  Melissa was absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend her services enough. She was incredibly flexible in accommodating my wife and I’s last minute elopement. We put together our ceremony within 4 days, and Melissa rolled with (and was excited for) the customizations we wanted in our intimate gathering. She provides template options (which you can customize with her) for your weddings, location and vendor suggestions and is responsive to all your needs. She’s LGBTQ+ supportive, and made us feel so warm when seeing we wanted to include a handfasting ritual in our ceremony. She takes care of all your marriage document obligations and is so communicative, friendly, warm, kind, punctual and takes any possible stress out of planning for your celebration. Melissa goes above and beyond, and if you go with any other service - you’re missing out.

  Wonderful and easy experience!

  Melissa was very easy to coordinate with and made our day very special and stress free! She had templates already made up of different vows to choose from, which took the pressure off of us, but she also allowed us to share our own personalized ones. She was professional and prepared the day of and you can tell she is very experienced. 10/10 recommend!!

  Amazing Wedding Day

  Melissa is AMAZING!!! From the moment she arrived she was very personable, friendly and very easy to talk with. The ceremony was done nicely and she walked us through signing the marriage document along with our witnesses! If you are looking for someone who feels like you have known her forever - I highly recommend Melissa.

  We couldn't have asked for a better officiant! Melissa was amazing from the first moment we texted her to the very end. She responded quickly to every question we had for her. She had recommendations for every aspect of the wedding in any price range. She was professional, showed up early, listened to our plan, and explained how the signing of the certificate would work, the witnesses, and after the ceremony, etc. She was exactly what we wanted for our ceremony!
  We did not have a back up plan for our ceremony in case of rain and she was willing to weather it out with us. She said it is just "liquid sunshine". Love the positive attitude she had and she was encouraging all the way through.

  Melissa helped us elope in less than a week! We were a little late arriving to our spot but she was very patient and welcoming. She also referred a photographer that would be available last minute as well. And she took care of all the paperwork side of things and found us witnesses, as we need 2 in Oregon and since it was so last minute we didn't have any. She also trooped it a decent walk to our beach spot which also required soft sand walking and a little bit of ankle deep water wading. We had a really wonderful small, intimate ceremony that was more perfect than I could explain. Thank you so much Melissa!

  Wonderful ceremony

  Melissa was so helpful and responsive right from the start, and she was flexible when we changed plans a couple of times. She was very professional, and have everything very organized so that our day went smoothly and beautifully.
  We took her one of her suggestions for a photographer, which ended up being a great choice as well.
  Would highly recommend.

  VERY Pleased!

  Our wedding was a small affair with friends and family. Melissa showed up on time, full of energy and was very helpful in making our event a success. We wrote custom vows and she delivered them beautifully. We were also glad that she travelled quite some distance to our event for a very reasonable fee. We will gladly recommend her to anyone planning their wedding.

  Melissa was fantastic. She beautifully, gently held the space for us. We were comfortable, relaxed, and really enjoyed ourselves! I love how she stood off to the side so we could do what felt natural- hold hands, wrap our arms around each other, etc. She was flexible when our location changed. The vows were really lovely. Everything about our ceremony was perfect.

  We decided to elope in August and in true Oregon Coast fashion, it was pouring down rain at the time of the wedding. We had originally planned to get married on the beach in front of the ocean, but I didn't want to make everyone (officiant, photographer, witness) miserable (and soaking wet). Thankfully, Melissa said that she would perform the ceremony anywhere we wanted, even if that meant we would all get drenched! That was just the attitude I needed to make the decision to head to the beach. And we did! It was a beautiful ceremony and I couldn't have asked for a more supportive officiant. Thank you Melissa!!

  Yes, the wettest wedding I performed ever, I mean we were all drenched...but wow, they were an absolutely loving couple with an adventurous spirit that inspired me.
  They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, so I am sure this will be one very lucky couple!

  Great Experience!

  My husband and I had to cancel our wedding twice because of Covid19. After waiting almost two years we decided on a whim to elope at our favorite beach. We did a quick search online to find an officiant and contacted Melissa. She was quick to respond, very helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. I appreciated her willingness to drive 30 min to our location and walk a brief distance down on the sand to where we had set up. She was a delight to work with and really helped make our day special.
