The Best Decision We Made
I truly thought I could plan my wedding on my own — and I was completely wrong. Three months out, I had only booked the venue and was overwhelmed. Lyall stepped in and immediately took over every detail, from vendor communication to logistics and timelines, and all of my stress disappeared.
She completely understood my vision, provided thoughtful options, and executed everything flawlessly. Working with Lyall was seamless, calming, and truly enjoyable. If you want a 10/10 wedding, hiring Lyall is a must. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

When my husband and I got engaged back in July 2024, I promised myself I was going to plan our whole wedding by myself. Little did I know that I was going to hire a wedding planner. We decided on having our wedding in Jackson Hole, Wyoming even though we are from Miami, Florida. We knew we wanted something small and intimate with only a few of our family members in the mountains of Grand Tetons and also not crazy expensive. Luckly by February I already had the majority of the planning and deposits done- floral, cake, park permit, color scheme, and so on. I made all the menus, thank you cards, the wedding invitations, table numbers, welcome sign for the reception, ceremony and reception playlist, name cards, bar and guest book sign. When we decided we needed a planner, Lyall LOBA was the first person that stood out to us in the list that we had! She was so kind and very outgoing like a golden retriever, which I loved! She knew exactly what we needed! Planning went so smoothly and she always knew how to calm my nerves. Lyall always had great plans to stay within budget! The day of our wedding went so smooth! Lyall made sure my husband and I constantly with a drink in our reception, lol. Since we had our first dances with each other and our parents in the same dining room, Lyall was able to make enough room for use to dance comfortably and knew exactly when to start and fade out our songs! All in all, Lyall was beyond amazing!! You can tell she loves what she does and loves to make sure her clients are enjoying their special event. I 100% recommend Lyall for anyone planning a wedding of any size!!! -

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Julietta (Lyall), and we cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very beginning, she demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that every element of our wedding was thoughtfully planned and executed with precision. Her organizational skills were second to none with clear timelines, prompt communication, and it was such a relief knowing we could trust her to keep everything on track while we focused on enjoying the process.
What truly set Lyall apart was her ability to react swiftly and gracefully to last-minute changes. Whether it was a sudden vendor issue/question or a potential unexpected weather hiccup, she handled everything with calm confidence and creative problem-solving. We also deeply appreciated the collaborative spirit she brought to the planning process. Our vision was always heard and enhanced by her thoughtful suggestions and artistic touch. Sarah Sent on 08/12/2023Lyall planned the perfect wedding from 1,500 miles away!
We had a destination wedding in Jackson Hole without ever even visiting. Although most thought we were nuts, we hired Lyall at Lobo events and they took care of everything for us! She took our ideas and planned the most seamless day to celebrate our marriage! It was truly simple, elegant perfection.
Lyall took care of everything from table decor to transportation, plus Lyall is the ultimate hype girl. We often joke about "she was more excited for our wedding than us" LOL.
You can get caught up with how $$ throwing a wedding can be, but Lyall listened to us and kept us on track every step of the way. She was by far the best investment in the whole process. I would love for her to plan every event in my life, it's too bad we do not live in town.
10/10 recommend. If you think you don't need a planner, you are wrong, it will make your day 100X better. We felt no stress on our day and it is a direct result of the team at Lobo events! For stress-free events and weddings, hire Lobo Events, I promise you will not regret it or anything about your wedding day! -

Wonderful Experience
I’m So glad I had Lyall for day of coordination! But honestly I would recommend week of coordination. Lyall is easy going and fun, with an amazing talent for pulling a space together beautifully! If I could hire her for special occasions I would. It’s like having your great friend with you and you know it will turn out amazing!

Lyall made our day perfect!
Lyall was the missing piece I didn't know I needed. We had a small wedding and I originally I thought I would go without a planner. Boy was I wrong. I'm SO happy and forever grateful we brought Lyall onboard. She took care of every detail so that I could relax and enjoy the moment. She thought of things that were never on my radar and was one step ahead of me the whole day. She made sure I was comfortable ("What can I get you right now?"), beautiful (ˆfixing flyaways), fed ("I brought you a snack") and stress free ("I can do that for you"). Plus her sunny demeanor and overflowing charisma are great vibes all around. The day will fly by, and Lyall will make it so that you don't miss a thing. We feel so grateful to have had her with us.

I will never be able to fully express how incredible Lyall is as a wedding & events planner, because she is so much more than that. I came to Lyall in tears with a last minute need for a wedding planner following a poor experience with a different team. Within 30 seconds, she took all my worries away. She is an absolute pleasure to work with; a beautiful soul who goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure your day is PERFECT. No matter how intimate or large your event, Lyall will absolutely nail it. Prior to working with her, I felt like I was "just another wedding". Lyall made me feel special, prioritized, & truly cared for. I could go on forever, but if you are looking for a planner who will not only get the job done but get it done flawlessly, alleviate your anxiety & do it all with the most genuine smile on her face, look no further than LOBA Events. -

Working with Lyall truly allowed me to be fully present and engaged on my wedding day. I was worried about planning a wedding from a different state but Lyall was able to connect me with reputable vendors and give me best practices in a field in which I have no knowledge (wedding planning). She was open to scheduling meetings as much as I needed (for my crippling anxiety LOL) and even worked with my mom on some items that I delegated to her. The day was perfect and I'm so glad I chose to work with Lyall & her team! -

This was an extremely disappointing experience. Our wedding was turned into chaos due to Lyall’s lack of professionalism and communication.
From the beginning through the end, her communication was unacceptable. She repeatedly disappeared for days at a time without explanation—long enough that we genuinely feared something had happened to her. We later learned through other vendors and social media that she was simply out partying.
The days leading up to the wedding were significantly worse. We had to involve family members just to keep her away, hoping her assistant might be able to step in and help. Instead of support, we were met with constant attempts to add unnecessary costs through preferred vendors—many of which she appeared to receive commission from.
On the day of the wedding, she showed up in a ski outfit and began changing plans that we had very clearly and explicitly said we did not want. The stress this caused was entirely avoidable and deeply upsetting.
My wife was looking for professional help planning a wedding in Jackson. Instead, we were left with surprise charges, poor coordination, and the hope that no future bride has to endure the same experience.
This was unpredictable, unprofessional, and disappointing. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.LOBA Events's reply:
Dear David, We are so sorry to hear that this was your overall experience. You seemed to have had such a great time at your wedding but feedback is always important to us. We pride ourselves in professionalism and communication. As we had unfortunate weather on your wedding date with lots of rain and snow, It's a shame this affected your overall experience. We do not take commissions from any vendors and never tack on any percentages. You got to see all of your receipts and you paid for the invoices yourself. So no miscommunication there. I did show up in my ski outfit for set-up to stay warm as it was raining and snowing and I changed for your wedding. As per the timeline, when weather rolls in sometimes we have to adjust the timeline and we're sorry that affected your wedding day. We really wanted you to have a wonderful wedding day and that is what we truly care about. Thank you so much for thanking our team profusely at the end of the night so we were surprised to see this was your "overall experience" but we do take it seriously. Nonetheless our LOBA Events team wish you and Rachelle all the happiness in the world. I want to note yes my assistant did miss our second walk-through and I deeply apologize as she had a family emergency. We were certainly not "partying" wedding season keeps us busy enough as is.
