Redmon Wedding 1.21.22
I met with Fabiola several times and her communication was consistent throughout our process. This ensured that the day of the wedding everything flowed beautifully. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The venue itself was gorgeous. As the designer for my own wedding I was able to create the dream I had in my head in this venue and it was absolutely stunning!!!! We used all 3 spaces from the mansion to the ballroom and the carriage house and our guests loved being in one place with 3 different spaces for celebration! I can't speak enough about how amazing the food is, I really need to know what the recipe was for that mahi mahi because it's one of the best I've ever had.
Everyone was so accommodating and even after it was all over the staff helped break it all down And ensured that we had everything we needed.
My experience with Lone Star mansion was everything I hoped for on the happiest day of our life. -

Fabiola and her staff were the best! My husband and I could not be happier with how our wedding went. Everyone was very attentive and the venue was BEAUTIFUL! Everything went super well, with no issues whatsoever. Fabiola made sure that everything went according to plan, if any issue did arise, it was handled with grace and patience. She made sure that our day was amazing; it was like something out of a movie. Her staff took great care of us and our guests! The food was delicious and beautifully served. All throughout it is the best place for your wedding. -

Thank you for working with us through the difficulties caused by the pandemic and giving us the wedding of our dreams! You helped us create memories for a lifetime. -AND- Thank you so much for recording our piano player! None of us thought about it, even though we enjoyed having him play during our pre-ceremony and photos! When I saw it posted on the LSM Facebook page, I was overjoyed! -

Lone Stae Mansion
Fabiola was very flexible and accommodating. She allows us to set up the tables and all the details in the venue on Friday instead of Saturday. She allows to get there earlier (couple of hours ahead) than the rehearsal in order to start organizing all the additional decor.. We were able to rehearse on Friday for an hour without any interruptions. Fabiola allows us to focus and be fully prepared for our daughter’s wedding. Every detailed was up to perfection. The tables, the food, the lunch provided on Saturday, the photos, the DJ. We were able to relax on Saturday because Fabiola was there to help us out with every need. What a wonderful night. They also allows to have sparklers to enlighten the path for the newly weds to an helicopter ride. The venue was so beautiful with coffee lights all around. First class certainly!!! :-) -

My family and I couldn't be more impressed with The Lone Star mansion and the magical experience they created for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and vow renewal. The new ownership has taken the experience to another level and goes above and beyond any expectations to make your event a success. The mansion itself and the grounds are breathtaking and we couldn't have asked for better service. Everything from the set up for the vow renewals in one building to the party room and catering were just outstanding. Not to mention they juggled all of the different aspects and moving pieces of this event with ease on top of hosting my parents in the wedding suite for the weekend!

My husband and I picked this venue not just because it’s beautiful landscaping, great hospitality, food and event areas. We picked this venue because my husband did the foundation and plumbing to it several years ago and he always aspired to have a wedding here when he chose to get married. Also, the name of our plumbing company came from the thought of lone star as well. Overall it was a dream to host our wedding at this location. We were able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place. A lot of our guest appreciated that. Our event director(s) Nicole and Sara were very helpful and flexible with us during this whole planning experience including dealing with COVID-19 and having to postpone. I highly recommend hosting your wedding or event at Lone Star Mansion. It’s absolutely everything you can dream of. -

Attending one of the weddings here was a great experience the space is very open and well organized. Best venue hands down just beautiful never seen anything like it. And don’t get me started on the food. It was so good and very filling. Staff is very courteous and well dressed. Over all I would definitely recommend this to anyone. -

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Lone Star Mansion! All of the staff was always very kind and responsive, which made the process leading up to the day very easy. Everyone was so supportive the day of, and tended to every request and need we had. They helped make sure every detail was taken care of and that all my husband and I had to worry about was having a wonderful day. The venue is also beautiful and makes for GORGEOUS pictures! The food was also great! We received so many compliments from guests on the venue and food. Everything about the venue and day was perfect...you can’t go wrong with LSM! -

The Fairytale Wedding Every Little Girl Dreams About
My daughter loved when I read her Cinderella as a child. She always wanted the magical wedding. At The Mansion, her dreams came true. From the drive into the Mansion, The beautiful grand staircase, the ceremony in the beautiful glass atrium, cocktails by the pool, and the reception in the rustic, yet elegant carriage house. Everything went so smooth and right on time. It was a magical day for all! -

My husband and I saw the Mansion at a gathering two years before we were even engaged and while there he told me "this is where we will be getting married one day". When we got engaged he had only three requests and the number one request was the only place we would even look at was the mansion. I could not be more pleased with our choice. Not only is the mansion its self worth every penny but the food was AMAZING. from the lunch provided by the staff to the dinner everything was PERFECT. having the option to be served lunch made for one less thing to worry about and as you get closer to the day that is just not something you need on your plate! we also loved that our friends had a great time. there was no stressing out trying to find room for people or things and our wedding party was able to enjoy this entire day with us! Sara and Alex were ANGELS, SERIOUSLY they were heaven sent. I could not imagine how my wedding day would have gone if it were not for those two! Thank you all so much!

Amelia Sent on 01/02/2018We husband and I got married at LSM 12/2/17 and we are so pleased we chose this venue! Sara and Tigi are amazing. They were there for many throughout the whole process and on the day they made sure everything ran smoothly and that I was never in need of anything. I truly felt like a princess. The property speaks for itself. Our guests were blown away and fell in love with the mansion. We were married by the oak tree and had our reception in the carriage house. We chose the Emilia buffet (Italian) and we still hear how delicious it was. I’m so impressed how Sara and Tigi both go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. They truly amazing and their craft, they were on top of everything. Go check out LSM, you won’t be disappointed!

The Mansion, ballroom, Carriage House, and grounds are beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff are phenomenal. Tigi and Sarah made sure our day went smoothly and stress-free. My now husband and I were frequently out of the area during wedding planning due to job responsibilities, and Tigi made the planning process easy even though we couldn’t always be nearby. They were kind, courteous, professional, and patient with all our questions and requests. When we had an issue with contacting a vendor, Tigi contacted them to resolve the issue on our behalf.
We had so many compliments on the food from our guests! My husband is a foodie so I knew we had to make sure our dinner was good, but it exceeded our expectations! We were thoroughly impressed with our experience with Lone Star Mansion and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Jade Sent on 10/04/2017Having our wedding at Lone Star Mansion was perfect. It is very regal and is extremely unique. Our coordinator Tigi was great from start to finish. She is very down to earth and honest when we would ask her opinion on things. The venue had lots of pretty spots for our wedding photos which was extremely important to me. You also have to do the catering through their chef and we picked the Italian menu. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was! They just recently upgraded the carriage house for the reception which turned out so beautiful. They also have a helicopter landing pad which we took advantage of for our exit. The majority of our guests were all from out of state and we wanted them to love our Texas wedding. We got so many compliments and everyone thought the venue had such a wow factor. I am so happy we picked Lone Star Mansion. Thank you so much for making our most important day flawless!

Madison Sent on 10/03/2017Could not rave about this place anymore! The LSM crew, especially Tigi, is top notch. They made our wedding day absolutely perfect. With awful weather on the horizon, the LSM crew was able to keep me calm. The fact that they have multiple, beautiful back drops for any type of ceremony (including an amazing indoor option) made this venue a no brainer. Their catering was also great. We went with the Italian Buffet, and our guest raved about it! They kept our day running smoothly, and I cannot think them enough. The grounds, the Mansion, Ballroom, Reception hall, The CHEF (OMG the Chef!) and the whole event Staff is incredible!! I worked very closely for over a year with the wedding/event staff for our black tie Wedding in June of 2017. Our wedding was everything I imagined and SO much more. They were so accommodating with all the vendors and suggested some that were just as spectacular as they were. It was the day of my dreams.
What I love most is that the Mansion is a one stop shop for the day of. There is a full salon upstairs for all the girls to get pampered in and in the basement is the most incredible man cave!! With a Pool, Billards, Poker, Sauna's and yes, a Bar! My man was entertained all day and I had peace of mind knowing he was there! Ha! After the wedding my husband and I got to stay at the mansion in their master bedroom and had full access to the grounds. It was such a lovely way to wind down from the night, take it all in and enjoy our first night as husband and wife!
If we had to do it all over the Lone Star Mansion would be our venue again and again!! Thank you Tigi, Sarah and the whole staff from the bottom of my heart for helping make our dream day come true!!

Our wedding was held during the venue's transition to new management. That transition was not communicated to us until the last minute by the old owners and led to some confusion, that's the only reason for my slightly lower review.
Once we got introduced and familiar with Fabiola and the new staff at Lone Star Mansion, they were great during our big day in November! We had an issue with our alcohol vendor and they went above and beyond to help, even though the mistake had nothing to do with them. They were extremely solutions oriented in helping us find work arounds so that the flow of our reception wasn't interrupted. The service that my husband and I received during the reception was fantastic as well. The wedding day is such a whirlwind and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed from saving us some of the lamb lollipops at our cocktail hour to ensuring our champagne glasses were never empty during the reception. Between the service level and the amazing beauty of the location, I would highly recommend the Lone Star Mansion for your wedding! -

Our wedding was about a month ago, and guests are still talking about how beautiful and breathtaking the venue was and how amazing the food was. My favorite part was the overnight stay. We were able to use the entire mansion and go where we wanted (we took advantage of the saunas in the man cave). This brings me to my husbands favorite part. The man cave is in the basement and has pool, a poker room, saunas (wet and dry), showers, a bar, and a huge tv, where they could play video games or watch cable tv. Overall, this was the perfect place to get married, and I couldn’t have imagined a better venue.

Lone Star Mansion is a beautiful venue that does not require much more decor as the place speaks for itself. The staff were wonderful but my draw back was having to go through 3 day of coordinators with the newest hire having my wedding as her first. Nonetheless, things turned out well and there was a lot of value to the venue overall. -

The food was great, as well, which seems like an understatement considering I ate so much! These people are the best at providing everything you could ask for in a venue!

My husband and I recently got married at the Lone Star Mansion. We absolutely enjoyed that we were able to select a package where we could have the venue all day of the wedding and stay the night in their Bridal Suite. We were both able to have a calm and relaxing day leading up to the wedding because the coordinators made sure to take care of any details or communication to relay to our vendors, wedding party, and guests. We loved that we had the opportunity to stay the night at the mansion, we felt well pampered by the amenities, and were given breakfast that next morning. We felt like we were in a fairy-tale. -

Our daughter's wedding was in November. The beauty and magic of this venue come from the architecture, the grounds, and the invited guests who help you celebrate. BUT that’s where it stops…
- During the initial tour, they treated us like we were valued customers. All of that changed after signing the contract and paying the deposit. The staff called and texted several times to ask the same questions that had previously been answered multiple times. We booked the venue exactly 12 weeks before the wedding date, so the planning phase was short and they still couldn’t keep our file organized. They generally seemed uninterested and unprofessional.
- Also during the initial tour, the carriage house was set up for an event, and we were told that everything was included with the package price. However, during the planning meeting (which Fabiola was 30 minutes late for), the candle holder centerpieces were all of a sudden $25 per centerpiece to rent. The signed contract never stated anything about rentals, and there was not an itemized rental pricing sheet in the contract or in any of the follow-on correspondence. The cross in the ballroom/chapel was also a major item shown in the “all-inclusive” tour and was the deciding factor for our daughter when she chose this venue. The cross was not set up at the rehearsal the day before the wedding, and when we asked about it, we were met with rude remarks and informed that it is a rental item. Also, one of the employees, Keesha, was unprofessional during our rehearsal and was also rude to several guests on the day of the wedding.
- We paid for meals for 131 guests. At the last moment, 39 people were unable to attend due to illnesses and other various reasons. This was $1483.05 (before the added tax and service charges) worth of food that we paid for and were not given the opportunity to donate to a homeless shelter or give away at our discretion. During dinner service, multiple guests overheard the service staff say they were taking all of our extra food home with them. This is absolutely unbelievable!
- After the cake cutting, the staff took the cake to the kitchen for cutting and guest service. Upon returning from the sparkler send-off at 10:00, both wedding cakes as well as the hand-painted cookie favors were nowhere to be found. I assume the staff took those home as well. We came inside with almost two hours to spare before we had to be out of the venue to try the other cake flavors that we did not get a chance to try earlier. All of the cake was gone! The two employees in the kitchen conveniently had no idea what happened to it.
- Most of our guests complained that the staff continuously removed food and drink items from the tables, even if they were mostly full. Guests had to make several unnecessary trips to get more drinks. Service was terrible!
- The contract states that a uniformed sheriff’s deputy is required to be on the grounds for security. There was no security officer at this event, which is required because alcohol was being served.
- The planning sheet for the bridal resort package stated that a breakfast menu would be provided for the morning breakfast. No menu was ever provided, and the bride and groom were served plain bagels and a side of fruit.
- For the bridal resort package where the couple stays the night, one employee remains on the grounds for the night for safety reasons…understandable if there's a separate space for the person to stay. But this man was out in the hall and spent the night in the room directly across from the bridal resort bedroom, which made the wedding night awkward and not romantic at all. Also, the bride and groom said the bed was extremely uncomfortable.
- If you're still not deterred, all of this and more can be yours for a hefty price of over $17,000!Lone Star Mansion's reply:

We are always looking for ways to improve things like client communication, and feedback like this is very important for us to hear, especially in those rare cases when a client feels we have fallen short of their expectations. Some things we cannot change policy on, such as food safety regulations, which prevent anyone from taking food home due to food safety risks. But certainly if we can improve our interactions with our clients at any point in the process, we always want to look for ways to do that.
