  Little wedding works: neighborhood business with long-standing track record and great professionalism!

  I am writing to highly recommend Little Wedding Works – Barbera And Gina for any wedding or event. My husband and I hired them for our wedding on September 17th, and they did a phenomenal job!
  
  From the very beginning, Barbara and Gina were incredibly professional and easy to work with. They took the time to understand our vision for our wedding day, and they helped us to create a beautiful and unique design. They were also very flexible and accommodating, and they were always willing to go the extra mile.
  
  We were absolutely stunned by the flowers and décor on our wedding day. Everything was even more beautiful than we had imagined. The bouquets were stunning, the centerpieces were elegant, and the ceremony and reception spaces were simply breathtaking.
  
  Our guests were all so impressed with the flowers and décor, and we received so many compliments. Barbara and Gina truly helped to make our wedding day unforgettable.

  Beautiful!

  Little Wedding Works has done my events since I was a child, including my communion party and Sweet 16. My mom even used them for my bridal shower! It was a no-brainer that we would use their services for our wedding. They were super easy to work with and prepared everything exactly how we pictured it. They got everything done timely and ensured we were happy with how everything came out. Despite the pandemic, this small business delivered amazing quality work! Highly recommend for all paper goods needed for your big day!

  My family has been using Little Wedding Works forever. These ladies have known me since I was a little girl and I am so excited to have booked them for my wedding. I just placed my order today. Barbara was beyond helpful and had so many suggestions, which I truly appreciated since I didn't know anything about etiquette and sometimes I just didn't know what I wanted. The samples were all beautiful and I'm so excited to receive my proof in a week. She even said she would mail it to me in Staten Island so I don't have to go over the bridge again. Love these ladies!!!!

  Like many couples my husband and I had a budget that we needed to stick to for our invitations, favors and flowers, but of course I had my heart set on certain things for our wedding. Little Wedding Works made everything I had my heart set on a reality, and we didn't go over budget. These girls were so helpful and creative. They were patient and kind, and just kept coming up with beautiful ideas. Not only were thier ideas and designs great, but the finished products the day of our wedding were stunning. Everything I wanted was created. We received so many compliments on our of our reception decor. The catering hall looked beautiful. The staff at little wedding works is very talented and they made thus part if the wedding planning process stress free!!!!!!! Thanks Barbara and Gina and the Little Wedding Works staff.

  Stunning Work!! I don't know why these girls do not have their own TV show. They were so easy to work with, they were super patient, they had amazing ideas, they worked with me so I got the most out of my budget. I can't say enough, they did an amazing job... Thanks Little Wedding Works!!!

  Made my wedding absolutely beautiful. They provided me with everything I expected and more!!! These girls are fabulous to work with. Even when I was having moments of bridal mania, they were patient and kind. I recommend them to everyone. If you want superb customer service and beautiful work go to Little Wedding Works!!!

  GREAT!!! GREAT!!! These girls are wonderful. From the start with my wedding invitations, they created spectacular wedding invitations that exceeded all my expectations. The flowers for my wedding were described to me over and over again as stunning. Barbara and Gina were so patient, they guided me on what would look best at my reception venue, what type of flowers would match my girl's dresses, they didn't pressure me into purchasing anything and everything, and they made it fun!!! I highly recommend Little Wedding Works!!

  I got married a little over a year ago and used little wedding works for my favors (bottles of wine), place cards, and cones with petals in them to throw instead of rice. When you first enter the store, there are favors and things everywhere, but I enjoyed walking around looking at all the different items while the owners were in the back working. When I spoke to one of them, I told her what I wanted and we discussed prices and what she could do. I visited the place a few more times before the wedding to finalize my order, as well as bring my wine bottles in. I have to say, my favors were beautiful with ersonalized tags on each and a place card attached to the top- all in matching fonts and colors, which matched my wedding theme. When my mom and I arrived to pick up the order, we started loading the car with the heavy boxes of wine bottles and the owners insisted that I sit back and relax, as I was the bride and shouldn't have to do the heavy lifting. They were very sweet and easy to work with. I would recommend them and use them again. They are more budget friendly than others in the same business and do a beautiful job.

  My wedding invitations were beautiful, but they did not provide the tissue paper inserts that prevent the ink from smudging when the invitations are in the mail. As a result, many of my guests received a smudged invitation :(
  I also ordered name ribbons from this vendor. I requested the same font as my invitations (Citadel). When the ribbons arrived, the font was very difficult to read. The woman was very defensive, saying that it looked that way because Citadel is a script font. She refused to refund my money because I had requested the specific font. Well, I don't have experience with printed ribbons, so maybe she should have warned against selecting a script font if that usually results in illegible wording! In the end, she reprinted them in a different font at cost. I was annoyed, but I just went ahead with the order because I'd already spent enough money at the place and didn't want to bother with another vendor at that point.

  Got my invitations...not a lot of choices but the price was okay. The quality was ok too...some of the invitations weren't cut great and I wanted raised ink but they don't offer that here...however, it did the job and took about a week so not so bad. Barbara was nice.

  DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR! My centerpieces and bouquets were nothign like the sample they made me. They rush you in and out and make you promises they wont fulfill.

  These two sisters who run this place have no brains. Long story short, they put together an invitation for my wedding with little input from me (every time I wanted to talk she would interrupt me and tell me "I'm the professional, let me handle everything"). Well, after this "professional" produced my invitations, she left out the TIME of the ceremony! When confronted, they didn't acknowledge the mistake, they just invited us to take them to COURT instead of offering a mutually beneficial fix. The girl Gina actually said "don't waste your time, we always win in court". I supposed they get taken to court often for their negligence. They lost a repeat customer. I got my Engagement invitations done there and I would have been getting a lot more done which they will lose all that business. I'm so passionate about how badly they treated us, I will be telling EVERYONE i encounter in the Bay Ridge area about them. I imagine their mother would be embarrassed of what they are doing to the business she started so many years ago.

  If your looking for hot air and unprofessional this is the place for you! There are two sisters running this place, and I used them for my wedding. Unfortunately what we had discussed and what I had paid for was not what occurred. My wedding bouquet had dead roses on them, my cones with flower petals had fake flower petals in them. My flower girl got a flower ball that was bigger than she was and looked like it was ordered online. My throw away bouquet which was supposed to be made up of silk flowers with according to Gina will have 'long flowing strings that when the photographer takes the picture it will look amazing', ended up being real roses that didn't even match my décor.
  
  Upon calling the shop, I get Barbara on the phone. I told her I was disappointed and wanted to know what happened, she gave me a song and dance that she didn't know what I was talking about in regards to my bouquet, and I should have paid for a second bouquet. (My bridesmaids bouquet stood the test of heat and time and had non dead flowers on them) so clearly they put dead flowers in my bouquet. For my throw away bouquet, first Barbara said they didn't have it, then she said she forgot it, then she said she brought roses at a florist near the venue and that it was free so I shouldn't be questioning what I got. Not once during this conversation did she apologize, instead I got "What do you want me to do?" My response was at least an apology and not an argument of you defending yourself for not doing what was ordered. After I said that she apologized twice and said there is nothing I can do for you and hung up the phone. The review by Jennifer D below with the response directly from the business is and example of how they treat customers. Bottom line is I should have read the reviews before committing to services with them.

  I ordered magnet save the dates and was under the impression I would get magnet save the dates. They provided me with a sample w/o the magnet which was to my satisfaction, however when I received the cards it was a 4x6 photo with a magnet strip not a full magnet. They looked cheap but unfortunately I had no time to redo them. I paid what I would have for a full magnetic at any other business. I was very disappointed considering my husband and I had used them on a few other occasions. They also wouldn't show me nicer quality invitations treating us as if we couldn't afford them and rushed us. Luckily I saw the save the dates before I decided on any and went elsewhere and got beautiful invitations for which I paid over $2000 for and they could've had that business if they had been more professional.

  HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE and did I mention HORRIBLE!!! This is the worst service I have ever received. We did not get "fresh flowers" as we were told we would. The delivery to the church was late and the bouquets were wilted when they arrived to my house...which was also late. The service at this place was disgusting when I called to advise about the flowers... I was not even asking for any money back, just letting them know that I was not satisfied. I spoke to Barbara who was very unproffessional and blamed me for not calling before the ceremony...on my own wedding day! She stated, she would have replaced all 3 bouquets, flower girl petals and 5 boutiniers an hour and a half before the wedding... she must be a miracle worker! She was rude. I would NEVER recommend this vendor to anyone. Over priced and not worth it.
