LionsRoad Studios was instrumental in creating the environment we wanted for our wedding! Our DJ perfectly captured the energy we wanted and ensured that everything ran flawlessly throughout the night! From the ceremony presentation to the dance floor, LionsRoad’s expertise, customer service, and energy helped take our wedding to the next level. We cannot recommend LionsRoad enough and both agree that our special day would not have been the same without LionsRoad Studios.

Michael was our assigned DJ and he was great! Our music flowed in the ceremony, the reception music he chose to play was perfect. If we'd had more guests that were dancers and partiers then it would have been even better, but try as he might we just couldn't get our friends to stay out there. It was definitely no fault of Michael's. He was great and we'd recommend them to anyone needing DJ services.

Great! Played all of our playlist!!

The DJ was great about listening to what we wanted played at our wedding and was more than happy to take requests from the guests as well! I've been to some weddings were the DJs played the same 6 songs and wouldn't listen to requests even from the bride and groom! I'm happy to say this company made everything flawless!

Hugo is the Best!

We booked Lionsroad for our September 2020 wedding. Great service! My husband and I also took the dance lessons because we had NO idea how to dance together and my now husband is an introvert and hates dancing. But, Hugo made it easy and fun and my husband actually enjoyed learning to dance together and we killed it at our wedding! Highly recommend the DJ service and the dance lessons! Everyone had a lot of fun because of Hugo and he even taught us a new group dance! So fun! 10/10

Great DJ Service

Picking a DJ was easy for us--LionsRoad! Michael was so great to work with from beginning to end. They were just what we needed with our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception setups. He was quick to respond with any requests the night of the event and made the reception so much fun. We would choose them again and again.

You all helped make our day amazing! From dance lessons to Mike assisting the cellist and violist to hook up to the sound system for the ceremony, to setting the mood for the dinner afterwards, and then the grand exit, you all played a phenomenal part to our wedding. We really appreciated the personalization for the grand entrance and setting the party mood for the evening! Thank you!!

Easiest decision - book LionsRoad

Everyone at LionsRoad was great from the start, but Alex was our DJ and let me tell you - you want Alex! He was so much fun, kept the party going, and checked in with my husband and I throughout the night to make sure everything was going well. He knows how to read the crowd, all of my guests couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had at the reception. This is the easiest decision for you to make for your wedding - book LionsRoad.

I mean, it's Lionsroad

Hugo did my sisters wedding seven years ago, and we knew we had to hire him again for mine! His business has grown so much for a reason. We did dance lessons with him beforehand, just enough to make us look good. It was not hard to get people on the dance floor at the wedding! Our only regret is that we didn't have the venue for another hour so we could've danced more!

So Much Fun!

DJ Mike was amazing. The dance floor was full the whole night! He also did uplighting (which made The Mayo ballroom look amazing), pin lights on the cake, and a confetti cannon (which was so fun!). Highly recommend Lionsroad and DJ Mike.

Chris is the best!

Our dj was Chris and he did such a great job! He met with us beforehand and went over everything we wanted. We had friends tell us the week of our wedding they’d sing the song for our first dance instead of playing the recorded version and we told him the day of the wedding. He had no problem with it and made sure they had a mic. He had a great selection of music that fit my husband and my taste, but was also liked by our guests. My nephew danced all night long!

DJ & Videographer

I had an amazing experience with both my DJ and videography services. LionsRoad offers several awesome packages and we chose one which included videography. It was the best deal! We just received our video and it was so much more than we thought it would be! We would never have been able to afford a videographer without this package.
The music at our wedding was perfect. We had a meeting before the wedding and worked out every detail with the DJ.
Can't recommend both services enough. (also the dancing classes were awesome!)

DJ Oogo was outstanding! He is hands down the most professional and fun DJ we have met!

He also did our lighting and amazing human sized letters for our initials!

Hugo was our DJ and we could not have had a better experience! From our first meeting with him, he made us feel completely stress free and relaxed about our big day! He was an amazing dance lesson instructor and the biggest hit about our wedding!!! We had the BEST time and our guests are still mentioning to us how much fun it was over a week later. We would not have changed a single thing!

Let it be known that DJ Hugo with Lionsroad Studios is the BEST DJ ever. Not only this, they are solid believers in Christ and truly looking to serve people. DJ Hugo got out and taught everyone how to do fun dances (salsa/fun group dances), the light show was ridiculously cool (uplighting... the whole room went to the music), his set up was like nothing I'd ever seen (like a hologram touchscreen), and he was very clear and smooth with instructions. He absolutely made the evening... I wish I could throw a party just to experience that again... (In fact, you should book him and let me know where you'll be... I'm there. haha)

LionsRoad is amazing! Charity, the office manager, is very friendly and helpful. Hugo was assigned as our DJ and I can't say enough nice things about him! He was very helpful when it came to organizing our wedding and reception. After our wedding several people told us how much they loved our DJ! We had an absolute blast at our wedding and it definitely would not have been the same without Hugo! I would recommend this company to everyone!

Next to choosing our wedding date and venue, the most important (and best) decision made for our wedding was our DJ and entertainment services. For the sake of brevity I won't spend the next three hours raving on Hugo and the entire LionsRoad Media team, though I certainly could. Instead, I will just tell you that I can't imagine my wedding would've been remotely as fun or exciting without them. From the initial meeting until the very last song, my husband and I were so impressed with LionsRoad. I can confidently tell you that the entire team will take your wishes and best interest into heart while they're planning for your big day and will do everything in their power to make your dream wedding atmosphere become a reality. I'm incredibly thankful I chose Hugo and the team to be a part of our most special day. I'll continue to hire him over and over again whenever the need arises. They are the best!

We initially worked with Hugo on selecting our DJ package and he was great to work with. Very flexible in meeting times and really helped us to decide what was important to us and what we could live without in order to stay on budget. Our actual DJ was Ethan and he was fantastic! He met with us before our big day to go over all the details and he was very organized and we knew he was just what we were looking for. He was great at playing our song choices plus mixing in hits to keep the party moving when needed. He had just the right combination of out-going and fun personality without trying to take the party over- great DJ!!

Lions Road made my day! They were great to deal with from the sale's table to the dj booth! We felt like so many vendors were pushy at the wedding shows, but these guys were not, and that's honestly why we booked with them. From there, the planning was easy, our DJ met with us before the wedding, and they hit it out of the park the day of our wedding. The dance floor was full, the lighting was awesome, and even my very conservative grandparents danced the night away with us. Highly recommend!!

Having Hugo at our wedding was one of the best planning decisions we made! We did not have to worry about the sound system for the ceremony, or the reception, and he helped make sure everything ran on time! Most importantly however, he made our wedding the party we had been dreaming it would be. He lead the group in dances, and created a great party environment even though our wedding was outdoors. You should definitely book Lionsroad!

I had met with Hugo at the first meeting I had with this company and he was very thorough in explaining what was required on both sides and is a very nice, trustworthy guy. Mike was our DJ at our ceremony and reception and he did such a great job! We had lighting which really helped set the mood for our venue, a couple of songs and live music at our ceremony, and Mike did a great job at keeping the party going at the reception while playing all of the songs we had picked out (we had a lot). LionsRoad was a great company to work with and I would definitely recommend them to those planning their wedding! Everything was effortless with LionsRoad!

I went to the Tulsa wedding show in January 2016 and that's where I met Hugo - of all the vendors and other DJs that I spoke to that day, Hugo definitely stuck out - he was so genuine and was the only person there that I felt like he was not trying to just get my money, he was really wanting to make peoples' weddings wonderful. Hugo was wonderful to work with and I am so glad that he was the DJ at my wedding - so many guests told me afterwards that they had so much fun and were so impressed by him. He really helped to make the reception perfect.

Hugo is the best DJ in Tulsa! He plays every song you want and keeps the flow of the reception, which is very valuable. He was great at making everyone get up and dance and lead a group dance which was so fun! I cannot recommend Hugo enough, he will make your night one to remember!

I absolutely loved having Hugo/LionsRoad as my dj! He was truly the life of the party! The dance lessons was completely worth it, me and my now husband invited his mom and my dad to join us! He gives you the tools to create your own dance which was perfect!

If you're looking for the ultimate DJ experience then Hugo and LionsRoad Studios is the way to go! Hugo is fabulous and knows his stuff! He is very personable and makes your event feel very individualized from the lighting to the music selection. We personally used LionsRoad for our wedding reception and we were not disappointed at all with what we got, the lighting we selected was perfect, the music was everything we hoped for and the DJ/MCing was on point. We had Patrick, one of the DJs that works with Hugo as our MC/DJ for the night, he was awesome and really took into account our taste in music and the vibe of the crowd. Something that makes LionsRoad a little different from other companies is that you can mix and match your party package to fit your specific needs. So you really are getting your money's worth. We chose to take dance lessons from Hugo and had a blast! Hugo is a phenomenal teacher and makes you feel comfortable with the moves your are doing. The first dance is about you as the couple and he makes sure that you both are in your comfort zone. We strongly suggest taking the time to meet with Hugo/LionsRoad Studios, you will not be disappointed.

Lions Road took our wedding day from amazing to spectacular! 2 months later we still have people commenting on how much fun our reception was. Hugo was easy to work with and is more like family now! Working with Lionsroad and Hugo especially made the last few months of wedding planning so easy. They are so professional and really caterered to what I needed specially for our day. Hugo was fantastic! He understood what I was wanting for my reception which is difficult when I like so many different genres. He taught the crowd a new dance which everyone loved. I experienced LionsRoad Studios at a friend's wedding in 2015 and was impressed by the professionalism and polished way Hugo MC'd the reception. When I got engaged I imediately booked LionsRoad! I came to know about Hugo from LionsRoad Studios from our venue. He is their preferred guy for lighting, DJ services and more and I see exactly why; he's amazing! We booked Hugo as our DJ, videographer, sound and lighting.
Before booking we meet with Hugo personally and he helped us choose the right package. He has many packages and add-ons to fit your needs and budget. His personality is wonderful and he is super easy going and nice to work with, which is everything when it comes down to having a DJ.
One huge service we got to choose in our package was videography. You get the entire video of the ceremony and reception and a highlight video! He also has neat tricks like using a drone for ariel footage. His editing style is also very nice.
Another huge bonus was having live streaming which was so important to us because family overseas and in other states that couldn't travel and be present with us physically were able to watch live. The feed was live the entire night and not limited to just the ceremony. The video was available through a private link and remains online for about 3 weeks after the wedding so that incase anyone missed it they can watch at any time.
He created the perfect atmosphere with wall lighting, pin spotlights, and advanced dance floor lighting. The best thing was that since he is the DJ he is there not just for set up, but is there during the event to control the lighting changing it up making it more interesting instead of it just sitting there the whole night and picked up after the event.
He truly added life to the wedding. In addition to what we selected he has us and the crowed figured out 100%. He played music everyone enjoyed and got out on the dance floor himself to teach us dances and get the group dances going. He even let the groom go behind the booth and play DJ with all his fancy equipment. So many of my friends told me after the wedding how much they loved the DJ and how it made the wedding fun and energetic.

I would TOTALLY recommend Hugo/Lion's Road to anyone! Before the wedding day, Hugo was amazing and provided my fiance and I with dance lessons that made us look good, but not cheesy for our first dance. During the reception, he was amazing! I knew exactly how to subtly get the crowd going. from dinner to dancing. by the end of the evening no one was ever leaving the floor (except maybe to refill their drink). he was so amazing to work with and everyone kept asking us what DJ we used. I have had multiple friends that suggested him to me, and I am so glad they did. we also used him for lighting and it made our venue look incredible!!!!

My husband and I just got married in August and our wedding day was honestly a dream come true! We want to thank Hugo at LionsRoad Studios for such an AMAZING experience!! Hugo and his family are great friends of mine and I enjoyed working with him and his great company!! Hugo is such an awesome DJ and will not disappoint! My husband and I were a little nervous and wondering if our guests would even dance! We were so beyond happy, thanks to Hugo, for making our dance floor feel so open and fun!!! We danced through the night making great memories with each other and our many guests who joined us on the dance floor! Hugo gets out onto the dance floor to help everyone feel comfortable and have a fun time with each other! The lighting for the reception was top of the line and it was absolutely beautiful!! Hugo has made a beautiful LOVE sign that lights up and enhances the reception venue and is ideal for pictures or just a stunning look! We added the video to our package and we are so happy with how it turned out!! We will be watching it for years to come! I was so full of happy tears at the end and when Hugo told us that it was time for our send off, I cried! I did not want the night to end with our friends and family!! I was so beyond happy to have married my prince charming and to have such wonderful service from LionsRoad Studios!

Love this place. The studio is big and spacious and the DJ was on point doing what he does best and getting the people excited. I also came here to learn how to loosen up and dance a little bit for my upcoming wedding and they really helped me out there as well. Highly recommended!

Lions Road and Hugo are the whole Package! The DJing of course was top notch, however along with Lights I wanted, an Amazing LOVE sign (That made our Dance Floor the center for photos for many people) and dance lessons we took advantage of. We had the most amazing wedding along with music. Hugo was so helpful when showing my fiance and Father a few moves to help us look much better on the dance floor for our dances. Justin our DJ was so very nice and loved that they let me provide a huge list of music and played nearly all of it. I almost forgot they also were able to play our ceremony music and sound. We had an out door wedding and this helped immensely so everyone could hear. My family loves to dance (especially my 95 year old grandfather) and everyone loved the music and danced through the end of the night. Justin was also so helpful to stay later since my friends wanted to keep dancing and even played a song from a friends phone that my friend wanted that they did not have on his database. Nothing at all bad to say at any point of all our dealings with LionsRoad. Overall everything was perfect and above and beyond anything I would have thought a DJ group could do. Thank you LionsRoad, Hugo and Justin!

Everything that is said in the previous 5 star reviews is 100% true. I could go on for days about how wonderful Hugo was to my husband and I. He not only creates a great atmosphere for guests, but also truly cares for each and every one of his brides and grooms. The day of our wedding could have been a disaster due to a couple of unforeseen events with the venue, but between the photographer and Hugo, it went on without a hitch! He literally saved our day. Our venue recommended Hugo and Lions Road to us for a DJ. We then met him at the Tulsa Bridal Show and really enjoyed talking to him and liked what services he offered. We spent a year and a half planning our wedding and were able to pay a little at a time. We really felt that for the same price as some other DJ services the qualities and options we got from Lions Road was much better! Hugo made us feel more like close friends than just family. We had a lot of specific songs we wanted played during the ceremony and reception and he made it such an easy process. During our ceremony everything went great! We could not of asked for anything better! I would definitely and have recommended Lions Road to my friends.

I was fortunate enough to have Hugo DJ my wedding in July. It's overwhelming when you're beginning to plan and there are long lists of vendors online, in magazines and at bridal shows. Lions Road was recommended to me by the majority of vendors that I used and even venues that I visited but did not book. I am so thankful for their informed advice!
Hugo went above and beyond during my reception, even getting out on the dance floor to start a Columbian dance to take the crowd back to his roots. Everyone loved it, especially my husband and he isn't typically a dancer! Hugo is kind, knowledgeable and dependable. These are three qualities everyone wants in their wedding vendors, especially something as important as the music and timeline of the reception! If you are on the fence, go with Lions Road!!!

Hugo was awesome before during and after the wedding. He was able to make some last minute changes to the set up for the wedding. Everyone had a great time dancing and Hugo knows what gets the crowd going. We love the wedding videos that Hugo made to remember our day!!!

I would 150% recommend LionsRoad Studios for your wedding/reception needs! Hugo, our DJ, was so incredible to work with -- he was always so prompt in responding, very organized, and made the day-of ceremony & reception such a breeze; we never had to worry a second about the music or organization of the evening. We also used LionsRoad Studios for dance lessons to prepare for our first "couple: dance & the parents with the bride/groom dances, and Hugo was very fun in helping prepare us for the dances (which helped my fiance and father/mother-in-law feel so much more comfortable for their respective dances at the reception). I could not speak more highly of how kind and professional Hugo is -- hands down, LionsRoad Studios is an excellent choice for a DJ!

Hugo did an amazing job at our reception! Our guests had so much fun dancing and we had countless compliments on how much fun the DJ was. They especially loved the Cuban dance he taught our guests! He was engaged and involved the entire night and helped to make our wedding a memorable experience for all! He did an excellent job with the uplighting as well and helped to create the perfect ambiance. Hugo was very personable and friendly. Months later, at another wedding he not only remembered me but my parents as well. He really takes a genuine interests in his clients! He did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him to any friend getting married!!

Hugo and lionsroad are incredible! They know their music and their customers. I didn't even have to tell them what songs. I listed a genre and they did amazing! I am still getting comments on how fun the DJ was. We had all 300 guests on the dance floor at all times.

Hugo also has amazing lighting and effects to help please any personality!

We chose Lionsroad for DJ services at our wedding and they were great to work with! We had bistro lighting as well as up lighting as part of our package and it all looked fantastic. We met with our DJ about a month before the wedding and he was extremely helpful even though we were a bit undecided on music for parts of our event. He offered suggestions and followed through on those later. He also kept the reception going and worked well with our other vendors. Highly recommend!

Hugo was awesome! Not only did he keep the energy going, but he also worked a miracle! In two meetings, he got my groom from terrified to dance to looking amazing. Everyone was completely impressed with his new found dancing skills! Plus Hugo taught us all a little latin dancing at the reception. The uplighting was perfect, the sound system for ceremony was awesome. He took care of amplifying our harpist and our Pastor for ceremony, plus uplighting, monogram, dance lessons and emceeing/djing for us. Absolutely perfect!

Hugo with LionsRoad was awesome! We had dance lessons with him for our father daughter dance as well as our first dance! He did such a great job helping us get our turns down and took a video of it so we could practice it at home in our free time! At the wedding Hugo kept the dance floor hopping! He had all kinds of fun dances to do as well as great songs that lasted all night long! He has such a great personality does a fabulous job at being a DJ! Hugo is hands down the BEST DJ in Tulsa! We were absolutely thrilled to have him as our DJ for our daughter's wedding! They put up their Beautiful Bistro lights at our outdoor venue and they were beautiful!! He also taught our daughter and her new husband their "First Dance" and also helped with choreographing the Father/Daughter Dance! He also got out on the dance floor and taught all our guests (and us) how to do some of the line dances! We had so much FUN and made lots of GREAT MEMORIES - thanks to Hugo! My husband and I hired Hugo Gutierrez from LionsRoad Studios to be the DJ at our wedding. He was very friendly, easy to work with, and let me tell you, this guy knows how to throw a party! I have attended too many weddings where it is evident that the DJ was trying too hard to get people on their feet, ending up making it awkward for most guests. LionsRoad is readily available at any time to meet, and are knowledgeable about music and how to transition songs well. Also, during our reception he didn't just stand at the booth - he was out on the dance floor with us for a few songs - dancing and creating a very fun and unforgettable celebration! My husband and I came to know about LionsRoad Studios from a friend's wedding we were both in. The owner of LionsRoad Hugo, actually was the DJ that evening, we were so impressed with him. Right after we got engaged he was the first to book on our list! He is so awesome, he is very caring and compassionate about his company and the service they provide. He really does want to make his customers happy. He was always early meeting us, fully prepared, and when we didn't know exactly what we wanted not only with music and up lighting but with wedding topics as well, he had advice and references and explained all about them and what he would do. That was a huge plus for me because I can be indecisive. We took private dance lessons with him which was so fun.He gave us everything we needed to finalize our event. He is fantastic with ANY kind of crowd and this is what I think is most important. He kept everyone on their feet! Our uplighting was gorgeous, he knew exactly where to place them to make the place glow. It was beautiful. We were completely satisfied! Thank you Hugo!

Hugo was the absolute best! He went above and beyond to make sure everything turned out perfectly for our wedding. Hugo and his team handled our lighting and our video as well. We had flash floods during our wedding and he had so many suggestions to help and he kept everyone calm. Lions Road did such a great job at our wedding! The DJ was actually the owner of the company and let me tell you he was amazing!!! He went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were happy during our special day and that the guest enjoyed the music! If anyone needs a DJ for their wedding I highly recommend Lions Road!

Hugo was the perfect addition to my wedding day! He was amazing at keeping the guests dancing and entertained. Hugo is extremely professional and very friendly to the guest and to all the vendors! You won't regret hiring him for your DJ and entertainment needs!

I loved how Hugo made my reception so personal and fun! He taught everyone a fun salsa dance and got the entire group engaged together! We absolutely love Hugo and would recommend him to anyone. He is extremely knowledgeable concerning your specific needs for your specific venue.

I worked with Hugo from Lions Road and my whole experience was perfect. I first met people from Lions Road at a wedding show, and they immediately stood out. Other DJ entertainment groups were gimmicky, loud, and pushy, whereas Lions Road was attentive, personable and a pleasure to speak with and eventually hire. They always answered my emails and telephone calls right away. On the day of my wedding, Hugo helped keep me organized and on a good timeline. He played perfect party music for my guests and keep the whole party fun. Nobody left the dance floor the entire night--and I had a Tuesday wedding! Lions Road helped make my wedding and my memories perfect. Stop looking and hire them!

Hands down BEST DJ EVER!!! Hugo is so personable and helpful. He is a genuinely good person and you can tell from the moment you meet him that he is truly passionate about what he does and wants you and your guests to have a wonderful experience. We got married on NYE and the party never stopped. People were up dancing all night and Hugo even got out and taught us some Latin moves. He was fun and entertaining. I have been to many weddings where the DJ is terrible and nobody is moving around. Not with Lions Road. You will not be disappointed. I will definitely use Hugo again if I ever need a DJ for an event. I am truly grateful for the atmosphere and mood he created for our wedding. We couldn't have pulled it off without him. Don't waste your time looking for anyone else. Lions Road is where it's at!

Hugo is the best!!! We had a variety of cultures represented at our wedding, and Hugo did an excellent job of providing a variety of music to get everyone on the dance floor. He even got on the dance floor a few times with us and taught us some group dances that the crowd really seemed to enjoy! Hugo was also a huge help in organizing the reception so everything flowed well. You will not regret hiring Lionsroad for your DJing!!

Hugo is the man! My dad's company had been using LionsRoad for company work parties and events and would always comment about the great dj at them. Which is saying a lot for him! Anyway, we used Hugo and LionsRoad for my wedding last October. Hugo was wonderful to work with. He met with us a couple of times before the wedding and was full of great advice and tips (without being bossy or overbearing). At the wedding he played a great combo of music and all were fun dancing songs. His songs where he teaches a specific dance were a BLAST! Some of my best photos were when Hugo got the crowed movin' and groovin'!
If you are looking for a professional, easy-going, fun dj.... Hugo and LionsRoad is what you will want! In the end, a wedding is just one killer dance party. Or at least, it should be! And LionsRoad made that happen for us! No comlaints at all!
P.S. We used the lighting that you can purchase as part of a package with LionsRoad, and it made our reception have such a cool atmosphere (pics turned out great because of it). I highly recommend going with their lighting!

Hugo did an AMAZING job with our wedding! I wouldn't have traded his service for anyone else. He sent out a detailed list for us to fill out with all the music we wanted, at what time we wanted it, etc and he did not miss a single song which was very important to me. He was calm (which helped me!) and entertained the crowd at all the right times thought thr night. We also took dance lessons with him before the wedding and Hugo made it a lot of fun! LionsRoad is excellent in every way and worth every penny.

Hugo was amazing! We really enjoyed our dance lessons before our wedding. He taught us dance steps that helped us look like we knew how to dance! At our wedding, Hugo went above and beyond what I would expect from a DJ. He transitioned all of the night's events very well and there was never a dull moment or an empty dance floor! Hugo kept the guests entertained and was even in the dance floor during line dances!

Hugo was absolutely awesome. He played the music I wanted to hear. I was very busy planning my wedding and he reminded me to get my music done because of course that was one of many important things I had forgot. He kept the party going. The only thing I would change if I could is to have been able too party longer. There wasn't a dull moment and he also kept me on task. Thank you Hugo for your excellent entertainment

Hugo was great to work with and very organized. He did an amazing job playing music and involving the guests. I would highly recommend him! The prices were fair and the packaging allowed for some unique freedom in choices. Overall very kind, patient and very fun!
