Ryan was an amazing DJ! Very professional, friendly, easy to work with, and he exceeded our expectations. Everyone knows the key to a great wedding is having a great DJ and Ryan did just that. Also, the Levity Events portal is a game changer and super helpful if you are needing guidance on which songs to choose for which parts of the night.

We worked with DJ Ray and he was amazing! Our main goal was to have the dance floor packed all night and Ray definitely pulled that off! We also had a few surprises up our sleeves for guests that we needed Ray to assist with music wise and he executed it flawlessly. Would recommend DJ Ray and Levity to anyone getting married!

We had the pleasure of having Sean as our DJ for our wedding. Sean was amazing! He was very accommodating to our wants/needs and was very easy to work with. Sean's got one heck of an awesome personality and we would love to have him again for any future events. There was a small hiccup with our venue's power for about three hours (outside of Sean's control) and Sean did everything he could to find an alternative power source to continue our wedding music. Overall, 10/10 experience with Levity Events and especially Sean! Thank you so much!

We aren’t even sure where to start, our journey with Ryan Botts at Levity Events was nothing less than phenomenal! His communication and attention to detail were top notch, our ceremony went off without a hitch and he nailed The Office dance for us!

Fantastic Experience!
Dustin was the DJ at our wedding and he was truly amazing! In the months leading up to the wedding, Dustin was very helpful...If I sent an email with a question, he was very quick to respond, and we had a couple planning meetings which were great! On the day of the wedding, he did an excellent job during both the ceremony and reception. We had a relatively small wedding with a lot of guests that aren't huge fans of dancing, and Dustin helped get everyone on the dance floor and make it a ton of fun! We cannot recommend Dustin and Levity Events enough!

We can’t say enough great things about Sean! We had a pretty non-traditional schedule, and he rolled with every change effortlessly. He was very considerate of our requests and did an amazing job. We had opted not to have a wedding coordinator and instead have a more relaxed and less scheduled out wedding day. Dustin was able to easily accommodate and did an amazing job of adapting to anything we threw at him.

From the start of wedding planning to the execution of the dj services at the event, Levity did a wonderful job at fitting our needs. Ryan Botts interviewed us and showed us how to plan out the music for the event while also getting to know us on a personal level to match us with he best dj to fit our personalities. We got paired with Joe Morrione who was really good at listening to the vision we had for the night and adapting to changes on the fly when they came. He matched the music well for the current vibes on the dance floor and also had the best choices for a lot of different age groups and backgrounds. Everyone at some point during the night had a great stretch of tunes that made them feel included in the fun. Would highly recommend Levity, Ryan, and Joe to anyone looking for a dj at their wedding or other event.

We were very pleased with Levity Entertainment as our wedding DJ! From an initial booking meeting, to their planning portal, follow-up meeting with our actual DJ, and then day of services, Everything was easy, organized and stress-free. Ian was exceptional
I cannot say enough good things about Ian from Levity. We had a last minute issue with a previous DJ and hired Ian less than two weeks before our wedding!
He pulled it all together for us logistically. I felt comfort as a bride knowing he was there because he was just that put together and knew what was going on. He went above and beyond in every way. Right before our grand entrance I found out the set up of the reception had put a sweet heart table instead of a head table...Ian literally took care of it within 5 minutes. He even made sure the bridal party had water throughout the night.
AND THEN! as a DJ, Ian was incredible. Mixing songs, ensuring the party was lively - the dance floor was never empty! I loved every moment of our reception, and a lot of that I have Ian to thank.

A piece of advice a pastor once told me about weddings, "Make sure you don't skimp on your photographer and DJ. One captures all the memories with pictures, and one keeps the party going, and makes the night memorable." Ryan Botts at Levity Events made our night the MOST memorable, epic night we ever could have imagined!! He communicated with us throughout the planning process making sure we always knew the next steps. I never had to follow up because he was one step ahead of us. We could tell right away he had lots and lots of experience and gave us sound advice on our wedding timeline and song choices. Everything flowed effortlessly and perfectly. We had SO MUCH positive feedback on our entire evening, mostly because of Ryan. He knows how to read a crowd to keep the party going, as well as keep everything on schedule so all you have to do as a newly married couple is enjoy your family, friends and night together. I don’t even know where to begin with how AMAZING Ryan and the Levity team are. If you’re searching for a DJ for your wedding or an event, stop right now and hire his team. He went above and beyond during the entire planning process to make sure we felt comfortable leading up to the wedding. When it came time for our wedding day, he absolutely KILLED it. His communication with us and our wedding party/family during the day is great and he made sure everything went smoothly. Ian with Levity was the absolute best to work with! He made our wedding and reception run so smooth and was THE BEST to work with! Didn’t have to worry about him, he set everything up, arranged as needed, super easy to communicate with, and basically ran the show so we could enjoy our day. Fantastic and fun wedding dj
Paige KILLED it! The dance floor is always our favorite part of a wedding, so we really wanted to make sure we had a fun dance vibe at ours. I know Paige personally, so I knew she was gonna be fun, but she truly exceeded our expectations. She was super easy to work with during the planning stages, and even met with us in person for our final prep meeting the week of our wedding. She was so organized and professional, and SUPER fun on the mic. She made our outdoor ceremony sound great. And then for our indoor reception, she kept everything moving, leading us all from one thing to the next. She totally captured the vibe we wanted for the cocktail hour. During dinner, she made sure that everyone in the space could hear the speeches–and there was not a dry eye in the place! And then, during the speeches, our friend planned a surprise dance that involved not only the whole bridal party, but also most of the guests…! and Paige kept it totally a secret!!! My wife and I had NO idea! Paige totally made it happen. And then, during the dancing portion, she really followed our ideas and made the dance floor totally bumping. We had friends who quite literally NEVER left the dance floor! There was a two-layer conga line, there was the Wobble, there was an alternative section, there was a whole section of the night of just Queer anthems! We asked her to do some transitions between songs to keep the vibes flowing and Paige did a great job with that too. She made the dance floor so fun for our guests and she did a great job of checking in with us and following our lead. ABSOLUTELY would recommend Paige and Levity Events!

Ian was AMAZING. He made sure to contact us before the wedding to introduce himself, set expectations, and answer/ask any questions. He also made all of our requests happen. We also had our dogs at our reception and he was very receptive to them. They received lots of pets from him while he still made sure all guests were having a great time. Joe from Levity events was our DJ for our wedding on 11/5/2022. We met with Joe the week of our wedding, he was on time for the meeting and was very concise with getting detailed ironed out for our wedding. Levity did a great job of matching us with Joe based off what music we wanted at our reception. Joe was timely in getting to the venue and worked with our venue to get two sound systems set up. The music was spot on the entire night, from pre-ceremony, to ceremony, after the ceremony, reception, and the dance floor. Announcements, introductions, and everything between was perfect. The dance floor was electric and Joe absolutely nailed it. I may be biased but this was for sure the best dance floor EVER at a wedding we’ve been to. Would recommend Joe and Levity as your DJ if you want a party!!!

Great for a big party
Levity was an awesome DJ company to work with. They are very modern and have a lot of ideas/traditions that they like to change to make it custom to each couple. They were very easy to work with and responded to our questions quickly, as well as helped us keep up with planning. Their emails typically include some sort of joke that was much needed during the wedding planning process! They have a very useful database that allows you to pick out songs easily and fill out forms that allows the DJ to communicate effectively with the other vendors.
We had Langston DJ our wedding, and he was AMAZING. We met with him a few days before our wedding and I could tell that he was really passionate about what he does, and he was easy to work with. At the event (and because of the different way Levity does some of their events such as table dismissal and anniversary dance) people were engaged all night and on the dancefloor right up until the end of the night. I highly recommend Levity and Langston.

We're not natural party planners or facilitators, and we were so initially intimidated about how we were going to structure the reception and keep it flowing so our guests weren't bored. From the initial planning session with Levity, they were providing ideas and sample timelines which all took so much of the mental load off of us. Not to mention our DJ from Levity, Brandon, was amazing! Created such a perfect atmosphere. We're still hearing from guests that it was one of the most fun weddings they've ever been to.

Langston with Levity was amazing :) The overall planning process was great with Levity. All Levity staff were really personable, friendly, and helpful from first consultation meeting through wedding day. We've had so many guests tell us how our wedding was one of the most fun they'd ever been to and they were so impressed that the dance floor was so packed all night. That was in big part to Langston and is ability to read the crowd and pick great music. We had a complete blast dancing with him and our guests wedding night. 10/10

We got extremely lucky that we were able to get a DJ so last minute as we weren’t planning o having a DJ to begin with. We pulled the trigger and Brandon was our guy! Once we chatted and kind of went over the flow of everything, I knew we were in good hands! Brandon made the night! The music selection was right up our alley and our guests were having a great time! Joe Morrione was our DJ and he absolutely nailed it. He had a great sense of the flow of the night and kept the dance floor very lively. Even some of our family members who never dance were on the dance floor and having a great time. During the reception several guests told us that they really enjoyed the music. It was clear that Joe really knows what he's doing, and we appreciated how he balanced his knowledge and skills with our preferences and tastes. Joe was warm, laid back, and was easy to work with. Initially we didn't want to include the Cha Cha Slide or similar songs, but Joe helped us understand how those songs can help jump start the dance floor. We agreed and looking back he was absolutely right. My husband likes house music so Joe found a way to seamlessly weave it in - and our guests loved it! His transitions all fit the mood well and were never abrupt or disruptive. We would wholeheartedly recommend Joe and Levity to anyone we know looking for a DJ in Kansas City.

LANGSTON was the BEST DJ we could have imagined. 10/10 stars. He gave us a reception that was everything we could have wanted and more, and our dance floor was lit the entire time. He was super flexible when we ran low on time switched things up- everything ran smoothly though and you would never have known. An added bonus was he helped us along the way with suggestions which was nice. For some reason he is listed as “Middle DJ”??? The disrespect. Should be listed as “Big Baller DJ”!!!!!! In general, Levity Events was also really easy to use, everything was online and explained well. HIGHLY recommend Levity and Langston especially if you’re tired of the same old wedding DJs playing the same old songs for the past 20 years!!

If you are getting married in the Kansas City area you need to hire Levity. They are absolutely incredible. Our DJ, Langston, was the greatest wedding DJ of all time. That is not hyperbole at all. He was professional, had everything ready to go, and was willing to accommodate us to any request we had. He even made sure my wife and I had drinks throughout the night. His music taste and DJ style are amazing. I cannot recommend him and Levity enough!

One of the best vendors of the night!
IAN WAS THE MAN! From start to finish, we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. He was professional but brought life to our party! Our consultation appointment was wonderful as the rep took her time to listen to our wishes. We met Ian a week before the wedding and he asked all the right questions. He showed up ready to set up and start helping the groom with the flow of events. Once the reception started he took charge of the timeline but was extremely flexible when we needed to change something last minute. We had a cover that was not common for our first dance as well as other uncommon songs and levity had no problem finding them for us! Okay… dancing. Ian crushed the playlist! We gave him some direction of what we like and he ran with it! He was personable, receptive to change and a blast to have. We truly felt like he was apart of our party! We couldn’t recommend Levity and Ian more as they were one of our favorite vendors of the day.

Zach was an amazing DJ. From the very beginning he was organized and had a well thought out way to making the reception timeline. He listened to us throughout the entire night and made adjustments as needed. Every song was a hit and kept the party going all night. Best Decision Ever = Hiring Levity Wedding & Events
Whereas the officiant joined two families during the ceremony, DJ Ryan did a masterful job bringing two families together on the dance floor! He set the stage with a grand entrance that would rival any main event in Vegas (the cold sparks left guests saying, “I gotta get me some of those!”). The pre-dinner scavenger hunt gave our guests ample material for dinner conversation, and Ryan had our dance floor packed all night. I can’t tell you how many guests raved to us about his elite-level emcee and mixing work. “He can read a crowd like no other”. Ryan is the Patrick Mahomes of wedding entertainment!
Our guests also loved the photobooth! Zach did a great job managing the photobooth guestbook (1 strip for guests to keep and a 2nd strip into our guestbook!). Our little nephew loved the photobooth so much, he just stayed over by Zach to help (and occasionally photobomb other guests lol!). And Zach was so good with letting our nephew be his little helper!
Not only did they show up and show out for our event, they helped us assemble the A-team of wedding vendors. They helped pair us with the best in the business to make this night memorable.
They also had a shadow, Ian, working with them all night which tells us that Levity Events is building a strong farm system of up-and-coming DJ talent.
As soon as you say “YES” – go see Levity Events! Absolutely worth it!

Derek and the Levity crew were absolutely FANTASTIC! He knew all the right questions to ask and helped us put together our day of timeline which helped reduce a lot of stress for us. We booked levity for the DJ, uplighting and photo booth. The photo booth was a great addition to our wedding day and the photos looked incredible. Derek perfectly encapsulated what we wanted for our wedding which may have been different from his usual weddings which I believe speaks volumes to how talented they are. People raved about how great the DJ was, our dance floor was packed all night. Ever since our wedding, every other wedding we go to feels lackluster because we feel that no one can outdo Levity. We got married 11.6.21 and knew very early on that music was going to be a MAJOR priority for us. After seeing great reviews and also from our wedding planners suggestion we went with Levity and let me tell you, they FAR exceeded our expectations. Specifically our DJ, Jacob Schneider!! He was STELLAR!!! From start to finish he met all of our needs, requests, worked with all our unique ideas including a surprise flash mob, and setup a killer light install for the reception. Above all of that though, he SLAYED it with the music choices he made!!! He could not have read our dance floor vibe any better!! He played ALL the right music, which kept the dance floor full the entire night, he did a great job starting the reception out by hosting a very fun game involving the guests, and he didn’t try to steal the show like some DJs but instead he incorporated himself just the right amount! We seriously can not recommend him enough!! If we ever need a DJ again for an event Levity and Jacob will 1000% be our first call!!

Levity Events and our DJ Paige Lockhart could not have been more perfect for our wedding!! They were incredibly responsive and accommodating of all our requests, and everything went extremely smoothly! And Paige in particular was absolutely wonderful! Her music choices were flawless, her energy and control of the crowd was excellent, and she was both fun and professional! I cannot recommend Levity Events highly enough!

Excellent DJ
I was incredibly happy with the Levity team serving as DJ at our wedding reception. It wasn't just about playing music as it was orchestrating a fun event that ran smoothly. Our DJ Luke met with us to understand our wishes for the reception. He pitched in to help our wedding coordinator at one point and did whatever he could to ensure a lovely celebration for us and our guests. Our guests got out on the dance floor and had an amazing time. I would most definitely recommend Levity and our DJ Luke!

THE BEST DJs for your Wedding!!
We absolutely LOVED Brandon and Gentry! They were AMAZING! I would highly recommend anyone who ever needs a DJ for anything (weddings, reception, birthday party, celebration of any kind, etc). We wanted a very 2000s/EDM playlist for our wedding and reception and Brandon and Gentry delivered! They were phenomenal to work with. So flexible and kind and Gentry will do FANTASTIC on her own when it’s her time!! I literally could not rave enough about how awesome they were and how amazing they made our day super special for us. I can honestly say too, that they are amazing people on their own as well. People that you’d love to be friends with. 100% recommend them all the way!! 💕💕💕

Weston Red Barn Farm Wedding
We loved working with Levity Events for our wedding! From beginning to end they made the process of everything so quick and easy. We had Jacob Schneider as our DJ and absolutely loved him. We received countless compliments on Jacob’s behalf and comments on how awesome he was. Best DJ we could have asked for
Brandon from Levity Events made our dance floor the best part of the wedding. Five hours of non-stop dancing, partying and merriment and his playlist was incredible. Transitions perfect. Hype game on point. Everything was perfect. Definitely use Levity, and definitely get Brandon if you can. His love of music matched our love of music, and all of our guests were signing his praises.

Hire Chris at Levity!
Chris at Levity was a fantastic addition to our wedding day! He met with us a few days before to work out details and go over the flow for the day. He was kind and understanding with our requests and provided many helpful suggestions that made the day! We, and our guests, are still laughing, 3 weeks later, at this very fun game Chris led before dinner to get the party started. In addition to the great day-of facilitation, keeping everyone on schedule and the planning meetings, the Levity office was great to work with. Their system makes payment, song choices, selecting DJ packages so straightforward. I wish all our vendors were as organized and detail oriented as Levity. Thank you again Chris and Levity for helping make our day special!

Oh my gosh, Zach was INCREDIBLE on our wedding day. Levity is the absolute best and Zach delivered beyond our expectations. He was so organized before our event, answered every single question we had, and helped us finalize our timeline. I cannot recommend Zach and Levity highly enough. One to remember!
Ryan Botts with Levity was the absolute BEST making our entire day not only run smoothly, but making it our dream come true! His professionalism and communication eased our nerves throughout the week prior, making things even easier for our other vendors. It's been two days since our big day and we've already received SO many compliments about our DJ and the music he played. I can't imagine a more thorough, thoughtful, DJ company. Paige was incredible. She met with us before our wedding day to ensure every last detail was exactly as we wanted it to be. During the wedding, the dance floor was packed. She knew how to keep everyone moving and having a good time. Ryan Botts with Levity events!
Ryan Botts was an amazing DJ!! He was very involved and helpful in deciding what exactly we wanted for our wedding/our preferences for music. He was also incredibly easy to work with, always able to shift to last minute changes or to give us extra time to finish our final details that we wanted! The day of he was punctual and made sure to keep the night moving smoothly from dinner announcements, toasts, grand exit etc! He read our guests incredibly well and played songs based off of what he thought would keep the party going. And because of that everyone had an amazing time and rarely left the dance floor! 10/10 would recommend him again and again! Thanks Ryan!

So easy to work with!
Zach was so awesome and easy to work with! He not only listened to our ideas for our event but he also suggested ways to make our wedding even more special. He really did a great job at keeping the night going and getting people out on the dance floor! Levity as a whole was also so easy to work with. They were very quick with responding to any questions I might have had. They were also very understanding when we had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID and were available for all the dates we picked. I would highly recommend Levity and Zach for your next event!

Trust them completely! Brandon was able to handle a few last minute changes and kept the dance floor poppin’! He was able to navigate a wide range of guests tastes from my own, my younger cousins, to my 93 year old grandma. Everyone was happy and loved the music!!

Fantastic , We loved it
We really enjoyed the party, Brandon was our DJ we booked Levity 9 days before wedding since our DJ fell through. They were so friendly and understanding that how frustrating moments we had and how stressful would be for us . Our wedding was Persian/American and how ever we had only 9 days till wedding and Brandon assigned to our wedding exact 5 days before wedding he did such a great job. He kept the dance floor busy the guest both american and Persian were so happy they all said he did remarkable and fantastic job specially for Persian side since he never DJ Persian wedding and no body believed that was his first Persian wedding . I highly recommend them even to non american weddings . If you are clear enough you would get the best . Our wedding was short notice to Levity but they did fantastic job.

Simply Amazing
Ryan, Drew and the team at Levity were just the best. They were so easy to work with from the start and what we got for the price we paid was a great value. Ryan helped us decide what we wanted for our wedding and then Drew dropped the hammer and delivered what I can only describe as a masterpiece. He knew exactly what our wedding guests wanted and once the dance floor opened it never emptied. Levity doesn't play the corny songs you hear at most weddings and we absolutely loved it. What Drew did play was a little bit of everything from today's hits, to rock classics, to songs with choreographed dances that got everyone grooving. Prior to the dancing he made the cocktail hour and dinner fun for all with great music, a fun scavenger hunt game and all around professionalism. All that was amazing and then the photobooth was the cherry on top. We had so many compliments from all of our guests about the photobooth that Levity supplied for our wedding. By the end of the night it was constantly full of people taking picture strips, creating gifs and cracking up at burst photo's. We are still laughing about the photo's which Levity provided just a couple days later. All in all I have to rate Drew and the entire Levity team five stars out of five starts because it was exactly what we hoped for. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Incredible DJ keeping everyone engaged!
Jacob Schneider - DJ/Music Ninja was absolutely incredible! My sister told him she didn’t think that many people would be out on the dance floor most of the evening.. and the dance floor was filled with people all night! The playlist was incredible, it wasn’t too much of any one particular genre.. it was what I’d like to call the PERFECT mix! He was hands down the best DJ I’ve seen at any wedding. Kept everyone engaged and kept the party rolling flawlessly.
If you are looking for a DJ, he is your guy. No questions asked you won’t regret it!

Jake is amazing and makes everyone feel amazing and super comfortable in the space they are enjoying. He is just a natural and is an amazing DJ! He always was checking in with the bride when needed and making sure everything was going to her expectations. The BEST Decision - Worry Free!!!!
Brandon was above and beyond! We loved working with him and he genuinely felt like our friend during this experience. He was super easy to communicate with, punctual, and executed our event to perfection! The music was spot on and the dance floor was full all night long!! He also played a role as a mini wedding coordinator by making sure my husband and I had our meal plated for us so that we got to eat too! It was the perfect experience with Brandon. Amazing wedding with DJ Jacob!!
The moment we met with Derek and felt his enthusiasm and passion for what he does I knew we found our DJ company. Upon requesting a quote he was very responsive and set up a time for us to meet at their show room. They had great ideas to help engage the crowd and do away with what I felt were some cringey old traditions. His services were not based by the hour, so there was no pressure adjusting timelines. Fast forward to working with DJ Jacob. Levity has their own staff, not contractors, so you know you are in good hands with their team. We met up a few days prior and went through all his questions and details. Jacob was AMAZING! He immediately got everyone engaged and having a blast with the scavenger hunt. This allowed us a chance to eat and breathe for a few minutes. My family is raving about it! He had a timeline written out and made sure to keep the evening flowing without us having to ask for a single thing. Jacob had a great presence and when people struggled with line dances he came out and showed us how it was done. Such a fun night and I could not be more grateful we had the pleasure of working with him. Needless to say - book them! You will not go wrong!
