This band was absolutely fantastic! They were extremely easy to work with throughout the planning phase and super responsive. They kept everyone excited and engaged throughout the wedding and even brought the bride and groom on stage which was so fun (and a surprise)! They cater to what you want and can gauge what your wedding crew wants to hear. They made sure they can pronounce all of the wedding parties' names which was extremely respectful. They seemed to have fun themselves, too! I would use them over and over again if I ever host events in the future.

We loved the band! Such a wonderful show. Everyone loved them. They let us get up on stage and sing. So fun! And only one break all night! Would definitely recommend. We will be hiring them again soon.

Bottom line: WOW - Lipstick Blonde put on a show on 9/5/15 at my daughter's wedding in Cincinnati that will NOT be forgotten!!! Our guests were amazed at the high energy they brought to the party, let alone the outrageous talent. We cannot wait to have Lipstick Blonde (Dan, Sheryl and the boys) back to the Queen City in April, 2016 for my other daughter's nuptial celebration!!

Great dance band, and even for the very few non-dancers in the crowd it was an amazing show/concert. Dan had assured me not to worry about a pre-arranged playlist and that they would just play in response to their feel for the crowd - and they read the crowd perfectly! His responsiveness in the planning process was always very good. Dan's efforts to get home from the final night of the Alan Parsons Project European Tour to play our wedding less than 24 hours later went way above and beyond the call - his backup was ready to play if needed and in fact stepped in for a couple of tunes and was first rate! Lipstick Blonde got the crowd involved at various points of the evening, highlighted with the bride and groom taking the stage. As the reception closed, the dance floor was packed and people lingered for awhile just hoping that the dancing had not really come to an end. In terms of flexibility, Lipstick Blonde listened to our requests and came through in every detail. In terms of value, I think Lipstick Blonde is a no-brainer - even after hotel rooms and reasonable travel costs, I honestly believe that I got the best possible band for my daughter's wedding at an "all-in" cost that was no more (and in many cases meaningfully less) than the other five or six Cincinnati bands that we had looked at.

But hey, the proof is in the pudding: we have booked Lipstick Blonde for a return engagement for my other daughter's wedding here in Cincinnati in April, 2016!! Can't wait.......

We can't recommend these guys enough. We scoured the local Cincinnati band scene for a while before finally deciding (thankfully) to explore Nashville and Lipstick Blonde was one of the first names we came across. From the beginning, Dan was very helpful, responsive and professional - exactly what you want in a wedding vendor. Their style is to get a feel for the room/crowd and sculpt their playlist accordingly, rather than coming in with a set and not being able to adjust on the fly. This worked out perfectly, as we had a pretty lively group that was kept on the dance floor all night. Don't be concerned for a second about what is or isn't on their song list online. We had a short list of do-not-plays and and must-plays (including some that weren't on their list) as well as some others to help them get a feel for our tastes and they put together a set that nailed it. Every guest we've talked to has raved about our band - again, we really can't recommend these guys enough.

If you are a bride and groom looking for a band that you want to lead you through the traditions that are important to you while also making sure your guests have an amazing time then you have just found the band you want! This group is amazing and professional! As a wedding planner and coordinator who has worked with many I can honestly tell you I am thrilled when I hear a couple has hired Lipstick Blondes to play at their reception and I can feel confident knowing the couple I am working with will have a wedding to remember and one guests will talk about for a long time to come! This group is so much fun and represent themselves in the most professional manner I just truly can't say enough wonderful things about them! I love looking back at video of guests while they play to see how happy everyone is!

Lipstick Blonde is the best band we have ever heard! I trusted all the previous reviews about Dan and the band and they were spot on. We met them for the first time upon entering our reception venue and they had everything under control and ready to begin. It was nice not having to worry about that! From then on it was a blast. Unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy them as much as we had liked due to photos, but everyone else partied on!! They know exactly what to do to get everyone up and dancing...young and old!! It was an awesome experience and we couldn't have imagined anyone else performing for us. After the band played their last song, the dance floor was still completely full and everyone was begging them to play more. You don't see that happen very often so that speaks very highly of this very entertaining, energetic band. They do such an awesome job of interacting with everyone and are so nice to work with!! Thank you so much for everything Lipstick Blonde!!!

Lipstick Blonde played for our wedding on August 17th. They were awesome. I was able to meet the band before the reception and they were very professional and easy to talk to. From the introduction to the last song, the dance floor was full the entire time, which was something I really wanted to be able to achieve. I had numerous guests come up to me afterwards and during the reception to say what a great band they were. I could not have been happier with hiring them and had an awesome time dancing the night away. They could play every genre of music out there, something to please each generation. I highly recommend hiring Lipstick Blonde for a wedding or any other event.

From start to finish- working with Lipstick Blonde was a complete joy. They were flexible, reliable, helpful and FUN. We had many complements after our wedding about how amazing the band was and we couldn't agree more. WOW! THE BEST BAND for a party. They chose songs on the fly that meshed perfectly with the mood of the crowd. I have never seen a more crowded dance floor and it started from the very first song and we begged for more at the end. Very professional, great sound and lights and so much fun. Of all the comments I have gotten since the party all of them start out with GREAT BAND! We are all looking for excuses for parties to book them again.

If I could have given more than 5 stars, I would have. Dan and the rest of the group were absolutely amazing! We were looking for a band that would keep the guests on the dance floor, and Lipstick Blonde did just that and more! We had so many comments from friends and family letting us know how much they loved the band! Many people who didn't usually dance were on the dance floor. No one could resist the great music and fun atmosphere that Lipstick Blonde had created on the dance floor. I was even invited to the stage to display my air guitar skills to all the guests :)

Dan was also so easy to work with. They were very professional and worked directly with the venue to figure out the tech details. Dan was also very flexible when I decided to change our first dance song at the last minute. The group was by far the best band that I have ever heard at a wedding. Absolutely nailed Journey and all my other favorites. Highly recommended if you are wanting your guests to dance and have a blast.

We engaged Lipstick Blonde for our Country Club Holiday Party in 2011, and they were FANTASTIC. A couple of members brought them back for this fund raising event for the Alton Symphony Orchestra, and we just signed up to bring Lipstick Blonde back to our Country Club for our 2012 Holiday Party. They are a BLAST, and unparalled in getting people on the dance floor for a truly memorable evening.

Lipstick Blonde performed at our Grand Banana Ball-- a fundraiser event for our town's annual Banana Festival. The event has been called the most successful party in years, due largely to the wonderful entertainment. The band was responsive to the audience and kept the crowd dancing all night long. We are definitely booking them for next year's ball as well. In a word-- outstanding!

The best of the best!

The wedding band was really important to us, one of our top 3 priorities. We listened to and looked into about 20 dfferent bands before booking. We heard about Lipstick Blonde from our photographer who works weddings every weekend. When I watched the video on their website, I found myself smiling and tapping my foot at work, and when I saw the amazing reviews, we knew we just had to have them. I was surprised at how competitive their pricing was especially since they were an out of town band, and Dan was a pleasure to work with, a real professional.

I was a little skeptical from the 5 star rating, having never heard them in person, that they may have cherry picked only the good ratings... but I came to find that that was NOT the case! They were beyond AMAZING and no one can talk about the wedding without mentioning how incredible the band was. I would put them up against any wedding band I've heard thus far. They learned our first dance songs and emceed the entire evening. They played all kinds of songs to keep everyone dancing from ACDC to Lada Gaga to Country, and they sounded great! I have never seen the dance floor so packed at any wedding I've been to, even my Nana danced all night long! It was a total party! I'm so thankful we chose Lipstick Blonde, they deserve every single star and accolade they receive.

Thank you guys for an absolutely unforgttable night. You were the cherry on top of the best night of our lives!

I was a little nervous about having a band given the diverse nature of the group in attendance but Lipstick Blonde offered a great variety and had everyone on the dance floor at one point or another. Very pleased with the result!

This was the second time I saw Lipstick Blonde & was so very impressed the second time as much as the first time. Everyone in the office has talked about how great the band was & how they would like to hear them again sometime. Loved the vocals & the song list was great. So great, you kept the dance floor packed. Oh & thanks for letting me sing one! Hope to see you again really soon!

Out of all the wonderful compliments we received from the guests at our wedding, every single person commented on how good the band was. We had a variety of people and it seemed like 95% of our party was dancing almost the entire night. the really made the evening a hit! They were also very easy to work with.

While planning the wedding...my fiance asked to be in charge of one thing...the band!!! I'm glad I married a man with such great taste :) Lipstick Blonde, you ROCK! We loved every minute of working with you!!!

Lipstick Blonde was very professional in their correspondence, set up early at our venue, were so polite and personable to us when they arrived, and they played some charming and wonderful easy listening during our reception dinner.....

but then...they GOT THE PARTY STARTED when it was time for the dancing. My husband and I are both dance floor fanatics, and wanted everyone up and on their feet during our reception. Lipstick Blonde made sure that not a soul could keep from shakin' their "groove thang!"

They sounded great! It was a small space and it wasn't too loud or too soft. Their set list was endless and AWESOME! All the favorites, but not the predictable wedding music. (Also, our friend Damien Horne is a great Nashville musician..they let him jump up on stage and perform a song!!!)

They did a phenomenal job emceeing and made our first dance, bouquet toss, guarder toss, and cake cutting so much fun. They got the crowd involved and helped everyone party the night away!

ALL of our guests keep going on and on about how much fun our reception was....THANK YOU Lipstick Blonde!!! If we had to do it a million times over again....we would choose you every time!!!!!

We didn't know too many bands so after reading several online reviews, we decided to book Lipstick Blonde for our wedding which was Oct 14, 2011. And to be 100% honest, we could not have picked a more AWESOME band. Dan was very easy to work with from the initial contact, answering any and all questions. And the night of the of the wedding was amazing. Lipstick Blonde sounds exactly like the bands they are covering. Not only that, but they are great at MC'ing and getting everyone involved and on the dance floor. Most everyone at the wedding has contacted me since to tell me how great the band was. Do yourself a favor and book Lipstick Blonde. Simply put, their performance and professionalism is off the charts!

The Lipstick Blonde Band was simply fabulous! They played for our annual dance & silent auction which is a fundraiser we have had for over 10 years. EVERYONE commented that this was the best fundraiser that we have had and how awesome the band is. We had people at our event ranging in age from 21 to 60+ and Lipstick Blonde played music that had all of them out of their chairs and working up a sweat on the dance floor. I cannot say enough good things about this great band!! We will definitely have them back!

Lipstick Blonde played for a fundraiser that I was involved in. They were so easy to work with and made this part of the function stress free.
Everyone loved the music and the high energy they brought to the event. The dance floor was full all night long.

Lipstick Blonde was fabulous. They played at our wedding in Arkansas on May 28, 2011. Our contact with them leading up to the wedding was great - they were quick to reply and were very willing to learn the few special requests we had. Even after traveling 8 hours to get to our wedding, they were very high energy and did an excellent job at getting the dance floor going! The most common question of the night was....Where did you find this band? They are awesome! We would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a band that can get people out on the dance floor and is a joy to work with....and if we could give a higher number than 5 for value we would! Thank you, Lipstick Blonde, for making our wedding reception one that everyone will remember!!!

This band is SO MUCH FUN! They played such a variety of music and are very talented. But best of all, they have great personalities that really add to the whole show. They played a party for us that included small children through senior adult ages and everyone loved them! I highly recommend Lipstick Blonde!

Lipstick Blonde was VERY professional, very large playlist and very tight.
Great presentation, great musicians, great performance.
Would recommend them very highly.
I do not think you can do any better.......

I attended the 12/31/2010 wedding of a friend and Lipstick Blonde was the band. This was the BEST band I have ever seen at a wedding.Why don't they have a record deal? Who knows? My friends (the bride and groom) could not stop raving about them.
I certainly know who I'm calling when my turn comes to walk down the aisle. Thanks Lipstick Blonde for one of the best performances I have witnessed at a wedding...

What an absolute BLAST our wedding was!!! Lipstick Blonde was such an amazing FUN band to work with!! They were recommended to us by a work associate and I am so so glad we gave them a call! I think they might know every great dance tune ever written, ever. Or close to it... EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night, Including my 74 year old grandmother who is not typically known to be so "funky" ha! Not to mention they were hilarious!! A comedy show between sets! We were all laughing so hard we were crying at times- I can't speak highly enough of these talented folks--true professionals and at a really reasonable price!! I highly recommend them for any type of event --in fact my neighborhood is planning our annual spring block party and we have already booked them for that!!! I am truly psyched to see them again and all of our family and friends are excited too! If you want one less thing to worry about, give this band a shout - you will not be disappointed! Take it from a very happy bride:) My most special day and night couldn't have been any better and Lipstick Blonde played a huge part in that! Thanks so muchguys – It really meant the world to us! Lipstick Blonde can easily be described with one word... “perfect.”

From our first contact with them, they were professional and friendly, and were always a joy to work with. They took the time to learn about our musical preferences, and the atmosphere we wanted to create. As soon as we started to speak with them, we knew we were working with true professionals.

They arrived to our venue exactly as promised, and coordinated extremely well with the event coordinator, never giving us any reason to worry about a thing. We met with them very briefly before our ceremony, and it was immediately obvious that they had everything together and were ready to go.

The band had learned our first song, and played it beautifully. They were able to keep our guests entertained from the moment they stepped on stage, while people were eating and chatting. And then something magical happened...

...the mild mannered band that had played a beautiful ballad, for us and our guests, cranked up the volume and unleashed the gods of rock. For over three hours, Lipstick Blonde performed one of the most spectacular sets any of us had ever heard. Every song they played was perfect. There was not a single person who could resist the urge to dance. Our wedding reception was transformed into a world class party, solely by this amazing band.

Additionally, as our wedding was on New Years Eve, the band performed a countdown and toast at midnight. Both were absolutely perfect, and increased the energy in the room even further. My brother wanted to do something extra special for us, and coordinated with the band to play a couple of our favorite songs, Pride and Joy by Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. While neither of these are traditional wedding songs, the band was able to integrate him so seamlessly, they brought the house down with both. At one point, Dan was playing with a beer bottle while my Brother strummed. Our guests went absolutely nuts. They simply could not have done a better job.

If you want to turn your wedding into an epic party that you will never forget, there is only one band for the job. Lipstick Blonde.

As the father of the groom, my son approached me about helping him find a band for their wedding. Since the wedding was to have been held on New Year's Eve, we needed a band that would transform a wedding reception into a New Year's eve party.

Did we ever make the right choice! Lipstick Blonde was incredibly professional and accommodating and can they ever play! I love some of the songs they played and their performance was every bit as good as the original song, actually better, because it was live.

We also had a second, rather unusual request. One of our sons is a guitar player and wanted to accompany the band in a few songs. They seamlessly integrated his performance into their playing in a way that was simply terrific.

Saturday, after our hangovers started going away, the big topic of
conversation was Lipstick Blonde, and how they turned the wedding
reception/New Year's eve party into a spectacular bash none of us will
ever forget. The accolades were universal - not only from the "kids",
but also the "grannies". Lipstick Blond really raised the bar.

I was the best man at a wedding where Lipstick Blonde recently performed. I have the utmost respect for these guys.

In addition to their impressive musical abilities, the band members were friendly and involved in the party while acting like professionals.

They also took care of a number of technical issues caused by the hotel without mentioning a word to us. (I only know because I was listening to their sound check in the corner of the room!) I highly recommend this band.

Band was fantastic! provided a perfect blend of modern and classic rock and pop. The whole place was dancing the entire time and did not want to go home!
