  We love Lia!!!

  Lia is so amazing at what she does. I hate being behind a camera but she really helped me feel confident and comfortable. I’m so excited to see our wedding photos! The ones she showed us on her camera looked amazing 💖 We can’t wait to use her for future photos!

  BEST choice we made!

  Lia came highly recommended from several of our friends who had been married over the last few years. She either photographed their engagements and / or wedding. We had even attended a few weddings she was working! We met Lia and her husband, Tyler (he's one of her second shooters) for lunch and hit if off instantly with them! They are so sweet - and their love for each other radiates. We felt instantly comfortable knowing they'd be the ones following us around on our wedding day. We laughed and connected and talked details about the wedding / their booking process and how they operate their business. It was the best "business meeting" I've ever been to! The focus was always on our vision, who were were as a couple, and how they could achieve capturing that from a photography standpoint. The attention to detail was unlike anyone else we met with and we knew immediately we'd be hiring them. The whole process was seamless, never stressful, and they were incredible on our wedding day. Our images are gorgeous - and the online gallery they use to share them is super easy to use. Even my not so tech savvy mom was able to download pictures without a problem! Basically, the best all around experience we would have ever asked for!

  Beautiful photographer = beautiful photos

  I had the joy of working with Lia for both my 2020 micro ceremony and my 2021 reception and I’m so glad I picked her as my photographer. Lia’s photos are so beautiful and breathtaking, she truly captured the essence of the day! Lia is also the nicest person ever and truly helps to make sure all your wedding moments are photographed.

  Best wedding photographer!

  OMG - where do I even start?! Lia is amazing. So so amazing! She travels up and down the east coast, heck all over the country + internationally, goes to soo many different venues, and works with soo many different people that her experience in this industry radiates in her beautiful photography which radiated in our beautiful wedding photos! It's really clear that Lia loves what she does, because she treats her clients like gold and is sooo kind! I recommend her to anyone and everyone who asks for a photographer!

  So so happy!

  I don't even know where to start with saying how amazing Lia is at what she does! From Lia's very first email to us we absolutely knew she was going to be our photographer because you could tell that she genuinely cared about us as a couple. She went above and beyond in connecting with us, and made the entire booking / planning process so easy and hassle fee but still totally professional. When we got together for engagements, Lia had made such an effort to get to know us, that it was like we were getting together with an old friend that just happened to have a camera. We were totally comfortable with her - so there was no awkwardness going on. She also does an insane job at capturing authentic pictures by giving you things to do instead of just posing and snapping photos while you stand still. We were walking, holding hands, dancing, snuggling - allll kinds of stuff! It was seriously SO fun, even my fiance enjoyed taking photos with her! On the wedding day Lia was such a calm + fun presence! She had planned out the photography and timing ahead of the wedding with me, so there weren't any hiccups. My fiance and I could just relax knowing she'd capture exactly what we wanted. We didn't have to give her a shot list or anything like that, she just naturally covered sooo much and completely nailed it! If you're looking for a wedding photographer that is fun, adventurous, who also takes amazinggg photos - Lia is your girl! Just do yourself a favor and go ahead and book her! You'll be so happy you did!!

  Lia is unlike any other!

  Lia was the ultimate professional. She is creative and has tons of her own ideas but she is also flexible and wants to incorporate as much of the bride's style into her photos. I am extremely happy with her!

  Lia was sooo much more than just a vendor to us. Throughout the planning process, it was so evident that she really cared about who we were as a couple and wanted to make sure that carried through into what we wanted photographed on our wedding day. We had already connected so much before our engagement shoot that she easily brought out genuine interaction and smiles between me and my fiance. The experience was so much fun! We walked away with amazing photos, and amazing memories. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and her spirit are just a few of her amazing qualities.   We love lia!

  Lia is such a sweetheart and her work is beautiful! She's fun, kind, and so professional! We lived a few states away from where we were getting married, so all of our planning was done via long distance. Despite the distance, Lia was always there for us helping every step of the way! Our images are beautiful - a true reflection of who we are as a couple. We will cherish them forever!!

  Above and Beyond all Expectations!

  For my husband and I, finding the right photographer was one of the highest items up on our list. We knew that a good photographer could make even the most drab of spaces appear magical and come to life. From the moment I saw Lia’s work, I could tell she had the exact style we wanted for our wedding and I was eager to meet with her. After our very first meeting, it was a done deal, I knew she was the perfect match and she made me feel comfortable right away (which is so important!) Lia’s passion for her work is contagious, her attention to detail is remarkable, you can tell she takes pride in what she does and she does it very well. Going into our wedding I didn’t have much guidance or experience and she helped me through every step, explaining thoroughly how things are typically done but also giving us the flexibility to change and cater anything to our own personality. Prior to our wedding day, she met with us for an mini-session engagement shoot which helped prep my husband to get comfortable taking pictures with a professional photographer. The photos we received back from our mini-session were so amazing and it made us even more excited to have her as our photographer on our big day. Then when our wedding day finally came, Lia was unbelievable! I have to admit, the circumstances were not desirable. Our outdoor wedding on a late September evening was a record high temperature and it was scorching hot the entire night! However, looking at our photos you would never be able to tell how much sweat was going on! She did an amazing job of not only keeping our spirits up, but also keeping my husband engaged, and the photos she delivered were nothing short of a pure romantic fairytale! If it’s not clear enough by now, I cannot rave enough about Lia! I would recommend Lia over and over again and hope to work with her again in the future!

It's evident that she truly cares about her clients and takes so much extra care so that you know how much you mean to her! Her Wedding Photography Magazine to help with planning is the best, and the Questionnaire she sends out to brides left me feeling 150% confident she would capture exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. She also helped arrange our timeline so we would get the most out of our day, including giving us a family formals shot list to fill out to keep everything organized. I am totally obsessed with her editing, the gallery she sent us is breathtaking. She is so talented, and was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!

  We are so thankful to have booked with Lia. We booked her more then a year in advance because we heard so many great things about her. She saw the vision that we wanted for our wedding day.   The BEST Choice You Could Make!

  One word to describe Lia and her work - INCREDIBLE. We booked Lia nearly a year out from our wedding and she went from a vendor to a friend in no time at all. She works endlessly to make you feel comfortable with her and her work and the connection she makes with you is wonderful. The day we took our engagement photos with her was the day we met her and it was as if we had been lifelong friends. Throughout the wedding planning process Lia reached out to make sure we didn't need assistance or guidance with anything and offered to meet to talk to ease my mind. We talked monthly and sometimes even weekly/daily leading up to our wedding. As if she wasn't a great person - her work is PHENOMENAL!
  
  Her style is more "photograph" like and moody as opposed to the "light and bright" editing style you typically find and it really transforms your pictures from "just pictures" to art. She poses you and guides you but also gives you the freedom for you as a couple to be you and sticks it out no matter the circumstances (when I say no matter the circumstances I am talking about being eaten alive by mosquitos during our engagement photos and standing outside in all black in 100 degree heat index for 9 hours of coverage for our wedding while 3 months pregnant.) Please, do yourself a favor and book Lia now. We just got sneak peaks back from our wedding 2 days ago and we are already dreaming about a one year anniversary shoot with her. Photographs are the one thing you get to keep from your wedding and I can assure you that you cannot make a better choice than booking Lia for your wedding!

Lia is so so sweet, everyone at the wedding kept raving about how bubbly and kind our photographer was! She really felt like a part of the family! Lia gave us over 1,000 STUNNING images from our day, and we couldn't have been happier with her services.

  Engagement Photos

  Lia is amazing to work with and her photography speaks for itself! I've always been a huge fan of her photos, and I'm so glad we had her do our engagement photos. She was flexible with our schedule, and even though it was 20 degrees on the beach and 1 week after a snowstorm, she was still 100% committed to our session! It was our first time having a professional photographer take photos of us, and Lia made us feel so comfortable and at ease! She was also very patient with our Australian shepherd, who sometimes didn't have the best attention span. I highly recommend Lia!

  Professional, Kind, and incredibly Talented!

  Lia went above and beyond for me and my fiance. First, she created a beautiful Magazine for her brides and grooms to help them with planning - I've never heard of a photographer doing that. It explained things we'd never have known to do, because we aren't photographers. She has so much professional knowledge, and she is an open book with helping take her clients wedding dreams and turning them into reality through photography. Things like where to put your make-up artist for the best lighting, what time of day to have our outdoor ceremony, which way to face our outdoor ceremony so the pictures would turn out. On the day of our wedding, she navigated hiccups with ease and was so incredibly flexible for us. The photos she took of us on our day tell the story of our wedding so beautifully, my whole family cried together as we looked over the gallery she sent us. There are so many moments she captured that I didn't even realize she was taking photos of! So many beautiful candids! Lastly, above all else, Lia is just so so nice. She was a total pleasure to work with, we would hire her ten times over!

  Lia went above and beyond for me and my fiance. First, she created a beautiful Magazine for her brides and grooms to help them with planning - I've never heard of a photographer doing that. It explained things we'd never have known to do, because we aren't photographers. She has so much professional knowledge, and she is an open book with helping take her clients wedding dreams and turning them into reality through photography. Things like where to put your make-up artist for the best lighting, what time of day to have our outdoor ceremony, which way to face our outdoor ceremony so the pictures would turn out.   Such a kind person!

  Lia photographed our wedding in August of 2017, and we still constantly recommend her to our friends and family that get engaged! She photographed our engagements, our wedding, and even our pregnancy! Lia is so much more than a photographer. It is evident through her customer service, attention to detail, and compassion that she truly cares for her clients. She constantly checked in with us to see how planning was going, and offered to help in any way she could. It *poured* on our wedding day, which was supposed to be an outdoor wedding. We weren't able to do bride and groom portraits outside. Lia gifted us a bridal portrait session and completely redid outdoor portraits with us on a different weekend because she knew how much they meant to me!! She didn't have to do that, she had more than fulfilled her contract to us and could have easily charged us for the additional timer, but she didn't. It was out of the kindness of her heart that she went above and beyond to ensure our happiness. Her beautiful images of us hang on the walls in our homes, and rest on our coffee tables in albums. We are so grateful to her for preserving some of the best days of our lives. PS Lia: We are expecting again and will be calling you soon to book another shoot!

  Simply the best!

  Lia is simply the best and we couldn't have been happier with our photography experience leading up to our wedding and on our wedding day! She always went above and beyond, seriously bending over backwards to help us. My fiancé and I lived in Georgia during the planning process, but were having our wedding in the mountains of Virginia because all of our family is from there. This made for some tricky planning logistics at times, but Lia was ALWAYS available to text / call / Face-time whenever we needed it. Leading up to our wedding we planned to fly up to Virginia to meet with our planner and tour our venue. Lia literally drove 4-hours to meet us there so she could see our vision first hand since she hadn't worked at the venue before!! Like seriously - who else is willing to do that?! She worked alongside our wedding planner to create a custom photography timeline for us to make sure that all of our wishes were honored on our wedding day. Her and her second shooter each had printed copies of the timeline and it was super helpful with keeping everything smooth and organized the day of. There were so many moments Lia captured during the wedding day that I would have forgotten about had she not been there. Lia shot everything we wanted, and took photos of things we would have never even thought to take! I really love prints, so going into our wedding that was something important for us in finding a photographer. Lia has a full service printing shop with her business, and created *beautiful* canvases for us to hang on our walls! We also ended up having a few albums made from the day full of her photos so we can look back at them anytime. They are the best photos I've ever seen!! I couldn't have asked for a better experience or a better photographer!

  Lia is AMAZING. She took my fiancé and I to the eastern shore for our engagement shoot and we had so much fun looking for different places to capture moments. She will take your vision and go above and beyond for you. I just met her this year after she photographed my sisters engagement shoot. They were soo beautiful, we decided to go with Lia as well. Even though we just met it was like working with someone we have known forever. I'm so glad we went with Lia I cannot wait until she captures our wedding day!

As a fellow full-time wedding photographer myself, I was super picky about who I would choose to hire for my own wedding. I found Lia through Junebug Weddings, and Lia provided me with full sample galleries of weddings and engagements during our sit-down consult. She even brought sample prints to show me how the images would look in print compared to just seeing them on the computer. I love her warm editing style, and her eye for candids. She would prompt me and my fiance to do things like slow dance, or have us whisper silly things in each other's ears to make us laugh while she photographed us. Everything felt so genuine and authentic, the whole experience was so much fun for us. My fiance was even like "wow! that was fun!" after our engagement shoot, haha! On the wedding day, she was calm, kind, and organized. I've heard other people say this about her - but it was like working with an old friend.
