Very genuine person

Pastor Eli was exceptional, he is very sincere and sweet. He did the ceremony in Spanish and English and was a true professional. It was a beautiful ceremony and he was a huge part if that. I would definitely recommend him.

Rev. Maldonado was such a blessing. He guided us thru the entire process of getting married. We went to Puerto Rico from Oklahoma to get married. We would have been so lost had he not helped us. The ceremony was elegant and he was extremely responsive. Highly recommend!!!!!

Awesome!!!!

I want to say it was blessing to have Pastor Eli Maldonado officiant our wedding. Mark and I contacted him in Jan 2,2019 about our wedding. Pastor Eli was very attentive to our request and needs. We had the opportunity to meet him when we visited Puerto Rico to finalized our other wedding Contracts. When we meet with him we stood a little over 2 hours with him just talking about us and our wedding. Pastor Eli explained everything we needed and how every wedding he perform is different and designed for each couple. He walked us thru every step of the way also overlooked our paperwork.. He always available to us by email or text or by phone.

Eli was beyond amazing! It was an honor for us to have found him and letting him marry us. Extremely helpful and caring

We haven't even had our wedding yet, but Pastor Eli has been the most helpful individual we've contacted in Puerto Rico. He is always quick to respond and very eager to help answer any questions. I am so happy we found him, and looking forward to actually meeting him in person and being an important part of our special day!

Pastor Eli did such an awesome job from beginning to end. He was very knowledgeable about the process and documentation that was required to be married in Puerto Rico. He displayed professionalism and great character. He brought us to the state building and was there for every step of the way including translating for us. He made to ceremony smooth and in good timing. I don't know what we would have done without Pastor Eli.

Truly Amazing

Pastor Eli was spectacular! He was friendly, professional, punctual, and dedicated to your Wedding day from start to finish. We had a destination wedding in San Juan, Puerto and we are from the Midwest. Pastor Eli was very responsive and helpful in every way going through the process of collecting our Wedding documents, putting together our ceremony, and held our hand through the process once we arrived in Puerto Rico. He helped us have the most perfect and beautiful Wedding ceremony we could have asked for. We recommend Eli 100% for your special day and suggest having him assist with the legal process hands down if you are not familiar with Puerto Rico; we can't tell you how glad we were to have had selected that option!

Amazing!!!

Words fall short to say how wonderful Eli was at officiating one of the most special days in our lives, from beginning to end we felt comfortable, understood, appreciated and valued, he went above and beyond in helping both of our families communicate and understand every single part of our wedding ceremony, and even my Dad's speech in Spanish (: we feel fortunate to have had such a wonderful experience and will recommend Eli any day to any wedding, weather it is religious or semi religious or new age or a combination of both, he will make sure it is amazing!, Thank you!!!!!!

Beautiful Ceremony on the Beach

Eli made my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal special. It was a beautiful ceremony! We were in San Juan for a few hours only from a cruise, but everything turned out perfect. Pastor Eli the Best for your local or destination wedding!!@

Pastor Eli was amazing our's was a local wedding recent transplants to the Island. Unaware of laws/requirements Pastor Eli simplified the process his guidance made it possible for us to obtain the required documents and move through the process timely and effortless. To top it off we had a last minute change of venue Pastor Eli was super responsive, flexible, responsive and understanding. He is thoughtful, attentive and an excellent communicator. The Liturgy (book) he prepared for us is a priceless and timeless piece capturing our vows and ceremony. Pastor Eli is the Best, a friend forever. Pastor Elí delivers off the chart services - he’s thorough, thoughtful, charismatic, knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband and I got married on 7/23/2018 with the help of pastor Elí. We contacted him a little under a month before we officially eloped and he pastor Elí provided us with a seamless process and walked us though all the necessary steps to be married in PR as we were coming from NY. We had dinner with him the night before and we were privileged enough to receive some first hand tips on having a successful marriage. He even escorted us to and from the location where we needed to obtain the marriage certificate and made sure we were thoroughly prepared prior to our arrival. The day of the wedding was nothing but magical - pastor Elí even helped my husband and his best man scatter the rose petals on the beach and prepare the area where we were conducting the ceremony. However, pastor Elí’s expertise extended beyond our wedding day. We encountered an unforeseen reaction from our family who knew we were (eventually) getting married but didn’t expect us to elope. My husband and I were distraught by my family’s backlash and we sought counseling and guidence from pastor Elí. To our surprise pastor Elí offered to speak to my parents in hopes of calming them down before we retuned to NY. He also imparted valuable knowledge on us, yet again. We honestly benefited not only an amazing ceremony and seamless
process leading up to the wedding, but also gained a friend who we will always regard highly.

Pastor Eli is such a wonderful person and a great officiant. My husband and I got married at the Copamarina in Guanica PR. Pastor Eli was more than happy to help us through the process of getting married in Puerto Rico. He was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that we had the wedding of our dreams! He met with us earlier in Puerto Rico, when we first arrived to get a better idea of who we are and what our hopes were for the wedding. He was so helpful, so extremely down to earth, and a true God send for a truly magical day! Pastor Eli was very professional and helpful from the moment we first met until the end of the ceremony. He made the process for obtaining the marriage license very smooth, we honestly couldn't have done it without him. My husband is Puerto Rican and even he said he wouldn't have know what to do or where to go without him. He made sure we were comfortable and familiar with the process and that all of our questions were answered. The ceremony was awesome and he was able to speak in Spanish and English for both sides of our family. Thanks for everything again, Eli!

Pastor Eli was amazing! He was so personable and we know that if we were to do it all over again, we would choose him a million times! Before the wedding we did Facetime and Facebook video calls to get to know each other and he was so sweet! There are some people who you know are just good people, and he is one of them.

He made our wedding one to remember and even made us a beautiful book of his liturgy to take home with us! We will always love him for making our day so special.

Pastor Eli was totally amazing and made our day wonderful. We were getting marry in September before the hurricane came and had to postpone our wedding till January, therefore had to get another pastor in the last minute. We contacted Pastor Eli and explain our dilemma and he didn't hesitate to say he would marry us. He was so helpful and made the process so easy. We felt so comfortable with him and you can tell how passionate he feels about what he does. We were so blessed to have found him and was excited he was a part of our wedding day. Pastor Elí was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I eloped in Puerto Rico and wanted a simple, yet meaningful ceremony beachside. Pastor Elí was immediately responsive to my request and was available throughout the planning process to answer any questions we had and make the process as simple as possible. He made the ceremony feel very intimate and personal even though we just met him that day. He was punctual and well spoken with just the right amount of enthusiasm. Pastor Eli was so punctual and flexible throughout the entire process. We booked Pastor Eli with less than a month to our wedding date. We were actually going to have to cancel because my father stepped in and said he wanted to officiant and Pastor Eli came to rehearsal to give him pointers! My father became overwhelmed with emotion and Pastor Eli stepped right back in to officiat and allowed my father to give a speech during the ceremony. What I appreciate most was his punctuality. He always emailed back I'm a timely matter and have stellar advice. One of the nicest people I've ever had to deal with when it came to wedding vendors. Please consider pastor Eli!!!

The day after our wedding we asked him if he can serve our grand mothers farewell ceremony and he was very open for it..

Pastor Eli went above and beyond for us. He knew everything and was very knowledgeable about where to do the ceremony. He even drive us around and provided us with a tour of the city when the ceremony was over. Our cruise docked 3.5 hours after expected and Pastor Eli was more than accommodating. If you are looking to get married or renew your vows definitely go with Pastor Eli for an experience of a lifetime.

Pastor Eli is not only a wonderful wedding officiant, but a very good friend and caring person. We easily connected with the pastor as he took the time to get to know us, and genuinely cared for us. We feel as we've made a connection with him that will last going forward, and recommend him to anyone wanting to get married in Puerto Rico, or anywhere for that matter. Pastor Eli took the time to take us everywhere we needed to go for our marriage license, and gave us wonderful support the day of the wedding. Pastor Eli is absolutely amazing. I was planning a destination wedding in very short time. He assisted me at every step. He communicated with me frequently and answered all of my questions. We met up a few days before the wedding and he assisted and guided us through the marriage license process. He was not only helpful but professional, friendly and prompt. Pastor Eli Maldonado was a godsend! His calm gentle nature and wise words were well received and appreciated. Pastor Eli felt like a favorite uncle and we only had correspondence regarding the wedding planning! Pastor Eli is such a sincere, kind and helpful man. We decided early on in our arrangements to have his assistance with filing the tax and paperwork, and what a great decision! Thank goodness! We live in Puerto Rico and wanted to get married at our favorite hiking spot in the central karst mountains along with 2 witnesses, our son and our black lab. We wanted the day to be simple but intimate.

We called Pastor Eli 2 months before we wanted to get married and since we are locals, he asked to personally meet us. That was a little scary to me because I thought it was going to be about the possibility of becoming a member of his church or any number of things. When he sat with Cathy and I, he was kind, engaging and caring. He asked about our background, how we met and what our goals in life were. All of this was only to get to know us, encourage us and to build the beautiful verbiage he used for the ceremony.

I loved his approach, kindness and candor.

Since we own a busy vacation rental business in P.R., scheduling was a bit challenging but Pastor Eli always communicated very well the way we needed (whatsapp and/or text messages). Getting together or coordinating was seamless.

When we explained where we were going to have the ceremony, Pastor didn't flinch. He was up for the challenging hike to the top of the mountain in Angeles, Utuado.

The day was beautiful, the hike was gruesome and the ceremony was angelic. Pastor Eli chose words to help us enjoy our ceremony that will resonate in our hearts and minds for years to come. I am by far not poetic but he surely is gifted by God with with the gift of words. Pastor was able to grab the essence of who we are, what we do and what we will do in the future and spoke a blessing over our marriage and life that we refer back to often.

We thank Pastor Eli for taking time from his schedule to officiate our ceremony and bless us with his presence and words.

I cannot recommend Pastor Eli enough. This man took personal interest in our great day, and we felt truly taken care of through the whole process. It can be daunting to understand all the paperwork and things to take care of, and Pastor Eli walked us through it in such a way that we had no worries about it at all. He took a personal interest in our relationship and delivered a ceremony that made us feel like we knew him for years. Pastor Elí Maldonado is a pleasure to work with. We had a destination wedding and were unfamiliar with the process to get the paperwork filed for our marriage. Pastor Elí informed us of everything, picked us up from our Air BnB, took us to the offices to apply for our marriage license and get everything in order. He even gave us suggestions on places to eat during our stay - which we followed and were not disappointed! On the day of our wedding, Pastor Elí allowed my husband's cousin to officiate and was there to make sure that we signed the papers and make the wedding legal. He then took the paperwork to the proper office for filing and let us know things were all set via photo. It takes 10 days to order a copy of the marriage certificate (plus postage time) but I was able to use the photo he provided to update my healthcare benefits (adding my husband and changing my name) immediately. This was super helpful because the clock
Starts ticking from the day of the wedding (30 days to make changes to benefits) and had we waited for the official copy from Vital Check, we would've nearly missed the window of opportunity. Long story short, Pastor Elí Maldonado is a great choice for your special day. He takes the guesswork out of the entire process, is very kind and accommodating, and gets the job done according to your vision for your ceremony. Do yourself a favor and hire him before he's booked up!

If you want someone with a desire to make getting married such a beautiful and fluid process then call Pastor Eli. He goes out of his way to help with the entire process, and takes his time to get to know the couple to make their big day as special as possible. Pastor Eli was very professional and helpful! He provided us with valuable information about the requirements to get married in Puerto Rico and made himself available to help us every step of the way. Pastor Eli is the best of the best! This man made everything so seemingly easy for my husband and I. He went above and beyond for us in making sure that all our paperwork was completed for our destination wedding. We started a little late in the game, with only about a month out from the wedding when finally being able to communicate because of our time difference, but it was like talking to a friend and hashing out all the details was a breeze! Our ceremony was absolutely stunning. My family as well as my husband's family was blown away with Pastor Eli's words and his overall presence during our big day. He made everything come together in such as easy and relaxed way. I couldn't have asked for better, because there isn't any! Pastor Eli was the best!! He was so very helpful. He explained everything to my husband and I, down to every little detail when it came to purchasing our marriage licenses. He even offers to pick you up and take you where you need to go for the license processing Which made everything much easier. The ceremony was beautiful and well spoken. Pastor Eli is an amazing and caring person. He's the best!!!! My husband and I renewed our vows recently in Isla Verde. Pastor Eli is the best!! We planned our destination wedding without a wedding planner (which was nerve wrecking but we survived). Pastor met with us the day we arrived in Puerto Rico to see the wedding location and give him necessary paperwork. Wedding Day - Ceremony = Perfection and we enjoyed having you around for the Reception. Before we left the island we met again to receive our certificate and the beautiful packet Pastor made for us. We had a beach front wedding with about 25 of our nearest and dearest. Pastor Eli - I was told you also played your harmonica on the beach for Aunt Karen. Thank you a million times over!!!

Pastor Eli was absolutely fabulous. He always took the time to answer questions, help with the plans, suggested valuable ideas, and showed that he really cared. We were so blessed to have chosen Eli to be our Wedding Officent. He is a very genuine person full of love for GOD. He took the time to get to know us. Unfortunately, the rain came unexpectedly in the middle of our beach ceremony, he was able to turn something semi devastating into something really beautiful. He then even offed to redue the ceremony on a another day. He also kept in touch with us throughout our week in Puerto Rico and gave us great tips on places to see while we were here. Pastor Eli Maldonado was instrumental in helping us with the marriage paperwork in Puerto Rico as some of the paper we had brought from the U.S. was not the proper one and spent two days with him going to Gov't agency's tying every thing together.He is very caring man and excellent minister as the ceremony itself went off without a hitch.I would highly recommend Eli Maldonado as your minister for Puerto Rico destination weddings !

Pastor Elí Maldonado has a unique gift for making any event very special and unforgettable. We felt the presence of the LORD during our wedding ritual. The Spirit of the LORD was certainly with us that day. Our guests were of a variety of Christian and non-Christian religions and denominations. Some of our friends don't believe in God. However, all were moved (to tears) by Pastor Elí's words and the format he created for us.We did not have a rehearsal, Nevertheless, the ceremony had an impeccable flow. Our guests were delighted.The bride did not request a "wedding" as such and thought that it was going to be just like any civil ceremony. We had A WEDDING, An inspirational event, a memorable experience. It was unique.Some of the guests have requested information about Pastor Elí and are planning to call him for their events.He also has excellent pastoral abilities. He was present for us during the deaths of our most loved persons in the last three years. We are hoping he will continue to serve as our spiritual guide.

Pastor Eli was wonderful. We planned our wedding fairly quickly and he was helpful at every step. We wanted a bit of a hybrid of a religious and non-religious ceremony and had beautiful wording already prepared. We weren't sure we wanted to say our own vows and decided to use Pastor Eli's vows, they were prefect. The ceremony was quiet and peaceful and one of my favourite pictures is of my new husband and I hugging the Pastor. He also recommended a photographer we were very happy with. Eli made our ceremony very special. He orchestrated it in a way my husband and I had not seen before, making it more intimate and heart felt. We also invited him to our reception to my surprise he took some wonderful pictures and videos. He shared those with us and gave us some moments we will cherish forever. He also helped with obtaining our license, we had some issues which he so graciously resolved. I recommend him highly. He is a wonderful caring person, very easy to work with.

Pastor Eli is very accommodating and he went to great lengths to make everything stress free. He picked us up and took us to the registrars office to apply for your wedding permits. It would have been very stressful doing this by ourselves. The ceremony was wonderful and we received a binder after the ceremony with all the readings and our picture on the front cover. We can highly recommend Pastor Eli.

Rev Eli was absolutely amazing! My husband and I seriously couldn't have done this without him. We wanted to get to know the man than would marry us before we arrived in Puerto Rico. With the help of technology, we both felt as though we gain a friend with Rev Eli. Once we arrived in Puerto Rico, my husband and I were completely overwhelmed with the legal processes, but having Rev Eli with us the whole time made the entire process seamless. He knew the right people to speak with and knew the entire procedures inside and out. We were very prepared for the rehearsal and the ceremony because Rev Eli provide us the vows ahead of time so that we can review and feel comfortable with everything. Pastor Eli did a fantastic job for me and my new wife.

He attended the rehearsal dinner and helped organize the processions. The ceremony was perfect. He even added a few scriptures and words that my whole family was touched by.

Highly would recommend this gentlemen to anyone looking for an officiant in Puerto Rico.

While it is never easy to plan a wedding far from your venue, Pastor Eli made it work and had patience with us while we worked through everything. While there were a few kinks along the way, all of our friends and family said how much they enjoyed him officiating the wedding and how he helped to make it our wedding for us. I would recommend Eli to any of my friends getting married in Puerto Rico!
