Liz was so fun!! Every session with her felt like a hangout with friends and in the end we had a beautiful ceremony. She answered all our questions, worked with us on our vows, and knocked it out of the park with her ceremony. A kind, calm, competent professional we 100% recommend. -

We used Liz Rae Weddings - specifically Liz as our officiant for our Chicago events.
We liked her so much, we used her twice! :) We used Liz for our vow renewal / larger reception this year and for our intimate wedding last year.
Liz helped write and deliver two ceremonies from our meetings, where my husband and I were mostly awkward and hadn't done our homework from the meeting prior (sorry!) and generally unhelpful with what we wanted.
Even given all of that, our ceremonies ended up being perfect for us!
Liz was super easy to work with, scheduling meetings were a breeze as was the review process ahead of time!
This year, rumor has it my dad *may have* even cried!
I highly recommend Liz Rae Weddings for all of your wedding and vow renewal needs! -

Liz was one of our first hired vendors and definitely one of our best! She stuck with us through two postponements and made sure that everything was amazing. Liz spent so much time with us, learning about us and our life. And with all that she learned, Liz wrote an amazing ceremony that had everyone laughing, crying, and enjoying themselves. We could not have asked for a better officiant or friend. Thank you so much for everything you did for us! -

One of a kind
Using Liz Rae was a terrific choice for us. We got a unique one of a kind wedding ceremony that wasn’t cookie cutter at all. Mark couldn’t have been easier to work with. He really did amazing and Liz was so kind and helpful throughout. Worth it! Also they donate to LGBTQ and that means a great deal to us. -

Liz is such an amazing person to work with! We booked her before COVID hit, and when we had to make a bunch of adjustments she accommodated us in every way possible. She made sure we were comfortable with the ceremony and wrote a beautiful personalized piece that fit us perfectly. We also had her write our "vow renewal" ceremony for this years larger reception. She coached us through the entire ceremony, made sure we knew what to do, and made herself available for questions anytime! She was always super quick to respond and just such a genuinely warm and happy person to speak with. I cannot recommend Liz enough to anyone looking for a beautiful, personalized ceremony, and wants to work with such a dedicated and kind person! This year we had Kelly officiate our 2nd ceremony, and we received so many compliments from the guests about how beautiful the ceremony was and how great of a speaker she was. Definitely get your ceremony officiated from these guys, they are above and beyond amazing! -

We booked Liz pretty late for our wedding in April after our officiated friend dropped out. She was a dream to work with and provided us a ton of advice and tools from planning our ceremony to writing out vows. She was also super flexible in adding additional times to meet with her virtually to make sure the ceremony was perfect. Her advice on items to include for our Indian-American ceremony was super helpful. Would absolutely recommend Liz to anyone -

Liz Rae Weddings is a must if you’re looking for a uniquely you experience for your ceremony. She was able to pivot the details our ceremony every time we had to pivot our plan (It’s 2020, the original wedding didn’t happen. And we ended up eloping). She was so supportive through the whole drama of replanting and then eloping.
Our ceremony was funny, personal, and beautiful.
Wish we could do it all again!!! -

We used Liz Rea's services for our Chicago Wedding last month and were lucky enough to be paired up with Kelly. She Impressed us from the moment we interviewed her and we could not be happier with our decision to go with her. I don't think I spoke to a single guest after the ceremony that didn't comment on how amazing she was. She had them laughing, crying and laughing again. Really made for a special experience. Highly recommend. -

My husband and I are both very traditional people. The problem was that we're traditional people from different religions. Liz created the perfect ceremony that told our story, felt sentimental but kept the formality and familiarity of a Jewish or Catholic wedding. I was worried that my traditional Catholic family would turn their nose at our ceremony for not being in a church or exactly the way they felt it should be done but Liz helped us blend our families seamlessly. I've received countless compliments on the ceremony. Liz took so much time and effort into our ceremony but she made it seem completely effortless. Our ceremony was simply beautiful and we have Liz to thank for that. She went completely above and beyond (including a trip to Target for "break the glass" supplies!) I will recommend her time and time again. Thanks, Liz! -

Liz was absolutely amazing! She was so professional and responsive. She was open to work within our budget, which not everyone is willing to do. And she did such a great job writing our ceremony! She listened to what we wanted and made suggestions. She was very knowledgeable about our venue and the entire ceremony process. We really clicked with her right away. We ended up not having ceremony music due to some crappy DJs, he really made up for that. Gave us something great to remember from that day, I am forever thankful! -

Stephanie Sent on 08/30/2018We were so lucky to find Mark!! It was an honor to have him be the officiant for our wedding. He was like an instant natural anti-anxiety medication during the practice and during our ceremony. He was prepared, calm and flexible and made our day really special with his ideas and quotes which were personalized to fit who we are. He helped prepare what each of us would say and he was excellent with communication before and after the wedding. He had experience doing a handfasting ceremony and I really wanted to incorporate that into our non-religious ceremony and he tied the most beautiful knot that I will cherish forever in a shadowbox with some other wedding memorabilia. Thank you Mark for being such a rock during a time most are shaking in their boots. Thank you for making our marriage unforgettable and so smooth!!

Jenny Sent on 07/08/2018Linnea was our officiant and she was amazing! She wrote a personalized script for us and gave us multiple opportunities to proofread it so it would be exactly what we wanted. She took our readings and added in special messages from both to help tie everything together. She touched on unique aspects of our relationship and it was perfect. We got so many compliments from our guests on how our ceremony was so "us"! We decided to do a fun, unique unity ceremony - pouring beer together - and she worked with us on that and was so flexible with everything. Linnea was awesome to work with :)

Kara Sent on 01/16/2016Liz is amazing! We chose her because of her low rates, but I'm so glad and I would have paid more for her. She is so sweet and helpful. She answered all of our questions and really got to know us as a couple so she could create the most personal and unique ceremony that we could have asked for. She gave us tons of examples and ideas and helped us write our vows and made everything run so smoothly.
