Great photographers!

Mike and Elsie are wonderful people. We have known them for years though our wedding was the first experience I had with their photography. When the photos came in I was ecstatic to see how wonderful they turned out. These two deserve every award they have recieved for their work and then some!

Mike and Elsie are amazing!

We were very pleased with the overall experience with Lifeslice. Mike and Elsie are both very sweet and accommodating. They worked with my husband and I to make sure they knew exactly what we wanted. We had to use a backup plan due to weather and couldn't take pictures outside the venue but they made it work and the pictures turned out lovely! Thanks so much Mike and Elsie!!

Flexible and very encouraging

They are very flexible and work well with the brides, especially when the brides have no clue what they want. They scope out the area for the best shots and lighting for the theme and desires of the couple.

LifeSlice is hands down the best!

I would highly recommend LifeSlice Photography to anyone looking for great quality photos and a great couple to work with. I have used LifeSlice for all my photos including college senior picture, engagement pictures, and those very important wedding photos. They were able to capture all the best moments from our wedding, even being 100 degrees in mid July they still put forth their greatest efforts. This husband and wife team are a blast to work with, creative, and capture all the little details you may not even have thought of. I can't say enough good things about these two. If you are looking for a photographer, book these guys while you can!

Mike and his wife Elsie are amazing! They are professional, and were very responsive to my questions and concerns. They took my dream wedding and captured it perfectly. Mike went the extra mile to collaborate with me on creative pictures that were truly unique. I am so blessed to have gotten to meet them and work with them. They truly had a servants heart during this process and were eager to please us. They are incredible!!

This photographer was amazing! Not only was he flexible on price he also worked with me on hours of availability. He drove to our location which was an hour out of the way for him and he was so good at our wedding! He was completely unobtrusive and he was really good at directing people and getting good candid shots. After my husband and I left he was really kind to my family and offered to take extra shots. Even though he was 113 degrees that day he never complained about the heat. We were perfectly happy with our experience!

My wedding photos turned out amazing!!!! I would recommend Lifeslice Photography for any event you might have. Mike was very accommodating and creative when I asked him to edit some of my photos for a sci-fi backdrop and they turned out wonderful.

Such an amazing experience having these lovely people photograph our wedding this summer! They went above and beyond from driving to multiple shooting locations with me before the big day to sitting down and talking through every shot that was important to me. The best part was that they did an incredible job of keeping things moving, they were great about being time efficient while still giving careful attention to detail and not skimping on their artistry. The photos were AMAZING: They captured the joy and love of the day beautifully. I am SO happy with how everything turned out.

Lifeslice was very helpful the entire wedding afternoon. It was extremely important to us that the wedding and our guests were given a front seat, not our photos. We whipped through portraits before and after the ceremony, and were able to spend the rest of the day with our family and friends, knowing everything was going to be captured. Lifeslice was very good at prioritizing what was important to us, instead of pushing their own agenda, and that was invaluable!

Mike and Elsie truly captured the beauty of our wedding day with their vivid and creative images. They were easy to work with, and we were comfortable having them capture our most special moments. We were especially grateful for the fact that they worked with us to put together a custom package that fit both our needs and budget to a tee! Everyone we've showed the pictures to has had no end of positive comments, and we are very satisfied with the investment we made for remembering and treasuring this once in a lifetime event! In addition to being attentive to detail, they showed genuine interest in us as a couple and are not only great photographers, but good people, and we would highly recommend them! They gave us great peace of mind that all the many bases we're well covered, and we never worried about our wedding photos turning out. We just received the photos for a little shoot in the new "studio" at Lifeslice, the newly professionally landscaped backyard is a lovely setting. This time it was just my daughter, as it has been 4 years since she has had a school photo. We are very happy with the result. We have used Mike in the past for full family photo session. He is very easy to work with; makes you feel relaxed and makes the whole thing pleasant. No wonder his business has grown so much!

Mike and Elsie of LifeSlice are so wonderful and easy to work with, they made what was already a beautiful day perfect. We live about an hour away from our venue and they were very flexible working with our work schedules to visit the congregation and finalize our contract.

They made everyone feel relaxed and ready for their photos - Elsie was great at making us laugh randomly throughout the day to help lighten the mood and keep us from getting too tired. Mike was wonderful at directing us for poses and figuring out the perfect lighting.

I cannot wait to get our photos back, and I'm sure Caleb and I will have more photos with them in the future. Love these two so much!

As the gramma that gave the photographer as a wedding gift I was hoping for the best. I got better than the best, Lifeslice Photography and the husband and wife team of Mike and Elsie were extraordinary. Professional, flexible, easy to work with and so unobtrusive I honestly don't remember seeing them a great deal. But they were definitely there recording my granddaughter's day with such attention to detail. All of the photos are beautiful and it will be hard to choose. What a lovely problem to have!!! Choose Lifeslice!

Lifeslice Photography took our engagement photos at Hendricks Park in Eugene. They were very easy to work with and made us feel comfortable and at ease even though I am very shy around a camera. We met mostly with Mike, but Elsie came across as equally friendly and professional. They were very nice to work with and were willing to do whatever was needed to capture the day, and were also excited by the possibility of taking new and different kinds of wedding pictures along with the classics. Their passion for photography was apparent, as was their enthusiasm for making sure we got all the photos we wanted.

It doesn't get any better! Trusting Life Slice to capture our daughters wedding was an excellent decision. They are very professional, anticipate needs, and are very attentive. Mike at Lifeslice was very easy to work with...he really listened to the wishes of my daughter and son-in-law about what they wanted done and how they wanted him to interact at the wedding and with the guests. They did not want a "hostage" wedding where everyone is waiting on the photographer. Mike went out of his way to take lots of pictures without impeding or delaying the festivities.

Lifeslice was Amazing! They took so much stress off planning our wedding. They were very flexible with scheduling, they drove out of their way for my last minute request to see the venue one more time a couple days before our wedding to finalize picture locations. Elise was amazing at attention to the smallest of details to make all the wedding party pictures perfect. Mike is so creative and adventurous for angles and locations for the perfect picture. Together they captured every moment timing it all for the perfect candid moment. We could not have asked for better photographers. Oh my goodness! I love Lifeslice Photography! Not only are they extremely flexible with scheduling, meeting up, responding to emails, texts, calls, etc. They are truly a joy to be around! Elsie went above and beyond taking photos on our wedding day! She truly captured every special moment and really showed off everyones personalities through the photos. It is great how they have you pin photos you like on Pinterest and fill out a form beforehand of the pictures that are a must have! By having a copy of what I liked on Pinterest when it came to wedding photos and the form as a tool they both knew exactly what I wanted the most and completely exceeded my expectations! PICK THEM AS YOUR NEXT PHOTOGRAPHER, you won't be sorry!

LifeSlice Photography did an AMAZING job on our wedding and engagement photos. Working with Mike and Elsie was a fantastic experience. They had wonderful ideas and work so well together as a team. The day of our wedding ended up being incredibly cold, windy, and rainy which caused our whole schedule for the day to get really behind. When it was time for the wedding photos to begin Mike and Elsie had already scouted out some beautiful indoor places for us to take photos and were still willing to brave the cold when I said I wanted outdoor photos too. They were also incredibly flexible with our timing. The photos are beautiful and when I showed them to my family they asked "How are you going to pick just a few to hang up?" I love my wedding photos and couldn't have made a better choice that picking LifeSlice Photography.

Mike and Elsie are the very best. They were worth every penny, and then some. When I got engaged, one of the most important things for me to find was good photographers and they exceeded every expectation I had. They even came to my engagement party to scope out the venue where I would be getting married. They drove an hour out of their way several times to meet up with me to plan, and they were not satisfied until every detail was taken care of. On my wedding day, they got a room at my reception venue so they could stay all night and take pictures. They got some of the best shots possible at our wedding and reception and followed my instructions to a T. Elsie even showed my flower girl how to use her "Fancy" camera, and let her take a few pictures. Who does that? Elsie also helped me as I was getting ready, by bringing me water and other things I might need. They are both great at getting shots that don't look cookie cutter, and they are fantastic at candid photos. All of my family has said what a pleasure they were to work with during the family pictures. I have a huge family but in all of my pictures everyone looks great. No awkward faced or closed eyes. I can't imagine anyone I would rather have take pictures at any event in my future. If you are looking for the total package in Photographers, Mike and Elsie from LifeSlice are your ticket. We loved them!

Mike & Elsie were super fun to work with! We had a great day and the really did their best to accomodate all the different shots I wanted. Tough long HOT (100 DEGREES!!!)_ day and they really pulled through! I am very happy with all my pictures and love how organized they are!!

It's more than just their perfect professionalism and high quality of photos, it's their HEART for what they are doing! My fiance and I won a free engagement photo session with Lifeslice Photography at the Eugene Bridal Showcase and Wedding Expo. We have never been professionally photographed and didn't know quite what to expect. Mike was very responsive and professional in all of his communications. During the actual session, Mike and his wife Elsie worked together very well and put us at ease while efficiently taking hundreds of photos. They worked to capture the photos we had in mind and even worked with our St. Bernard puppy. Most importantly, we were thrilled with how the photos came out!

We loved our experience with Mike & Elsie of LifeSlice Photography! They were very helpful and flexible, making sure we had the right amount of coverage within our budget to document our special day. I'm so glad they were there to capture some memories for us, since we were so in the moment enjoying our wedding! They both took some great pictures without it feeling obtrusive. Mike had some really creative ideas for shots that incorporated unique aspects of our wedding venue, and they turned out looking very magical! Elsie has such a great eye for details and is such a fun personality, she helped put us at ease. She also came prepared with pins and lots of knowledge about wedding attire! She helped all of the fellas put on their boutonnieres and arrange their pocket squares, and even helped with the flower girl's bow and my veil! I don't know what we would have done without her, but we sure wouldn't have all looked so sharp! Our package also included an engagement session as part of a wedding show promotion, which was a super bonus! It was fun to get some cute pictures while getting to know our photographers and building up some comfort before the wedding. Mike and Elsie were such a great team and we couldn't recommend them more to other couples!

Having never experienced a photoshoot before, let alone an outdoor one, Mike and Elsie made it especially easy on us through being their naturally easy-going, yet very professional, selves. They were conversational the whole time and were so very flexible with scheduling and what we wanted taken during the photoshoot. They were opened to having ideas being bounced back and forth, which only further enhanced the experience. They really do look for the best shot possible every time and they do so by being a team. Even though this photoshoot was free to us (I won it through a raffle at the Portland/Salem Bridal Expo), they worked hard and even gave us an extra hour with no qualms. Thank you, Mike & Elsie!

The photographers where awesome they got great pics that when seeing we weren't sure how they got them without being intrusive, because during the ceremony I don't remember seeing them at all but they captured the moment better than we could have hoped, also they got great pics of before and the reception, they really caught the emotion of each person and the event. During the portrait portion of the photos we added a lot of posses we had not discussed originally (not on purpose but things happen) but they where great and had lots of ideas, they where altogether more than we hoped for or expected and because of there flexibility and helpful ness they captured our day for us to look at and cherish whenever we want, thank you mike &Elsie -Lifeslice Photography

I've never done business with anyone as attentive and sensitive as Mike and Elsie. They took great pains to make sure our engagement photos were exactly as we wanted, and they are perfect. Not only that, but Mike and Elsie are a fun and friendly couple to work with as well.

Mike and Elsie went above and beyond to capture the special and memorable moments of my wedding. They were gracious and patient during the chaos of gathering family and wedding crew together for formal photos. They managed to be there for all of the little moments I overlooked (as being the bride can get hectic). They offered to stay later than they were scheduled for to shoot the bouquet/garter toss because that is how much they care for their clients. Mike and Elsie are easy to get along with and provided 5 star professionalism but also had a warmth to them. I reccommend lifeslice photography to anyone who wants their most precious and beautiful memories to be captured on camera.

What a great pair of photographers. They really went above and beyond for us and have absolutely captured the whole day. I honestly don't even remember them being around me, but they had so many beautiful close photos of myself and my
Husband. They are funny and flexible and really, really talented. The photos were everything we wanted, and they were finished early! I also love their online viewing and purchasing feature. A lot of my family lives far away and it makes it easy for them to see the pictures too.

Did I mention we got an amazing price? I would highly recommend Mike and Elsie.

From the day I met Mike and Elise I knew they were the ones we wanted to shoot our wedding, but I never expected the quality, service and detail that they put into our special day. They were like family and provided some of the best pictures I have ever seen in my life. I am forever thankful for these two and the pictures they provided us to view for the rest of our lives.

Very helpful, they were able to meet multiple times before the wedding. Had lots of ideas for great shots during the wedding. Very reasonable compared to other vendors. I would recommend them to others.

LifeSlice Photography was such a blessing. Planning a wedding from a state away isn't always easy, but Mike and Elsie made the photography preparations a breeze. They take their job seriously, I always felt like I was their most important client. They are responsive to emails and they even met my husband and I before the wedding to go over details on short notice on a few occasions. We didn't want a pushy photographer that would keep us from celebrating our wedding with our friends by taking up too much time, but we also wanted photos that were amazing. They delivered on both requests. Friends and family were impressed with them too. I have amazing photos that I will proudly share and display in my home for generations. A wedding happens once, pictures help you to remember that day so pick a photographer wisely. LifeSlice was one of the best parts of my wedding.

They worked within our budget, and didn't try to get us to spend more. On the big day they made the posed pictures stress free and got all the shots we wanted. All of the pictures turned out great, and they caught some amazing candid shots at the reception.

They were great! They are a husband and wife team. They did everything asked of them for a very reasonable price. We got two photographers for six hours for $1100.00. Compared to every other professional photographer the package we got would have been 3-4 thousand dollars. The pictures were fabulous! I would definitely hire them again. They are very personable and professional. They know there stuff. As I was shopping around Lifeslice photography seemed to be the only photographers willing to be flexible for our needs. They were Perfect!

Mike & Elsie were absolutely wonderful to work with and provided excellent quality pictures. I was so happy with the way they captured our special day. Our photos truly reflect who we are and were perfect. Lifeslice photography provides excellent quality photos and great customer service, while still remaining affordable. We are very impressed with the service we received from lifeslice photography. they were flexible, and worked with us on finding a package that fit our budget, they went out of their way for us and the pictures were amazing. I would definetely use them again for any professional pictures we want taken, and would suggest them to friends.

Mike and Elsie of Life Slice Photography did photos for my son's wedding last weekend. They were diligent and tireless during a long day of picture taking, During the whole time they maintained a pleasant and professional demeanor, seeking the best setting and lighting to the last shot.
