Lis was an absolute pleasure to work with. She met with me in person prior to me hiring her, which was important to me, and I appreciated getting to know her and chatting with her about our wedding. She was really easy to reach and she was willing to work within our budget, which was especially kind of her given some expensive medical issues going on in my family at the moment. She was the perfect balance of blending in and taking candid shots as well as getting groups together for posed pictures. She also got some amazingly beautiful pictures of my husband and me. We are sort of awkward at taking pictures but with her direction, they really turned out stunning. We now have 700 photos in an easily accessible online gallery to print and post as we please. Thank you Lis!

I could not have picked a better photographer to capture our special day (as well as our engagement photos)! Lis was professional and incredibly knowledgeable. She was so organized and thorough that I had no fear of missing out on special moments because she was always (discretely) there to capture every precious second. I would recommend her 100 times over to ANYONE looking for a photographer. I was floored by the quality of her photographs and how she made ordinary things seem so ethereal. She is truly talented!

We had Lis do our wedding pictures this April. She is exceptional! She can take a normal place and make it look magical in all pictures! My family and I loved the quality of her work, and would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Lis was thorough and organized the whole time, and she was able to deliver the photographs quite promptly as well. We are very grateful that we picked someone like her for our big day.

Lis was so wonderful to work with! She was fun and flexible. Her presence enhanced the day, instead of taking away from it. Best of all, our wedding pictures are beautiful and unique- not the same tired poses everyone else has. I HIGHLY recommend Lis and will definitely hire her for our next family event!

We hired Liz to do our wedding photos. These are the best photos that i have ever taken by far. They were simply amazimg. She worked with us to capture ever special moment! She went above and beyond to get the type of shots that we will always remember. I would very much recommend her for any event that you want to memorialize with some amazing photos!

Lis is a ninja photographer! No, seriously - she is! We met with her approximately a year in advance of our wedding because we wanted to make sure we found the right person. Being the completely out of the box couple we are, we explained to Lis during our meeting that we are having a big azz party that just happens to follow a wedding ceremony. Being a lesbian couple we didnt want to follow tradition and we discussed the vibe we wanted to invoke for our wedding and she picked up on it immediately. She showed us examples of her work and they were somewhat in line with what we wanted which gave us the feeling that she could execute what we were looking for. We specifically wanted a lot of candid shots of our family and friends dancing, having a good time and and just got an overall relaxed vibe.

We scheduled an e-shoot with her which we shot during Halloween weekend 2014 which was so much fun! And I love the fact that Lis is a petite little thing but is surely a spitfire and doesnt mind being bold to get her shot! Our wedding day came around and she showed up at the hotel all smiles and ready to get into it. I really dont recall seeing much of her outside of the formal shots lol but I do remember hearing her voice asking us to get into specific positions. We even asked her to do something outside the norm for our ceremony - we had a circle of LOVE and wanted her to capture photos from a ladder. Without hesitation she said: as long as it doesnt endanger her or anyone else, she is game - and she did JUST THAT!

The first couple of previews she sent us blew my mind and after we saw the full gallery I teared up with each passing picture because I could recall that exact moment! She captured so many intimate moments and our guests said she was absolutely awesome. We are very thankful that we chose her.

Lis, thank you so much for perfectly capturing our wedding day!

We were extremely happy with the service we received from Lisabeth Christy Photography! We decided early on that we didn't need a lot of the "traditional" wedding shots since we had no wedding party and we didn't need photos of us getting ready for the event. Lisabeth understood completely and tailored her services to meet our needs. Lisabeth and her assistant were personable, professional and extremely accommodating throughout the wedding and reception and the resulting photographs are beautiful. I highly recommend her.

We are so glad we hired Lis as our wedding photographer! She has a very easy going personality that is sure to put any couple at ease and the talent to provide them with lasting memories. From our engagement photo session to the wedding day, we really enjoyed our time with her and the photographs that resulted from it! We cannot say enough amazing things about Lisabeth! We had a surprise wedding on the 4th of July and Lisabeth captured our day perfectly! She was so easy going, flexible, and our guests are raving about the pictures!!

Lis was fantastic. Our photos were beautiful and she managed to make two people who are just totally uncomfortable in front of a camera feel relaxed and have fun. She made us look like movie stars! She was really flexible on the day, accommodating my request that we take a picture with all the tables (which was kinda crazy but important to us). She also knew when to just say, trust me, you'll want this.... and she was right. She fit right in and was so easy to be around, which I think is huge when you're with someone for hours and hours. She even dealt with some MOB drama with grace and professionalism.

I would recommend her to anyone!

Lis is an amazing photographer and a delight to work with. She really understood what we were looking for for our engagement and our big day photos. We are very outdoorsy and laid back, and we now have gorgeous photos in fields, near ponds and on country roads that are so 'us'. We didn't want 'posed' photos, and she gave us hints that I have carried on with taking personal photos. She was so flexible and had such great advice to ease our nerves and open up to let our true selves show in each picture. She was always there for me when I had questions about outfit choice for the engagement photos and our timeline for the big day. Lis is so friendly and warm, I feel like I have a new friend, that just happens to be so very talented. We got the pictures back and I've just been pouring over them, they are so breathtaking! I couldn't recommend her more to anyone who needs beautiful memories from any occasion!

Lis took our engagement and wedding photos. The pictures are beautiful and she was wonderful to work with! What more can you ask for? She met with us multiple times to make sure we were comfortable with her and to make sure we were on the same page regarding the wedding. And we had so much fun at the engagement shoot and the wedding day shoot! She also worked hard behind the scenes to get us great candid shots! We are so happy that we met Lis and that she was part of our special day!

Lisabeth was absolutely amazing to work with: friendly, personable, highly professional, very easy to get in touch with, through with answering all of our questions, and attentive to our wishes. Having interviewed several vendor before Lis, we were immediately impressed with her photo style and quality, her professionalism, and, honestly, we just clicked right away. We were very happy Lis was willing to work with our budget and felt that she was looking out for our best interests as she would pass the information on the albums discount promos when she learned about them.
Lis goes out of her way to deliver superb service: without our asking, she went ahead and visited our venue the day before the event to check it out and be prepared to take the pictures the next day. Who else does that?! On the day of, Lis wasn't supposed to start until half an hour before the ceremony, but arrived at the venue 2 hours prior, before we ourselves got there. Amazing.
And, of course, nothing beats having the best photos that we absolutely love. Thank you, Lis!

Choosing a wedding photographer was something my wife and I put a lot of time and effort into. We looked through dozens of options online and had several face to face interviews before finally choosing Lisabeth. She had great reviews, but what we really liked was her "photo-journalistic" style. We wanted someone to capture the story of our wedding without relying on too many posed, "in your face" type of pictures. She did an awesome job with the formal pictures, but, more importantly to us, she was able capture the true essence of our day from beginning to end by simply stepping back and knowing when and where to shoot.

We chose Lisabeth for her "artistic eye"- the natural instinct that great photographers from any line of work have. It doesn't matter how expensive the photographer's camera is or how good they are at lighting and composition, the natural talent to be able to spot a great picture and being able to capture that moment before it's gone is something that can't be bought or taught. Based the examples of some of Lisabeth's work we gambled that she would be our best choice in this regard.

I'm very happy to say we chose wisely. Lisabeth did not disappoint. She is obviously very passionate about what she does and that passion comes through in her work. We knew we were going to get a vast quantity of photos from the 12 hours she spent with us on our wedding day and we were hoping to get several dozen "gem" photos that stood out as exceptional. Instead of several dozen, we have several hundred.

Lisabeth is also very professional and easy to work with. She follows through with what she says she will do and is extremely responsive. We planned our wedding ourselves and now that I have been through the whole thing, I can say that these attributes shouldn't be overlooked in any wedding vendor.

My wife and I both agree Lisabeth was one of the best investments we made for our wedding and we absolutely recommend her.

I greatly enjoyed working with Lisabeth. She was easy to communicate with and most importantly the pictures of our wedding turned out fantastic! She brought along many different lighting set ups to get just the right shots. It rained on our wedding day but she was able to get us out for a few outdoor shots between showers and even dried benches for us to sit on. We have so many wonderful pictures from our day. She has a great eye and everyone who has seen our pictures loved them.

Amazing photographer!! Lis captured our wedding with creativity that tells a story of the day. From the very first phone call Lis was professional, engaging, warm and accommodating. Our photos captured the beautiful landscaping and lovely old buildings of the vineyard where are event took place. I have hired many photographers over the years for my daughter's weddings and Lis has them all beat. Save the search and call Lis!!!!

I wanted some nice outdoor photographs of my granddaughters. One of them is 17, and wanted senior portraits, and one was 13, and wanted facebook photos and ones that her parents and friends would love. She also took photos of my 23 year grandson for his portfolio.

She was very patient and accomodating by putting teens, and one older grandson at ease enough to get some great shots. All three also picked one photo that their mother used on Xmas cards. Needless to say, her expertise and professional demeanor was what was needed to help all of them look their best. We are all thrilled!

It was actually our engagement photos and Lisabeth was fantastic. We wanted it to be a surprise for my better half, so she laid low in the background while we walked by out spot. Lisabeth couldn't have been more helpful. She met with me beforehand to chart our path. And of course the pictures came out great. Lisabeth Christy was a fabulous photographer. She shot our children, and we came away with images that were completely unexpected and original. She captured everything and more. We never cease to get a compliment on our photos from anyone who enters our home. She went above and beyond our expectations, and was a joy with the kids. She made us all feel relaxed, and as a result our images were real and unscripted. I cannot express how happy we were with her work. Everything was original, artistic and never had a studio feel. I hired Lisabeth to take senior portraits of my daughter after seeing her work for my friend's wedding. My daughter is camera shy and has never liked any of her photos over the years. Lisabeth was so nice and she was able to help my daughter relax after a few minutes. The resulting photos were breathtaking and my daughter had an immediate boost of confidence. Our friends and neighbors have all been asking us about them, since a lot of the senior girls were not completely satisfied with the school's photographer. We will treasure Lisabeth's portraits. They are beautiful!!

I would like to say one thing first. The pictures Lisabeth took of my wedding are amazing!! Lisabeth was always on top of everything.She also took are engagement photos and those are amazing as well. Lisabeth is so easy to work with. I was also very happy that we got all of ours photos Hundreds very soon after the wedding. My wife and I looked through many photographers and stumped on Lisabeth. The pictures on her web site were very unique and artistically beautiful. When we finally sat down with her and told her about our ideas she was very supportive from the very beginning and worked closely with us on planning out the wedding. For example, we wanted to give each guest a souvenir by printing out formal picture with us on the day of the wedding. Lisabeth and her partner worked tirelessly over dinner to print over a hundred pictures so that we were able to hand it out at the end of the reception. During the ceremony and reception both were very discrete, but managed to take wonderful pictures capturing all important moments. When everything was over Lisabeth sent us 14 DVDs worth of touched up beautiful pictures.

Not only is Lisabeth professional, but every picture she and her partner took captured the emotion and atmosphere of the moment. Many times the pictures showed us different views and angles that made it very exciting to look at the pictures.

I used Lisabeth Christy Photography for my June 2011 wedding. Everything went to smoothly. I barely noticed that she and her assistant were there, but at the same time they captured so many moments throughout the night. We actually had another photographer that cancelled on us, and Lisabeth came to our rescue. After dealing with both, she is so professional and easy to work with. Lisabeth went to our church and reception site ahead of time to check out the lighting, good spots for formal photos, etc. No other photographer I contacted even mentioned that they would do this. Needless to say, I would recommend for any future brides!

Lisabeth is an amazing photographer! We initially read about her on a wedding blog, then looked at her work on her website and Facebook. Her pictures are simply breathtaking! After speaking with her, everything just felt right so we booked her right away.

Lisabeth is organized, on time, and super professional. She was also kind enough to make the trip to Savannah for our wedding. Our friends and family loved working with her as well, and we get a ridiculous amount of compliments on our photos. The best part is she asked what we wanted, captured our moments, and let us enjoy our day without posing us or creating cheesy, cliche wedding photos. Our pictures are romantic and timeless...did I mention that we love them?

It's been two months and we still look at our pictures everyday! She captured absolutely stunning moments with incredible lighting. Thanks Lis, you're the best!!

A loud shout out to Lisabeth and her assistant!
My new husband and I were SO pleased with their work! I couldn't meet with her before our wedding day due to distance, but she gave me such assurance and was flexible enough to work around her schedule to be in town to shoot our wedding. The photos we got from her are gorgeous, and I could not have asked for a more creative, confident, and skilled photographer for our wedding- for a cost dynamically lower than any other photographer I looked into (and there were many)! We had a very late start to our wedding, with a few very unexpected occurrences which brought the innovation of Lisabeth into the spotlight! She excelled with flying colors! She is a flexible and pleasant person to work with, making everyone around her at ease and comfortable.

Lis photographed our March wedding in Baltimore - would could not be happier with the result. Her pictures are gorgeous, and captured all of the important moments of the day perfectly.

Lis was helpful, professional and kind. She took the time to make someone who is not super comfortable having their picture taking (ME!) feel great and less nervous. I would recommend her to anyone in the Baltimore/DC area who is looking for unique and beautiful pictures.

Lisabeth Christy shot out wedding on January 15, 2011 in Savannah. From our very first conversation, I knew working with her would be a great experience. I was an out-of-town bride and most of our communications were via phone calls and emails. We talked about the kinds of images I was looking for and the vision I had for our wedding photos. Lisabeth delivered that and so much more!
She answered all of my questions and gave us a very personal experience. Her knowledge, creativity, professionalism and just plain southern charm was fantastic. The two hours she shot just the two of us in the city was one of the best parts of the day. It was so much fun. I had 100% trust in her and knew our photos would be all that I imagined.
Our wedding photos are true works of art. I’ve had so many comments and compliments on how beautiful the photos are and that many should be magazine cover shots. Her ability to tell “our story” through photos and really capture the true feelings our of wedding day is something so special.
Her assistant Elliott was amazingly creative as well and we loved working with both of them.
Simply stated, Lisabeth is an artist and her work is amazing. I would highly recommend her to any bride getting married in Savannah or elsewhere. I can’t wait to have her shoot us again sometime soon.

This was the most wonderful photographer I have ever met. She responded to all my questions, kept me at ease during the whole process leading up to the wedding, and took shots that took my husband's and my breath away. My family LOVED her, and we are definitely using her for all our photography needs in the future.
Two of my bridesmaids ( friends from college ) have already gotten her info. from me. Her style of photography and the way she worked with my family, friends and me were so unforgettable!!

Words cannot describe the work of Lisabeth. I have had so many compliments on the quality of our pictures! Friends, family, and even strangers have commented on how the images look like something out of a magazine. I was married in Savannah, GA om October 23, 2010. Lisabeth helped to capture the beauty of Savannah and the wonderful memories of my wedidng!
Our expereince with Lisabeth started with an intimate meeting that really let us get to know her style and let her get to know our wants and desires for our big day. Her professionalism, creative portfolios, and attentiveness really made us feel confident in our decision.
Our first encounter with her as a photopgraoher was at our engagement shoot. It was absolutely incredible. She made us feel so comfotable and the images were spectacular. We had no idea what we wanted and gave her complete free reign...we were more than pleased with the result.
I had no doubts about the BIG DAY images. Lisabeth was one aspect of the wedding that I never stressed about. She was always on time, always had great ideas, and always had thought out the next step so that I did not have to. She did a great job of scoping out beautiful backdrops and capturing the ideal moments. I could not have asked for a better phootographer. Her assistant was amazing, as well!
I love looking at my pictures and I love showing them to everyone. I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat and would definetly use her in the future. She helped to make my day amazing and provided amazing memories that I am absolutely in love with!

We could not have asked for or dreamed of a better experience than what we got from Lisabeth Christy Photography. Lisabeth was not only an incredibly experienced and professional photographer, but also became a great friend which was a relationship I was not expecting but was immensely grateful for on my wedding day. Her inspired vision made the entire day so incredible - I didn't think twice about any of the details, just let her work her magic. And work it she did. When I saw the results of her attention to detail and careful capture of the most candid and important moments of the day, I was speechless. We now have a breathtaking collection of memories from our wedding that show the romance, love, and beauty of the day. I never realized how beautiful pictures could be and, even over a year later can't stop looking at the images she captured. I am eternally grateful for her presence and will never forget her support of us and passion for her work.

Lis is not only an amazing photographer, but such a nice person to work with too!! From the beginning to many months after, she has always been so helpful and kind. The photographs that we have from our engagement and wedding day are absolutely beautiful. Her style is very natural and relaxed, which most of the time you don't even know she is there. Lis is so fun to work with and our pictures reflect that. If your wedding pictures are as important to you as they were/are to us, then you need to work with Lisabeth Christy-- you will not be disappointed. Lisabeth is the best! I got married March 2009 and absolutely love my wedding photos! When Lisabeth met with me, she provided comfort and relief in knowing I made the right decision. She is very dependable (an trust me, not all of them in Savannah are). She took great pictures. She asks what kind of pictures YOU want and makes it happen. She went out of her way to meet me at the salon where she began the picture taking and moved on to the church. I don't think I would have been satisfied with anyone else. Trust me.....she's the one you need for the perfect wedding or any occasion. Book her. You will not regret it. ****Wendy

Lisabeth Christy is a phenomenal photographer and a wonderful person! She was super easy to work with and always made my husband and I feel comfortable even when taking more intimate pictures. She was always willing to lend a helping hand even with other vendors, being that I was new to the area. On my wedding day, Lisabeth was there in my hotel from before the makeup application to the after our wedded getaway. She caught every single, special moment from preparation to the end. Lisabeth's style captures the essense of what every girl dreams of. Her pictures and style are timeless. I will use and recommend Lisabeth Christy for any other functions in the future needing a photographer.

Lisabeth Christy is the best photographer in Savannah hands down. She was so wonderful to work with from our very first meeting! Lisabeth gave us exactly the type of pictures that we dreamed of for our wedding. She also created the most warm and comfortable environment for me and everyone that attended the wedding. Her photography style allows everyone to feel comfortable, and natural in front of the camera and it really makes for the best shots possible. Every time I called Lisabeth or emailed her she was always readily available with any of my concerns or questions. Also we received our photos and standout in a very timely manner. Lisabeth makes her clients feel like they are the most important thing on her agenda and that is because to her they are. She cares about taking the best pictures and making the experience as wonderful as it possibly can be. I will seek out Lisabeth Christy to do any event in which I would like a photographer in the future. I consider her now not just my photographer but also a friend.

Lisabeth and her assistant were such a pleasure to work with! They were flexible with our schedule, arrived early, and the bridal party even had fun working with them. Lis has a great eye for photography and the pictures turned out beautiful! I would definitely use her services again.
