We had the most beautiful wedding thanks to The Log Cabin team. Even though our event was off-site, they executed everything flawlessly. The satellite kitchen setup was perfection — our guests were raving about the food all night, from the passed apps to the dessert tables filled with such an impressive variety.
Our coordinator, Lisa, truly went above and beyond. She made sure every detail we envisioned was executed perfectly and kept us completely calm through all the chaos that naturally comes with a wedding day. Her presence, organization, and kindness made all the difference.
The staff was amazing: professional, attentive, and so seamless in their work that cleanup felt invisible — almost like no one was ever there, except for the incredible service they provided.
Choosing The Log Cabin was one of the best decisions we made. They helped make our day absolutely unforgettable, and we cannot recommend them enough. -

From start to finish, Lisa West was at our service. Explaining options, finding out our wants and needs for the reception, helping with planning, down to the colors of our linens! There was nothing that wasn’t covered. When planning our wedding we had a list of vendors that we could have chose from. We chose Log Rolling Catering, because of their reputation in the area. They’ve been around forever and there’s a reason why! It was stress free, enjoyable and in the end it all went down without a single blip! We couldn’t have asked for better service. Gaige (our onsite manager the day do the wedding) made sure everything was running smoothly and checking in with us to ensure everyone was happy. The food was DELICIOUS. We opted for a buffet because it met our budget. Usually, I feel that wedding buffet food is somewhat bland and average. This was not the case with ours… People were coming up to us days later saying how delicious and amazing all the food was. From the appetizers to the salad, to the entrées to the desserts… Everything was amazing. The wait staff was just as amazing… They were attentive and professional. There was a few things that I had to request from them super last minute and it was literally within minutes that everything was taken care of. I cannot say enough about our experience with them! I would’ve chosen nobody else. Thank you guys for being part of our special day… You truly made it special!

Our experience was great! Lisa is incredible and was responsive, attentive, and personable throughout our planning experience. We loved the touch of being able to share our tasting experience with some friends, and had really great feedback about the food! I do wish we had been able to have more apps while we were taking photos as our family swarmed our platter and we didn't get any, but it's always a good sign when people swarm the food! Thank you Log Rolling team for making our day scrumptious! -

We are so happy we used Log Rolling Catering for our Friday night rehearsal dinner (taco truck) and our Saturday night reception (buffet).
We worked with Lisa who was AMAZING and super responsive and helpful in helping us choose our dishes and even helped us with the timeline of our reception a bit. She was great about allergies-- we had people with celiac, vegetarian, dairy-free, allium allergies-- all happily accommodated with the buffet. One side note that the taco truck is a bit harder to accommodate allergies!
The food was delicious both nights and the service was amazing (we were especially blown away by the short rib and the salmon). Our server, Delima, was especially kind and a joy to work with. We had a sundae bar instead of a cake cutting which was very fun and delicious as well. We would definitely recommend log rolling for catering your wedding or any event, they were amazing!! -

I recently utilized Log Rolling for a Staff Holiday Event at my Assisted Living and Memory Care Community in Ludlow, MA. They provided an incredible array of several key dishes, including vegetarian options and attention to sensitivities for approximately 100 employees. Communication to create the event was clear, arrival and set up on the day of was prompt, professional, and a breeze, and the food was fantastic. Log Rolling will always be our first choice for any celebration, thank you! -

Log Rolling went above and beyond catering our 150 person wedding! Lisa was there every step of the way and was always responsive and kind when we asked our million questions. Everyone was so much fun to work with and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Beyond that, the food itself was AMAZING! Everyone loved all of the passed appetizers, and we even had a specific server that brought food out to my husband and I as we were taking photos and getting ready for the reception. She also made my dinner plate because I was too distracted saying hi to people, she was so sweet! The entire experience was fantastic, and we are so thankful they made our day so special. The Log Cabin was the best at fulfilling all of our food needs. The food quality was amazing and the staff was so friendly. My sister and I planned a double wedding in less than 3 months. The food was wonderful! Lisa and staff was extremely nice, flexible and just excellent!
From inceptions everything seamless, we enjoyed the tasting and meal choices. We absolutely appreciate the spreadsheet provided to us, it helped us to plan our timeline, contacts and guest list.
They did an excellent job setting up or center pieces and decor items! They catered to us and the guest! You guys are amazing. The guest indicated that the food was excellent as well! I would recommend you all a thousand times over!

We loved having Log rolling as our caterers!! Lisa was extremely helpful and responsive to all of my questions throughout this process! I had a day of coordinator to help with small decor items that unfortunately could not make it. I emailed Lisa asking for help and she stated her team was able to set up those items!! This company gives you a detailed workbook to fill out prior to your event that helps ensure everything is communicated! Then the night of was truly magical. The team arrived with smiles on their faces ready to work! They set up the decorations, tables and centerpieces exactly how I envisioned them! Then there was the food!! It was unreal!! We did the stations cocktail party menu and there was just so much delicious food! Everyone was commenting how good it was!! The servers were beyond friendly and professional! I cannot recommend Log Rolling Catering enough! They truly were a big part in making our day one of the best days of our lives!! -

Wickham Park Wedding
We want to thank Lisa and her staff who organized this event just the way we wanted it too and made it hassle free and very easy going for us and our families. We chose the buffet and wow! Had plenty of options that we chose from and the food was prepared on the spot so it was very fresh and tasty. The service took care of calling up numbered tables in order, serving the groom and bride and refilling necessary items and always in hands reach with any help or need. Big Thank You to Log Rolling Catering For making our big day how we wanted it to be. It was perfect! -

We had to reschedule a year from Covid, however Lisa/Rebecca and their team were top notch the entire time and stayed in communication through delivery on our day! Our guests were very happy with the food and station options and the desert, cake, and cupcakes were incredible. We shopped around and there was nobody in the area that could match the quality, options, and service that Log Rolling/Delaney had! 10/10. -

When our planning started back in 2018 we had the pleasure of working with Lisa for our Aug 2020 wedding. She was wonderful to work with. We live in California (I'm originally from CT). I would say that planning a wedding from cross country was a challenge, but honestly we were so blessed to have the most incredible vendors and venue to work with that made our experience so easy. Lisa was willing to help us custom design a menu to fit our budget. She answered all questions we had (no matter how insignificant they may have seemed). She allowed us to postpone our wedding to Aug of 2021 when COVID hit with no questions asked. Log Rolling was incredibly supportive every step of the way. The day of we had Kaliegh on site to help with the catering team and she and the team were all so wonderful. They made sure we had everything we needed. The food was AMAZING. If you're looking for a caterer I would highly recommend them. We simply cannot put into words how grateful we were to have had such support behind our LGBTQ+ wedding day.

Before the pandemic hit, my husband and I originally planned for our wedding to be at the Log Cabin. However, our plans changed and we chose to host our wedding in a friend's backyard. We decided to hire Log Rolling to do our catering and we were absolutely pleased with the service we received and the food. Throughout the planning process, we worked with Amanda and she was incredibly sweet, helpful, and helped us bring our dream wedding to life when we switched locations. Even through the difficulties of the pandemic, she was with us every step of the way providing us great alternative solutions and various creative ideas.
The food was absolutely delicious! We had a chicken Florentine, sirloin steak, and coconut panko crusted fish for our buffet and the food was fabulous. Our cake topper was beautiful as well as the cupcakes we served to guests. We even received several positive reviews from our guests who raved about their meal! Additionally, the staff was incredibly attentive and wonderful throughout the night. We highly recommend Log Rolling and are so thankful we went with them for our big day! -

Our wedding day was amazing! Starting with the taste tasting night months prior we knew we had made a good choice. On our big day the food was all delicious and beautifully setup, their servers and crew were professional and helpful. Our head server was above and beyond, everyone friendly, accommodating, and fun. Everyone loved their open bar selections and cocktails. Our chocolate raspberry cake was everything we remembered from cake tasting night or better. Finally their crew helped us in setting up and breaking down certain decor and centerpieces, making our clean up a breeze. I can not recommend Log Rolling enough. -

I am so happy with our choice to go with log rolling catering! We got married at Wickham park and it was so perfect! Our guests raved about the quality of the food. It wasn’t your average “wedding meal” but more like a dinner from a gourmet restaurant! Lisa was amazing In the planning process and was always there to answer any questions! They set up all my decor exactly as I hoped and when I walked into the venue I had to pick my jaw up off the ground! The servers and bartenders the day of the wedding were amazing and I wanted to be their friend my the end! Do not have any doubts going with Log Rolling, I would recommend them 100 times over!!! Log Rolling was great to work with for our wedding. There were many different options for food plus it was a great value, and the cake was included-- you can't beat that! We loved being able to do the food tasting dinner ahead of time which gave us a great opportunity to try so many different dishes and include some friends with us. The service the day of our wedding was fantastic! The servers were very kind and attentive. We worked closely with Lisa in the planning stages who was very friendly, professional, accommodating, and enthusiastic. I would absolutely work with Log Rolling again and recommend them to others looking for affordable, yummy food and personable service. -

Log Rolling Catering did an amazing job at our wedding. They were really good about checking in with me periodically throughout the night and making sure everyone was happy with their meals. my guests couldn't stop raving about the food! The only con I had throughout the whole night was that they had flipped and reversed the seating chart so my wedding party and immediate family were the farthest away from us even though I had made a very thorough seating chart with indication on the dance floor and sweetheart table. Other than that everything went off without a hitch and they did an amazing job! I would definitely hire them again for an event! -

I hired Log Rolling for their food truck to do cook out food - burgers, hot dogs and fries - for our casual wedding reception. We have vegetarians and gluten free dietary constraints and I was told it would not be a problem as veggie burgers come standard and gluten free buns could be included. I love sesame noodles and really wanted them for this event and was told it was possible. The truck arrived and they had issues getting it parked. Duck tape was used to cover the veggie burger option on the sign and they were unavailable. There were no gluten free buns. The sides were not great and more than half of it was left over at the end of the night. I asked that they put it in the fridge as they departed and instead the food was left out on a picnic table in the sun. Overall, I felt very disappointed. I was refunded $100 for the 5 people who were unable to eat due to lack of veggie burgers. -

Do not use log rolling. Run.
I would not recommend Log Rolling for your wedding. Working with Lisa upfront felt great, but Log Rolling’s service day of left a LOT to be desired. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Major issues are summarized below:
1. The catering staff was not even close to finished setting up the ceremony start time. After the first look we noticed several things out of place. For example- my table numbers were ignored and random table numbers were placed on the table? My mom and I had to run around to notify the issue and get the correct table numbers to the staff prior to the ceremony. Several guests arrived and saw me before the ceremony because of this. Lisa had praised me the week prior saying how organized my instructions were so I don’t know why the staff on hand struggled so much.
2. Log rolling’s uhaul truck was parked directly behind the ceremony in view of all photos. (I have tears in my eyes thinking about this.) Thankfully my photographer was able to act quickly change her shooting strategy so the truck was not in the background of the ceremony walking in photos. I’ll attach an example picture.
3. The food was 45 minutes late. (Planned for 7:15). We were planning on eating 7:15-7:30 and taking sunset photos immediately after. At 7:45 our food still hadn’t arrived so we took photos before eating. I’m not sure what time out food arrived but it was there when we came back to the table at 8:15. The time covers on the food were great and kept our food fresh and warm - loved this. (The late food set cake cutting back by a good 40 minutes - which really was not ideal on a hot, humid day..)
4. The cake stand for our cake was ignored. It was sitting directly next to our cake in the fridge with a tag with our name on it. When we came to cut the cake and take photos with the cake the cake was slightly leaning (not the fault of log rolling b/c it was 90F and humid, but we were 40 minutes late because the food issues..) and I noticed the cake stand was missing. I asked Kelly (lead Log Rolling staff) where it was and she said she didn’t know. I asked if we could get it and she said no because the cake was leaning. I then went myself into the kitchen and carried the cake stand out myself. My husband and I were able to pick up the cake together (thank goodness!) and get the cake ready for cutting photos.
5. I was told by a friend Log Rolling staff were smoking cigarettes as guests arrived. I’m disgusted by this and wish she informed me in the moment so I could have handled this day of.Log Rolling Catering's reply:
Hi Lauren, I am very sorry tp read this review and feel it is important for us to be able to communicate our side of events. I am aware that out owner reached out to you directly in an attempt to make things right but you decided not to have that conversation with him. I am happy to address each one of these items.
1) There are standard procedures we follow when setting up for a wedding and I believe some of those procedures may have caused you to think our team was unprepared with your table numbers. It is standard for us to use our table numbers when we arrive at an event so that the staff can immediately begin setting tables while our supervisor/lead server goes through the couples personal décor items. We do not switch out to the clients table numbers until right before the event begins. Our team was fully prepared to switch the numbers out once all your items were inventoried and unpacked. It was not necessary for you or your mom to be out in the area looking for the table numbers as our team was already taking care of it. Unfortunately since you did decide to go out and your guests arrived more than 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony there were a few guests that saw you but that is never our preference.
2) We will own the fact that our truck was parked inappropriately and that has been addressed with staff. We also offered to pay to have your pictures altered which you declined.
3)Your meal start time was scheduled for 7:15 and did begin a soon as your introductions were complete. It is a coursed meal so that means that breads get served and cleared, salads get served and cleared and then entrees go down. We estimate that meal service will take a total of 1.5 hours. Meal start time does not indicate when your entrees will be served. It is impossible for a 3 course meal to be served in 15 minutes. We did cake cutting as soon as we could based on meal service time and the fact that you took sunset pictures.
4) The instructions we received regarding the cake stand was that the cake would come on it from the bakery. Our team pulled the cake out of the fridge on the stand that the bakery provided and brought it out. We were not informed that there was a second stand that was placed near the cake in the fridge. If we had been informed we happily would have gotten the stand and placed the cake on it correctly.
Again, I want to say I am very sorry to read your review and typically we do not like responding in this fashion but feel it is important that we are able to provide you with a response to your concerns. We still invite to have a direct conversation with our owner to make this right.
