If you’re looking for a wedding DJ who can truly bring two cultures together on the dance floor, look no further than Ian from Lifetime Entertainment. He was an absolute superstar from start to finish!
From the very beginning, Ian took the time to understand our vision – a vibrant mix of Hindi/Bollywood hits and classic American wedding songs – and he curated the perfect playlist that had everyone dancing all night long. The dance floor was never empty! On top of this, throughout the night, he would show photos from earlier in the wedding on the screen which was such a nice touch that let our guests get a sneak peak at the wedding photos during the reception.
Ian wasn’t just playing music – he was the pulse of the party. He brought incredible energy, hyped up the crowd at all the right moments, and made sure every single guest was having a blast. He even helped us create a timeline that kept the momentum going the entire night – every event transitioned smoothly, and the vibe was electric from the baraat to the very last song.
So many of our guests raved about how much fun they had and how amazing the music was – and we have Ian to thank for that. He’s professional, culturally versatile, incredibly talented, and just an all-around joy to work with.

This review is long overdue (our wedding was May 25, 2024!). I was in denial that the wedding was over for a long time!
Ian was the first and last DJ I contacted. He checked off everything we were looking for, and then some! He completely understood the type of music we were looking for – I wanted a very danceable mix, with mostly 90s to early 2000s hip-hop, r&b, reggae, and reggaeton. As soon as the music started, Ian kept the energy high and the dance floor was packed all night. He read the crowd perfectly, played our favorite songs, and seamlessly blended everything to keep the party going. The transitions were flawless, and the lighting, sound, and booth setup added an amazing touch to the atmosphere.
The sound check was one of the most memorable moments of the day for me. It was during cocktail hour – Ian took my husband and I into the reception room when all the decor, tables, and DJ booth were completely done and set. It was my first time seeing everything finally put together. He played our first dance song, and we were able to have that moment to ourselves, dancing alone on the floor – first time I cried that day. Ian also took photos of us, which he was able to edit and project on his DJ booth! I had no idea he could do that – it was beautiful and really made it feel personal to us.
To top it all off, he was one of the easiest people to talk to. He kept everything very chill but was never unprofessional. And it was all within our price point.
Ian was absolutely incredible! My husband and I never sat down – we even missed our own dinner meals because we were having too much fun! We didn’t want the night to end. Thank You Ian! -

We cannot thank Ian and his MC enough for the BEST reception ever — the dance floor was packed all night long. We truly appreciate his art and the fact that he actually DJs (instead of putting together a playlist and hitting play). He listened to our music taste and absolutely knocked it out of the park. We didn’t want it to feel like a nightclub, but we also didn’t want cookie cutter line dances or the cliché songs you hear at every wedding. Ian tied the night together effortlessly — a little Frankie Valli and Bruce Springsteen to start the night and some Chris Brown and Justin Bieber to end the night. He even mixed in a few of our favorite country hits and didn’t miss a beat.
Music was so, so important to us as we felt it could really make or break the night and we are beyond thankful we chose Ian. Thank you Ian for the party of our life — you’re the best! -

Wedding Day
I came across Ian’s team during my best friend wedding and my husband at the time immediately knew we had to have him once our day comes. And I’m so grateful we did! Ian and his crew really set the vibes so incredibly well and he knew all the right songs to play during our special day. Ian was so approachable and worked with us to help plan the most perfect day. Ian and his team really helped liven our day and probably show our guests a little piece of ourselves through the playlists and suggestions we provided him.

Words alone will not be able to describe how great DJ Ian Ali and his team were at our wedding. You will have to experience it for yourself. I have people still reaching out to me weeks after the wedding telling me how amazing my DJ was. DJ Ian’s song choices and his mixing was top notch. Our guests couldn’t even sit still during dinner because his music was too good. In fact, dancing started well before dinner. Our guests had a BLAST. DJ Ian really understood the vibe of the wedding, read the crowd and delivered!! Our MC, Eli, was also pivotal in setting the vibe. The Photobooth pictures were great quality as well. You are 1000% in good hands with him and his team. I will be recommending him to everyone who asks. -

Ian came highly highly recommended from friends who have had him for their weddings. He also worked with my photographer in the past (@oliviafaith) who had nothing but great things to say as well. Ian is down to earth, punctual and professional. My husband and I knew from our first phone call that Ian was our guy because it felt like we were talking to a family member from all the things we had in common. We're Filipino and when we described the vibe we were going for and the type of parties we throw, he said "say less." We put together a short playlist of some songs we loved to give him an idea, but really let him take the reigns because we trusted him as a professional. And man, did he and his team understand the assignment! Our guests were on their feet the whole night and it truly felt like we were in our own nightclub. It's been 4 months since the wedding and people are still raving about the music and dancing. We loved his whole team, including his sons who helped a great deal! They truly felt like we were a family reunited. If you're a couple looking for a good time, who loves early 2000s R&B/hiphop/dance/house music/reggaeton AND understands how Filipinos get down (line dancing tracks on deck), Ian is YOUR guy. We met with Ian fairly early in wedding planning and despite the time that passed, he nailed our music style PERFECTLY the day of. Our guests are still raving about him and our MC as months go by. I had very specific things I asked Ian to include such as group entrances, a tribute to my father in law, a TikTok, some songs and without much details Ian was able to include everything in our reception seamlessly. We are so grateful to Ian and the Lifetime Entertainment team for making our large wedding still detailed and intimate thanks to his music and his seamless

Look no further than Lifetime!
Ian and his team at Lifetime Entertainment brought the party to our wedding reception. Since the beginning of our planning process, Ian was incredibly attentive to our wants, perfectly understanding not only of our vibes but that of our respective cultures (Guyanese and Filipino). He was incredibly transparent and collaborative with us, communicating with us and our venue effectively every step of the way. Ian even helped me achieved the song cuts I wanted for my dance with my father. On our wedding day, the Lifetime Team masterfully provided the audio hookup for our ceremony, then quickly flipped the ceremony space for reception—with not only a DJ booth with our engagement and wedding photos on display, but also uplighting and towers in an hour’s time. We also used Lifetime for our photo booth, which our guests loved and returned to multiple times throughout the evening.

Stop searching for any other DJ, and PICK IAN. He is not one of those DJs that stick to one playlist, one genre, for the entire evening. He is amazingly talented at reading the room, and getting people to run to the dance floor! Whether it be slow love ballads, jersey club, or Filipino line dancing, Ian had me, my husband, and our friends and family partying all night. So many core memories occurred on the dance floor, and it was all thanks to Ian! -

We couldn’t have asked for a better team for our wedding. DJ Ian and MC Eli were amazing and kept the party going all night. DJ Ian was also excellent in communicating with us from start to finish. He also coordinated with one of our other entertainers to provide a seamless entertainment experience. Aside from music, we were very impressed by the many options for add-ons that left our guests in awe. Our family and friends loved the photo booth. Our first dance was made even better by the dry ice that gave us our “dancing on a cloud” moment as well the sparklers that really added the extra wow factor. The flat screens that displayed photos of us throughout the whole night really gave it that special touch. I would highly recommend anybody to book them for your next event. -

All of our friends recommended DJ Ian Ali, and we surely learned why from our first contact with him. He is super responsive, very welcoming, very professional, and very clearly has a love for his craft. We gave him some of our ideas and key songs for our special day, and he used that to fill in the rest, and really hit everything! He offers more than just music - check out his add-ons! We included a few of his add-ons such as the sparkulars, etc! It really added to the vibe we were going for! He also was flexible day of, when we changed things last minute, and he was able to accommodate. He made our day that much more special! All of our guests were raving afterwards as well. All I can say is - if you are thinking about booking Lifetime Entertainment for your wedding, do it! Wedding planning can be veryyy stressful and working with Ian was such a breeze, he is so professional and easy to work with. He and his team went above and beyond on our wedding day. Our guest were blown away during our first dance when we were dancing on the clouds & had the sparklers going - it just made everything even more special. My family loves to party and the dancefloor was full all night long!! Having our montage on the screens throughout the night was a special touch that our guest also enjoyed. But I think the biggest hit had to be the photo booth! The guest loved it & it's such a fun way for them to take photos that they can keep to remember our special day! I made the best choice by going with Lifetime Entertainment, they exceeded my expectations and I truly enjoyed working with Ian and his team! -

We went with Ian and his team at Lifetime Entertainment based off a recommendation from a friend and would make the same decision time and time again! We met with Ian briefly to discuss what we were looking for and I don't understand how he took that level of information to the perfect soundtrack for our wedding. The team was super easy to work with, guided us through anything we had questions about, his setup was gorgeous with screens and some sparklers, and my guests haven't stopped messaging me about how fun the dance floor was.
If you're looking to book at DJ for a wedding, I don't know why you'd look any further from here. 10000/10! -

We had the pleasure of working with Ian and his MC Mike Burns for our wedding in May. Ian was easy to work with during the otherwise stressful planning process and accommodated us moving our wedding 2x during Covid without issue. I don’t know where to begin with the next level experience DJ Ali and his team will create for you - they are truly that fantastic! We were lucky to have them and they took care of so many details for our Indian fusion wedding in Austin, TX - from our uplighting to music and systems, to our wedding monogram, to our dhol player, the list goes on and on. The best part of their team is how approachable they are and that they truly want to make your day as special as possible. We needed our first dance song edited and Ian not only did that, but during our dance cued cold sparklers as a surprise for us and got real time edits to showcase on our screens in the ballroom during our reception. You want to be able to trust your entertainment team to bring to life the vision in your mind and this team will go above and beyond on doing that! Our entire party was on the dance floor for hours raving about our DJ, our MC and dhol player - saying this was the best wedding they had ever been to! -

My husband and I got married 12/19/2021 and couldn’t thank Ian and Mike/DJ M-POS enough for their love and support. They are very personable and professional. Extremely understanding of immediate changes, they really saved the day helping to rent flat screen tvs to help with our best man’s speech the day of the wedding. While my husband was devastated without his best man by his side, I can see how much it meant to him to hear that speech. Outside of that, they’ve played the best music I’ve heard at any wedding, and I’m happy to say it was at mine. Definitely not some standard wedding playlist, which I’m forever grateful! Nothing like a real DJ to get it done right :) I highly recommend. -

We first heard about Lifetime from an amazing wedding we attended. When reaching out to Ian, owner and DJ, it instantly felt like a good friend taking care of us; he was so easy to work with. I had no worries leading up and on the day of. I knew we were in good hands. I also had several changes and additions through the months and Ian responded timely and made changes to the contract right away. The day of everything was seamless and perfect from the ceremony, cocktail hour, lighting, photobooth, and of course the reception. Eli, the MC had amazing energy through the night. Ian played all our requests and has an amazing way of reading the room and playing the right music at the right time. The venue also expressed how professional and easy Ian is to work with as well how beautiful the lighting was. Thank you for being part of our day and making it our best day ever. -

My wife and I got married on June 12, 2021, and we had booked Ian and his team for our DJ and MC package. Ian is such a wonderful person to work with and my wife and I agree that booking him and his team was one of the best decisions for our wedding reception. While planning all services for our wedding day, my wife and I spoke with numerous DJs. None of them could match the perfect combination of high-quality services, fair prices, and the friendly, caring, and empathetic personality that Ian brings to the table. Although we did not meet with Ian in person prior to our wedding day, we could tell that we would have a wonderful experience based on the active communication we had with Ian. Whenever we had questions, Ian was prompt in responding. If we were uncertain about anything, Ian would help us by providing suggestions that were tailored toward our preferences and our type of wedding reception. If anything needed to be addressed, Ian would walk us through the process. Ian told us he would be available pretty much whenever we needed to talk to him as we approached the wedding date, and he was readily available to speak with us on the phone. On the day of our wedding reception, everything ran smoothly. Ian understood our music selections and preferences, played everything in a timely manner, and had everyone dancing pretty much all night. Our MC, Mike, got everyone pumped up helped ensure that everyone had a blast all night long. Our package also included a monogram, sparkulars, dancing on the clouds, intelligent lighting, a photobooth, and three screens, and everything worked out perfectly. My wife and I had the opportunity to meet Ian in person on the day of our wedding and he made us feel so comfortable as soon as we met him. Although we just met him, we felt like we had been friends with him for years. If it was possible to give him more than 5 stars, we would. We have no regrets and would highly recommend Ian and his team to anyone who is looking for DJ/MC services for any type of event. Ian and the Lifetime Entertainment team were amazing! They were prompt at responses and were willing to accommodate when we had to reschedule our wedding reception due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ian was great at fulfilling all required paperwork of the venue in a timely manner. He was very easy to talk to and made us feel at ease on our special day. The music and vibe were perfection. We got the platinum package with addition of the sparklers ad dancing on the clouds ice machine, which was totally worth it! The ambience would not have been the same without it. I highly recommend Lifetime Entertainment without reservation and would use them again in the future for any special events! -

We highly, highly recommend you book Lifetime Entertainment for your wedding day. If we could afford it, we would book DJ Ian Ali and his team for every event possible. First of all, Ian is such a great, experienced DJ. We had been to multiple weddings that he also DJ’ed and always had the best time. Everyone was ready to dance all night. Even the music during dinner was a problem (in a good way) because we all wanted to dance instead of finish our food.
The packages are straight forward and Lifetime Ent. has everything you could want from a DJ and entertainment vendor. Ian is very open to song requests and gets to know you and your style to ensure you and your loved ones have a great event. For our wedding, Lifetime Ent. supplied multiple screens with towers, colorful light display, audio including for our videographer to connect to, photo booth, sparkulars, and the fog machine for the “dancing on clouds” effect. If you can, request Benny to be your MC! His vibes were awesome all night and until this day, we keep calling him Benny Benassi. He and Ian kept everyone dancing and it became a night we will always remember. Disclosure: He is not actually Benny Benassi, haha.
There is no question that Ian and his team have been doing this for some time and do it well. Entertainment was a priority in our wedding planning because it sets the tone for the whole night – DJ, MC – all of it. But what struck us the most from the beginning is that Ian is so down to earth and easy to work with. Very professional, he follows up and makes sure you have everything you need. Definitely the heart of the company and we can’t say enough how grateful we are for his time and service! -

Ian and his team were the best! I have had the privilege of experiencing his work at a friend's wedding a few years ago and knew that I had to have him as my DJ for whenever I was going to get married. My wedding came sooner than I thought and luckily he was available for mine and my now husband's wedding day! The music was obviously fire, Michael kept the energy up and was very personable with the guests he did interact with. So many guests had a lot of fun with the photo booth as well. Highly, highly recommend Ian and his team for your wedding day and/or event - you will definitely not be disappointed!! We seriously cannot thank them enough! -

We absolutely LOVED Ian & MC Benny !!! 1000% recommend Lifetime Entertainment! Ian was so awesome through the entire process from booking & having to reschedule to our final meeting and of course the day of!!!! He went above and beyond and provided us everything we wanted and more!!! We had the three screen package, dancing on the clouds, SPARKLERS!!!, a monogram on the wall of our venue, a photo booth and a display of one of our engagement photos on the wall that was huge!!! Our guests and of course us were stunned by how amazing everything was!! DJ Ian & Benny knew exactly how to get everyone on the dance floor - played AWESOME music & even used a Spotify playlist we created to take our song requests before the wedding!!! Ian was the best DJ ever! We met him through a mutual friend work works as an MC for him sometimes, when we met it was like we had known him for years too! He came out to our venue weeks in advance for a planning meeting to make sure everything went smoothly. He even helped us set up a surprise dance for my grandparents who celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary the day prior to our wedding, with their wedding portraits displayed and everything! He brought uplighting which helped set the mood, and kept everyone on their feet dancing all night! -

Ian was highly recommended by both our videographer (Carlo Timothy Films) & photographer (Victory Photographs) whom were the first vendors we hired for our fall wedding. He was so nice to talk to in person while we discussed our preferences for our special day & incredibly organized, as well as professional, when it came to executing the day of (he followed our timelines, set everything up seamlessly -- he had a system on the top floor for our ceremony & cocktail hour & then a system on the ground floor for our reception & had the best playlist/tracks for the entire night for everyone to sing along & dance to). Now, there are 3 things that people remember most from an event ... the venue, the food, & the music. Believe me when I tell you that Ian delivered the music. Our biggest wishes for guests on our special day were for them to enjoy the spectacular views of our venue (Liberty Warehouse), to eat & drink plentifully, & to dance the night away -- it was difficult to get people off the dance floor to even remember to eat & drink (including my husband & I)!!
Throughout the night & even now (our wedding was nearly a week ago), our family & loved ones continue to rave about how great the music was & how engaging his MC (Eli) was!! He will absolutely be my go to for future events because he knows exactly how to show everyone a great time ... thank you so so much for everything, Ian!! Ian and crew are totally the LIFE of the party! They really know how to rile everyone up and keep the party moving. Fireworks had always been a part of my dream wedding, but I had to give it up due to our tight budget. Ian really surprised us when he lit up a some pyrotechnics for our first dance. We were pointed to DJ Ian from our photographers, MPW. From the moment we met with Ian, we knew he was the right person for our wedding! Ian and Mike (MC) were absolutely amazing and just threw the best party ever! Ian played just the right music that got EVERYONE on the dance floor throughout the night. Mike surprised us and the entire party by serenading the crowd with a John Legend ballad - literally people fell in love. It was such a great moment and everyone was so impressed by everything they did! We highly recommend!! -

I was referred to DJ Ian Ali after I decided to use MPW Media Group for my wedding. The reviews online were extremely promising! We emailed and met Ian. He is just a super nice, down to earth guy! He was also so easy to communicate with and made the whole wedding process completely stress-free! Music was very important to me, because I wanted everyone to have a good time— old, young, picky music lovers etc. We went with top 40, songs people will sing to, with plenty of 90s and 2000s throwbacks! We also added a percussionist to our package. Ian is a very experienced DJ and was extremely confident that he would DELIVER for the wedding!
Now, I got married over two weeks ago and people are still RAVING about the music at my wedding!! Our host was Michael Wolk and he also brought so much LIFE to the party! All my friends and family were asking who the DJ and host was and requesting for their name to use for their future parties! The percussionist all the guests LOVED! It added a whole new level to the already awesome music!
The dance floor was completely FULL the whole night!! I even saw aunties, grandma’s, and husbands who won’t dance— completely LIT on the dance floor! My super fun photo and video team were also sneaking in a few moves!! I even had one friend who really appreciates music and travels to music festivals all the time, say that this was the BEST event he went to all year!!
DJ Ian Ali and Michael really did such a good job keeping everyone pumped and excited! To see all our loved ones so happy and having a good time really made everything SO worth it! They're awesome to work with and they'll make sure you and your guests are partying all night long. Ian is easy to get in touch with and will work with you on anything you want and will cater the music to any type of genre that you're looking for. The MC (Michael) is also great and knows exactly how to get the crowd psyched. The next day, all our guests could talk about was how sore they were from dancing all night! Don't waste your time with anyone else, hurry up and book these guys!!

Melissa Sent on 06/04/2018COULDN'T BE HAPPIER! Once my husband and I met with Ian for the first time, we knew we definitely wanted to hire him for our entertainment for our wedding day! So easy to communicate with. We booked our ceremony music, uplighting, and photobooth as well and were so impressed! His booth set up was beautiful and even had our engagement picture montage on the screens and the wall! EVERYONE was on their feet dancing the night away. I felt like DJ Ian knew exactly what music to play and he played it all at the right time. His MC Mike was amazing as well!! We were blown away during our reception when he sang "All of Me"! He sounded so good that I kept getting compliments from all our guests! Lifetime Entertainment is an amazing company and I guarantee you will be more than 100% satisfied with the services they have to offer!!!
