Lipstick and Brides was such an important part of our wedding this September. Hana led our hair team and Mikayla led our make-up team - they were both phenomenal! The team was sweet and relatable and made our getting ready experience so special. By far, the most frequent compliment I got from our guests was that our hair and make-up team knew what they were doing because the girls looked amazing and everything held up all night long! They absolutely nailed my inspiration photos and I felt confident and beautiful for the big day! I highly recommend this team to all future brides, you won't regret it! -

Lana is the best from the bridal trials to the day of she was so efficient and fast it was incredible! She was so patient with everyone including me while trying to get the exact look I knew my husband wanted. She does a truly great job I would recommend her to anyone! -

I must say, Lana and Angelina were ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!!! I got married about a month ago and after researching a ton on places that would travel to do hair and makeup I found them! Our wedding was in Detroit and so many place wanted ridiculous travel fees to come to our hotel and do hair and makeup…..but not Lana! She was very reasonable and what she was able to do was seriously art! When I went for my trial, her and Angelina were so much fun, crazy sweet and engaged and made me look like ……a movie star!! Fast forward to wedding day…..April 23rd 2022….they arrived timely to our suite, and were simply amazing!!! The did my 4 bridesmaids, my momma, my flower girl and me……in under 5 hours!!!!! And to say we all looked like royalty is an understatement!! If you live anywhere in metro Detroit……hire Lana and her crew!!! You will have a fantastic experience as they are fun, loving, and really skilled!!! Thank you ladies for making my wedding flawless!!! -

Wedding Day Hair and Makeup
Lipsticks and Brides was amazing! I put off booking hair and makeup and let me tell you, I got so lucky that this amazing team had availability!! Mikayla and Brenita were perfect, my bridesmaids are still raving about their wedding day looks. We got ready offsite and Mikayla and Brenita came to us. They were very timely and made the entire experience so much fun!! I would absolutely recommend this team to anyone. -

Professional, kind, wonderful, gentle, extremely talented! I can’t say enough amazing words to describe this company! The ladies made me look like a beautiful queen on my wedding day! They were on time, a little early even on my wedding day. They were fun to be around but stayed on schedule too! I highly recommend the hair and makeup trial as well, that will give you an exact idea on how you want your hair and makeup day of wedding. Perfection!
I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup the day of and after the wedding! I felt beautiful and the vision I had was brought to life! My hair and makeup gave me the confidence I wanted for my wedding day. My bridesmaids, my mother, and mother of the groom were very happy with their hair and makeup. I highly recommend their services! They were on time and kept the entire bridal party in schedule without making anybody feel stressed or rushed. -

I can normally do my own hair/makeup, but for my wedding I didn't want to be stressed out or rushed doing it all myself, and these ladies delivered. they did hair/makeup for me and my bridesmaid, and makeup for the moms as well, everyone was happy with their looks.
also thank you for dealing with my dog! he was my ring-bearer/flower dog who needs constant attention and these ladies were able to keep him calm while i got my hair/makeup done and couldn't hold him! thanks -

I absolutely loved my wedding make up. I'm not usually one to wear a lot of make up so I was nervous I might not look like myself but Angela did an amazing job making me feel like myself while also highlighting my features and making my make up stand out in pictures. My sisters wedding was Oct 5th, 2019 and we all couldn’t have been happy with the service we received. Having the team come to us was great! There were 6 bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, and the bride that got our hair done (8 total) and we all looked great! 4 of us got makeup done as well, and she listened to what we wanted and made it happen. They even ended up doing the flower girls hair for free! Communication was great throughout the whole planning process, they arrived on time, made us look great, and were all so friendly and personable. They made my sister look incredible on her big day and I highly recommend them to anyone! -

Lipstick And Brides was such a pleasure to work with. Lana and Hana are both so pleasant and receptive. I had fifteen people getting hair and makeup done for my wedding and all the stylists they brought a long to help out were awesome! We had a tight time frame and the team made it work! I could not have been happier. Makeup was so natural and they really listen to what you want. Everyone was super impressed with how their hair turned out. They also did my hair and makeup trial for my bridal shower on a Sunday which was just above and beyond. They come right to your location and work around you. Not to mention, they are so fun to hangout with and conversation is natural. Would highly recommend to any bride looking for hair and makeup who wants good communication and flawless work from their stylist!! -

I went with Lipstick and Brides for my wedding day hair and makeup crew and I am so glad I did! Not only did they make me feel and look beautiful on my wedding day, but they also made my bridal party look amazing too!! My one request was that I be ready by 3pm and the girls at Lipstick and Brides did just that and maintained schedule perfectly. They worked quickly, efficiently, and with an expert hand. Contact with Lipstick and Brides was great, they were timely, reliable, reasonably priced, and very great at their craft. I showed Lana and Hana pictures of what I envisioned, and not only did they duplicate those images, they exceeded my expectations. They were also quick to help my bridal party come up with ideas they’d love too. They made my wedding day amazing and stress-free and I looked great. -

Highly Recommend
Lipstick and Brides did a great job getting me, my bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law ready for my big day. They made our makeup look natural and beautiful. I still looked like myself, but with a little extra glam. Also, I showed them a picture of what I wanted done with my hair and they pulled it off perfectly! I highly suggest doing a hair and makeup trial before your big day. They knew exactly what I wanted and there was no stress when the wedding day came. -

My wedding day was so rainy and windy, it was so nice to not have to go out to a salon to get my hair and make-up done. I definitely recommend hiring Hana to do your hair! She does great work and her prices are very reasonable!!

Lipstick and Brides was one of the best vendors we hired for our wedding! They were very timely and professional. Their fees are pretty reasonable for industry standards and they traveled to our location for just a small fee. The only bad part was that someone backed out of hair/makeup last minute and was still charged for it, which I understand but it was a bummer to lose $140. Other than that, they did an amazing job with both my hair and makeup and the bridal party’s. One of my bridesmaids even said it was better than makeup for her wedding. Everyone was complimenting us. I highly recommend them! -
