Best vendor we chose for our wedding, book now!!!
I struggled to find a videographer that could fit within our long time gap and not charge more than an arm and a leg. We were able to pay a small fee and get almost 10 hours of coverage which was more than their standard package. They are wonderful to work with and nothing beats their quality. You can tell they are the real deal, pro equipment and not a moment missed. We both we so excited to show off our video and I know we will watch it for years to come. I'm so glad we picked Live Authentically!

My husband and I found Live Authentically on Facebook by seeing one of their posted videos. I was hesitant to use a company that no one I knew personally had used before, but I am SO glad that we did! Our videographer Alaynna was so punctual and organized. She knew exactly which shots she wanted to get and did so well with our busy schedule! Our video is absolutely perfect and caught all of the sweet and fun moments. Live Authentically was such a great business to work with! We loved working with them for many reasons, for one their quality is top notch. We had so many compliments on the video we received! Our videographer Quinn was an absolute JOY who made the shooting sessions so fun. You can tell he is so passionate for his craft.
Getting the final product was exciting and emotional, I cried through the whole thing... It was truly magical to see the art and skill of both the videographer and the editor come together and I felt like it was captured so beautifully. If you're on the fence of getting a videographer - just do it! You won't regret it.
One thing that I think sets them apart as well is that they offer a payment plan, which makes it easy to break up the payments even after the date of the wedding!! It's nice to have that wiggle room with the amount of expenses that add up for a wedding. Another notable mention is that their email correspondence was always so prompt and thorough so we always felt taken care of from start to finish. So glad we worked with them, you'll be happy you did too!

I chose Live Authentically after seeing one of their wedding films online, and knew immediately that I wanted them to shoot our wedding. The wedding recap video is such a popular trend, but I haven't seen many that compare to the quality and emotion that Live Authentically is able to capture. They were easy to work with, responsive and delivered a video that perfectly captured our day. As a bonus, our day-of videographer, James, was an absolute pleasure and enhanced our wedding day, which is a lot to say for a vendor that's engaging with you so frequently all day. Highly recommend!!

I had a really good friend who is into videography himself recommend his friend from live authentically, and I was not disappointed! I have since recommended you to another close friend of mine and you will be shooting her wedding in September of this year. I have never been great with words but if you're on the fence about having a wedding videographer get off the fence and just say yes! I recommend specifically this company Live Authentically The moment I saw the name of the company I got butterflies in my stomach because one of my biggest priorities while I'm on the side is to be nothing short of 100% authentically myself, 11/10 I would recommend.

I was very worried when I hired Live Authentically as a videographer as I found them off FB. I wasn't sure if I wanted one and waited till everyone locally was full. I reached out to LA and they helped me the entire way. The communication was prompt, they responded professionally each time. They gave us a 16 weeks time frame and had it completed within 12 weeks. It was nothing but amazing. It brought many happy tears as they got so many special moments. I highly recommend them!!!!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Live Authentically, and their CEO Avery! Avery captured our destination wedding in Marco Island so beautifully. Avery prioritized allowing us to enjoy our day while seamlessly capturing candid moments in addition to the planned video moments. He not only captured our day so beautifully, he was also so much fun at our wedding and reception, and our guests loved their energy! I had my wedding a couple of months ago in August. I just want to say that compared to any other vendor who'd respond every 3 days Live Authentically would get back at the latest 24hrs. Everything was made easy and straightforward. If you're a bride who is co-dependent they may not be the company for you but if you want quality and reassurance they are it! I have had several of my friends (colleagues) go with them and they've all had great experiences as well!

I first saw Live Authentically’s work about 3 years ago in a wedding fb group (I am a wedding planner); I recall tearing up at complete strangers love and messaging them “dude this is f*cking art”. From that moment I knew one day I’d be calling him for my own wedding film. I booked the Elegant Love package with Live Authentically before I even had a venue locked in. Avery was on time and jubilant for the entirety of the day! Our film was delivered less than 7 weeks after our day and captured it so perfectly! I have watched it 3 times and laughed or cried each time and the amazing little moments he caught. Best Decision of Our Wedding Day
Cannot stress how grateful we are that we decided to do a wedding video with Live Authentically. We originally were not sure if we wanted a wedding video while planning our wedding but we can honestly say we are grateful we changed our mind with how much we have watched it. Live Authentically came out for both our Welcome Party and wedding, and really went above and beyond capturing our day while blending in with our guests to capture them in a natural way. Not only did they do an amazing job with the video but they also worked seamlessly with our photographer who was a different vendor. Our photographer even came up to us and raved about working with them because they worked hand in hand and had amazing ideas for both video clips and photographs. We made a last minute decision to hire a videographer and we chose Live Authentically for shooting our wedding. Not only were they super accomodating with our last minute request but also very friendly and easy to work with! On the day of our wedding we had Roman come and shoot our wedding and he showed us some of the shots he took and they were breath taking! We absolutely love our wedding video. We are so happy we decided to add on a videographer after realizing last minute we didn’t book one. Overall, the company was good to work with. The communication was not as ideal as you would like when you are paying a large amount of money for the service. They assign you a videographer based off of a form you fill out. We did request Avery as most of the videos we watched and liked were done by him. We did not get to talk or meet with him until the week of the wedding which was stressful. We would have liked to meet and get a feel for the personality prior to the week of. However, the day of went smooth. Avery was easy to get along with and talk to. He stood back and captured the true, unscripted moments of the day. I'd like to preface this by saying up until this point I have had a pretty good experience with Live Authentically.
We got our highlight film back and loved it. It definitely wasnt as long as the ones they advertised and it included nobody talking like in the others. I dont know if thats just how the gold package we purchased works or not but it was a cute 4 1/2 minute video.
We ordered all of our raw footage and were super excited about something our videographer said he filmed for us. When discussing purchasing footage I stated I was very excited for the specific footage the videographer took for us. It's the main reason we bought everything. Well that footage wasn't included with the hard drive we received. We paid $250 (was supposed to be $350 but they offer you $100 off for good reviews) to purchase all of our footage and didn't get the shots I let them know I was looking forward to getting. Our wedding highlights film also wasnt included on the hard drive so its only on YouTube which sucks because per our contract it should have been included on the hard drive. The sound quality on our speeches was pretty bad too I wish they would have cleaned up the audio before sending it to me but it is what it is.
My biggest issue is that I emailed them a week and two days ago now asking about that missing footage and have heard nothing back. They always responded within 3 days at most to my emails. It feels like they got their money from us so now we don't matter. It's an unfortunate way to end what was a pretty good experience with them.

I went back and fourth on whether or not I wanted a videographer. I finally decided that I had to have one and someone recommend Live Authentically. If I could go back, I would have done little more research before choosing Live Authentically.
From the very beginning, the communication was lacking. Before the wedding, I sent a timeline with all the details and even included where I would like them to be and what time. The morning of the wedding, our videographer was calling my husband asking where he was suppose to be. I also had no idea who was shooting our wedding or what his name was prior to this phone call. Although our videographer was very nice, we felt that he didn’t direct much and just stood behind my photographer the whole time.
Our wedding took place on August 28th. Months went by and I hadn't heard anything about our video so I asked for an update. I was told the processing time was 7-24 weeks with an average of 17 weeks. At the 17 week mark, I asked for another update. They told me my video would be set to release on the 12th of February. So they were taking the full 24 weeks. The evening of the 12th came and no video was delivered so I sent ANOTHER email asking for an update (not once did they reach out to me to keep me up to date.) They responded and said that it was, "unfortunately taking a ridiculously long time to process the video" and it wouldn't be ready until the following week. That day came and I still didn't receive anything. I get that life happens and sometimes deadlines can't be met, but they need to communicate that with their clients. I would have been much more understanding if they had reached out to me instead of leaving me in the dark.
At this point, I was starting to get pretty upset. I contacted a friend who had also used Live Authentically. Her wedding took place the weekend after mine. She let me know that she had received her video over a month prior. After this conversation, I typed up a big email sharing all of my frustrations. I also contacted Avery who did respond quickly but wasn’t very friendly with his response.
They ignored all of my concerns and responded with their drafted email that they send to all of their clients. I never received an apology. They sent me a link which included about 24 seconds of shaky footage with no sound....I thought I might be getting punked at this point. I forwarded that to Avery and it was deleted and replaced with the correct footage and I FINALLY had my video.
The quality of the video was subpar. I am happy to finally have it but I feel for the price, the quality could have been much better. Not to mention I was advised to pay an extra $250 to do a first look with my dad that took all of 5 minutes and I feel could have been included in my 6 hours of shooting time already.
After looking at reviews, it’s clear that I am not the only one who has had issues with this business. (Also take a look at how the owner responds to unhappy reviews....yikes!) A little communication and professionalism can go a long way and I hope they start to work on that with future clients.

I was super pumped to have Live Authentically as our videographer after my brothers wedding, but our experience was way worse. After the ceremony the videographer came up to me and said he never got my schedule email (which they have you send a rough draft months prior) and told me he did t know what the plan was for the day, we received our video 7 weeks after the contracted time frame, and their reasoning was they had a lot of clients with my name so they must have gotten confused..overall terrible response times, if they ever do, and lack professionalism. Not worth the cost.

If I were to be planning my wedding all over again now, I would not hire Live Authentically again. I hired them after a close friend of mine used them and had a good experience. However, once my wedding got closer I read some really bad reviews that had me worried. It was too late to go back at this point though, so we didn't say anything and just moved forward.
Fast forward to the day of my wedding. I have no idea who to expect, what their name will be, or what they look like. That information was never shared. The guy arrives and the first shot he's there for is me getting my ready, while reading a letter from my soon to be husband at the time. I am putting my dress on first so he turns around. My aunt notified him and the photographer once I am dressed to turn around. The photographer turns around but he never does. She said it multiple times as I am reading this card and she hoped he would catch it. I think he may have got the very end but thats all.
Fast forward to the time for my ceremony... the videographer unplugs my DJ's equipment!!! He didn't ask for a place to plug in or set up, just took it upon himself and caused my wedding to start late as all my DJ's equipment then had to reboot back up.
During the time we had set aside in our timeline for pictures and video footage the videographer was no where to be found. A friend and the photographer had to hunt him down for us on multiple occasions to ensure he got the footage we wanted.
We did get our video in a very very timely manner and they even got me some extra footage at not cost so I was able to get a special picture for my dad. However, communication to get that as well as our drive was TERRIBLE. No one would respond to me. I sent numerous emails before finally getting my drive today.
Overall, the video footage was great. I love my video. But due to lack of communication and how things were the day of my wedding, I would not hire them again.

(There’s a reason previous customers can’t post honest reviews on any of their pages)
So we originally booked with Live Authentically and even had close contact on times and what to expect up to the week before. The day of, we found out through this new videographer through a completely different company that showed up that they overbooked weddings and went to a different wedding. Live Authentically never told us of the overbooking or to expect a new person to arrive. So this guy shows up wedding day explaining who he was and what happened and that he didn’t have all of his usual equipment (which caused our videos to not have the best quality) because of how last second this change was. This really disappointed me the day of because I booked through Live Authentically for THEIR videos. Like what are we going to get now??? Why didn’t they tell us of this change and what to expect? Very unprofessional. The guy they chose was thankfully amazing and worked well with our photographer but again, was not apart of their company. (Which is breaking their contract-it says you get a Live Authentically Videographer).
We also thought they really nickel and dimed couples with basically anything. Their price is good upfront but then you realize that the package only really includes the main 5-15 min video (they typically do just the 5 min videos). You have to pay extra for many different options. Full ceremony and reception unedited? Extra. You want to do vows before the ceremony between the two of you? Extra. Teaser video? Extra. Drone coverage? Extra. Which I thought by the way it’s written in contract, we got the ceremony and reception with what we paid. It’s written as:

After they sent our video link, they said I can pay $250 more to get a thumb drive of those things that didn’t make the video. I said that’s included in my package per our contract. But they argued I would only get the cake cutting, speeches, and first dances, not the ceremony and reception. So I had to pay the extra $250 after their many rude emails back to me. I asked them to send me the tracking number once they send the thumb drive and they said “It depends on who is working at the Post Office that day, but we always try to provide a tracking number.” Never received one (and every shipping place always provides a tracking number/once we received our package, it had a tracking number right on the front of it). Then they don’t really give you instructions on how to use the drive. We were having issues watching the videos on our computer and they blamed it on the “oldness” of our computer (mind you it’s a high quality newer computer so it’s 100% not that). They say to just upload the videos to google drive. You can only upload like 5-10 videos under 30 seconds each into google drive before you have to pay for storage MONTHLY which again only goes so far. They don’t tell you that you have to download all these apps to your computer to watch them as well (if it’s not MAC) which also costs money that they again don’t warn you about until after you purchase the thumb drive. If you don’t do these things, your videos will have to be uploaded to google drive one by one to watch in slow mo while the sound is in regular speed…EVERY SINGLE VIDEO. WASTE OF $250!!!
Also, it took us forever to get our video back. In the contract they said AT LEAST 7-15 weeks. What?!!! Most of my friends who used other videographers, get their video back in half that time. You think with the way it’s worded, worst case scenario, your video will be back in 15 weeks. What’s the point of the 7-15 if it can be as long as they want? First of all, I emailed saying it’s been 15 weeks, any update? They emailed me back saying by Monday or Tuesday you will have it back and it can take up to 22 weeks. Um excuse me? Thursday came and I get back a video link THAT WASN’T EVEN US! Labeled wrong on the video is our names but not our wedding. Are you kidding? They said they had a record 23 weddings that day and will have to “locate” our video. So little did I know, this company outsources to whoever to record your wedding so when you book, you never know what type of videographer you’re gonna get, and they just edit it. Nowhere does it say that’s what they do. So when booking, you think you’re getting a similar video/quality to previous videos but truly, you get what you get depending on who does the recording.
So I would not suggest anyone to book with this company.
1. What are you paying for? An editing service. They do many weddings in one day and you don’t know what videographer you are going to get beforehand. It’s not going to be the same. Plus we got a videographer not with their company, never were told about this last minute switch, and never got any apology or money back for not following their contract.
2. When will you get your video back? UP TO 22 WEEKS! No direct timeline, they will make excuses for why it’s taking longer, you may get someone else’s video labeled as yours. It took ours 17 weeks (not 15).
3. Your wedding film will be 5-15 minutes? Yea count on the 5-8 minute mark.
4. Keep your contract close on hand & read carefully. They never sent it to me again after I asked. Thankfully I found it after searching through my emails cause they sure as hell weren’t going to find it (we booked 1 year in advance with covid pushing our wedding back).
5. Professionalism? Non-existent. I emailed them the week before and asked what time they would be there. They responded with 45 minutes before with our videographer! 45 minutes before, & a non-Live Authentically Videographer shows up and says they overbooked the day and sent him instead (from a different company). I never got any notification of the overbooking beforehand or any apology afterwords for what happened. Also, they were very rude through emails when I confronted them of the issues we had with them & them breaking the contract.
6. What comes with your package? (We purchased the Silver package). Literally basically just the 5 minute video and thumb drive of cake, dances, and speeches. That’s it. Worth it? Truly no, and the more expensive packages aren’t worth it either. You still have to pay extra for basically everything. Find a different company that gives you that, with coverage of ceremony and reception, for just a little bit more because overall, you will pay the same but get more.
7. You want a thumb drive of all the unedited videos from your big day? Yea count on spending more on either a google drive with larger storage which is a monthly payment, or spending more on apps to convert the videos so you can even watch them correctly. And again, the thumb drive is extra $250 to begin with.

No communication!
Our wedding was June 2021, due to my own mistake I had a small balance due that I paid In September. I was told the current wait was about 17-20 weeks but they were closer to the 17 week wait. We waited and waited, at 18 weeks I reached out and was told they were right on target for the 20 weeks. At 20 weeks I reached out and was told it would be ready in a week... on that day I messaged them and heard back that they were off by a day and that it would be done by the next day (Sunday) and loaded by Monday, if not Sunday evening. Nothing on Sunday, nothing on Monday. I reached out and asked if everything was okay, nothing. On Tuesday I received an email with our "Wedding video!" When I would go to the link it would say it's an empty folder. I immediately emailed back and asked if I was doing something wrong and was sent shotty screenshots of what I should have been seeing. I let them know I had even tried to download the file and when it was done it was also empty. Still no response.

Avoid this vendor at all costs.
As much as I don’t want to be writing this, I feel the need to share my experience with Live Authentically Videography. (Long post.)
Unfortunately, my husband and I have been incredibly disappointed with our experience post-wedding.
We were married in late May, and finalized payments in late June. Our contract states the video was estimated to take between 7 and 15 weeks to complete. In an email, I was told it could take up to 21 weeks, but that it has never taken that long, and would be more like 15-17 weeks. With Covid pushing 2020 weddings into 2021, I understood the further delay. After the 21 week mark, I sent an email asking when we could expect the video to be delivered. In the mean time, a wedding film from an August wedding was uploaded to their YouTube page (3 months after our wedding). I began to worry that something was wrong with our film.
After two weeks with no response, I sent a follow up email. Again, after no response, I sent a Facebook message. The following day, I got an email stating that they had experienced difficulties and that our video would be to us soon. Four days later, our film was delivered via a YouTube link. While the film brings us great joy in being able to re-live our wedding day over and over, we were underwhelmed with the quality of editing for the amount of money we paid and the amount of time (8 additional weeks) we waited past what was contracted. It felt rushed and kind of sloppy.
We chose to purchase all of the raw footage in order to attempt to edit a video for ourselves. I asked if our edited film would be on the hard drive that also included the raw footage, and was told that it would be. I was also told it would be shipped by the end of the week (12/31). Once we received the drive, it had been post marked for 1/6, the same day I contacted them asking for a tracking number to track the package, and was told it had already been shipped and had no tracking number.
The hard drive did not include our wedding film. After waiting an additional week after the estimated ship time, it was not even quality checked to make sure the thing we paid a large amount of money for was included. I was offered a Google link to digitally download the video, but I said that if it was depleted in quality that I would prefer another drive. I was assured it would be fine, and was sent the link. It was compressed into 720p, and when I asked for the higher quality version, I was told I could either send the drive back to them, or wait for them to order new ones. I chose to send them a new flash drive to load the video onto, and it was just delivered to me yesterday (1/28) in original quality.
We are, unfortunately, not the only couple that has had similar experiences with them, and after speaking with a few of those couples, I’ve found many inconsistencies and differing excuses for late/missing/damaged packages. A little communication, honesty, and transparency is all we could really ask for, and we felt we were given the opposite of that. It is clear why reviews are turned off on their website and Facebook page.
Any of these problems alone would have been no biggie, but after experiencing the stress and frustration of all of these things, I would not recommend Live Authentically Videography to other couples.
To brides that have already booked with them, I encourage you to keep track of communication via email, and to advocate for yourself and your spouse. 💛

Do not recommend- Lost our video footage!!
All of our wedding footage was lost. We continually got the run around, and never a straight answer with proof as to how this happened. Not to mention, we only got an email from Avery 2-3 months later saying our footage was lost. They did not even have the common courtesy to call us and apologize. And then gave us 3 days to sign a non disclosure agreement to get our money back (“as a courtesy”) because their contract states they don’t give refunds... for a service that was never provided!!
We ended up having to hire a lawyer to settle our case with Live Authentically. Not to mention, this same situation happened to our good friends who got married the week before us, who also used LA.
PLEASE, do your research before booking, as I wish I had! They are an amateur company, that has no policy or procedures in place to protect the client and the precious moments we will now never get back.

Live Authentically shot my video for my wedding. According to my contract and what I payed for, I should have received my video within 3-4 weeks from my wedding date. It took 6 weeks and me messaging the company to finally receive the "highlight video". I do admit, the highlight video was very well done, however it turned out to be a very expensive 6 minute video. Two months after my wedding, again, I had to message the company asking for the rest of my wedding footage. Upon my request they finally sent it out in the mail for me. What I received were a few suboptimal videos that included some, but not all that I payed for. I emailed the company with my concerns hoping we could correct what I assumed was a simple mistake. The response I got from them was extremely judgmental, rude, and did not at all answer any of my questions. In the email I was deemed "compulsive, aggressive, and rude" along with a lot of defensiveness and excuses, but no explanations. The company also went as far as to block me from their facebook page where they do most of their advertising, making it so I could not leave a review.
This company has caused my husband and I to miss out on key parts of our big day to look back on. Live Authentically was very rude, unsympathetic, judgmental, and unprofessional. If all you're looking for is an expensive but well put together 6 minute video of your wedding day, then this company is great. But if you want to be guaranteed to receive what you pay for from a professional company, I DO NOT recommend going through Live Authentically.

Did not show up - do not recommend
I had booked Live Authentically over a year before my wedding. Due to COVID I had to change the date and they did which I greatly appreciate.
I had communicated with Live Authentically up until the day of my Wedding. We discussed the wedding day timeline and details and they suggested I hire them for an extra hour which I agreed. I clarified with them the method of payment they would like, since I had written a check. They did not want a check, despite the contract stating "Any form of payment is acceptable (Cash, Check, Venmo, Money Transfer, etc.)." I also emailed asking them when they would like the final payment and they responded the week of my wedding. So I paid them before my wedding day via the requested payment method.
I had also emailed asking about the name of the videographer, they said they would get back to me but never did. As per the contract, I had paid for their dinner, in addition to the rental costs (chair, napkins, glassware). We even had a name place and gift prepared for them.
My Wedding day arrived and it was past the time that they said they would arrive. After multiple attempts of communication by our day of coordinator they answered and responded that someone is on their way, they are running late and should be there by 2:30pm. I had also emailed them asking them where they were. 2:30pm arrived and no one had showed up. Again, after multiple attempts of communication they answered and said no one will be coming with no explanation.
They caused a lot of stress to myself as the bride, the groom, as well as our photographer, family and day of coordinator. They have cost us a financial loss by not showing up.
I then spent time after my wedding following up and trying to get my refund. After asking them multiple times, they sent it.
I would not recommend booking with them.
