We loved having our reception here...it brings the outdoors inside!

Amazing food, service, decorations etc. Our guests raved about the food and the whole wedding. I originally wanted an outdoor wedding but that was overwhelming. Long Fellows has a tree inside, the walls look like outside siding with windows, and they have a pond with a bridge over it! We loved everything about it and Kelly was great to work with! Our centerpieces looked exactly how I wanted them and they made everything look beautiful!

Perfect in Every Way

I rarely describe anything as being perfect, but our wedding at Longfellows was just downright magical. Every single detail was attended to and went according to plan, thanks in great part to our wedding coordinator, Gerri. She anticipated every single thing and kept the entire evening running like a well-oiled machine. All of the food was amazing, the servers were on top of everything, and the bartender knew everyone's drinks after meeting them once! We got married inside by the tree and it was beautiful -- like I said, magical. Our guests who had never been to Longfellows before could not believe what a gorgeous place it is -- even more so when it's dressed up for a wedding. Our friends and family are still texting us to rave about the entire event, from the ceremony to cocktails to dinner to the party. I can not recommend Longfellows enough. The entire night was above and beyond our expectations!

Couldn't have asked for a better fall venue. It was perfect, everything went so smoothly and everyone had a wonderful time, especially us :)

Loved this venue! Perfect night! Dance floor off to the side is the way to go. Food was great. Drinks were great...the two bars (one full bar and the other wine and beer) worked our really nicely. Our night was really better then imagined.

Flexible and amazing vendor during Covid-19

I had my wedding here in August 2020, originally planned for June. The owners and wedding planner Lauren were so wonderful throughout the entire planning process, especially since their was so much uncertainty surrounding Covid and wedding receptions. I’ve heard of nightmare stories from 2020 brides not getting back deposits, forcing to cancel, etc. but Longfellows allowed me and my husband to make decisions not based on fear of losing money, but based on what was best for us. Their flexibility, assistance and attention to safety was simply INVALUABLE and I would recommend this venue 1,000 times over for anyone who is looking for a beautiful wedding, dinner party or any event during COVID-19 and beyond.

Phenomenal service and care

Where do I begin....The appetizers were the talk of the party! Everything was set up and organized perfectly for cocktail hour. The class and elegance of the servers helping our bridal party to apps and drinks during photos was so helpful! All very thoughtful and considerate employees, that make you feel extra special on your big day. Outdoor weddings/catered events have a bad rep on plated meals....not with Longfellows---everything was delicious with a great presentation. Overall, it was top notch service with quality people. LONGFELLOWS is led by an amazing family who knows how to make you feel comfortable and happy with your decisions after each meeting, phone call or email correspondence. Will be using them in the future for events, and will be back for anniversaries at their restaurant!

Special shout out to Karen Harvey, our caterer manager. Who was the highlight of wedding planning without a wedding planner. She helped organize the entire wedding process by creating a step by step checklist that would align her team along with my other vendors. She really doesn't miss a beat! If I had a question, there Karen was immediately with the answer. I can't thank you enough.

I love this place!

I'm so glad that we picked Longfellows for our venue! The venue itself is stunning. There's a waterfall, a pond with live fish, and a gorgeous bridge where you can walk over the pond...all inside the venue. There's even a giant decorated tree in the middle of the dance floor! The staff was absolutely incredible, and did everything possible to make our day exactly as we wanted. The food was unbelievable. I'm still dreaming of the grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters. I can't say enough about how amazing this venue is!

Beautiful venue, food was delicious, better than eating at the restaurant, staff who worked our event was lovely. The only thing is an event was just prior to ours so it was last minute putting the chairs together and our music couldn’t start when they liked. Would definitely recommend. Very happy!!

People literally came up to me during my wedding and said “if I could redo my wedding, I’d get married here.” That’s how amazing our special night was. Longfellows was amazing during the entire process. From visiting the venue after our engagement, the food tasting, the final meeting and all my questions in between, Brenda always got back to me very quickly and made my husband and I feel so at ease that our day was going to be perfect... and it was. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was so nice and accommodating, and the banquet hall was decorated so beautifully with the tree and candles wrapped around the pond. I would recommend Longfellows and Director Brenda M. to anyone!

Longfellows was the absolute BEST!!! Lauren is an absolute sweetheart as well as a highly-skilled professional who made all of our wedding dreams come true. Patricia was also a wonderful member of the waitstaff who was so thoughtful on the day of our wedding and really showcased the A+++ service of this venue. The food, atmosphere, and service was beyond all of my expectations, and everything was also so reasonably priced. I received so many compliments on our wedding, and would recommend them to any future bride or event in general!

We used Longfellows for both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding reception. We could not be more pleased. What a beautiful venue. The food and service were exceptional both nights. We stayed the night of the rehearsal and the wedding night the rooms are beautiful. A special thank you to Brenda for all her quick responses to our emails and all of your work. My husband I worked with Brenda at Longfellow's to plan our perfect barn wedding in Thurman, NY. Brenda was wonderful to work with from the beginning, she was so enthusiastic, flexible and responsive to the hundreds of emails sent which was ideal when planning a destination wedding. The food and service were remarkable and the team worked so well together and with us. We would highly recommend Longfellow's to anyone looking for catering services in the Capital Region.

We were married at Longfellow's on November 4, 2017. From beginning to end it was an amazing experience. From the food tasting to decide which foods we wanted to have served to the actual day the staff leaves no stone unturned. Lauren Salvato is amazing and goes the extra mile and made sure we had everything we wanted and even things we didn't know we wanted and needed. She leaves no detail out. Her husband JD does the same thing with the food. Appetizers were beautiful and delicious and so plentiful. I can't imagine having had out wedding anywhere else. Such an unforgettable experience. I would recommend this venue for anyone!!!!

BOOK YOUR WEDDING WITH BRENDA AT LONGFELLOWS!!! I cannot say enough great things about her as a person or as an event planner. She answered all of my questions, no matter how silly they were and didn't make me feel like I was bothering her or wasting her time. She took care of EVERYTHING I needed. I live 5 hours away and she even met with me an extra time to go over everything so I didn't have to wait until my final meeting to do a full overview with her. I looked at a lot of venues and the majority of them you have to rent/buy linens, tables, chairs, and any venue decorations (like small candles, anything you need to prop up pictures, etc). All of that is in addition to head table decorations, string up lights, decorative flowers, etc. At longfellows you do not have to rent ANY of that because the venue already has it setup as a part of the venue for no added cost. The only thing I had to bring Brenda were my centerpieces and picture of my husband and I for the entrance. As if that's not enough, she also took care of all of our setup and breakdown. As a bride do you know how magical it was not to have to worry about setting up my venue the day I was getting married?!!???! I got to focus on getting ready and hanging with my bridesmaids. Then, when the night was over, I got to go straight back to my room and didn't have to take everything down. Everything that was mine got delivered to my room an hour after my reception was over and I was already in pajamas eating leftovers. Brenda also managed all of my catering through the on site restaurant (our guests raved about our food) aka less people I had to talk to or coordinate with and she also managed my hotel block/ check in and out special requests through the on site hotel again, less people I had to talk to. She is just such a wonderful person and made my planning and wedding day so much less stressful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING WITH BRENDA!!

Longfellows was hands down the best experience I could ever have dreamed of having. There were many times that my family, now-husband, and I said things like "We feel like we're living in a movie!" Longfellows handled everything, but still allowed us to add all the personal touches we wanted to truly make it our special day. Brenda, our wedding coordinator through the entire process, was AMAZING. She answered emails and phone calls promptly, gave tons of information and advice while still allowing us to make our own decisions, and was happy to work with us to make it fit our vision and our budget. At the last minute, our rehearsal dinner venue fell through and with less than a week to go, Brenda worked with the rest of the team to make sure that we had a phenomenal rehearsal dinner at Longfellows (we should have just selected them from the beginning). Finally, some of our closest friends and my mother in law have severe food allergies, and Longfellows accommodated with beautiful, delicious meals with no aggravation or hesitation. Every single person I encountered, from the folks setting up the room to the managers to the servers to the desk staff were friendly, kind, and so incredibly helpful. I truly cannot recommend Longfellows highly enough; I cannot imagine a better place for such a special day.

I wanted to thank Lauren and the Longfellows staff for making my wedding day so incredibly memorable and amazing. 5 star crew all the way. The staff was exceptional and made me feel really special and amazing for my wedding weekend. Everything went according to plan, all the setup was done beautifully, and the food was amazing. We barely had to lift a finger or stress out over anything, we just had to go, get married, and enjoy our time with family and friends.

They catered our wedding at Pat's Barn. Provided us with a planner and they coordinated every detail with us. Let me just say that I was stress free for most of the planning process because we had Longfellows. Extremely professional, responsive and willing to work with you. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of. The food was amazing as well and we received many compliments about it.

We had our daughters backyard wedding catered by Longfellows. They are amazing to work with and the food was amazing as well! Gerri was our wedding coordinator and exceeded our expectations. After talking to her about the wedding I knew that I would have no worries on my daughters special day. She and her staff came early and set everything up just the way the way that we wanted it. My daughters wish was to be married in front of our barn. While most of the afternoon was sunny, a storm came through right before the ceremony but with Gerri's help and taking time to wait for it to pass and holding off for just a little while, my daughter was able to get married in front of our barn and it was beautiful. She went out of her way to make that wish come true. The staff was so wonderful to work with and so caring and respectful to all of our guests and the food was absolutely delicious!
I highly recommend Longfellows, Gerri and the whole staff if you are looking for a caterer for an outdoor wedding or special occasion. You will not be disappointed!

We hired Longfellow's for our offsite reception and could not have been happier with them. We worked with Gerri, and swear we could not have done it all without her. She helped us from step one all the way to the big day with any detail we were stuck on. She made our vision come to life in our reception space, I was speechless at how perfect it all looked. The food was phenomenal, we got nothing but compliments from our guests. And the staff day of were all wonderful, 5 stars across the board!

We were initially unsure which catering company to use for our wedding at the Canfield Casino, but Gerri and Longfellow’s came highly recommended by our photographer, Rob Spring. I'm so glad that we took his advice and scheduled a meeting with her because she was the absolute best! Upon leaving our initial meeting, we had our decision made and knew that we would be in great hands with Longfellow's! Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Gerri was super helpful, kind, professional, and always put us at ease. Everything about our wedding was seamless and perfect thanks to Gerri and the entire Longfellows staff. The food was amazing, and all the staff were wonderful! Top notch quality and service!

Where can we even begin with Longfellows? It was the first venue that we visited and we feel in love with it. It also helped that the day we were looking at was also available. From our first meeting that day with Brenda up until the day after our wedding every single person was so warm and accommodating. Even Charlie, one of our favorite waiters, took the time out of his busy Saturday dinner service to stop down and congratulate us! All of the times that we called Brenda to ask a question about a small detail or to come in for a meeting to discuss different aspects of our big day she was always readily available and happy to hear from us. It was also great to be able to take part in the food tasting to hear about ideas from other couples, and to make sure the food selections were perfect. It ended up making the decision more difficult because all of the food is so delicious. My husband I made the decision to stay in separate rooms the night before the wedding and being on site made the day of wedding so much less stressful then it could have been, and having the ceremony at Longfellow's it also took all of the stress about having to worry about transportation.

Wow where to start?! Brenda was AMAZING! She helped Zak and I guide through the wedding process and had great communication with us! She responds back quickly with any questions we had. She was there from start to finish, and really had some great tips for us! When you first arrive to Longfellows the first thing you notice is how beautiful the facility is, but the service definitely outshined the beauty! To me that is extremely important. I highly recommend Brenda she was the best coordinator she really took a lot of stress off of my plate! And Terra who was the the best server! She treated everyone with such class! Zak and I loved it so much we are going to go back to stay and dine with them for every anniversary! Thank you Longfellows for making our day absolutely perfect!

We booked Longfellows Catering for our off-site wedding reception. We worked with Gerri throughout the planning process and I cannot say enough how fantastic, responsive, and helpful she was. We came in with some non-traditional wedding menu requests and Longfellows was more than accommodating. Day-of, the Longfellows catering staff set up our decorations beautifully and the food was amazing. Our guests had only good things to say about the food. But more than anything else, it was how easy Longfellows was to work with from start of planning to end of the wedding night that allows me to give them five stars. I highly recommend their catering services!

Booking Longfellows for our wedding reception was the best decision we made for our wedding! We worked with Rebekah & Gerri to plan our event. Right after our first meeting with Rebekah we just knew this place was in the wedding business. They had a clear understanding of what couples are looking for and boy do they deliver! You honestly won't have a worry in the world when you book with Longfellows. Our room was set up perfect, all my small decor was set up beautifully, the service was wonderful, and the food was outstanding. We got so many wonderful compliments from our guests on how unexpectedly beautiful the courtyard was & how great the food was. We had 140 guests and many people who came in from out of town. Longfellows was our little "hub" for the whole weekend! Having accommodations on premises for guests is just so key! We had an informal "welcome party" on Friday night at the Tavern bar. Then on Saturday after our reception we went back to the Tavern bar for a little after-party. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves all weekend. I could really go on & on about our experience.... If you're looking for something different than the traditional ballroom & you want the convenience of a beautiful hotel, look no further. Just book this place!!!

Longfellow's was absolutely perfect for our big day, we loved every single thing about it!! The food was amazing, our guests are still talking about how much food there was during cocktail hour and how delicious everything was. The dessert bar at the end of the night was a huge hit too! The staff was incredible, we worked with Gerri and she could not have been more efficient and professional and yet down to earth too, she was so much fun to work with. Every request we made leading up to the big day she made possible, and she was so quick to respond to the many, many emails I sent over the months lol. And the way she set up the reception area was everything I had envisioned, when we walked in and saw everything for the first time I tried my hardest not to cry, it all looked so amazing!! We had the best wedding weekend ever at Longfellow's, they went above and beyond and it couldn't have been more perfect!!

We decided to have our wedding at Longfellows after our first venue fell through, and we are SO happy we decided to have our wedding at Longfellows! We worked with Gerri and she was absolutely amazing. She was organized, answered all my questions right away and was very flexible. Everything about the big day was clearly outlined from the very beginning. There were absolutely no hidden surprises or costs. The venue is gorgeous and UNIQUE which we were complimented on by many guests. The ceremony can be held inside or outside (we opted for outside), the food was out of this world and there were so many food choices! They were extremely organized and very responsive to questions and emails. They were very flexible and had a lot of decorations that could be used at no additional cost that would have otherwise been an additional expense. It was also great to have the wedding party staying on site all weekend, it was so convenient and the hotel was gorgeous. We also had a post-wedding brunch there the next morning which was delicious! I would recommend Longfellows over and over again. It was the perfect setting that made for a perfect wedding day!!

My Bridal Shower was held at Longfellows and it was amazing. The service was fantastic and the space there is beautiful. The food was amazing and everyone is still raving about how nice it was there, I would highly recommend.

I booked Longfellows as my caterer for my wedding at the National Museum of Dance and it could not have gone more smoothly. Both Rebekah and Geri were both extremely attentive and answered all of my questions, while calming my nerves throughout the planning process and on the big day. I have to say they are more than just caterers they are part wedding planners- I was able to tell them my ideas and they were able to work with me giving their wedding expertise to make everything happen- from decorations to menus to place cards- they helped to organize it all. I am so happy we went with Longfellows, I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Longfellows was the perfect location for our wedding reception! We loved how unique the courtyard was and felt that it really fit our style. We had Longfellow's cater our big day at the Canfield Casino and let me just say, the food was out of this world!!!!! They took control and knew everything and how to do it. So many great comments about the food and how much there was and that nobody felt hungry, as everyone was just stuffed from cocktail hour into our actual dinner reception. The one thing you can count on is great service with Longfellows and they did an amazing job at our wedding especially when I was feeling overwhelmed with everything, I had Brenda and Rebekah calm me down through the entire process, as it was a long time until we actually got married and they went over everything that made me feel at ease to know they are professionals and have a great reputation and food to cater to anyone. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, as working with them is a pleasure. Also you cater with Longfellow's you get a nice complimentary suite that we took full advantage of!!!!

I was so happy with my choice of Longfellows as my wedding venue. The most unique aspect is that it is beautiful inside and out, and so when it was pouring on my wedding day, I was not disappointed to get married by the ponds! Rebekah worked with our budget and made suggestions to make the most out of our ideas for our wedding. She made sure I thought of many details that hadn't occurred to me! On the big day, she just knew where to be and when to help us from lining up to walk down the aisle, through the pictures, to timing of cake cutting, dancing, etc. She worked to coordinate and make everyone comfortable the entire time! Our waiter, Rich, made sure the wedding party had whatever we needed and even brought crackers out to our hungry flower girl during pictures! You will feel like your special day is very important to the staff at Longfellows!

I was so happy with how my daughter's wedding at Longfellow's turned out. She had both the ceremony and reception there and they did a fantastic job. The venue is so unique and beautiful inside and the staff did a great job setting everything up. We chose to do a buffet (or stations as they call them) and the food was outstanding - all the guests raved about the food. We worked with their event planner, Gerri, who was super helpful in helping us plan and execute the event. She worked with the vendors the day of the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly and was very accommodating of last minute changes. The wait staff was so helpful, especially at the end when everything needed to be packed up.

The only minor downside is that if you have the ceremony indoors, there is only enough seating for some of the guests (typically the families and elderly guests). I didn't mind this since our ceremony was pretty short. There is a nice space behind the hotel to have the ceremony outdoors and seat all the guests (you do have to rent the chairs but that is pretty cheap).

I would highly recommend Longfellow's for any event. It was especially beautiful for a wedding.

We loved the overall look and feel of Longfellows for our wedding reception. It it unlike any other average ballroom in the area. Rebekah and her team there are amazing. Throughout our planning, Rebekah was very helpful and accommodating. When we went for our final meeting with her, we handed off all of our centerpieces, favors and decorations and on our wedding day, everything was set-up exactly how we had imagined it. They even added extra lanterns around the room to compliment the lanterns we used in our centerpieces. Rebekah worked with us to customize our menu to meet our minimum without adding unnecessary items or duplicates. The food was amazing! They even wrapped up any leftover food from the cocktail hour and sent it up to our room after the reception. Our guests raved about the food too. Rebekah and her head banquet staff member ensured that our entire night was flawless and the flow of our events occurred seamlessly. They truly do go above and beyond there. Our family and friends continue to tell us how great everything turned out.

We had our rehearsal dinner, reception, and post-wedding breakfast at Longfellows. I can honestly say that our experience was superb. Everyone there was so nice, helpful, and professional. We worked mostly with Brenda from the wedding office, and she was the best. The location is fabulous! The pond, small waterfall, and big fish in the reception area make everything so much more special.
We highly recommend Longfellows. Our entire experience was magical! We have no complaints!!

We considered what felt like every possible venue before we discovered Longfellows. From the minute we first sat down with Rebekah, we knew we had found the perfect location for our wedding. Quality food was important to us at our reception, as many banquet halls focus on event planning first and cuisine second. We love dining at Longfellows, so we knew that our guests would love their meals. Rebekah was a FANTASTIC coordinator; she was always professional, calm, and extremely flexible and kind. She was willing to work with us, no matter what we asked for; she did provide excellent guidance, though, when we didn't have the expertise to make a decision on our own. Rebekah was always responsive and I felt 100% comfortable throughout the entirety of the our engagement that we were in good hands. On the day of our wedding, the entire staff of Longfellows performed equally superbly. The food was amazing, we were treated with the utmost professionalism, and every aspect of our day was carried out flawlessly. I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Longfellows. I would absolutely recommend this venue to everyone who wants the ability to custom-build their wedding and reception and enjoy a unique experience in a beautiful setting.

Rebekah and her staff catered my wedding at Anne's Washington Inn on 4/25/15. It was a fantastic day and Rebekah made it run seemlessly. She helped with the timing of the ceremony and the pace the cocktail hour and the food service for the evening. The food and drinks were fantastic and her staff made my husband and I felt taken care of. She helped us craft a menu for the type of wedding we wanted and the guests seemed to really enjoy the food. We felt the services provided were a good value. Longfellows will work with you to craft the event that you envision. I would definitely recommend them to couples looking for catering services for their wedding.

Both evenings far exceeded our expectations and we would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a location to get married. My husband and I worked mostly with Rebekah at Longfellows for the planning process. She and the staff at Longfellows were very accommodating from the planning process until our last guest departed our wedding. Rebekah was always available to answer questions via email or phone. Our tasting with Rebekah and the chef was so personalized and fun as well. The food was plentiful and delicious! You will not be disappointed. My husband and I informed Rebekah of our plans (set up, order of reception and cocktail hour details) and all were met 100%! We could not have been happier and would love to do the day all over again if we could. All of our guests (both local and from out of state) were highly pleased with the physical environment of Longfellow's as well as the food. The waitstaff and bartender were also incredible all night and accommodated all ouf our approximately 100 guests comfortably. My husband and I received a room included the night of our wedding which was also extra special from Rebekah including a bottle of champagne! In our opinion, Longfellow's will give any bride and groom an incredible value for their wedding and can also eliminate loads of stress. The staff are all very experienced and our night went off without a hitch! We did much of our planning from out of state as we moved prior to the wedding and Rebekah met all of our needs still!

We had my daughter's wedding at Longfellows and couldn't have been happier. Geri was outstanding as our event planner/coordinator. She made excellent recommendations, met with us multiple times, was willing to put up extra decorations that we wanted for the Christmas holiday... Working with Longfellows for our wedding was an absolute pleasure. We were lucky enough to have Gerri as our coordinator. She kept us on track with our wedding planning and was always willing to meet up, email or talk on the phone to discuss anything about our wedding. She is one of the most detail oriented, organized, clam, kind people I have ever met. I have no idea how we would have planned our wedding without her.

Not only did Gerri help us to customize our menu but, she even had the chef make an appetizer based off of one of our family recipes. This helped us to make our wedding truly personalized--since the food selection was all things we love! Gerri also helped us by recommending other vendors. Almost all that she recommend we hired and they were wonderful! And everyone worked together so seamlessly.

Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was! From the cocktail hour, dinner, cake and the late night station everything was just fabulous. And the service was wonderful and so accommodating!!

We would happily recommend Longfellows to anyone looking for a caterer!

The second best thing to getting married at Longfellows is having them cater your wedding at another location. One, their food is amazing. During the tasting my husband and I wanted to choose all of the options. Nothing is bad there. Nothing. Two, the staff is ridiculously professional and amazing. Rebekah was our coordinator and she is seriously top notch. Nothing went wrong and if it did, I didn't know because she was on top of it. They were so great, after we came home from the after party, the staff had boxed up leftover food and put it in our hotel room refrigerator. I love Longfellows so much, I need another event for them to cater!

I cannot say enough great things about Longfellows. We used them for our Rehearsal Dinner and our caterer for our wedding reception. The team at Longfellows surpassed our expectations! Our Rehearsal Dinner was held up in the Loft and was really private and intimate. Everyone raved about the building, the food, the staff, pretty much everything! The staff was so pleasant and accommodating. We really connected with them.

Rebekah was our planner for our wedding and we are so lucky that we had her. She was amazing and really went above and beyond her job duties. Unfortunately we had a last minute crisis with the venue for our wedding day (not Longfellows) and Rebekah went way above and beyond her job to make sure that our day was special and worked everything out. She really made our day perfect. Our family and friends continuously commented on how awesome she was. She really knows her stuff! Thank you Rebekah and Longfellows team for everything! We will definitely use them for all events that we have in the future!

A perfect location for a destination wedding! Staying in a room that's also in the same building as our ceremony/reception was incredibly convenient. It allowed all of our guests to have a great time, and not be concerned about driving anywhere once the celebration ended. Gerri and her entire staff were total professionals, making our stay worry-free. All of our guests had a great time, some even said it was the best party they've ever been to! Food/drink was abundant and everything was absolutely delicious. When our ceremony ended, food was literally being brought out as guests filtered back to their tables. I would highly recommend spending a little extra to get the Evening Star package.

One recommendation is to plan ahead for lunch. Either bring some food with you (rooms have larger fridges), or plan out a few places. There are plenty of restaurants within ten minutes. Longfellows' restaurant is wonderful, but doesn't open until later in the day.

Thank you for a memorable weekend Longfellows, we can't wait to go back!

Having our reception at Longfellows was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. They were beyond helpful from start to finish! When we first met with Gerri to find out about having our reception we didn't feel any pressure to commit, but boy are we glad we did! Our guests raved about the food (taste and abundance), the uniqueness of the actual place, and we were very happy with the friendliness of the staff.

We worked with Gerri for the entire process and she was very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. She made everything very clear and the planning process went smoothly with her handling the details.

They have a large number of packages and add-on options to fit a wide variety of budgets and styles. They also cater off site, which is delicious from weddings I have been to where they cater, so give Longfellows a thought if you are looking to have your wedding elsewhere!

We really enjoyed the rehearsal dinner that we had at Longfellows. It was located in the cozy room on the top level and provided the perfect relaxing and intimate prelude to our wedding. We were feeling pretty frantic with last minute wedding planning but once we got to Longfellow's the staff took care of us and we were able to take it in and enjoy a nice meal with our family and friends in a private room. They were even kind enough to extend our reservation later into the evening when we arrived a bit late. The food was excellent and we were able to select a few bottles from a long wine list. Longfellows was just what we needed to start off our wedding weekend on the right note; highly recommended!

When we started planning our wedding, I knew I wanted it to be somewhere that had charm. We looked into a few places, and then I thought of Longfellows and every place else was no longer an option. We worked with Gerri and Brenda, who were absolutely amazing. Gerri always told us that no matter what we needed, they would do it. Any questions that I had were promptly answered. The level of organization that Longfellows runs at is impressive. When we had our final meeting before the wedding, we brought in many boxes of decorations and other items for the ceremony and reception. After so many months of planning and putting everything together, it felt a little strange to hand everything over, but Brenda made us feel at ease.

When the wedding day came, she had every single detail exactly how we had envisioned it. From the time that guests were arriving for the ceremony, to when last guest left, everything ran smoothly. Brenda had everyone where they needed to be, when they needed to be there, and we were never rushed. The food was fantastic. I only wish we could’ve extended cocktail hour to eat more of the delicious appetizers! To top it off, when we made it back to our hotel room, we were greeted by a congratulations card, along with chocolates and chilled champagne. Thank you so much Gerri, Brenda, and the entire Longfellows staff, for everything you did to make our wedding perfect!

Due to weather circumstances we had the entire restaurant to ourselves an the staff was still smiling and attentive despite the inconvenience. The hotel room we had was attached to the restaurant so I never had to go outside in my dress. Longfellows made my wedding day absolutely amazing! We worked with Gerri and she was fantastic- prompt e-mails, excellent advice, and anything I needed throughout the entire planning process, she was right there. The wedding and reception space was beautiful! The food was delicious, the portions huge, and everyone raved about it! Our overnight room was gorgeous; we only wished we could have stayed longer! My husband and I are were very impressed with the quality of service, the quality of food, the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff at Longfellows. Longfellows catered our wedding at an off site location and they far exceeded our expectations. Our guests were very impressed by the food offered for both taste and portion size. On site we had two members of the Longfellows staff who helped to coordinate all of the little details so that everything ran smoothly. I don't think we could speak high enough praise to express how pleased we were with Longfellows.

We had the rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and brunch all at Longfellows. Rebekah Foster was great setting up dinner, Gerri was the best at setting up the rest. On behalf of my wife, we thank everyone on the longfellows team for an exceptional weekend!

Longfellows was amazing to work with every step of the way. The venue itself is gorgeous and certainly different from the average hotel ballroom. They are professionals through and through. They do so many weddings that they know everything to ask and how to make it work. Working with any member of the event staff is easy and pleasurable. They helped us plan our ideal wedding and were always extremely responsive to any questions. The food is its own love song. You can't make a bad choice, everything was so good. We did the Wedding Stations option, and it gave us so much variety we saw many people going for seconds.. or more! Everything went off without a hitch thanks to their amazing staff. We'll never forget our fantastic wedding day! I'd definitely recommend Longfellows to anyone looking to get married in a second.

My husband and I had our reception at longfellows and from the very beginning Gerri and Brenda were fantastic. Anything I had wanted, they just said ok, we can do that. They made sure we knew exactly what needed to be do e and how they were going to make it all come together. We never had any doubt in the choice we made in having our wedding reception there. When we arrived at our reception, Brenda and Rich greeted us right away. Rich was so attentive throughout the night, as was the entire staff. Any time we sat down at our table, we had a staff member right there asking of we needed anything. The food was absolutely amazing and the room looked beautiful. There is nothing that we would change about the entire evening. After the reception, we were able to go to our awesome hotel room to be see a congratulations card, chocolates and champagne waiting for us. This bride and groom could not have asked for a more perfect wedding reception. Thank you Gerri, Brenda, Rich and all of the longfellows staff for making our day so spectacular!

Ricky and I had a fantastic experience with longfellows and will forever suggest it for special occasions! We got fantastic feedback from all of our guests and we truly felt like we lived a fairy tale. We will definitely be coming back for romantic getways and dinner in the future!

Gerri and the staff at Longfellows are fantastic to work with! Gerri was always quick to answer any questions that we had and made the whole planning process very smooth and non-stressful. We had a lovely tasting from our chosen menu so there were no surprises the day of. Gerri and the staff were very good about setting up all of my decorations / centerpieces just the way I wanted them. I did not have to worry about a thing! The service was great at the wedding and everything ran smoothly. Our waitress was even kind enough to wipe chocolate cake off my neck after my brother thought it would be funny to smear it all over me! I would recommend Longfellows to any bride! Oh and the venue itself is beautiful and very unique, definitely not your everyday banquet hall. A+++++++

The team at Longfellows is absolutely fabulous - Gerri, Rebekah and Brenda. They are extremely helpful, kind and professional. Longfellows really was a gem for my husband and I because they are a "one stop shop." They take care of everything. The staff went above and beyond making my day happen and when it was finally The Big Day, it went without a hitch.

Longfellows was very accommodating. Our wedding planner Gerri was amazing! The place is beautiful and the food is amazing. We had a couple minor details go wrong but they try to fix everything as fast as possible. That's kinda expected on wedding days! Gerri came and checked on me all day , while I was getting ready, made sure I had everything I needed. She made our wedding day very calming, as nervous as I was she is very relaxing to work with. She stuck around for most of the reception and was everywhere you needed her to be, even when you didn't realize it until that moment! She's amazing at her job and I'm grateful that we had her! Longfellows is a beautiful place to get married.

Whenever we told anyone that we had booked our wedding at Longfellows, the response we received was "My (friend, sister, neighbor, cousin, etc.) was married there and it was awesome!" There is a reason everyone gets married at Longfellows- it's an amazing experience. First, they are very reasonably priced, but you'd never know that as a guest. I overheard multiple people saying "this must have cost a fortune". The food was fantastic- not your typical wedding fare. The service was beyond expectations. The executive chef came out to meet us and make sure everything was ok. Rebekah was our coordinator for the day and she took care of everything. It was like we got a wedding planner for free. The whole day went so smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything. I even had a few people tell me it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Longfellows was a dream to work with and I'd recommend them to everyone!!!

Brenda and the rest of the Longfellows team was great! She was very helpful and accommodating. The day of the wedding, the team made sure my husband and I were taken care of and had everything we needed. The food was amazing (I only had time for a few bites but made sure to take the time to eat because the food was spectacular). A special piece of jewelry was lost and the staff took the time to find it for me and it was found. I wasn't sure if they would actually look for it, as my day was over, but they did which is very telling. The venue was generally a bit pricey but worth every penny, you truly get what you pay for!

I cannot begin to express what an incredible experience I had having my wedding at Longfellow's. My designated wedding coordinator, Rebekah, answered my constant questions and concerns during my 2 year engagement! She was there during the whole process and the wedding day was FLAWLESS. Food was delicious, staff was friendly, respectful, and they all did an amazing job making sure my day went as perfect as I planned it to be. I would recommend future brides to look into this beautiful venue. So many family members and friends from far away were amazed at the beautiful decor and unique style of Longfellow's. I am so pleased at chose Longfellow's as my wedding venue and I will be returning in the future without a doubt. 5 stars to Longfellow's, their wonderful staff, and Rebekah for her hard work and dedication!!!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Longfellows and had a wonderful experience. We originally chose Longfellows because of the atmosphere and decor, which are so unique with the walls decorated like the outside of houses and a pond and tree inside! We quickly came to love everything else about Longfellows too! We worked with Rebekah, who was always professional, helpful, and prompt in response to any questions we had. She made everything so easy on the wedding day, made sure everything was perfect, and went off without a hitch! The wait staff, especially Robb who made sure we were taken care of that day, were wonderful. We had dinner stations for our wedding. The food was great, and our guests were happy with the selection and amount of food available to them. We also had a lot of out of town guests who were very happy with the hotel rooms and staff. I would highly recommend Longfellows for a wedding (or any event)! I don't think our day would have been as perfect anywhere else!

I cannot say enough about the staff and service at Longfellows! When looking for an intimate wedding venur for 25-35 of our closest family members, I had no idea about the wine cellar space available at Longfellows. Thankfully we were introduced to Rebekah and right away we knew it was a perfect fit! Rebekah was fabulous to work with-- she went over every detail with us, offered us tons of help and assistance and was extremely flexible with us in planning a small reception in a short time frame. The venue was the perfect combination of elegance and comfort and the waitstaff were phenomenal! We were thrilled with the food and service. I really can't thank the staff at Longfellows for making our wedding day the best it could possibly be-- easy, hassle free, and relaxing. We were able to focus on our family and leave the rest to them :) THANKS LONGFELLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not say enough good things about Longfellows. We worked with Rebekah and Gerri - they were very responsive, very organized and overall a pleasure to work with. Out of all the venues we looked at, Longfellows was hands-down the most beautiful location especially for the time of year we had our wedding (December). It's beautifully decorated so that you don't need to provide much other than your centerpieces and the food is absolutely delicious. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was and how great the food tasted. We had about 150 guests which they were able to easily accommodate. The bride and groom also receive a beautiful complimentary room to stay the night in which was perfect. I would 100% recommend Longfellows to anyone looking for a venue for their event.

The service and food at Longfellows is amazing. Geri worked with us from the start to finish. She was there throughout the ceremony and until after dinner. She even fixed my dress. The food was great. My wedding was amazing.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Longfellows. From the moment we walked in for the first time, to the day after the our wedding Gerri and her staff were phenomenal. Gerri ensured everything was perfect, and was quick to respond to our million and 1 different questions. She answered our questions, before we even thought to ask them. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests raved that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. The bridal suite was a wonderful place to retreat to after our amazing reception! We, along with all our friends and family, were treated like royalty during the entire wedding process. It was all around the perfect day at Longfellows.

Our wedding at Longfellow's was beautiful. We worked with rebekah and she was amazing from day 1. Emails were returned promptly and I always felt that she was doing all she could to make our day great. The food was delicious and everyone had a great time. Highly recommend

We planned our ceremony in a little over 2 months, and from the very start the event coordinators were very responsive and extremely helpful. We did start out with Brenda and eventually was paired with Rebekah. She is absolutely amazing!! She went over so many little details I hadn't even thought of, and was very patient with all our questions and last minute ideas.
There was so much food, a lot of our guests commented on how delicious the food was. The setup with the ice cream station was such a hit!!! We had about 8 little kids so we wanted to really please everyone that came. They did a beautiful job with the tables, decorations and lighting. I can't gush enough about how perfect everything was.
Thank to to the entire staff at Longfellows. Our night was truly unforgettable

Hands down the very best! We live longfellows for everyday dining and the indoor atmosphere-- simple but elegant! Gerri saw us through the entire process and was fantastic to work with! She offered suggestions but was highly responsive to our needs as well. A few times another coordinator needed to answer questions abd they were so on top if everything it wad like we were dealing with gerri! Everything went smoothly and we are still getting compliments about longfellows almost a month later! First time I noticed that everyone's plates were cleared! The food and service is awesome and the price was more than reasonable! Every bride and groom to be should dine there to consider it a possibilit.

I can't say enough positive things about Longfellows. They catered our wedding offsite and it was a dream. Their staff made the entire process flow so smoothly from the first meeting to our fabulous hotel room after our reception! They accommodated all our wants. Anything we needed was taken care of with a smile and a "don't you worry about a thing" attitude. It all comes down to their staff. What wonderful people they are and they helped to make our wedding day all we could have hoped. On top of it, the food was delicious!! We had many compliments on our wedding menu. I highly recommend Longfellows for onsite and offsite events!

Longfellows staff were incredibly helpful and flexible throughout our whole planning process. They were able to offer advice and insight about details of the reception that I hadn't even thought of. They were friendly and professional and truly made my vision come true. They took my decorations and took care of everything exactly the way I had asked and I never once felt uncomfortable allowing them to take care of decorations while I focused on everything else I had to do that day. Not only that, but all of the food was delicious! I am 100% satisfied with the service at longfellows and am very glad we chose to have our reception there!!! I fully recommend them for any type of celebration.

When my now husband and I were looking for a wedding venu we were looking for a place that had the "whole" package. When we came upon Longfellows we knew we had our place!! Not only is the place unique and stand out from all the rest, the food is AMAZING!! The best part was on our wedding day I didnt stress out for one second because I knew Gerri, and the rest of the Lonfellows staff would have every last detail perfect, and they did!! I would recommend Longfellows to any couple that wants an amazing staff to count on, an amazing breathe taking venu, and fabulous food!! 5 stars all the way around!!

I can't say enough AMAZING things about Longfellows! Not only was it the most beautiful venue, the food was phenomenal, the waitstaff and planners were SO accommodating, even though we decided to have quite a non-traditional wedding. The staff at Longfellows rolled with all our craziness, helped us with everything & bent over backwards to help us with everything we needed!

I'd recommend them to anyone!
