  Stop Searching - Select LMP

  We recently had the pleasure to work with Leonardo for our Wedding in October in San Pedro! We're so grateful for his approach and kindness throughout the whole process. He made us feel comfortable and the moments captured took our breath away. We selected him after connecting with the more natural and genuine style his gallery showcased. Highly recommend for anyone torn between who to utilize for their special event, you won't regret selecting LMP!

  Best Photographer in Belize!

  We booked LMP on our planner’s recommendation and booked over a year in advance because we didn’t want to miss out on working with them. The photos exceeded our expectations, we can’t stop enjoying them! The use of light and attention to detail in the outdoors is impeccable. Thank you for everything!

  Absolutely wonderful experience working with these guys. Efrain was very good and fun to work with and his assistant actually taught us a lot about the local plants and animals that we pointed out throughout the day! The photos are breathtaking, I could not be happier with them. Thank you for capturing our day!!

  If you are having a wedding in Belize do yourself a favor and hire Leonardo Melendez Photography as your Photographer. They are amazing with communication, friendliness, understanding your vision and not to mention the photos you get are stunning done by true talent.
  It's harder than one thinks to Elope 2000 miles away I had to hire someone I never met in person and trust that it will work out after viewing their work on the internet. Seeing that we decided last minute to elope on our planned vacation.
  We had been exchanging emails about what type of photos we wanted and what we didn't want. Efrian took the time to call me and talk at length about our vision and what we wanted. That call eased my mind and I knew everything would be great.
  Excellent customer service all away around. I can't say enough wonderful things about everyone I dealt with at Leonardo Melendez Photography.
  They love what they do and it shows in more than just the pictures, which will blow you away! My pictures look like postcards its such a great keepsake.

  All I can say is THANK YOU SO MUCH.. Efrain and Leonardo went above and beyond my expectations, you guys did such an amazing job. I was a little sad after my wedding I didn't hire a Videographer for Friday for the Rehearsal/Welcome Party but thankfully I had Leonardo and Efrain for Friday and Saturday and they captured everything and made me relive my perfect day.   The entire team is amazing! We worked with Efrain and he was wonderful. The picture quality and clarity was perfect. The day of Efrain was very calming and sweet, and had the right balance of letting us experience our day and also pushing us for some great extra shots that we are so grateful to have now. Our other videographer company was awful (entire video out of focus), so we are so thankful to have the amazing pictures and quality from Efrain. We had another reception back home a month later and the team was kind enough to edit 80 pictures for us ahead of schedule to use at our reception! Their customer service, response time and professionalism is top notch.

  The entire team is amazing! We worked with Efrain and he was wonderful. The picture quality and clarity was perfect.   If you are getting married in Belize, I would suggest e-mailing Leonardo TODAY! He was booked on our wedding day (one year in advance) however we had the privilege of doing a day after shoot with him at Xunantunich. We ended up loving ALL of our photos in Belize, but Leonardo's work was still better than our wedding day photographers!! You can tell how passionate he is about what he does, he is a pleasure to work with. Our final images took a while longer than anticipated to receive but were well worth the wait! Thanks Leonardo and Efrain, we have been told our Xunantunich photos look like they were shot for a high end Vogue or Harper's Bazaar editorial campaign!!

What really pleased us about working with him was how professional he was. He made sure to call us before the wedding to get to know us, and build a better understanding as to what we were looking for. He also helped to make us feel comfortable during the process (I absolutely hate taking pictures) by giving us gentle prompts and directions. Last piece of advice; trash the dress. You won't regret it.

Our son and new daughter-in-law employed them for their wedding in Hopkins. Leonardo and his assistant were not only extremely professional, but were able to capture the joy and happiness throughout the entire day...telling a story of a special time in our lives from preparation to the evening dinner with a calmness that was contagious. We have wonderful photos that are not only traditional but creative. Their patience and skill captured the emotions and beauty of the day perfectly.

  We booked with Efren who is a part of Leonardo Melendez Photography. His prices were reasonable, and we have yet to see all of the photographs, because they are still editing them. However, we did get a preview, and the pictures that we have seen so far are wonderful. They were great about contacting us by email, as well as by phone. He set up a time to call us prior to our wedding, and just kind of got to know us, which we felt was going above and beyond. We haven't had professional pictures done outside of a studio, and he did such a great job with making us feel comfortable. He arrived right on time, and we are very happy with the results so far. I would definitely suggest booking with Efren!

  Our wedding was in the North Georgia mountains. I really wanted wedding pictures on the beach so when we booked our Belizean honeymoon we deided we would get an after wedding photoshoot. We spoke with 5 different Belizean photographers and booked with Leo. We are so so happy we did. Not only were his prices great but we got rights to photos and all images not just a few.   Our experience was absolutely wonderful! We booked Efrain to shoot photos of our wedding at Ambergris Caye, Belize at a resort. He did an excellent job, and was very patient. He listened to our very few requirements, and we just let him be as creative as he wanted to be with the rest. He was not pushy or rushed. The photos were amazing! We got the previews first, and then they delivered the rest within a few months. Our family really enjoyed them. We highly recommend this photographer...just go to their website. You'll see some amazing photos. The customer service was very responsive. We dealt with Tracy on the administrative stuff. The photos were excellent and showcased exactly what we wanted - lots of photos of our friends and family having fun at our henna/bonfire/prewedding barbeque, Catholic wedding, Hindu ceremony and reception dinner/dance! We get lots of compliments on our wedding books and often look back on the photos ourselves. We loved that Leo took the time to get to know us beforehand via a skype call. Our major difficulty was that Leo told us we would get a preview within a few weeks and it took a few months. We understood that he is very busy during wedding season and would have been fine waiting for longer so he should not have made that false promise, or at least told us as soon as possible that he wasn't going to make the original deadline. After four months we got all the photos and they were fantastic! Considering we have friends who didn't get their photos for nearly a year, we have no complaints! The only other let down was that Leo mentioned he'd bring a drone camera for some cool shots from over the water but then his drone broke before our wedding - stuff happens! The shots he got were great anyways!
