  flexible and professional with great ideas!

  Laurie was professional and made my family feel at ease during a hectic day. She was great at suggesting locations and has a great attitude. She is also flexible, and is able to multitask. Laurie was not only a great photographer, but also had great suggestions for other reliable vendors in the area. Highly recommended.

  Love LJO Photography

  We had a situation at our wedding due to the Venue misinforming us and Laurie at LJO Photography was extremely professional, courteous and helpful! As we were shooting, she worked with the situation (limited time) we were given and made the absolute most of it. I would definitely hire her for any other event in the future. My whole family loved how she worked with us and the shots she captured... my God! I haven’t got them back yet but as she was taking them she showed me multiple and they were ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Loved her and 100% recommend her.

  Knew how to wrangle our big wedding party!

  We had such a pleasant experience working with Laurie on our wedding day! She has such a beautiful eye and knew exactly what photos were important. With such a big family and wedding party, Laurie took charge in handling and organizing the chaos with ease. She was especially good with our dog and the kids involved in the wedding party! Overall, we were very pleased regarding the gorgeous photos delivered and appreciated how kind and helpful she was from the beginning to end! Laurie really captured the special moments! We are so thankful!!

  Amazing Photographer!

  Laurie was a DREAM to work with! She was sweet, very helpful, took gorgeous pictures (I haven't gotten them back yet but just the ones she showed me on her camera were beautiful) and made me feel really at ease.

  Great easy experience

  We used LJO Photography for our engagement and wedding photos. Having done an engagement shoot made the wedding posing really easy. We had fun and even I was relaxed and laughing through the day. We did a sneak peak based on her advise and I’m glad we did. It took the pressure off after the ceremony to do photos since we were able to get everything done beforehand. We got the photos 3 weeks later and loved it. We then ordered an album and canvases.

  We started in the suite with bridesmaid photos. Then the sneak peek. There was so many get lifetime we used here. Laurie stayed all night till our guests left so we could get goodbye photos we received the proofs within reach weeks and loved them.

  We received our photos this week. My wife is very happy with them as I am also, but as a guy I want to write about the experience. There are many photographer we interviewed that we good, but it was the connection and customer service that set her apart. My wife had all the shots she wanted, but I wanted a couple of fun shots with the guys and she delivered, and had us all laughing the whole time.

  We had our wedding at Insignia Steak House, received our photos from LJO Photography. I have just about looked at them over and over about a "gazillion" times now! I LOVE them that much! Even my husband who absolutely abhors being in front of the camera, can't stop looking at them because they came out that fantastic! Laurie's fun and kind personality and approach makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Like most every engaged couple, we spent so much time, energy and money into organizing our "big day" that we wanted to make sure that every detail and special moment was captured and saved. What you see in LJO Photography portfolio is what you get, images that bring back all those emotions of the day that you don't ever want to forget that you had with your closest friends and family. We wanted both a photojournalistic and artistic approach so Keri from Insignia recommended her she hit the nail right on the head in terms of the total style and feel we were looking for.   1) You could not beat the price we paid other photographers wanted tripled what we paid. We got the digital only package and then decided to upgrade afterwards to albums which they created for us under 3 weeks. I have friends married over a year and they still do not have their albums. The pictures came out perfect and I didn;t even realize how many they took.

  We paid extra to have them come from Long Island, but with travel cost it was still cheaper then the main photographers around here for high end photography. She had one of her interns do video which was basic, but perfect for us. We received the photos 3 weeks later with a download link that we were able to share with friends. They were great, perfect, she posed us, and had casual ones. It was a perfect combination. They do not travel often, but if ti works for them book them. I got NY quality, for Annapolis prices.

  Really Works With The Bride

  Working with Laurie From LJOPhotography was a wonderful experience. She is very personable and works with you. The Pinterest crazy person I am looked at many wedding photos and put together a list of different types of shots I absolutely needed to have captured for my own wedding. The day of she delivered the types of images I wanted and so much more. From the staged silhouette of my husband and I kissing in front of the colorful reflection of the lake to sweet, romantic candid moments. The attention to detail was impeccable, and not just focused on us but also on our family as we had specified. She has a creative eye for setting up the shots and is very clear and precise when giving instructions. The pictures came out BEAUTIFUL, I am so happy with them.
  I very much enjoyed working with LJO Photography and had even recommended them to my sister to use, which she did.

  We just got our photos back this week and I cried all over again. They captured all the moments and they came out amazing. We got a bonus video and that is one of the best gifts I have ever been given.

  Laurie was the photographer for my son's Bar Mitzvah on Feb. 9. We had her for the day, however snowstorm Nemo decided to dump 2 feet of snow on Long Island, so we had to postpone the party for the next day. Laurie was fantastic! She was able to make it to his service on the 9th and then went to the Crest Hollow for the party the next day. She made a difficult situation so much easier. And the photos are so much better than we ever imagined! They are beautifully edited and capture all the best moments. We will definitely use her again for our younger son's Bar Mitzvah!
