Traci is the BEST!!!!

Traci was my life saver the day of my wedding. She knew exactly what to do and pointed us in the right direction every step of the way to ensure we got beautiful, tear inducing photos! I am so unbelievably happy with our wedding photos, I am going to have a very difficult time choosing which ones to put on our walls!! Love her!!!!!!

Perfection!

Traci is really a pleasure to work with. She really captured our personalities during our engagement shoot and when it came to wedding photos the only word I have is WOW. Everything turned out so beautiful and the pictures really tell a story. Something we will have to be able to enjoy forever! She really is the best at what she does!

First, we just have to say that if you’re still hunting for the perfect photographer, stop here! Traci and her team were absolutely amazing. We could not have asked for a better photographer. They were professional. They were kind. They were fun. They took the best pictures. We could not have been happier with their work. They truly captured our day and no amount of thanks could begin to thank them for the beautiful memories. Wow! Wow! Wow!!!

We used Traci and JD for my daughter's wedding. We all enjoyed working with them both. Traci was professional, but light-hearted. JD, the second shooter, was everywhere and I mean that in a good way. The engagement pictures Traci shot were amazing. Can't wait to see the wedding photos. I know they will be great! Worth every penny!

Traci is absolutely amazing!! My husband and I knew Traci from a home school co-op where she taught so already knowing her bright personality and amazing talent, we had no worries hiring her as our photographer. Having great pictures was at the top of my wedding wishlist and it was amazing being able to let Traci handle everything, knowing they would be amazing. She will sit down with you and listen to the style of the wedding/pictures, specific shots you'd like to get, scheduling, and everything in between. She is extremely professional, but also laid back and fun. We are thrilled with our pictures and our experience with Traci. Definitely would recommend!!

Traci and JD (her husband and our second shooter) were great! Traci really went the extra mile to get great shots. After seeing Traci sanding on a wobbly little ladder over a creek with all of her expensive equipment, one of my bridesmaids (who is in the wedding industry), said "she is worth whatever you paid for her." (She reiterated that after seeing the gorgeous photos). Traci was also a pleasure to work with and became a great friend!

We found Traci as a recommendation from one of my mom's friends. From the very beginning, Traci was super responsive to my emails and questions. She was very flexible with working with us to find a time to do our engagement shoot (free with the package we purchased) since we lived out of town. We were so impressed with our gorgeous engagement pictures and how photogenic she made us look. Traci really has a great eye for details and for capturing special moments. She gave great direction on how to pose and in a way that our pictures looked natural and not forced.

On the day of our wedding, Traci (and her second photographer) captured our day so perfectly. Our wedding was at Meadowlark Gardens on a sunny April day and Traci was able to capture the beauty of the outdoors and nature in many of her photos. Traci was so easy to work with and extremely organized, which was reassuring on a stressful busy day. All of our guests were telling us what great direction she gave when taking the group photos. We recently got our hard copy wedding album and we are beyond pleased. Everyone commented how gorgeous, professional and artistic the photos were. The album was done in a photojournalism style telling the story of our day: getting ready photos, First Look photos, ceremony, reception and dancing. She used a mix of black and white and color photos. (The black and white ones were our favorites)! She also ended the album with a stunning outdoor nighttime portrait of us. I trusted Traci to choose most of the photos for our album because she has such a great eye!

I would highly recommend using Traci for your engagement and wedding photos!

I had modeled for Traci several years prior to my wedding, and knew there was no one else I would trust to take perfect photos of my big day! Not only are her pictures beautiful, but she is incredibly professional and will do whatever she can to ensure she meets your needs. She got our pictures back to us in less than a month, gifted us with a beautiful photo album, and even offered us a special complimentary engagement session. I highly recommend trusting Traci to photograph your wedding.

Working with Traci was a dream. She was enthusiastic about our wedding, very engaged and asked lots of questions to understand our vision and was a great calming force the day of to work with.

She was organized, timely and worked seamlessly with her second shooter. What I really appreciated where the pricing options provided and that she really respected the budget we had to work with. She didn't try to push us to buy extras. Of all the photographers I looked at, she was the best price for the quality I wanted. Others charged more than double for half of what you get in the wedding packages.

I cannot recommend Traci highly enough!

Traci was the only photographer I contacted, but she went above and beyond every expectation I had for a photographer. From our first meeting to our last, Traci was professional and extremely friendly. Her warm demeanor makes her super easy to work with. My husband and I hate to be in front of the camera, but Traci made us laugh and feel comfortable. Not to mention, her photography skills are top notch. I love every photo she took from our wedding! The package we got included an engagement session, and Traci went out of her way to travel for a weekend to take pictures at our college, Virginia Tech. She is also punctual, replies to your emails within a day, and most importantly, stuck to the strict timeline of our big day. Our guests were impressed with her rapid fire shots of our family formals (we were done in 20 minutes!!) and how inconspicuous she and her assistant were during the ceremony and reception. Overall, I highly recommend her as a photographer!

From the first meeting and the phone call that followed I knew that we had found our photographer.

Traci was super energetic, fun to work with and totally invisible while we exchanged our vowels, capturing our most cherished of moments. During the photo shoot that occurred after our ceremony Traci was only to willing to work in with all requests while also advising on the best shooting location for the given lighting situation.

We would be happy to recommend and work with her in the future.

Traci was absolutley amazing!! She was with us every step of the way leading up to the wedding as well as on the big day. On our wedding day, she was very professional and organized though all the chaos that surrounds every wedding. I really enjoyed working with her, and the photos both her and Nickoli took are absolutely stunning! We are so happy with everything and can't thank Traci enough for the beautiful photos to remember our wedding day.

Traci and her assistant were AWESOME! I had originally gone with another photographer for our wedding day, but decided last minute that I wanted Traci instead. I was so happy that she was available! She showed up a few minutes early, ready to shoot on the wedding day. She is efficient, professional, friendly, and super talented at what she does! I highly recommend Traci J. Traci was absolutely fantastic! Here style of photography was exactly what we were looking for—lots of candid shots that told the story of the day in addition to great conventionally staged pictures. But it was her journalistic approach is what really made the photos special and the ability to organically capture great moments throughout the day.

During the entire process, every interaction we had with Traci was top notch from the first meeting to getting the final photos. At our first meeting she immediately got what we were looking for; something more casual, somewhat unconventional but not gimmicky or twee. Also, we needed for more traditional pictures for family members. Traci always took our suggestions on board and listened, never once imposing her own point of view or style, but rather hearing what we wanted and then bringing great ideas to make things even better.

Overall, she was incredibly fun to work with and her work was flawless. We will definitely be using Traci again for family pictures.

Traci is sweet as sugar, calm as a cucumber, and a brilliant photographer to boot! She saved the day with super glue from a bridal kit when a strap broke on one of my bridesmaid's shoes, got amazing shots of the ceremony (without distraction...Raved the officiant!), and she was simply adored by our guest. Additionally, we had a particularly dark reception venue. (I wanted lots of candle light.) Traci made our photos pop in the darkness! She even photo shopped out cars from outdoor shots at my request. I would highly recommend choosing Traci for your wedding... I plan on booking her for ALL my life events (baby??new house?? dog!!)

Passionate, easy-going, and dedicated is how I can explain our time with Traci. She perfectly matched my wife and I's personalities, and I knew immediately this was going to be an amazing experience. Traci went out of her way to pick an engagement photo shoot location that was right up our alley, related to art and art history in D.C. It is those considerate details that made me feel so comfortable with her.

So many people have told us our photos are the most beautiful they have ever seen. All because of Traci's hard work and skills. This was one of the most important parts of the wedding, and I can truly say her photographs blew me away when I saw them.

The moment I knew she loved her job was when she and the second shooter photographer were going back and forth on who will take the next photo. They were both so excited to be working, and that spoke to me. Her passion for her craft truly hit me at that moment. She even loaded up photos on an iPad and placed them on our cookie table display so everyone could take a sneak peak! Family and friends loved it and were so impressed, as were my wife and I.

You will not regret working with Traci and her genuine, down-to-earth personality.

As the Mother of the Bride, I was very happy with the quality and variety of my daughters wedding photos. Tracy puts a lot of artistry and imagination into her work. Also, last minute request were not a problem. We barely saw Tracy as she photographed the ceremony. She was unintrusive. Best of all, photos were ready for viewing on line the next day.

When we met Traci, We instantly fell in love with her journalistic style, her coloring and angles, the warm feelings she was able to convey through simple, but beautiful, photographs.

When the Big Day came, Traci was a ninja – a cheerful, kind, ninja that just let our day happen and still captured all of the big (and small) moments that occurred throughout it. From everything to the bridal (and groom) parties getting prepared, to the main parts of the ceremony, to the last dance of the night – it was all depicted in our photographs. However, one of the most important parts – she was unobtrusive and never interjected with the parts of the ceremony that you want to feel sacred, even though you want them saved for posterity. She was never “That Photographer” that got in the way of the precious moments of the day while not taking away from the real-life joy that was happening.

Traci found the beautiful details of the day – striking blue Manolo Blahniks, soft British lace, sugar flowers, delicate hydrangeas and shining military swords. She also found those details that you can’t stage – the look of realization from the father of the bride when The Moment has arrived, the feeling among girlfriends when you need just one more pair of hands to tie up a dress, the comradery among “how many men does it take to figure out a pocket square,” the sheer joy of flower girls twirling on the dance floor. Her photos from our entire wedding day – from the preparation to the ceremony, the group shots afterward, and the reception – they perfectly told the story of the most important day of our lives.

In the months following our wedding, we continue to look back at our photos and see our story captured through Traci’s talent, her attention to detail, her preparedness, her pure enthusiasm for getting to know us and conveying that through her photos. In short, hire Traci to shoot any special moment you want to remember. You won’t just get photos – you will get your life story.

I absolutely LOVED working with Traci on both our engagement photos and wedding day photos. She was on time, accommodating in every way and her photographs are amazing. I was so excited to get our pictures I could barely contain myself and when I saw them I was even more impressed with them than I expected to be. Traci captured so many moments from every part of our wedding that I feel like I didn't miss anything that entire day when I look at them. Her and her 2nd shooter worked so well with everyone and even helped me throughout the day with making sure people were in the right places at the right times as I didn't have a planner or day-of coordinator, I did everything myself! Traci went above and beyond on our wedding day and spent the entire day with us up until the very last person left our venue and I couldn't be more thankful that she was there. I love her so much and I would not only recommend her to everyone, I'm planning on using her for future family portraits, anniversary pictures, baby pictures, everything!

Traci Brooks was unbelievable to work with. From our initial meeting, we knew that she would be the perfect person to photograph our big day. She was so easy to work with and took time to get to know us as and who we are. Our engagement photos captured our personalities perfectly and were so beautiful. Our wedding day was filled with professionalism and fun. She knew when to direct people and when to let the moment happen. We met Tracy through a friend at work and instantly fell in love with her personality. Immediately ,we agreed that we had to have both our engagement and wedding pictures done and everyone keeps telling us how beautiful they turned out. She was kind enough to share her ideas when we were discussing engagement pictures, and can't thank her enough for her professionalism and talent.
