Our cake was AMAZING!

Lochel’s made it so easy to discuss and decide on the type of cake/donuts we wanted for our wedding day! The was delicious and so were the donuts. All our guests talked about them! They also gave us a voucher for a one year anniversary cake instead of us taking it and freezing it which I thought was awesome!! I would absolutely recommend Lochel’s to anyone.

Lochel's Bakery
Lochel's is my husband's favorite bakery, so when we were able to use them for our wedding, he was thrilled and there was no other place even considered.
The tasting was so much fun. They give you a number of samples to try, and it was so hard to pick just two for our cake. We ultimately went with simple layers of chocolate or vanilla. Their designs are beautiful and they will tailor your design to what you envision for your big day. We blended two cakes that we saw in their book, and it was incredibly beautiful. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cake at our reception. Bonus is they give you a coupon to redeem for a fresh one year anniversary cake to celebrate.

Cupcakes for Our Wedding
Lochels was a preferred vendor with our venue, and their cost was included in our per person cost through the venue. We asked for cupcakes and a small round cake for cutting during the reception and that's exactly what we got! We had 5 cupcake flavors and I think our guests really enjoyed them! The cake was funfetti and although we were only able to get our one or two bites in, it was delicious. I have it saved in the fridge to enjoy after we get back from our honeymoon, and I cant wait. They also included a 1 year anniversary cake to enioy later so there would be no need to freeze the "top" of our cake, which I thought was really nice! Overall a great job! Thanks Lochels!

I loved Lochel's Bakery!!! My cake came out perfectly!!! It is so BEAUTIFUL!!! I love looking back at photos of the cake, it just makes me want to order another one!!! I really had a vision for my cake and they just went above and beyond to get that vision right!! I had a four tier wedding cake and had a particular design I wanted on each tier of the cake as well as roses cascading down the front of it. They really put hard work into decorating it just like I asked and getting the roses just right! Everything I wanted was included in my package with Spring Mill Manor and it was super reasonable!! Would book them again 100%

Lochel's was included in our wedding package, and that worried me at first, since I wouldn't be able to try a variety of places before making a decision. But, it ended up being a wonderful experience. They provided a wide variety of cake to try, and binders and binders full of designs that we could choose from. I only ever had to call once to make an appointment to taste, go to the tasting, and then I never had to do anything again. They took care of everything. It was wonderful, and our cake was adorable.

They even made a custom ice cream cake for my husband with his favorite bubble gum ice cream!! He was beyond happy!!! "The Best Wedding Cake I've Ever Had!"
We used Lochel's bakery for our wedding cake and we were blown away! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating when we went for our tasting, and the cake was delicious! When it came time to pick a design they had so many beautiful cakes to choose from it was such a difficult decision! We decided to go with the "Spring Vines" and we were able to customize it to change the detailing to match our colors, and the top to match my bouquet! We got so many compliments on our cake at our wedding, we even heard a few times it was the best wedding cake they had ever had.

Fantastic bakery!
Lochel’s Bakery was fantastic! From the initial consult to our wedding day, Lochel’s absolutely nailed our wedding cake. We ended up going with a 3-tier cake consisting of vanilla and mocha chocolate chip cake with a buttercream frosting. It was delicious! Other than our topper, our guests ate every single piece of cake and would have licked the board clean if they could have. In addition, Lochel’s also provided helpful tips for freezing our cake topper and will provide an additional cake at our first anniversary. We will be making Lochel’s a regular part of any all family gatherings for years to come.

Planning a wedding is very stressful. When I was in the midst of the process and super overwhelmed by all of the millions of little details that I had to worry about, I kept being told that people would ultimately only care about two things - the food and the DJ. Most wedding cakes that I have had in the past from other weddings have been "meh" at best. So admittedly, I was worried about how ours would turn out. I was relieved to find out that Lochel's Bakery is well-known. They came highly recommended by multiple people. I was told that they even had a store at Oxford Valley Mall. Since their business is so successful, it has to be for a reason, right? Their staff was professional right from the start. During our meeting they had plenty of samples of their cake flavors for us to try, as well as binders full of cake designs to choose from. At our wedding, the cake was picture perfect. Absolutely beautiful. Several people came up to us to tell us how absolutely delicious the cake was. I was relieved and thrilled. Choose Lochel's, you won't regret it!

We had the pleasure of using Lochel's Bakery through our venue, Flourtown Country Club. Lochel's has the cutest cake tasting space and Maura is so sweet to work with! We went with the mocha chip cake flavor with buttercream icing and it was a literal dream come true. Our guests even commented on how delicious it was! I love that Lochel's gives you a free anniversary cake so you don't have to worry about saving your cake from your wedding day for an entire year. Our cake was flawless & delicious and I would recommend Lochel's Bakery for every occasion, especially weddings!

I ate the remainder of our cake for a week after the wedding. I did not even save us a piece for our first anniversary because the cake was THAT delicious. I consider myself to be a bit picky when it comes to cakes - can't be too sweet, too dry, etc. - this cake was perfection. Our wedding package included three bakeries we could use for our special night. Lochel's was the best, hands down. We chose a very simple cake and used a single rose as a decoration. It was simple and elegant. We worked with Maura to ensure we had the perfect cake - she was kind, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions! (Who would have thought that navy icing would turn our guests mouths into a dark, hot mess?! Not me!) Their baked goods are simply the best. There's a reason Lochel's is very highly rated - they're simply the best.

I was absolutely IN LOVE with my wedding cake! It was exactly how I envisioned it! The lemon and raspberry pound cake with buttercream icing was delicious! I also had my florist drop off flowers for them to place on top and they did a beautiful job! All my guests were talking about the cake the next day! Highly recommend!!! The best part! They work with my venue "The Warrington" so the payment of my cake was already included in the price of my venue!

Lochel's Bakery was the perfect fit for our wedding cake! Our venue included a cake from Lochel's in our wedding package. It was such an easy process to set up a consultation appointment. At the appointment, we were able to see different styles and try different flavors. We very much appreciated the help in determining a simple, yet elegant design to fit our style. I love that when our guest count dropped, they changed our cake size to better fit our needs. We had so many guests comment on how beautiful our cake was and how delicious it tasted! Lochel's Bakery even includes a coupon for a free cake on your first anniversary!!!

Lochel’s Bakery works with Spring Mill Manor where we were married in June. The people that worked there were super friendly and patient with me as I tried to figure out what type of design and flavors I wanted for the cake.
The cake turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined! I was in awe. Throughout the whole night, and the next couple of days, our wedding guests were coming up to us telling us how delicious the cake was! I was very happy to recieve these types of compliments. I would highly reccommend using this bakery for any event!

It was an awesome experience. Every wedding I have been to there was always so much cake left over, but we had four pieces left. Unfortuneately I did not get to try the raspberry.

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. We missed our appointment and they were able to reschedule us outside of normal hours due to our rigid schedule. Lots of options and they were great at explaining them so that we could make the best decision for our wedding. And the cake was DELICIOUS!!

My fiance and I visited 3 bakeries when deciding on who to use for our wedding cake, Lochel's blew them all away. When we first arrived for our tasting, we were taken into a private and quiet room for the tasting. This was already an upgrade from the 2 previous bakeries who stuck us at a small table in the middle of their shop. But what really sold us was the options, and the cake itself. There were so many different design options to choose from as well as cake and icing flavors. And the cake it self was AMAZING!!!! Do yourself a favor and go to Lochel's first, don't waste your time with anyone else!

Lochel's was the bakery that was included in my wedding package at Flourtown Country Club. When my husband and I went in for the tasting they were awesome and helped guide us with what would look best with our color scheme and alerted us to how certain things would come out. We gave them a few pictures of what we were looking for in our cake and they definitely delivered. The cake tasted and looked amazing and was exactly what I was looking for!

Our cake was amazing and exactly what I wanted! Everyone loved it and it looked beautiful. They allow you to take the top home for yourself, but also give you a small free cake on your one year anniversary. I can't wait! I would recommend this bakery to everyone.

Hi! My wedding was April 28, 2018. We got our wedding cake there at it was a hit! Everyone was talking about how delicious the cake was and how beautiful it looked! My mother also got the cake for my bridal shower at Lochels and the whole cake went so quickly, I barely got a chance to look at it! Lochel's provided the cake via my venue. We went for a tasting and the way that they laid out the cake was adorable. They had plenty of options to choose from. They transported the cake to the venue the day of and did everything I had asked. We got chocolate chip layers and pumpkin spice layers. The pumpkin spice was a hit!

We ordered a 2 tier cake for our wedding in Huntingdon, pa. That is almost 4 hours from the bakery. The cake made it with not a scratch on it and it was beautiful! Exactly what we wanted and it tasted amazing, I would definitely recommend log held for all your bakery needs!!

Our wedding was on 8/19/17 and our whole day was beautiful but everyone said how great the cake was! We loved the design of the cake and how Lochel's combined various styles from multiple cake design to create our amazing wedding cake. I am so happy we went with Lochel's for our wedding cake. They were the second baker we met with and we had a great experience. I didn't have a good idea of what I wanted, and they gave us helpful information and showed us lots of samples. They also didn't pressure us and gave us time alone to discuss the different designs and to discuss which of the cakes that we had tasted we liked best. In the end, our cake look exactly how I wanted, and tasted amazing! I continue to get compliments about how good it was. I also think it's awesome that they give you a coupon to get a fresh anniversary cake. I already can't wait to eat it!

Lochel's Bakery made the cake for our September 2016 wedding. The consultation was great; they were so easy to work with and made our abstract ideas come to life. The pumpkin pound cake was delicious and perfect for Fall. The cake was included in the package through our venue so I'm not sure about pricing, but everything else was great and highly recommended!
