We contacted Chuck about our wedding dance because I had attended events he DJ'd in the past, and he had always done an amazing job. My wife and I weren't sure about having a dance after our reception because we knew a lot of our guests weren't really the dancing type, but didn't feel right not having one, because we wanted everyone to have a fun night. Chuck did an AMAZING job, and kept the dancefloor full ALL NIGHT!! He interacted with the crowd, and mixed up his playlist until even my parents were out there dancing which I never expected to see. Planning the event went very smoothly with him. Had a few emails, phone calls, and met with him in person once to finalize some details. He was very accommodating and flexible to work with. We would not hesitate to hire him again, and 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for an event!! -

Wedding DJ
Our main request was that our dance floor remained busy all night and Chuck went above and beyond to ensure it remained PACKED ALL NIGHT!! We had the best time and we even got stopped by so many guests wondering how we managed to find such a great DJ. HIGHLY recommend!! -

Chuck understood our wants and wishes, then took steps to go above and beyond. He kept the crowd on their toes and never once let a fantastic moment just pass by. He's hilarious when you least expect and can turn the room feels up to 100 degrees when he wants everyone's attention focused on a sweet moment such as the 57 year marriage of my aunt and uncle. Chuck made my wife feel gorgeous beyond belief by focusing the attention on the way her smile radiated and how her gorgeous presence was enhanced with a queen's crown. We were left in awe of his adept DJ and master of ceremonies skills because Chuck moved everything along while making it all extremely fun. I've worked with Chuck in other areas of my life and I found myself bowled over by his attention to detail and his memory in bringing to life each and every song, every detail, and every fantastic moment of our celebration. Thank you for making the experience unforgettable! Would I recommend Chuck and Locomotion DJ Services again? You better believe it! We couldn't be happier with our choice and please, if you care at all about the perfect celebration with every detail covered, then Chuck is without a doubt your last stop on the Locomotion DJ tour! -

Best night ever!
Chuck kept our dance floor packed and guests engaged the entire night!! He also was very attentive to our desires for the night. We had so many guests not wanting to leave the dance floor at the end of the night. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! -

Wedding Day
We absolutely loved having Chuck as our dj! One of the best things was the amount of time and effort he put into making our day absolutely perfect he was there before the ceremony, had the music while guests were arriving, during the ceremony, and of course the reception and the best part was the dance! Our dance floor was never empty he kept everybody involved. We had a wonderful scavenger hunt and auction and couldn't be more happy with some of the fun things he did throughout the night. It was perfect and although it was a 100 degrees he never once let that affect his enthusiasm! Loved the costumes! I highly recommend choosing him for your DJ. -

Chuck was an amazing DJ. He made our day that much more special and was glad to have him there on our day. The music we picked out was played perfectly at our ceremony and reception. He had a ton of great ideas and suggestions that helped us navigate the day. My favorite was the “who does it best” game and he really knows how to play to a crowd. There was not a thing I would change that Chuck did that day and it was a relief to not have to worry about the DJ during our wedding. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of DJ services. He can accommodate whatever and make sure the DJ services are taken care of for you on your day. -

DJ Chuck Blum was one of our favorite and most raved about vendors. He was so accommodating with COVID and so many restrictions that were put into place within the planning of our special day. We met with Chuck before our wedding day and he had many recommendations and was very professional. He also was the DJ at my sister’s wedding so we knew he could throw a fun party.
We had moved our wedding ceremony to outdoors and asked chuck about a month before our wedding day if he could provide music for the ceremony, he had no issues and made our ceremony a breeze! He also called a couple days before the wedding to confirm everything with us and it was so reassuring knowing everything was in good hands. He also took candid photos throughout the night and posted them to his FB page that was fun to look through and reminisce on!
We had so many things that made our dance stand out against other weddings thanks to Chuck. For example, he had a scavenger hunt for the wedding party that had the whole crowd right in his hands. Our siblings also did a surprise song for us and Chuck was very flexible with his schedule so that they could add their special detail to our wedding. Chuck deserves all the recognition and five stars he can get, because he is truly THAT GOOD. He kept the dance floor moving the whole night and had some fun costumes that the kids and adults’ thought were hilarious (and are still talking about)!
He truly enjoys what he does, and his work shows for it. Book DJ Chuck Blum if you want your day to go flawlessly (in our case, start to finish)! -

When my fiancé and I started planning our wedding we both knew of one DJ we wanted to hire, DJ Chuck. We saw him the summer before at another wedding we attended and loved how he kept the crowd on the dance floor, and his professionalism. We couldn’t have been happier having him DJ our wedding. He was so kind and personable! Highly recommend him for your event!
