Liz is the absolute sweetest! While she hasn't done our photography yet, the sign on process has been seamless. She explained her entire contract in detail to make sure we understood her entire process prior to signing. She was one of the only photographers I spoke with that was genuinely excited about our engagement and wedding which made me feel super special. I had a poor experience with other vendors and can't help but be super excited to work with Liz. -

Liz was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Beginning with our initial interview, Liz and I hit it off right away. She had been to my venue several times, had stunning photos, and was all around just so excited to be a part of our big day. Our engagement pictures were beautiful. SOOOO many people commented tell me that they were the best they had ever seen. A direct quote from someone was, "I have seen some really good ones, but yours were just WOW." Liz instantly makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, teaching you to walk before you can run (metaphorically). On our wedding day, she made everyone feel at ease. Everyone laughed, had a great time, and you could tell our pictures were genuine. You felt like you were there. Liz was the best and we are soooooo grateful for her. -

Exceptional quality
Liz was fabulous! We hired her for our engagement and wedding/reception photos. The engagement photos were fun and the turn around time in getting them back to us to use for our save the date/wedding invites and website was quick and easy! Liz was a pleasure to work with. Her personality and eye for detail were just some of the many positives this woman possesses! We will deff be working with her more as our family grows. Highly recommend! -

Best photographer I could have asked for!
Liz is relaxed, easy going, creative, down to earth and overall was an absolute thrill to work with. Here photos were creative, different, natural, and made us feel super comfortable and relaxed. Working with her, I was confident we would have amazing shots and she is just a wonderful human being. Please consider using Liz for your wedding! She is one of a kind! -

User2149680 Sent on 05/27/2015I hired Liz Cowie to capture the moment as I proposed to my girlfriend. The price was fair for the session plus all edited digital images (we got back around 200 pictures!), and she even brought along a second photographer to get multiple angles at no extra charge. Liz was very nice and professional the entire time. I proposed on the beach and there was a big setup including candles, rose petals, etc. Liz offered to show up early and help with the setup, and even offered some of her own personal items to include in the arrangement. She stayed throughout the proposal and after to take more engagement pictures. We got the edited pictures back in only 3 days, with 2 sneak-peek pictures the day after the proposal. The pictures were all incredible. Thank you so much Liz for providing us with timeless memories of our special day! -

In the planning phase, Liz was responsive, knowledgeable and gave good planning advice. She was always on time and well-prepared for each meeting and session.
In performing her photography, Liz was on time, calm, managed the time lines efficiently, and made appropriate suggestions to maximize the quality of her photographs. She got natural smiles out of all of us, and was not "cheesy," repetitive, annoying or demanding in accomplishing this. She worked well with our other vendors. She was professional, friendly, approachable, and unobtrusive in getting her shots. Liz's pleasant personality and happy demeanor added to (rather than detracted from) the joy of our day-unlike our wedding photographer many years ago, who was abrasive and argued stridently with our videographer, and was generally a negative influence :(
Our final photo gallery was returned to us so quickly I was astonished! The quality and artistry of the photos of my daughter, my family and our friends brings tears to my eyes, and were more beautiful than I had even hoped. Liz captured each of the important moments, as well as the details and spirit of the party and our joy as a family; she corrected for difficult dance floor lighting, and captured great candid moments as well as family portraits (even with the difficulty of several toddlers and a 10 year old boy who were all quickly bored of posing and being in their dress-up clothing!) in both natural and indoor lighting. We will treasure these beautiful photos for many years!
On the basis of our experience, I have already recommended Liz without hesitation to others. Our hotel has asked for permission to feature some of her work and will credit and recommend her as well. -
User2090972 Sent on 04/08/2015Liz is amazing! She was referred to me from another photographer who was busy the day I needed, and Liz agreed to fill in under short notice. So happy she did! I asked Liz to do an "under cover" photo shoot of me proposing to my girlfriend (now fiance). I asked her to make a setup on the beach with just a blanket, flowers and champagne that we would "stumble upon" during a walk on the beach. The setup she made was beyond anything I could have imagined - I'm sure she has photos on Facebook. Anyway, she got the photos of me proposing and then did a mini-shoot after. She talked with me on the phone multiple times to make sure all the details were perfect. Great experience and so happy to have Liz be a part of it!
