Ethel Sent on 11/01/2017Thanks to Wedding Wire, i found this florist and spoken to the owner Rebecca and she provided me with a competitive price for our flowers and during our wedding the flowers came out great. We love the colors and the centerpieces as well as the bridal flowers. It was perfect. it was simple but elegant I could not asked for more.

Sonia Sent on 09/08/2018Rebecca was the florist for our wedding day in June at the Rockleigh Country Club and she did an absolutely fantastic job!
I couldn’t believe how expensive flowers were when we initially started looking for florists and we really wanted to go with a tall and flowery centerpiece but once we saw the prices I figured we were going to have to stick with something small in order to stay in budget. Then we found Rebecca and her florist shop in West Caldwell and finally we found some reasonable prices as Rebecca was more than willing to work with us to satisfy our vision within our budget. The day of the wedding she and her staff were there 4 hours early to set up, she even organized the votive candles and anything else we needed on the tables for us when she set up the centerpieces. The only hiccup was that they forgot the corsages for the moms for the pre ceremony photos but were able to quickly run back to get them before the ceremony.
If you are looking for the best bang for your buck - Rebecca’s your girl - end of story. Thanks Rebecca for making our day look so beautiful!!!

Molly Sent on 08/15/2018Rebecca was great! I lived 1.5 hrs from her and the venue we chose but she managed to make my pinterest ideas into a reality through emails, texting, & phone calls, and she worked around my schedule of my other appointments when I did finally meet her in person. She's very sweet and personable. My wedding flowers came out even more gorgeous than i imagined! Still waiting for my professional photos but attached are some cell phone photos.

Brianne Sent on 06/12/2018Rebecca was wonderful to work with! I met with her and showed her a few things that I liked on Pinterest and she ran with it. I originally wanted white and light blue flowers, but Rebecca assured me that pink would pop against the blue dresses, and she was 100% right. She was excellent and I highly recommend this florist.

Working with Rebecca has been so unprofessional. She received our deposit and literally disappeared. We never received services, a refund, or a credit for our deposit. I have sent emails, social media messages, certified Mail, phone calls, and dropped by in person. Rebecca has avoided me at all costs, never responding to any correspondence. We have involved a lawyer and will be taking her to small claims court for our refund. Do not work with Lily of the Valley. Save your money and sanity. -

Rk Sent on 10/05/2019The Florist Who Forgot to Bring Flowers for the Flower Girl
You get what you pay for. Rebecca, who is the only person at Lily of the Valley Floral, was inflexible with delivery of flowers (we had to have deliveries to the church, and couple other places, however, she said she only makes 2 trips on the day of). She was also very pushy from the first meeting for us to put 1/3 of the final payment. Every single time we talked, she kept mentioning money and paying. I picked this vendor because of pricing, because she was the cheapest, however, everything looked cheap. The sample flowers which we saw about a month before the wedding were delayed 2 times, and when we finally saw them they were not impressive and looked old and dead. The most concerning part was that they looked old and dry, but Rebecca reassured us that all the flowers would be fresh on the day of the wedding. That was a lie. That should have been a warning for us, but we went through with the vendor since we already paid her 1/3 of the final amount. The day of the wedding she forgot the flowers for the flower girl. What kind of florist forgets the actual flowers for the flower girl? The flowers for my wife's bouquet on the day of the wedding were just like the samples: They were old, some looked dead, and they were not impressive at all. I had to ask for a refund for the flowers and inconvenience, but I got back less than $100. She was the only vendor I had a problem with on the day of the wedding. I had to yell on the phone at her 15 minutes before I got married because of all the issues she caused. She did not bring corsages for the women on my side to the correct place, but instead brought them all to where my wife was. She is not flexible. She is extremely forgetful. She asks for too much money for her services. She is too pushy with having you provide your credit card number so she can simply run it and charge it. I cannot recommend this vendor as she caused too many problems on the morning of the wedding, and the "savings" we had were not worth the headache and complaints from family members who said their flowers were not there.Lily Of The Valley Floral's reply:

Yes, we forgot the flower girl basket and we sincerely apologized for that. We also refunded you the for the flower basket. The flowers were fresh and not dead so that is not true. We never send out dead flowers. The real issue here is you wanted everything for nothing and you didn't communicate certain things until the day of. Then you call screaming and yelling about all of the corsage went to the hotel. That was your fault. We spoke the day before and you told me that the men flowers were going to the church and all of the women flowers were going to the hotel. You even sent me a text message apologizing for the miscommunication on your end and that everything looked great. I still have your text messages so please be very careful of about making false accusations. We did you a favor and gave you pew arrangements for free and did an extra stop for you for free. You had 40 centerpieces plus your personal flowers and we gave you a great deal. The problem is you wanted more then you were willing to pay for. I am never pushy for deposits we don't do that here at Lily of The Valley Floral. You wanted to add things on and didn't want to pay for them and I had to remind you that there would be an additional charge. As I stated previously this review is not true and I have all of your text messages. I understand you being upset about the flower basket and we truly apologize for that. What your really upset about is you wanted more than you were willing to pay for and that we wouldn't add in a 4th stop for you due to your miscommunication. -

Horrific Experience - Stay Away
Rebecca was hired as my wedding florist in May. She seemed really nice, open and willing to do whatever we wanted. She provided a great price when I told her everything I had envisioned for my wedding day. She was willing to deliver to my venue as well as set up. At the time, I provided her with a few pinterest photos for my vision. Rebecca took what I had and provided a price. She didn't provide any photos of HER work and said she had "too many and couldn't possibly show us" as she was scrolling through her phone. I foolishly trusted her as she told me she would send me some as soon as possible. None were ever provided even after multiple requests.
Fast forward to a couple of months later, I met with Rebecca to view a sample of 2 of my centerpieces. They were absolutely awful. Basically, she took my two pinterest photos and poorly merged them together. She had no vision. These arrangements were something I could have come up with, and I am not a "PROFESSIONAL" florist. She also told me at this meeting that one of the centerpieces is now a rental! I was not told this in the initial meeting, and it is not written anywhere in the poorly-made "contract" (a "contract" she never signed.) I went in blind. Honestly, I didn't know what to say at the time. I happened to be with my mother who had made some well-deserved critiques to Rebecca. After the meeting, I called Rebecca and spoke to her about switching things around and what I was unhappy with, but it was not without argument. I couldn't get a word in. She thought it was all from my mother, but it wasn't. Plus, even if it was, that's between my mother and me, it is none of Rebecca's business! I'm paying for her services and expertise on floral arrangements, NOTHING ELSE. She said she would meet again to look at new centerpiece samples so I asked for her availability on 9/14. She told me she would check when she got back to her office. It has been almost two weeks, and I have not heard from her on her availability.
I called Rebecca today asking to peacefully cancel the contract (which, by the way, she never signed so it's not legally binding), and to receive all of my money back. She refused and hung up on me twice before I could even get in a word. My fiance, who is active duty military, also called, and she hung up on him without even allowing him to speak. I just want my money back so I can hire another florist. Rebecca has only added to the stress of planning a wedding. All I want are nice flowers for my wedding in 2 months. She hasn't provided a service, hasn't signed her side of the contract, and is therefore stealing my money. I just want all of my money back. -
