Your Guests Will Dance All Night Long!

In two words: simply fantastic! We were lucky enough to hear Libido Funk Circus a couple times prior to our wedding at a fundraiser and outdoor concert. Upon hearing them for the first time, we knew they’d be the BEST wedding band. They keep your guests on the dance floor all night! And trust me, I’m talking about guests who are the last people you’d ever find on the dance floor in the first place!! I might even be one of those people myself, and when I tell you that I didn’t sit down at all during the reception because I was on the dance floor, it’s true (we have the pics to prove it! and I could barely walk the next morning). Bonus: our venue stated they were incredibly nice to work with. If you want your guests to have FUN and dance all night long, hire LFC!

Best Reception

I can’t say enough good things about having this band at our wedding. This was our exact vision for our reception. SO much fun! They handled the audio for the ceremony and the announcements for the wedding party introductions, cake cutting, first dance… Their communication with us and organization during the wedding planning allowed me to worry more about other details knowing that they had the entertainment handled (and they definitely did. The words flawless and amazing come to mind…) Reviews from our guests included “ the best wedding reception they had ever been to” and “my legs are actually sore from dancing all night”. THANK YOU LFC!

Professional. Timely. Great fun.

My parents saw LFC about 4-5 years ago at a family friends wedding and told me right then that they were going to be playing at my wedding. I laughed it off at the time but those same family friends had another child get married a couple years later and had LFC play at the wedding again. My parents were floored again with their performance and the family friends couldn't recommend them enough. So when my fiance and I were planning our wedding they were at the top of our list to talk to. After we both discussed with LFC, and received excellent and timley feedback from LFC, my fiance went and saw them perform in person at a bar. She was blown away by their performance and how they interact with the crowd while doing so.

LFC was always quick to answer an email or phone call. We dealt with Desiree' throughout and she was incredible and an excellent MC throughout the wedding as well. The band was amazing, and helped make our wedding night an incredible experience for everyone. In the days that have passed, we've gotten numerous texts and calls from family and friends that mentioned how great the band was.

One of the best decisions we made!

To start.. I booked them so far in advance that I couldn’t even technically book yet. Lol. I’m honestly so glad I did. We had almost 200 people. So it was important for me to be sure they were completely entertained.
LFC didn’t skip a beat! They had that dance floor filled the whole night. We had a really big area for dancing and a serrated area for eating. And I got nervous for a moment because I couldn’t tell how full the dance floor was and I saw a ton of empty tables!
Everyone was out on that dance floor lol.
As a band entertainment level they nailed it.
As a band professional level they nailed it.
As awesome humans they nailed it.
It’s been over a month and we are still having people tell us how great they were!

Fantastic from start to finish

Around Memorial Day 3 years ago we happened to see Libido Funk Circus and thought they were fantastic! So when we started planning our wedding it was an easy decision on who we wanted our entertainment to be. From our first meeting to our last, Desiree was extremely detailed. She thought of everything. From top to bottom, left to right, even things that we had no idea that we had to think of. Now on to the wedding day. Libido Funk Circus was incredible!!! Our friends and family are still calling us saying how much they loved the band. The variety of songs, the way they performed them, and their interaction with our guests kept the dance floor full the entire night.

Desiree and LFC were awesome!

We hired Libido Funk Circus to play at our wedding reception, and it was the best decision we could have made. Of course the band was top-notch, and they did an excellent job entertaining our guests that night. But more than that…having Desiree there was a godsend. Not only did she do a fantastic job of being the MC for the night, but she helped organize and simplify our entire night. At times, she was actually helping our wedding planner stay on track with the schedule! I can’t recommend Libido Funk Circus enough…and especially Desiree. Honestly, it’s hard to imagine what that night would have looked like without her!

Libido Funk Circus was the perfect choice for us!

Both my husband and I grew up in families full of musicians, so when it came time to choose a band for our wedding, we knew we had to hire a band that would impress even the toughest critics. Libido Funk Circus was the PERFECT choice! Not only are they extremely talented, but the energy they brought to our party was simply infectious. Everyone from my 4-year-old niece to my husband’s 97-year-old grandmother were out on the dance floor right from the beginning of the night until the very last dance. My husband and I had very definite ideas about what kind of music we wanted for the reception, so the fact that Libido Funk Circus let us create our own set list was what initially sold us on the band. But their boundless energy and enthusiasm is what truly made the night a true success.

Hired LFC for a conference with a mix of ages from young professionals to retirees. They had the dance floor packed the entire night. Had a great sound and gave songs their own creative twists. Great selection too!

This band rocked! They went above and beyond our expectations! They took a lot of time talking with us to determine sounds , agendas, timelines, set up etc. they did the introductions at the wedding , kept everything going and everything had a ton of fun. Would highly recommend them and i would book them again! Super people to get along with.

LFC was absolutely amazing at our wedding!!! They were great at coordinating with us beforehand. They have a very versatile song list with options that will please everyone. I was shocked at how empty our reception looked all night, because everyone was on the dance floor the whole time! LFC is very responsive to the crowd and had a great feel for the kind of music the crowd was looking for at every moment. Highly recommend!

Libido Funk Circus was absolutely wonderful for our wedding!!! I cannot sing their praises enough. We had about 300 people for a black tie wedding in Chicago and every single guest was dancing the night away! They were entertaining, organized, professional, and oh so talented! I would HIGHLY recommend them for any event!

I had the pleasure and the opportunity to see Libido Funk Circus at one of our town summer festivals. They were nothing short of amazing. Watching the crowd dance, sing along and smile the whole time solidified my decision to have them at our next local function.

Every October we host our annual fall fundraiser. Political events tend to get boring, people leave after the speeches, nobody dances and quite honestly there is never any quality entertainment.

Our theme this year was a "Great Gatsby" event. After speaking with Desiree during our booking meeting, she said we would love to do it and would even dress up to fit the theme of the party. They did not disappoint. Not only did they bring the same passion and professionalism that I saw at our town festival, they went above and beyond.

The dance floor was packed, the guest are still raving about their performance, the music rocked and nobody left until they were done playing. They are a must have whether it is a wedding, town function or private event. Desiree and her band are an all-around first class operation, and without hesitation, we would have them back again.

LFC was the perfect band for our wedding. They were VERY easy to work with leading up to the ceremony and had everything figured out so there was no confusion on the day of the wedding. LFC kept the party going all night to the point where the guests were screaming "one more song" at the end! We have received endless compliments on LFC and we would choose them every time. THIS BAND IS AMAZING!!!!! They did not stop playing!!! I do not know how many people came up to us and told us how incredible they were! They are the real deal and you feel like you hired a private concert for the night! They make you feel so special and even let me get up on stage and party with them for a song! They shut the place down and it was definitely one our highlights of the evening! They even sang my husband and I's first song which was so special that they were able to do that for us! Do not hesitate on LFC, write the check and be done with it! :-)

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to share how AMAZING Libido Funk Circus is. We got married in June of 2016 and could not have had a better band! My mom had heard Libido Funk Circus play at a wedding expo years before I even got engaged and loved them! So when we got engaged it was an obvious choice for us. They had our dance floor packed from the minute they started playing until the very last song! We gave some guidance as to what types of songs we liked, but for the most part we had them take the lead and do what they do best, which is keep the dance floor rocking! If you have them at your wedding you have to ask them to play Cecilia with the drums, it was incredible! We still have friends and family who every time we see them they gush about how much fun our wedding was and that it was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding! Thank you for making our wedding the most fun and memorable day ever!

AS NEWLYWEDS, our advice is BOOK NOW!!! The Libido Funk Circus is by far the most thrilling wedding band! We still get RAVE REVIEWS FROM OUR GUESTS!

THE BAND WAS EARLY, set up and ready to go before we even arrived at the venue. EXTREMELY HELPFUL rearranging tables on account of extra unexpected guests. Took care of all the needed FANTASTIC ANNOUNCEMENTS so all our guests could relax and enjoy the party. Kept our special day on schedule. WE WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN!

GREAT SHOW!!! Started formal and transitioned into fun and funky. TOTALLY SURPRISED EVERYONE!!! Outrageously AWESOME COSTUMES kept GUESTS DANCING ALL NIGHT LONG! Huge selection of songs and went out of their way to learn special songs. WE LOVE THE LIBIDO FUNK CIRCUS!!!

Libido Funk Circus was hands-down the best wedding decision we made! I can't recommend them enough. Seriously guys, the reviews you are reading are not exaggerating -- they are AMAZING! Extremely talented, highly professional, super organized and dependable, and so. much. fun! Not to mention an awesome group of people!

From the very start, I knew we were in good hands with Desire'e. She was incredibly easy to work with and responsive during the planning process, and on our wedding day, she made sure everything ran smoothly from the moment we entered the reception to the last song.

LFC kept our reception rocking from start to finish. They are so good at what they do, and I cannot stress that enough. You will not have to worry about whether or not your guests are having fun -- they will be out on the dance floor the entire night, having a blast, guaranteed. As soon as we got engaged, my now husband and I knew that we NEEDED to have Libido Funk Circus at our wedding. Have you ever been to an LFC performance? If not, you need to. The crowd goes absolutely crazy for them. We knew that if LFC performed at our wedding that we would have a legendary wedding, and who doesn’t want that?! By the way, we were right our wedding was legendary and in large part to LIBIDO FUNK CIRCUS! Our wedding guests are still talking about our wedding more so about LFC. The members of LFC are super talented individually and even more so together. The members of LFC all have high energy, loads of personality, talent, they are funny, and the music will keep you dancing all night long. So if you are looking to have a fun wedding, then it is as simple as L F C. LFC took care of our ceremony music, emceeing our event, cake cutting music, first dance, father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, dinner music, equipment for all of the speeches, and of course the dance party. They even coordinated their outfits to match our wedding colors. My favorite part about LFC besides everything is that they personalized some of their performance for us, which made us feel even more special. For example, LFC talked about how my husband and I met at a carwash before breaking out into the song “Car Wash” by Rose Royce. Which leads me to my next point, the music selection is AWESOME! Have you heard that LFC plays 50 years’ worth of music? Everything from ACDC to Pitbull to Luke Bryan to the BeeGees to Frankie Valli to Prince, and the list goes on and on! LFC will cater to any of your music needs. I can go on and on about this wonderful group of people, but I think it’s time for you to check out the hype that is Libido Funk Circus for yourself. Go check them out at a local bar, festival, or book them for your wedding right now!

OMG where do I start? I literally planned my wedding day so that we could have LFC play at our wedding! They were so wonderful, accommodating, informative, responsive... Desiree took control thought out all of the planning. Not only did they provide the musical entertainment, but they Emceed the entire wedding! They have this genius paperwork break down where you put when and what songs you want played, what names to be announced, they actually helped organize my entire wedding day! I knew this when my Wedding Coordinator asked me, "when do you want to do the Grand Entrance, When do you want do the cake cutting, first dance, daddy/daughter dance, announcements for 1st speeches, ect". I told her Desiree and the gang got it! :) Not to brag, but people are STILL talking about how Sweet our wedding was and I'd be lying if i didn't say it was largely due to LFC! They got everyone on the dance floor, young and old...they kept the night going. It was an Honor to have them apart of my Big Day. You'd be lucky to have them too. Love you guys!!!

We just had our wedding in May and one of the most talked about highlights from our guests was LFC. My wife wanted live music at the wedding, so I reviewed a dozen or so bands. Most bands have a very cliche wedding vibe and sound, but after watching LFC perform in Chicago at a festival, I knew they weren't a stuffy/boring band. A great band that happens to perform at weddings, versus only performing weddings, LFC brought great energy, stage performance, interaction, and fun to the wedding. I would highly recommend :-)

LFC was beyond amazing! We could not have discovered a more perfect band for our wedding. They were fabulous to work with from start to finish. Dozens of our guests said it was the best band they have heard at a wedding. Many mentioned feeling like they were at a concert! Our dance floor was packed for our entire reception, which was a dream come true for us. They kept our guests dancing and singing all night long with their tremendous set lists including trendy and classic songs. The band members were charismatic and fun! Overall, we cannot say enough amazing things about this band. I promise you will not be disappointed. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!!

LFC is worth their weight in gold! They had our wedding rocking from start to finish. They also sang our first dance which was pretty dang special. I've never been to any wedding where a band kept the party going from start to finish-- the dance floor was never empty once until 1am (an hour past our end time). They're so interactive and fun-- even at a formal wedding. All my friends had an amazing time-- Thank you LFC for the amazing entertainment at our wedding!

O MY GOD! Best wedding band in the world. EVERYONE at our wedding was raving about them. They are so talented and sounded incredible. They have such an amazing selection of songs - it was hard to pick! My husband and I are obsessed with Halloween and costumes to the costumes that they put on were perfect for us. They played for three hours straight and sounded better and better in each song. Their endurance was outstanding.

On top of them being the best performers, working with Desiree was incredible. She was so sweet and very willing to work with us so that we could have LFC at our wedding. They were one of the most reasonable bands that we found and sounded the best out of all of the bands that we scouted. Throughout our shopping process, Desiree was patient and answered all of my questions. They provided all of the sound equipment that we needed throughout the day and managed to take care of everything without bothering Tim and I. The icing on the cake was on the day of the wedding. We were running really far behind during dinner. Desiree came up to me and had already re-worked the schedule with my photographer so that we could still get everything that we wanted despite the massive delay. She and the band even agreed to play a full three hour set without any breaks. It was truly remarkable and I felt very fortunate. I honestly want to book them annually to just come to my backyard and play for our friends and family. They really made our wedding night! We will definitely be going to see them at many other shows!

You cannot find another wedding band as good as LFC! If you don't book them, you will regret it!

Libido Funk Circus played at our wedding on July 10, 2015. I could go on for days about how fantastic they were! They are super talented and professional people and musicians! I could not be happier with the choice to have them play at the wedding! They were phenomenal! They got the whole crowd going the entire reception…and so many people commented how much fun the band was. All announcements were coordinated through them as well, and went seamlessly. I had nothing to worry about; they had everything under control the entire evening! I would recommend this band to anyone that is looking for a fun, upbeat band that will make their wedding unforgettable. Libido Funk Circus was one of my favorite parts of the wedding, an absolute dream come true!

These guys knocked it out of the park at our wedding - they came complete with a light show, worked with our unique venue, and delivered on every request we made. If you want a band that people will have your entire wedding on the dancefloor, and guests talking about for months after, these guys are it. We even have family members seeking them out at summer festivals this summer to see them again.

The only constructive criticism I would give is two of our requests could use some practice - Chicken Fried & Party in the USA. They were both still great, but didn't sound as amazing as the rest of their set.

This band knows what to play and when to play it. My dance floor was NEVER even half empty. Everybody at my wedding said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended, and LFC was one of the main reasons. I would recommend this band to anyone who wants a fun, upbeat wedding that is catered to you and your guests liking. Dez is the ultimate pro when it comes to helping you put together a song list. LFC plays all the modern popular hits as well as many oldies. Every song they play, they do well. If you want a CANT MISS BAND for your wedding, then LFC is the band for you! My wedding was on Valentines Day 2015.

Wow! One word pretty much sums it up. The band did a fantastic job at my recent fundraiser, so much so that I lost track of the number of people who commented that it was "The Best Party Ever!" I had never booked a band before, so I was a little concerned. I shouldn't have been. Throughout the booking process Jeff was very professional, and made everything very easy. His followup and communications were excellent, I never felt like I had to track him down for anything. As the date approached, Desiree' contacted me to review some setup details and go over set lists and song selection, again, a very smooth process. On show day, the band was there on time as promised to completed their setup and sound check. Every single one of them was very pleasant and engaging, true professionals! Then came showtime...and the rest is history! On top of being one of the best sounding bands I've every heard (including many big national acts) they are exceedingly entertaining. Too many bands just stand up there and play, not Libido Funk Circus. Lots of audience interaction and playing off the crowd's energy. It was such a success that I booked them on the spot for next year. I can promise that your money will be well spent, and your guests will leave with an exhausted smile after a fantastic evening! What are you waiting for? Go ahead and book Libido Funk Circus for your next event...you won't be sorry!

This made the night. Countless amount of our guest came up to us and asked us what the name of the band was. Even the bartender asked. They kept all of our guest entertained and involved. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. It was more than a DJ but worth every penny. So glad we choose LFC to play our wedding.

LFC was excellent in every way throughout the night. The musicianship was excellent and the eclectic selection of songs was great. They started out the night by playing some older tunes that the older generation knew and liked, then moved on to many popular songs today, which the younger generation loved. They had almost all of the guests dancing at some point throughout the night and put on a really great show. When preparing for the wedding, I was very impressed by their list of available repertoire - I think they had over 300 songs we could select from - from the 50s and 60s and Motown all the way to 2014. I would highly recommend LFC to play any wedding because of their vast selection and ability to play all of their selection very well. Their energy was also great, and they had coordinated dancing for many of their songs. After the wedding, our guests raved about the band and many of my unmarried friends have already asked about LFC for their weddings!

I loved having LFC play for my wedding! The dance floor was full from the first song to the last!! Desiree was so helpful with helping me plan out the reception as well. We have received so many compliments from our guests about the band, and guests saying it was the best wedding they've been too because of LFC. We could not have been happier!

Having LFC at our wedding was the best choice we could've ever made! They were so much fun and our guests absolutely loved them! Libido Funk Circus definitely set the tone for our wedding! I saw people on the dance floor who I did not anticipate to be out there! Several people told me it was the best and most fun wedding they'd ever attended! They were flexible with our schedule and allowed us to have the evening we had envisioned. Libido Funk Circus is totally awesome!! Our wedding guests are still talking about them a month later! (seriously! Just yesterday, another compliment about the band!). They turned our "Tie-the-Knot" Tour theme into a real, live rock show! Not to mention, Jeff & Desiree are so easy to work with - true professionals. I'm pretty 'Type A' and ask a lot of questions, send a lot of emails and they were always ready with answers. If you're looking for a "get the party started" super fun and funky band, LFC is the way to go!!

When I started to plan our wedding, my husband had only two requests that were important to him. Number 1 was to have a band instead of a DJ and number 2 was open bar (of course). Most weddings have DJs and the majority of the guests leave by 9-10PM. We wanted our guests to party on the dance floor until the venue closed and would have an amazing time. When my in-laws told us about LFC (they saw them at a local bar), we watched their online video right away and knew they were the band for us. We booked them even before we both saw them play in person!!! My bridesmaids, my husband, and I went to see them live over the summer and they were awesome! This is not your typical wedding band, but a high-energy band that is so fun and exciting to watch and dance to. My wedding was honestly the best wedding I've ever been to and I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding. It's been over a month now and our guests are still talking about how our wedding was: "the most fun I've had in years," "the best wedding ever," and "I never left the dance floor," "I can't wait to go see the band play again!" LFC kept my dance floor packed all night and less than 5% of my guests went home before the venue closed at midnight. Thank you to Desiree Harris and the entire band and crew for making our wedding day unforgettable and we cannot wait to see you again soon! Libido Funk Circus was the highlight of our wedding reception! All of our guests were raving about how great the were, and the dance floor was PACKED from the very first song to the last! They have a great selection of songs and make it fun with costume changes throughout the night. Desiree was great to work with to get everything organized, and she did a wonderful job of making the announcements and making sure everything was on schedule. LFC is worth every penny and will guarantee a great wedding reception or party!

This is an amazing band. From the first song to the last, the dance floor was packed. They also made the announcements for us. i.e.: Introducing the wedding party, etc. Their voices and instrumentals are amazing. We especially liked the "Thriller" with costumes, and their "Cecelia" song with drums. Fantastic! But there wasn't a bad some in their list. If you want a successful wedding, there are 3 musts: Great Food, Great Drinks, and Great Music. LBC will MAKE your wedding a night to remember!

Libido Funk Circus is absolutely incredible. Everyone at our wedding is still talking about the band and how they had an amazing time dancing and watching the band. We had the pleasure of including LFC in our July of 2008 wedding and couldn't have been more pleased with their level of entertainment for our guests. I was expecting great entertainment, but also had the expertise of Desiree to help make the reception go smoothly. I'll never forget her calming presence and advice. She continued to remind me to have fun and have the reception I wanted. She refused to let anyone get in the way of that. I still have people of all ages telling me what a great time they had at the reception because of the superior quality of music. You cannot go wrong hiring LFC!!

We wanted this band for our wedding reception from the moment we set a date and we were very fortunate that everything fell into place for that to happen. They were extremely responsive to all of my questions and very easy to work with. This band provided wonderful entertainment for us on the night of our daughter's wedding. They conducted themselves in a very professional manner and were excellent in the music they played. We loved LBF at my sisters' wedding so much that we decided to have them at our own...and we loved them again! Would highly recommend. Great performance, the crowd loves them, and they are courteous, responsive and professional--an all around pleasure to work with! People have been telling us for weeks now that our wedding was by far the most fun one they've ever been to and I think it's largely due to the band.

Spend your extra money on the entertainment. So worth it. The dance floor was full all night long and the energy they put off was incredible. Your guest will remember how much fun they had on the dance floor more than what kind of flowers you had or what they had to eat! This is the 2nd time we hired LFC for our daughter's wedding receptions. I don't have any daughters left to get married or I would be using their services agin.

LFC was an incredible part of our wedding reception. They brought so much energy to the room. Many guests of all ages were dancing the night away. They definitely play to the audience. Desiree' was very helpful with all of my questions before the event. The band exceeded our expectations on the night of the event. The energy on the dance floor was infectious and lasted until the last song was played!
