    One of the best decisions we made

    Lida was nothing short of incredible throughout the entire process. We had a little anxiety thinking about which photographers in the Houston area to choose from, but eventually ran into Lida at the Houston Wedding Expo at NRG Stadium. She's one of the nicest individuals you'll meet and was eager to discuss details and her packages over coffee with my husband and I. Her prices were not only affordable, but she was also great about mixing and matching what you what if it's not all in one of her packages. My bridals came out fantastic and the day of the wedding could not of gone smoother. Her and her second photographer had a plan for every step of the way and we were just sent over 1,000 photos of our wedding within a few weeks! At this point, the only issue we're having is figuring out which ones to choose for our wedding album/booklet that she's creating for our parents. She was always quick to respond and extremely professional from start to finish. We highly recommend Lida and she's just as amazing of a person as she is a photographer!

    Highly Recommend Lida!

    Lida was an absolutely amazing photographer and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone for their wedding. She has very reasonable rates and flexibility on how she'll apply them. For example, instead of an engagement or bridal photo shoot, we asked for a "first look" photo session, which she let us substitute for the engagement session in her package. She was very responsive to us over email and was flexible about scheduling our additional session. As a photographer, she is a delight with giving instructions on how to pose naturally. She was also amazing at herding our families for pictures (we had 11 siblings and 6 parents between the two of us, and all of them chatty and rambunctious). Lida was very willing to work with us when we had ideas of unusual photos that we wanted, and was excited to take photos that she hasn't taken before. Lida gets genuinely excited for you on your special day, and the photos all turn out amazingly.

    Stellar Service!

    Lida Mathews was by far the best decision I made for my wedding day (besides my man!). She checked in with me in the months preceding the wedding to make sure we had a solid plan going forward. On the day of, she was so cheerful, uplifting, and thorough, so I 100% trusted her and let go of feeling like I needed to control everything! She got every shot that I wanted, and the rest were so full of life and love that I couldn't choose favorites!! Everyone at the reception commented on how great she was, and I couldn't agree more. She made everyone feel at ease and got smiles out of all the kids, an impossible feat! We loved her, and you won't regret booking her!

    We are so happy we chose to have Lida Mathews be our photographer for our big day! She was so fun and energetic! She ensured she got all the must have photos. We are overwhelmed by how many great shots she was able to capture at our wedding. She truly is a talented photographer, whom has an infections personality. There is no need to stress with her, she has your back and will take good care of you.

    Lida is an absolute joy to work with and I am so unbelievably happy that I found her through a recommendation of a friend! Not only did Lida provide a professional and remarkable experience by capturing our Big Day but I can truly say that she makes you feel like like a friend that she cares deeply about. I cherish each and every picture that I have from my wedding day and bridal portraits, as well as looking forward to working with Lida in the future!

    Lida is an amazing person to work with! Would definitely recommend her to anyone for engagement and wedding photos. Will definitely use her again for other photo shoots in the future.

    Lida is SO wonderful to work with! We had an engagement session and wedding package with her, and it was worth every penny. She's incredibly talented, and spent time getting to know my husband and I, so that she knew exactly what we wanted/didn't want. Our engagement session was so fun and turned out beautifully. And our wedding photos are perfect!! She captured every perfect moment of the night, and made sure we had memories of every little detail. The quality of her work is outstanding and I plan to work with her for any future life events! Lida treated us with so much respect and I absolutely adore her. I would highly recommend choosing her!

    Lida was and is the best person I had to deal with when it came to my wedding!! I met her at a wedding show in here in Houston. She is so wonderful not only as a person but as a photographer. I have never taken professional photos before in my life and she made me feel totally comfortable and made me feel gorgeous!!! She will forever be my family photographer!!!

    Lida was the best decision I made for my bridal & wedding experience. She was the perfect mix of friend and professional allowing me to trust her guidance and enjoy the experience. Lida was able to pick the best locations for us delivering a stunning Houston back ground when I was not sure where to go. I highly recommend Lida and cannot wait to use her again for more photos. She is a gem, truly talented and will bring smiles to your special day!

    BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
    She goes above and beyond for her brides and their families. She is one of the most caring, thoughtful, giving human beings I have ever met and I am LUCKY to know her! You will be too, beleive me. Her professionalism is off the charts. She is courteous to the "family photographer" and is creative and caring with her style of photography. LADIES.. The price CAN'T BE BEAT! For a FRACTION of what EVERY other photographer charged (I can confidently say that as I looked all over Houston), Lida offered:
    Engagement photos, bridal makeup and hair for bridal portrait, bridal portrait session, 3 albums (parents of each and the couple). Wedding day services.. 12 hours with two photographers.. 12 hours girls. Let that sink in. She was there for everything, start to finish. As a result my husband and I and our families have the most beautiful pictures and memories thanks to Lida Mathews photography. Do yourself a favor and call her.

    Besides my husband, Lida was the best part of my wedding. She is very professional and put together and very kind. She was my wedding photographer but she will be my photographer for every big event in my life. The pictures are breathtakingly beautiful despite it being outside and unbelievably hot and a bad rain storm. She captured every detail.

    Lida was truly an amazing photographer. She really was really encouraging for both my husband and I and made us really comfortable. She was accommodating every step of the way. Her delivery was punctual and the product was good. I would recommend her to anyone look for a great photographer who really cares about what they do!
