  Alexis Pierce, the owner and lead photographer, is a true gem; she provided gorgeous images in a timely manner, her communication was incredibly professional, and her warm, joyful personality made it easy to relax and take timeless, beautiful photos we will cherish for a lifetime!

  Excellent personalized photography!

  Lex was a perfect photographer for our wedding! Our wedding date was changed due to corona virus. She was so accommodating for the change! She was very personal with the pictures, working to capture the moments of surprise, happiness, and love during our pictures, wedding ceremony and reception. She toughed it out even though it poured through our entire wedding! She had unique ideas with umbrellas and made sure she addressed all the pictures we had envisioned on that day. I would recommend her to anyone looking for family pictures, wedding photos, or engagement photos, she was fantastic!! Thank you again Lex!!

  Couldn’t of been better!

  Lex is probably the easier person I have ever worked with! She is nice, professional and everything you would want in a photographer! My husband and I couldn’t of asked for a better experience!

  So talented and so thoughtful

  Lex was nothing short of amazing! She stepped in last minute and she did such an amazing job capturing our intimate ceremony. We love the creativity behind her shots and her eye for different backdrops. And her editing skills are so good! You not only will love your photos, you will enjoy working with her thoughtful and fun personality! We can't wait to have her capture our larger reception later this year!

  Amazing photographer

  I have worked with quite a few photographers everything from family pictures to senior pictures and to say Alexis was the easiest to work with would be an understatement. She makes your sessions so personal, is very easy to talk to, and her work is seriously top notch. I will be using her for every event possible from here on out. She made my wedding such an ease and was so amazing to work with! She is fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone!

  Lex was very easy to work with and help us relax during our sessions. She helped pose us and knew what backgrounds would look best. She was very quick to respond to us and was very quick to get our photos back to us in a timely manor.

  Koerting-Bowen Wedding

  Wonderful Wedding Photographer

  Alexis was a great photographer to work with for my wedding! She has such a great talent for making the pictures feel effortless. Leading up to the wedding, she gave suggestions about the day of timeline in order to keep things moving, and it helped to take some of the planning stress off of us. She and her assistant were so easygoing and fun on the actual wedding day, which made taking pictures a wonderful experience for everyone! I would definitely recommend Alexis for anyone looking for a photographer in the Indianapolis area!

  Talented Wedding Photographer

  Choosing Life by Lex as our wedding photographer was one of the easiest/best decisions that my husband and I made for our wedding. She was an absolute joy to work with! She kept us informed every step of the way and went above and beyond to be sure that everyone was comfortable during the actual picture taking process. When we got our final products back, we were beyond ecstatic! They were absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for a photographer that puts your mind at ease, makes the picture taking process enjoyable, and produces a final product that you will cherish forever—Lex is definitely your girl!!!

  Love lex!

  My husband and I absolutely love Lex! She made our experience relaxing and like we take professional pictures all the time. First thing she said when we started our engagement session was be yourselfs. After that we couldn’t stop laughing. And those are my FAVORITE pictures, showing the joy and love we share for each other. And our wedding pictures show just the same! She had me send her pictures I would like to see in my wedding pictures and she nailed everything I want and more!! And to top it all off my brother and sister in law loved her work and how well she worked with me and my husband at our wedding that they wanted her too! And of course she nailed their engagement and wedding sessions as well! I will never use another photographer for the rest of my life. LIFE BY LEX PHOTOGRAPHY FOR LIFE! You will NOT be disappointed!

  Amazing photos and sweet personality!

  Lex was wonderful to work with. She was helpful in planning out details, coming up with a schedule for the day, and so knowledgeable when I had any questions. She was so much fun to work with and was able to get genuine smiles from my husband in all our engagement and wedding photos. My husband and I just felt so comfortable around her. On our wedding day, Lex showed up and right from the beginning got to work. She blended into our group as we got ready and I am amazed with the photos that came from our wedding day. Everyone who sees them asks me who my photographer was! I recommend Lex to everyone I know getting married in the area and she will certainly be taking family photos for us in the future.

  We knew Lex from a friend of a friend, so didn't really know her well at all. She immediately made us feel relaxed at our engagement session, which continued over to the wedding day. She is so laid back, has amazing ideas and makes sure to incorporate what you want in your photos as well. She is fun to be around and makes the day special! She kept us on track for our time schedule and was very punctual with everything. Great quality photos- just beautiful- and great price for what you get. Cannot recommend her enough!

  Alexis was my wedding photographer. I loved the fact she didn’t charge extra for a second photographer and she had things planned out to follow along with my timeline. She got beautiful shots! My husband and I aren’t very photogenic so she was super helpful with assisting us into poses! Also super awesome that she has an engagement session built in the price of the wedding package! Will definitely use Lex again for other photos opportunities!
