Rob Ferre --- incredible DJ!

We were so impressed with Rob Ferre from Life of the Party DJ. We met with Rob in Feb-21 to talk through our vision for our Feb-22 wedding celebration. His team uses a seamless CRM tool which kept us updated on contract and payment deadlines, form/preference submissions, and upcoming planning meetings with Rob -- we never worried about a thing! Rob was quick to pick up on (and suggest) ceremony and reception details that would customize the sequel wedding. During the wedding, Rob's music selections were spot on... my now husband even said, "did you give Rob our Spotify playlist?" (we did not, he's just that good). After the wedding, guests commented on how dialed in Rob was to reading the crowd and adjusting the music to keep the party and dance floor going. Overall, he's also just a really fun/cool guy - We absolutely loved working with Rob!

Cannot recommend enough!

We could not be happier with our experience with Life of the Party. Early conversations with Melissa helped us decide our package, and she was helpful, professional, and very communicative. Our DJ, Todd Michael Thompson, cannot be recommended enough. He is creative, fun, and can read the room. People didn't stop dancing! He also did a great job transitioning to different parts of the event. Our wedding was a hit in part because of Todd's work! Cannot recommend the company and our DJ enough.

Incredible Silent DJ for our wedding

Working with Life of the Party was a breeze. Mellisa, their administrator, was prompt to answer phone calls and emails. It was a simple process to arrange details and be on the same page with what my bride and I wanted. Keith, the DJ, was kind and upbeat. He made sure everyone knew how to work the headsets and kept everyone engaged. Overall an awesome experience. Highly recommend this team for your wedding day music and dance party!

Helped the helpless have a great time and kept the dance rolling!

What I loved about Rob was that he was responsive to the room … although he asked for a pre set list of songs he was able to read what was going on and played his own playlist of songs that kept everyone having a great time!! Loved that he made the party better than we could have made it ourselves !! Many people came up and commented on how much they loved the DJ!

Highly Recommend!

Ricky Barrera from Life of the Party was our DJ for the ceremony and the reception. Overall, he did an incredible job, and we could not have been happier with how it all went. His communication with us was great! He's very laid back, but also wants to make sure he meets the wants of the couple when it comes to the music. So easy to work with him when planning the music. We had a few specific songs for the ceremony, but when it came to the dancing during the reception, we let him use his experience to keep the party going. He did a great job with announcements/timeline of events. He absolutely crushed it, everyone had such a fun time. I highly recommend him!

Excellent experience! Highly recommend!!

Frantz was our DJ and MC and he was absolutely wonderful! He was so great at reading the room, keeping the energy high, and the music flowing perfectly with each transition from announcements to dinner and dancing. Our guests absolutely adored him, accommodating song requests and picking fantastic music on his own! He truly was the life of the party! Thank you so much!!

Shayne did amazing! We did a sit down meeting over the phone for almost an hour. And of course during the wedding it seemed nothing went as planned. Todd is fantastic

From the very beginning, Life of the Party was nothing but an excellent experience. We worked with Todd, who was personable and thoughtful and kind. He worked incredibly hard to execute an awesome experience. Everything from the ceremony, to the reception, to the dance floor was phenomenal. He was able to provide a lot of advice, based on his professional experience, which was greatly appreciated for 2 unprepared people like ourselves. He even found versions of our song choices that were a better fit for timing.
Todd communicated with us throughout the entire event to ensure that things went smoothly - he checked in on the bride (myself) during hair/makeup to make sure the entrance was perfectly timed. His set up for mics, speakers, lighting, etc all went so well - Todd knows how to navigate a space, get a feel for the energy of the room.
He was engaged with the crowd all night (even if it may have been like herding cats at times), and followed through on all of our must-play song requests. From beginning to end, we truly could not have chosen a better DJ for our wedding. Our only regret was that we did not spend nearly enough time on the dance floor with our family/friends, or make a few additional song requests ourselves :)

Have an event? a LOTP DJ/MC is a must.

We hired DJ Rob from Life of the Party for our 2021 wedding. Melissa was very quick to respond and was able to answer any question we threw at her. The LOTP portal they have you use can be a little confusing and a video walkthrough would be very helpful. After the Zoom call with DJ Rob a few weeks out, using the portal became much easier.

DJ Rob is the best MC and DJ I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He was very detail-oriented and made sure to map out every moment of our event so that music and announcements were understandable and flowed well. Rob even improvised and created a fun game for our guests to sit down for dinner using our table identifiers. The music was perfect all night, and the dance floor never wavered! Everyone had a blast. Rob also did the audio for our ceremony, which went off without a hitch. The volume of music and microphones was ideal, and everyone could hear everything that was going on. The mic he provided for the toasts was vintage looking and added to the style of our event. Overall, hiring Rob made our event flow seamlessly, and we're thrilled!

LOTP took our wedding to the next level. A DJ/MC is a must for any party or wedding event and you will not be disappointed hiring Life of the Party Entertainment.

The perfect DJ for our wedding

Our wedding was held in the middle of a pandemic, and changes to the wedding plans were constant. Rob Ferre of Life Of The Party Entertainment was also constant - constantly patient, available, responsive, ready with help and answers, and so skilled at providing just the music we wanted and keeping the guests entertained. He's a gem!

Best DJ and so easy to work with

This was by far the easiest part of planning my wedding! Rob was super responsive and accommodating. The have fantastic tools and technology to assist in personalizing the event, and really cared about our music preferences and making sure the soundtrack for our big day fit us. Our event was constantly changing due to covid, and he found a way to make it work every time I reached out, while still honoring our budget and initial contract. It was so nice to have one less thing to worry about. I would recommend Rob and his team in heartbeat!

Kept the dance floor full all night!

Rob and Life of the Party kept the dance floor packed until the very last song! They played the perfect mix of songs that got all ages out on the dance floor busting a move. We had multiple people come up and ask who the DJ was or tell us that he was AMAZING! On top of keeping the party going, he did a great job of keeping the events on track and announcing any important details/instructions to the crowd. We would recommend him to anyone and would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Heartfulled Fun and Warmth

Rob at Life of the Party was Terrific. He kept the party going all night long. I had many people ask me who our DJ was, and say it was the best wedding they had ever gone to. I do believe his DJ abilities helped so much get the guest to the dance floor and keep them there. He can read the crowd and encourage dancing, line dances, tonga lines and fun. Truly worth every penny. He also does overlays for Daddy Daughter dances and couple dances, that really bring the meaning of a wedding right to your heart. Thanks Rob for a great evening.

Completed our whole wedding!

Life of the Party and especially DJ Hard Corey completed and made our wedding perfect. They helped us out so much from beginning to end and made sure everything was perfect. Corey made sure we had everything From the in-between songs, to announcing when events/speeches were happening. He asked us before hand to give him the music we liked and must plays but did all the rest. He also helped to get the party started and to keep it going through out the night. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ to work with. Corey was so incredibly nice and made sure we got exactly what we wanted.

Wedding Day Necessity

We worked with Rob for our wedding and he is absolutely amazing. From our initial session when we picked out all the music, to the day of the wedding - he was professional, responsive and really listened to all our needs. Rob also came up with suggestions when we did not have any ideas and even helped us figure out things like the event timeline. We got rave reviews from guests about the DJ and how much fun they had. Rob even had the kids playing musical chairs at one point in the evening which was a definite hit. Rob also kept us on track with our timeline throughout the night but was flexible to changes when things didn't go as planned. We wanted a celebration where everyone had a great time, and that is exactly what Rob delivered. We couldn't have asked for more. 10/10

We worked with DJ Rob at Life of the Party for our wedding, and he did a fantastic job. He kept things on time and had a nice sound system for the dinner/speeches. Rob was great. We wanted a very informal reception where we just wanted the music played with no cheesiness that some DJ's just cannot resist. Rob helped direct people around during dinner when we asked, but otherwise got through our song list and based additional music on that. He made great choices. He also made good suggestions on the limited slow songs we had asked for. Highly recommend.

Life of the Party was such a great choice for our wedding reception. We had Todd from this company bring so much experience and energy - our guests were off their chairs and on the dance floor all night! He was so helpful in modifying our timeline based on his experience and was very considerate when ending some songs sooner as needed. I am so happy we went with Life of the Party and will be sure to recommend them to friends and family, especially Todd!

Life of the Party was the best to work with! I found them on WeddingWire and called them right away and they were so helpful from the get-go. I wasn't even sure if they were who I wanted to DJ at my wedding yet, but they were so kind and helpful. Larissa set up a phone meeting with Rob, and he called me and gave me a layout of how my wedding/reception would be if we decided to have them at our event. I was able to meet with them twice before our wedding and Rob made sure everything was perfect. I was planning my wedding from out of state and Rob and his team made everything so easy and stress-free. They responded to my million and a half emails quickly and answered all my questions! I even had some last minute song changes and they made sure everything was perfect for my special day. Todd was a great DJ and made everything at our wedding so fun! I definitely recommend Life of the Party for any event. Rob and his team are the best!

We were recommended to Rob Ferre by my wife's parents. We could not have been more pleased how incredible he was! Rob has a talent that few DJ's are able to accomplish by getting EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE to dance no matter who they were. It was definitely one of the best parts of the night watching family members dance that you would have never imagined you would see dance! Rob was always quick to reply to messages and return phone calls and made it extremely easy to pick songs that we would like. I feel bad for Rob because at the end of our reception it began to sprinkle and he did not have adequate cover from the rain but we were about 3 songs away from the end of the reception. Rob continued to play music and make sure the music continued to the end. During our last song it started to down pour and I hope we were able to save his equipment! Not once did he every complain or stop providing his amazing service even knowing that he may lose valuable equipment. I will go out of my way to recommend Rob to everyone I meet.

The best advice I can provide a perspective couple looking for a DJ is to find one that runs the entire show. By that I mean he/she has a strong and powerful voice to make announcements, gets the crowd involved and engages everyone. DJ Rob was that person. He took the most complicated mix of music and engaged three different cultures (Indian, Uruguay and American) into a seamless party. We had some vendors not perform to our expectations. DJ Rob performed beyond our expectations. He had the entire dance floor rocking the entire night. He made the mistakes of our other vendors disappear because he made the entire reception better. He is worth every penny and if he can nail an Indian, Uruguay and American reception he can nail anyone's wedding reception.

Larissa is a customer service queen! She was incredibly professional and a true gem to work with while booking our wedding DJ. Rob is her husband and he's a doll too. When our original DJ became unavailable, Rob wanted to make sure we had an opportunity to meet the new DJ that would be working our special day. He set up a last minute meeting for us on the Tuesday we flew into Salt Lake the week (did I mention this was for a destination wedding?). Our new DJ, DJ Todd, was setting up for a reception so Rob had us meet him on location to go over our event and the music preferences. I will say we got a little nervous when Rob suggested we start the dance party with the very safe Beach Boys (let me preface that with the fact that my husband and I live in the bay area and LOVE hip hop music also we are not Mormon, we just genuinely love Utah). At this point our DJ, Todd quickly picked up on the vibe we were putting down and started making the perfect suggestions and by perfect suggestions, I mean, Kanye, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Biggy, etc.. On the day of, DJ Todd coordinated with our planner, arrived on time and executed the most impressive dance party I have ever seen at a wedding (and I have the wedding video to prove it). He ran the event smoothly, kept our family happy, made sure everyone ate, and then played all right hits (maintaining radio edits until the grandparents and kiddos were all gone for the evening). When selecting a DJ, weather you like safe Beach Boys or hard, old school Notorious BIG beatz "Life of the Party" can give you everything you need. Also I heard that Larissa offers planning services, I bet working with her would be a dream.

I hired Rob & LOTP to DJ a karaoke party the night before our wedding, and it was amazing! They really went above and beyond (including finding some tough-to-find songs for us, and being flexible with timing when we didn't want to stop). I couldn't recommend them more!

Life of the party (DJ Rob) was absolutely AMAZING! The service provided made our wedding perfect. From our music during our dinner, to dancing the night away with family and friends, It was a very memorable and entertaining evening. DJ Rob spoke spanish and helped through the evening to translate to our family. I made up a playlist before the wedding but wanted some extra spanish songs If he knew of any. He added many more to our playlist and EVERY single person was dancing and having so much fun! I loved all of his help from the first initial planning to the actual day. I would definitely recommend Life of the party entertainment to anyone who is looking for a DJ.

I can not say enough good things about about Life of the Party, Rob and Larissa Ferre. They are gifted professionals with a personal touch. They truly made my day incredibly special. I can not count how many guest asked for there contact information for future events. Multiple people told me that it was the best reception that they had ever attended and that the music was incredible. I believe the words "true professional" were used over and over again. My shy and quiet husband never left the dance floor and that speaks volumes. They spoke to me, guided me through the process and added multiple personal touches. Their performance will forever be one of my favorite memories from that very special day!

Rob is an AMAZING DJ! He has a very professional website that makes coming up with your wedding playlist a breeze. He is quick at responding to emails and phone calls. Meetings with him were quick and efficient. He dressed appropriately for our formal event and played what we requested. He was also helpful in the flow and timing of all the important parts of the reception (like toasts and cake cutting).

We love Life of the Party Entertainment so much that this is our second time using them! We actually live in Dallas, TX, but two of our kids have been married in the Salt Lake area and we used them both times. Our first experience was in October 2013 for our daughters wedding at the Salt Lake Hardware Building. They came highly recommended by many of the vendors we used, and since we were doing all the planning from out of state, we checked on WeddingWire and saw lots of great reviews about them. We very much appreciated how easy and seamless they made the whole process! They definitely took the jitters we had from planning long distance away! Rob Ferre is a true professional when it comes to running his business, responsiveness, and making sure you get exactly what you want. But he is also one of the nicest, most friendly and fun guys to work with too! When we got into town he and the DJ he picked for us the first time, Corey, sat down and met with us and really cared what my daughter "the bride" wanted, but also gave us the advice we needed to make the night a blast for them and everyone else! Rob personally met with us again last month (8/15) to discuss my son's wedding reception at Highland Gardens a few days prior to the event. He was just as awesome and the DJ we used this time, Keith, was every bit as prepared, fun, and professional as Corey. They really listen to your desires and tailor the evening the way you want it, but still know how to make the party have the right flow with their placement of music throughout the night! We love Life of the Party and would recommend them highly to anyone needing a great DJ company in Utah!!

Rob Ferre made our night so much fun! He not only got to know us and created an amazing playlist, but he also orchestrated all of the events. We used Life of the Party Entertainment for our wedding and could not have picked a better DJ than Rob to host our big day. He was professional, helpful, friendly, fun and kept the pace of our wedding at the perfect level. My husband and I worked with Rob Ferre and DJ Ryan. We were both extremely impressed with their service and professionalism. It was very easy to meet with them in person and Rob was prompt in answering questions via email. They were both interested in getting to know my husband and me so they could provide services aligned with our personalities. Ryan provided a relaxed and fun atmosphere for our reception. As has been the tradition for many years now, we had DJ Rob come and provide music for our neighborhood party. There were 400+ people in attendance and Rob never let the action die down. We had a pirate theme and Rob even came dressed in an appropriate Captain Jack hat. Booking was easy and Rob was also responsive to my emails. My wife and I just celebrated our 1yr anniversary. As we celebrated, we thought back to our special day. It was such a fun day surrounded by family and friends. We couldn’t have been happier. The day was perfect. However, it didn’t start out that way. I was stepping out of the shower the day of the wedding when I received the call. The DJ we had arranged was in the ER and with less than 8hrs to the event, I was without a DJ. This was bad. You see, when my wife and I started planning our reception, her #1 desire was for a DJ and dancing. Without a DJ, there would be no dancing. Without dancing, my soon to be bride would not be happy. This was not the way I wanted to start out our marriage. Happy wife = Happy life, right? I was literally putting on my suit and walking out the door to our ceremony when I called Rob Ferre. I told him my situation as I pulled into the parking lot of the Jordan River Temple. He told me to “Relax, take a deep breath, and enjoy the ceremony.” He said, “I’ll take care of it and by the time you leave the temple, it will all be under control.” Unfortunately, he had committed himself to another event and was not able to DJ our reception himself. However, he got to work calling through his network. As we walked out the doors of the temple as husband and wife, the phone in my pocket began to vibrate. I snuck a glance and felt an immediate sense of relief as I read, “all taken care of… details to come.” We arrived at the reception and our last minute substitute DJ was already there, set up, and ready to go. He did a great job! He played the songs we wanted and kept the event moving without becoming the center of the show. He was very professional, fun, and not obnoxious at all. I would use him again in a heartbeat. Considering all this took place the day of our wedding, I did not feel like I was taken advantage of at all. Everything was reasonably priced. Rob Ferre and DJ Hard Corey saved the day!

Rob is a true professional. He meets with you before your wedding and asks the pertinent questions. He has every song you can think of. Most importantly, he gets the party started and has his way of making the crowd want to dance. Slow songs, fast songs and everything in between, our guests had a great time.

DJ Rob of Life of the Party Entertainment is more than just a DJ; he was the event emcee and he did an exceptional job. Our reception included a dinner and program and he did a great job of keeping everything on time and running smoothly. He made sure that we ate first so that we would finished early enough to go around and greet our guests at their tables. He gently reminded when it was time to move on to the next activity and made our reception completely worry free.

But there were two things that show what makes LOTP Entertainment better than everyone else out there. First, we wanted our reception to help our guests get to know us a bit so we asked Rob to help us play a game called the Shoe-lywed Game. You can google it to find out exactly how to play but Rob was amazing at making this happen for us. He provided all the questions and was the game show host. His personality and professionalism made the game work and our guests LOVED it.

Next, Rob does something called the Love Story. My now husband and I each separately wrote our version of our love story and sent it to him. He combined them together and shared them with our guests at the reception and it was the perfect lead in to our First Dance and the wrap up of the reception. Again, many of our guests mentioned how fun it was to hear how we found each other and how much they loved it.

In summary, LOTP Entertainment truly made our reception exactly what we wanted it to be. Many of our guests were telling my parents for weeks after our reception how much fun they had and truly unique it was. Our reception would not have been what it was without DJ Rob and LOTP. Highly recommended!!

Corey Maxfield from "Life of the Party" DJ'd our wedding and did a fantastic job. He went above and beyond during the ceremony as well by helping to coordinate and direct the processions. He managed the reception fantastically and kept people on the dance floor all night.

Rob Ferre is flexible, professional and fun. Rob did a great job putting our bar mitzvah boy in charge. He sat down with him and let our son pick his favorite songs, select some age-appropriate games, and empowered him to feel like it was "his" party. Then, at the event itself, he and his dancer helper got the crowd (adults and kids) movin' and groovin' for hours and hours, willingly took requests as often as he could, and taught us all a few great dancin' moves. I would heartily recommend Rob and Life of the Party for any party, joyous occasion or dance.

Rob is a great DJ . He knows the right songs to play to get people on the Dance floor and when to do it. His party facilitators were friendly and they seemed like they were also having a good time. My guests all commented on the quality of the transitions and the music played. It was a wonderful party.

Life of the Party and DJ Rob are fantastic. I am the Mother of the Bride and when we asked our daughter and her husband what was most important to them aside from the ceremony they answered the DJ.

Rob came recommended from Cucina Nassi and delivered as promised. He was responsive to our requests. Was flexible and made wonderful suggestions in preparing us for the event.

During the evening he kept the party going. He was engaging, entertaining and flexible. There was an issue with a video that was being shown that he was not responsible for, but he stepped in and helped to solve the problem.

He made my evening when he stayed and played a final song for my husband. We did not have a large wedding like our daughters and we never had a first dance. He stayed, when he could have left, and played our song for us and we finally after 25 years of marriage we had our "first dance".

Hey Rob, thanks for making my daughter's Sundance wedding and reception so perfect. The ceremony was beautiful and your suggestion of prelude music to her unusual wedding procession music was perfect, even when we couldn't think of any. I don't know how you took the songs my daughter gave you and put together a whole night of dance music, but you really kept everyone on the floor ALL NIGHT. I had people from all over the country attend and they all said it was the "best wedding they'd ever been to." I didn't need a wedding planner, Rob took my sketchy outline and put together a perfect timeline. I even had changes I emailed to him the day of the wedding that he organized perfectly. Rob is professional and completely receptive to my daughter's requests and ideas. He made suggestions and still made my daughter's ideas "work", even when some thought they were unconventional. I would recommend him to any crowd!

He played appropriate music, knew when to kick up the music, and any requests were honored. I wouldn't have changed a thing about the way he DJ'd our wedding! :D

It's been a few weeks since my wedding and our family and guests are still taking about what an awesome party we had!

Planning a wedding in Utah all the way from Chicago was a challenging task, Rob with Life of the Party Entertainment though, made the entertainment of my wedding the easiest and smoothest part of the whole planning.

Great flexibility, excellent quality of service and professionalism, friendly and great personality...... My absolute favorite is how Rob is able and willing to adapt to the bride and the groom's preferences and can be formal, semi-formal, totally relaxed and fun, etc. upon request. Every wedding has its own style and tone and ours was a very relaxed and fun with family and close friends. My sister's wedding was the following day and Rob was also the DJ, the tone of her wedding was elegant and formal - Rob completely adapted to both environments extremely well.

My husband and I feel lucky to have had Rob as the DJ at our wedding, everyone had a great time, at one point we had all servers from the banquet staff dancing with us – that is how great our party was!

Thanks for an AMAZING party Rob!

Rob did an incredible job DJing our wedding. He created a romantic ambiance for the dinner which was exactly what we wanted. When the reception started, the party started. He did a great job choosing songs that would get people out and dancing. The music played was great for everyone. He made a fun and enjoyable atmosphere at our wedding!

Life of the Party was great. We (and our guests) had a great time at our wedding. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had throughout the night and loved the music selection.

Rob played music that suited our style perfectly (based on a very small list of ideas we had). He took requests from guests throughout the night and led group dances. Everyone had a great time and we really appreciated all that went into making our day perfect. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for wedding entertainment.

Life of the Party Entertainment was the perfect choice for our wedding. Everything was just the way we wanted it and Rob was so so great to work with! He played all the songs we wanted and chose songs that were perfect for our style. He taught us some group dances that were so fun too! We had such a wonderful time dancing with our guests. There were so many people on our dance floor! Rob kept the party going and exceeded our expectations in every way! Life of the Party is totally worth the money, and I would recommend this DJ to anyone who is looking!

I loved everything about my wedding day. Life of the Party, DJ Rob only made that day even better! He was amazing. Pretty much directed the wedding, helping us with our time line of things from Wedding ceremony to Reception. Entertained our guests with music they wanted to hear! Family and friends were dancing non stop and enjoyed the comfort of being able to request their favorites! Definitely a must to make your special day exactly what you want! Rob understands the social habits of 13 year olds. He had everyone up and dancing, participating in games and generally enthused all night long. I only saw one kid on his cell phone! He kept the party rolling, played music for the kids and adults. He also understands the traditions of a Bar Mitzvah. I wouldn't look any farther if you are planning a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

I am an event planner and hired Life of the Party (LOTP) to handle the music at an India/American wedding. The requests from the bride and the groom were very specific and the team at LOTP was able to ask a great series of questions to really dig into making it a perfect event.

DJ Ryan was beyond professional. He showed up promptly, did a great job as MC, played a great mix of music, and all around was an event planners perfect partner. When we had changes to the schedule he was also very flexible. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any event event, and I plan on recommending them to my own clients.

I worked with Rob Ferre of Life of The Party Entertainment. I would highly suggest this DJ to ANY bride. He was worth every penny. He kept the flow of the reception, made the announcements, was young and fun and interactive. At one point he even got on the dance floor and was dancing with us!! I've heard nothing but good feed back that he played a wide variety of songs, from our guests. And my husband loved that he was young and current. Not an old man sitting in the corner with an iPod. He did forget our edited cut of our first dance song in his car, but her hurried and ran out to get it. He fixed the problem he had created.

Rob did a great job! He choose good music to suit the crowd. He did a good job as MC and was go with the flow. He even got out on the dance floor for a "slide" type song to help get people dancing.

WOW! Rob and Melissa helped us "re-imagine" our daughters wedding during COVID. Those who attended via Zoom said the quality was amazing and the play back of the ceremony was crystal clear. Can't wait to have Rob DJ next years ceremony. Thank you again for such a wonderful evening.

Life of the Party was Amazing

Rob Ferre made this wedding so fun, smooth, and exciting. The first time I met him I knew he would be great to work with. He explained to me the process really well and eased my mind about a lot of wedding planning details I had not worked out yet. He kept in touch with me by phone, e-mail, text as needed and kept me on track near the end before the wedding as far as making a timeline, etc. Rob uses an app that helps you make playlists and song suggestions for each part of the wedding- I found this really easy to use and helpful because I could add a song as soon as I thought of it. The day of the wedding was so much fun and big part of this was due to Rob. I got so many compliments from guests- even my grandma wrote me a letter and told me how much she liked Rob. We had people dancing from 7:00pm until we made everyone leave at 10:00.

I can't remember the name of the party package I used but it was the middle level. In hindsight I would have added on recordings of the ceremony and Maid of Honor and Best Man Speech, which I believe is included in the highest level party package. I also used the uplighting (made the pictures look even better!). Lastly, I added on the photobus with lawn games. It was such a hit!

MC Franz and DJ Keith ran our party so well. Keith met with us before the party to get to know our family. We had so many compliments regarding the duo and one out of state child already plans to book them in a couple years! Keith played great music the entire night. Life of the Party was so amazing! Corey was so professional and he was so helpful through the entire process! He understood that our venue was a difficult venue, but that didn't stop him from delivering the best service! Corey told us that we could give him a song list for any part of our night to help make it feel as special as possible. He found all of our special requests for the ceremony and for our cocktail hour. During our dancing I told Corey to give us the party of our lives and that is exactly what he did! He even got out on the dance floor and danced with all our guests and had a mic on standby when my husband decided to have a impromptu karaoke moment to "Ice Ice Baby." Thank you so much for an incredible night of music and dancing Corey!

We had DJ Ryan at our wedding ceremony and reception, and he was perfect. Ryan kept the wedding on schedule and adapted as needed. We had a large playlist with a big variety (from oldies to new age rap/pop hits) and he mixed them together so the entire wedding party was dancing together (from Grandparents to small kids). I think Ryan was great because he made sure the music that was played resembled the exact feel and style we wanted.

A little bit difficult to pin down during the planning process, but the day of Todd was great. We had live singing during the reception, which he was really accommodating of. He got the party going and kept guests there dancing until the venue closed.

I just loved that they let you create your own playlist on their website beforehand, and then they call you and walk through the whole night with you. SUPER helpful. I wanted my wedding to be a rager and these guys delivered. Everyone danced the whole night!

I booked with this company because of the high reviews on Weddingwire. Because I live out-of-state, it was important to get someone highly rated from others.
I loved their website- I definitely took advantage of creating different playlists for my wedding as there were very particular songs I wanted played, and others not played. ;)
I submitted all my paperwork, forms, and lists to LoTP and we schedules a phone consultation a few weeks before the wedding. I am not sure if it was just because I was trying to coordinate everything from out of state, or if others had the same experience, but they were pretty ill prepared to talk. They kept asking me questions that I had provided in their required forms. I had provided details about my father being recently deceased and had to have an awkward conversation about that over the phone because they hadn't read it before the call.
The day-of services were great. If you are a super planner like I am, I would highly recommend meeting with them either by phone or in person at least 2-3 weeks before your wedding.

Corey did a great job not only being our DJ but the MC as well. He was flexible with all of the last minute schedule changes during our wedding. The final song was a bit odd - but ended up being perfect and got almost everyone out on the dance floor. "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats ended up being perfect.

rob was great to work with. we had many specifics that pertained to our "movie themed" wedding, he was very willing and even excited to put together the perfect mix. rob was very good at getting creative and presenting music we had not even thought of.
the only thing that caused us stress was he didn't want to have a final meeting until days before the event. he wanted it fresh in him mind, which was great for him, but by that time me and my now husband were so over the process we just wanted to hurry through the set list. i wish we had one more planning session to ease our stress level. if we had prepared further out it would have been more beneficial to us. there were a few miss communications on both us and dj rob, i felt we should have focused more on the timeline and less on the what to play list. our only complaint about dj rob was he did play one line dance, which we were very specific about not wanting any! he missed our cake cutting music, but that was do to our event planner not being on the ball more than dj rob. above all he was very fun, happy and energetic at out wedding. we would gladly work with him again.
