Jay was absolutely phenomenal — truly everything we could have hoped for and more. From the start, he was professional, punctual, and an absolute pleasure to work with. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, and when we had a few special requests, he accommodated them all with genuine enthusiasm and care.
On the wedding day, he struck the perfect balance between being present and unobtrusive — we hardly noticed the cameras, yet he managed to capture every important moment and all the little details that made the day special.
When we received the finished videos, we were thrilled with the result. The 10-minute montage was beautifully edited, perfectly capturing the emotion and energy of the day, while the hour-long recording of the ceremony and speeches let us relive every meaningful moment. We will cherish these videos for many years to come, and we have Jay to thank for that! We looked at a ton of vendors and ultimately felt that Life and Love Studio was the best bang for your buck - an outstanding product at a reasonable price - and it even surpassed our expectations. It was everything we hoped for and more!

Thanks to Life and Love Studios, we can always relive every magical moment of our wedding day!
Our photos couldn’t have been more perfect! My husband and I absolutely love the quality, editing, and details our photographer, Alison, captured for both our engagement and wedding portraits.
The experience—from start to finish—was excellent. As a new bride, planning my wedding, I was unsure of what my vision was for photographs. As I’m sure many other brides-to-bes can relate, I wanted an album that would show our love at the ceremony, our joy at the reception, and the fun moments we shared with our family and friends.
Alison answered all my questions, was readily available, and went above and beyond to truly give us a more beautiful, artistic, and intentional array of images than I ever could’ve imagined!
Prior to our engagement photoshoot, we called and met. Alison was incredibly prompt and professional! She provided us with a questionnaire and checked in regularly, leading up to our date. The Life and Love Studios website was also incredibly secure and easy to navigate and pay invoices on.
Above all, I would recommend Alison to anyone getting married because of her clear dedication to being there and present.
Alison took our engagement photos in August; the location was downtown St. Augustine. My husband proposed to me after taking me to a popular restaurant there. Alison took the time to take photos of us near the building, with gorgeous, greenery details and flattering angles.
During our wedding, Alison was by my side, throughout. I appreciated her immensely, as she was easily the biggest stress reliever on my special day. For each moment I’ll remember most, there is a picture I can look back on, and smile just as much again.

We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose husband-and-wife team Allison and Jay for our wedding photography and videography! From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, creative, and supportive. They took the time to understand our vision and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire day.
The photos are absolutely stunning, capturing every precious moment with such detail and emotion. The videos are beautifully edited, allowing us to relive our special day as if it were happening all over again. Their ability to work together seamlessly added a special touch to our experience.

Alison & Jay are so amazing at what they do! When we knew we were getting married in St. Augustine, we booked an engagement photoshoot with Alison to try her out before booking for our wedding. We were amazed with the quality of her photos! She made us look like models! She’s very good at directing you how to pose and has a good eye for details. Her photos are always very aesthetic, and she knows how to capture the moment perfectly. We hired her and her husband, Jay, for our wedding and it was so worth every penny! We already knew Alison was wonderful, now let me talk about Jay. His videos are excellent, he captured every intimate moment of our wedding and edited an extended 40 minute highlight and a 10 minute highlight for us and OMG I felt like I was reliving the whole day! He did such a great job and is very talented at what he does. Life & Love Studio is the best of the best in the St. Augustine area and I highly recommend them! I mean, if you don’t believe me, just look at the pics, they speak for themselves. Love y’all, thank you for being a part of our special day! -

What a wonderful couple! I could not recommend a better photographer and videographer. My husband and I eloped at Otttis Castle in St. Augustine. Alison helped me with my dress and even went above and beyond making sure everything was prepared for our first look. Her and her husband made sure all of the details were taken care of which made everything a breeze. Our ceremony was all of 5 minutes but we had such a great time taking all of the pictures I had asked for and more. We even got to spend a few extra minutes on the beach which was an absolute blast. I can’t think this team enough! -

Alison and her husband were absolutely fantastic! From the beginning she made sure we'd get the photos we wanted and had some great suggestions of where to begin. She even helped out with extra things because she is a local of St. Augustine. Her advice and opinions were greatly appreciated along the way! She was so accommodating when we had to push back the engagement shoot multiple times and was so lovely to work with. I'm in love with the photos her and her husband took and can't wait to share them for years to come. Alison has been a part of every major event in my life the past 12 years. From senior photos, to engagement, to wedding, to maternity, and most recently family portraits. Without a doubt the most caring, creative, and talented photographer. She has a calming presence about her that makes you feel comfortable and even when the pose doesn't feel like it'll come out well, the finished product is incredible. She was there to help my wife and I when we were financially limited and always seems to have our best interest in mind. We recommend her to everyone that we can and are happy to see how far she has come since my senior photos back in 2009. So Alison and Jay are truly amazing and have such passion for what they do. There are honestly no words to describe how happy I am with my wedding photos and video. They work together so well and worked so hard during our wedding to get photos we really wanted. I got married in January and it was freezing on my wedding day, I was not even wanting to go outside! But Alison knew what was on my wanted list of photos so we went ahead and took photos outside and I'm super thankful to her that we did! Our photos turned out amazing. We also did our engagement photos with them which turned out amazing! I would recommend them to anyone and rehire them myself if any occasion pops up! Thank you so much Alison and Jay for bringing our wedding to life! -

Where do we even start?! Alison and Jay are pure magic! Alison first knocked our socks off when she took our gorgeous engagement photos at Vilano Beach - she captured our personalities, love for each other, goofiness, and the things we love most into photos we will treasure forever. We didn’t think it could get any better until we received our wedding photos. They are breathtaking! We absolutely adored walking through all of the pictures that Alison and Jay captured and reliving each moment or seeing our favorite day through the eyes of our guests. Everything from our getting ready photos, to portraits and wedding party, to ceremony photos that make us teary eyed all over again, then to family photos, first dance photos, and onto our fun reception photos (full of the most amazing candids we’ve ever seen) were literally picture perfect. Alison and Jay are beyond talented, very professional, and super personable. We can’t wait to work with them again in the future for family photos and major milestones. -

She has a wonderful personality which made working with her easy, and she has a very keen eye for what will look good in pictures. We loved how both sets of pictures she took of us turned out, and she was able to capture all of the magic and hapiness of the day. Alison & Jay truly captured not only our daughter and new son-in-law's beautiful day, but they captured "the spark" they share for each other! When we saw the photos, we relived the wonderful day through all of Alison & Jay's work. We sat mesmerized while seeing the photos for the first time. You can see and feel the love between the newly married couple and the happiness of their family & friends. We also were able to see the great time had by all that attended the wedding.
We couldn't be happier with the great job done by Alison & Jay! They came early in the day while we were all getting ready and worked tirelessly all day until the bride and groom were whisked away at the end of the day in their limo. Also the creativity and artistic touch to their pictures is really evident. The variety of settings and perfect lighting added to a beautiful collection of photos. They are true professionals who are extremely experienced at what they do! We look forward to seeing Jay's video as well.

They were so accommodating to us, especially being that we didn't even contact them until two weeks prior to our BIG DAY!! From day one, Jay and his entire team were amazing. They genuinely wanted to get to know Trip and I and our families and capture every moment from our perspectives. Everyone felt very comfortable with them being around, and that was very important to us. It was as though they were just one of the guys or one of the girlfriends hanging out while getting ready for the festivities. Jay and his team spent the entire day with Trip and I and caught every moment of our special day on camera. Trip and I will always remember every important detail of our big day with our family and friends because of them. Their work is amazing! -
