Leslie made our wedding cake/groom's cake and she just went above and beyond. Both of the cakes were not only beautifully crafted, but they tasted absolutely amazing!!! Easily the best cake we've ever had. I highly highly recommend!

The best wedding cake EVER

Lesley's Creative Cakes did out wedding cake and it was such a hit! They are so easy to work with, so professional, and the cake was absolutely delicious. Their free tastings every month helped us narrow down flavors while trying new options. We will definitely be using them in the future.

Amazing cake!

I ordered my cake and cupcakes from lesley and they were absolutely delicious! The snickerdoodle cake was my favorite. I wanted specific succulent/flower toppers on the cupcakes that matched my wedding colors and they came out perfect! I would recommend this vendor to anyone! I definitely plan on getting all my future cakes from here :)

Wonderful gluten free wedding cake!

I ordered a gluten free carrot cake with buttercream frosting for my wedding and it was so delicious! The cake was so beautiful, I didn’t want to eat it .. but glad I did because it tasted so good! Couldn’t tell it was a gluten free cake!

Exactly as I had imagined

Lesley's was one of two Cake/Dessert Vendors that were included with my venue package - I went with Lesley's! At the open house her cakes were delicious and she had many dessert options! For our wedding we went with a two tier cake and the simple "naked cake" design was just as I always imagined. We also had multiple desserts which included: Mini Brownies, Margarita Lime Mini Cupcakes, Red Velvet Mini Cupcakes and lemon bars - all of which were delicious. My favorite was the margarita lime cupcakes! Would highly recommend Lesleys Creative Cakes for your wedding cake and desserts.

Beautiful wedding cake

We loved working with Lesley. She did an amazing job creating our perfect cake and we had so many choices. The flavors were delicious and so many options for the design and frosting too. She even made us an Philadelphia Eagles cake to enjoy the next day (our favorite team of course). We would highly recommend her bakery.

Lesley's creative Cakes made my wedding cake and I was extremely happy with the outcome of my cake. The cake arrived on time, was beautiful, and it tasted delicious. My guests really enjoyed the different flavors that I chose for each tier. The flavors I chose were Snickerdoodle with custard, Chocolate with Salted Caramel, Margarita Lime with Custard, and Vanilla with Custard and Strawberries. I highly recommend Lesley. Not only is she professional, but she is easy to get ahold of and responds quickly, and she is also very friendly.

We hired Lesley’s Creative Cakes for our large wedding and are so glad we did! She allowed us to do a variety of desserts to give our guests a great sample of everything they offer! Our wedding cake was to die for from the couple of bites we got lol! Still to this day our guest rave about our dessert table!

The cake for our daughters wedding was wonderful. Our guest are still letting us know how good the cake was and where did we get it from. We were so happy on how it looked and the back side was done up for the groom and his football team which he was surprised. Thank you for a great tasting cake

CAKE- So happy we chose Lesley’s. The cake tastings are a blast. They have so many flavors and varieties to choose from but it really doesn’t matter because everything is delicious. Ordering our wedding cake was fun and simple she was able to answer all our questions and concerns. We had a hard time saving the top piece for our anniversary because we couldn’t stop eating the left overs!
FLOWERS- I adore Christine! Honestly sitting with her and planning out my wedding flowers was one of the most fun wedding tasks I endured. She really loves what she does and it shows in her work. I know she had to have put a tone of effort into my order and she personally delivered them on my wedding day. She totally listened to what I was envisioning and made it come to life. Thank you soo much Christine!!!

Lesley's was so great! She did a small cake for my husband and I to cut and a whole bunch of mini cupcakes. They were all to die for! So tasty! We attended a few of her convenient tastings beforehand to pick flavors. They worked in our budget and everything was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Lesley's cakes were beautiful & delicious. She created the perfect cakes for our daughter's New Year's Eve wedding. The bride's cake was exactly what she wanted and tasted great. Lesley outdid herself for the groom's cake! It was spectacular! I wholeheartedly recommend her services.

We chose to go with Lesley's Cakes for our wedding at the Windmill Winery on 1/13/17. We attended a bridal open house and were able to try all of her delicious cakes and other goodies. We were sold! Day of, the cake looked beautiful, exactly how we had described it to her when we had met six months prior! Our guests commented on how wonderful the cake was and it was amazing to be able to choose three different flavors for a three-tiered cake! Definitely recommend!

Lesley did such an amazing job creating the perfect wedding dessert table! I wanted a little something different from the normal wedding cake and she helped me come up with the perfect creation. Not only did I get my dessert table filled with delicious choices- I also got a 6" love cake for my self and my hubby to cut into! Lesley's calm go with the flow personality made it such a pleasure to work with. I can't say enough great things about her and her company! I HIGHLY recommend Lesley's to anyone looking for a special one of a kind dream cake or dessert table!

Lesley's cakes are first of all, DELICIOUS, second of all beautiful. My mom met Lesley at a venue open house and she was wowed by her cupcakes. We live in NC and planned our AZ wedding from there. I relied on my mom's communication with Lesley, and my mom's cake review. We honestly, did not even bother sampling cakes from anywhere else. We ordered a small 2 tier cake with about 330 mini cupcakes (3 flavors) for our reception. It was exactly as we hoped it would be. I met Lesley about 4 days before the ceremony, and went over our final details. She was great to work with and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for amazing cakes/cupcakes/cookies etc. We had so many leftover cupcakes which were even better the next day. We cut up and froze the rest of the wedding cake and took it back with us to NC. It thaws nicely, and is still delicious. :)

Lesley's Creative Cakes was a vendor that came with a package at our wedding venue. Initially we thought we would look around but after meeting Lesley and sitting down with her face to face, the decision to go with her and her company was an easy one! Lesley made the process of selecting our cake easy (especially since we had an 18 month old running around her shop). She was incredibly accommodating! She was very detailed and thought about things I never would have even considered. I had a special request to have funfetti for our bottom layer of cake and she was more than happy to make that happen AND to keep it a surprise for my hubby on our wedding day! The cake turned out EXACTLY as we pictured it. Not to mention it was delicious!!! We would recommend Lesley's Creative Cake's to anyone in search of a great cake artist and professional.

Lesley did an amazing job with our wedding cake. Great customer service as well. I'm not very creative and had absolutely no idea what to do for a wedding cake. Lesley was great and was so helpful in designing my cake. She even called a couple weeks before our anniversary to ask if we wanted to replicate our top tier for our anniversary. We will always use Lesley's creative cakes in the future!

We were very pleased with Lesley's services. We were lucky enough to win our cake from her in a drawing and I'm so glad we did! Even though she was making our cake for free, she spent a lot of time planning with us and making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Lots and lots of different flavor options, she uses butter cream instead of fondant, and is willing to try just about anything as far as design. It arrived on time, was beautiful, and everyone enjoyed it so much we hardly had any leftovers! I highly recommend her services.

Lesley is amazing. Her cakes are super moist and so yummy. Our wedding cake was so beautiful and I had her make a surprise cake for my new husband. He is an electric bass player and I had her make a replica of his favorite bass. It was perfect and he was so excited about it. Lesley is a pleasure to work with and truly knows her business. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding cake or anyone other special occasion cake. You will be really happy with the results.

We actually found out about Lesley through a family friend and went to one of her open houses to meet her. Her cakes are so delicious and you have so many options to choose from. We got a small cake for the groom and I which was vanilla cake with coconut along with 300 cupcakes that were vanilla, chocolate, and snickerdoodle. Our cake was even amazing 3 days later :) You also have the option of coming in a year later and having them make you a new cake so you can still keep the tradition without storing the cake in your freezer for a year which is pretty awesome. Thank you so much for making out day perfect!

Lesley baked the cake for my husband and I for our wedding at the Windmill Winery. She was helpful in offering variety in the layers, to accommodate our tastes as well as dietary restrictions of some of our guests. Specifically, she was able to make the top tier of our cake gluten free lemon cake, which was amazing, and several of our friends who were gluten free noted that this was some of the best gluten free cake they'd had. A year later, Lesley offered to make a replica of our top tier for our first anniversary. She was punctual and accommodating to the availability of my schedule to pick up the cake. I would definitely use her again for birthdays or special occasions as the cake is moist and delicious, and not too overpowering with super sugary frosting.

The cake we received from Lesley was beautiful and delicious! My husband and I had a three tier cake with spun-out frosting. The layers were all very popular - Almond with canoli filling, Chocolate with strawberry and cream cheese filling, and snicker doodle with cream cheese filling. Every slice was eaten! We also left some flowers at the table which Lesley used to adorn the cake when she arrived, and her arrangement looked great! She is friendly and great to work with, and add-on's which weren't included in the package I had from my venue were very affordably priced!

We absolutely loved our cake from Lesley's Creative Cakes! She created exactly the cake I was picturing in my head! We brought in our own stand, topper and flowers we wanted, placed them on the cake table and she put it all together and staged everything just perfectly! And not to mention how delicious it was! we had two different flavors and I just had to steal a piece of each. We got several complements from our guests about how good it was!

We had a good experience using Lesley's Creative Cakes. The cake was DELICIOUS! We got so many compliments! Unfortunately, there weren't enough leftovers for us to have more. I cannot express how incredibly amazing Lesley's cakes are! From our cake testing to the day of our wedding, the flavors were consistent and DELICIOUS! Lesley was extremely responsive, flexible, and put me at ease when I realized two days before the wedding how heavy our cake topper was. The cake itself was absolutely beautiful. Each layer was moist, rich, and exactly what we had imagined. And the BUTTERCREAM FROSTING... OH MY! Let's just say each of our guests had an average of three pieces of cake to try all of the flavors, and at least a dozen have said "this is the best wedding cake I've ever had!" We can't wait to have Lesley make our one year anniversary cake next year! Thank you, Lesley, for everything!

My cake was amazing. Lesley was great, she even gave me ideas on how to save money! There are not many folks in the wedding industry that want to save you money. The cake was beautiful and DELICIOUS! The cake was moist, the flavors were fantastic and the buttercream was to die for. Not too sugary, but just right. Everyone at my wedding made several remarks on how good the cake was. I totally recommend Lesley!

We used them for our cake on our big day! I had so much to do that I was unable to meet up with her to discuss exactly what I wanted. But a few phone calls and emails with pictures of cake she had exactly what I wanted. Not only did it look exactly how I wanted it but it tasted pretty darn good too! It was so good that we even had the leftover cake the next day! They were so easy to work with and they got exactly what I wanted. They are so amazing!

My husband and I were looking for an alternative to traditional wedding cake. Since our wedding was in the fall, we decided pies would be a great alternative. When we approached Lesley about having pies instead of cake, she was on board and had ideas ready from the get go. She did a phenomenal job with our pies. They looked amazing and tasted like heaven! The guests really liked the idea of pie vs cake, and I am still getting compliments on how wonderful they tasted. Lesley was a breeze to work with and I would absolutely recommend her again for any event.

Our wedding cake was beautiful! I found a picture online and fell in love. Our cake looked simple but was very detailed and Leslie made it perfectly. We had four tiers each with a different flavor. There wasn't even a bite leftover...it was loved by everyone and people went back for seconds! I contacted Leslie to recreate one layer for our anniversary and she remembered us. So awesome to feel like family.

Lesley made our cake for our wedding and it was absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious! We were able to attend her open houses to pick what flavor cake we wanted and then we met with her a month or so before the wedding to design our cake. She made this so painless it was a wonderful experience plus her prices are very reasonable.... she wrote down exactly what we wanted, and it looked even better than we pictured it! We had no worries at all about the cake she took our flowers and our cake topper and delivered it all to the venue. Thank you Lesley for all your hard work... She was awesome! Our cake situation was a mess before her. We had someone who had not contacted me in the entire year and a half of planning until the week prior the wedding. We went to Lesley with one week till the wedding and she sat down with us and got to work. She is a wonderful person and I would recommend her to ANYONE! She is realistic and down to earth. She is very affordable and on the day of the wedding she even played with some of the kids so we could set up! She went above and beyond and did it with a smile. I wish we would have found her in the beginning.

With cake it's all about the taste, and let me just say MmMmMMmm! :) Great cake, and such obvious craftsmanship with the decoration - it was awesome. Lesley obviously delivered what she promised and I cannot say how excited I am to find such a wonderful baker that I can use for all of my needs. Her selection of flavors may not be as broad as some bakeries, but here it's all about the quality. Lesley is also very patient, I met with her twice to go over my cake design and she is so helpful and creative (ha - get it? Lesley's Creative cakes?!). Thanks Lesley - we have some cake leftover and it's still just as good!!

My cake was exactly what I'd asked for and was absolutely delicious! Lesley took my ideas, made some suggestions and together we created a beautiful cake. My guests commented on it's beauty and taste. I wanted it decorated simply but elegantly. I gave her the fresh flowers, a simple double heart stick, butterflies and ribbon. She brought it all together and my cake was BEAUTIFUL. I look at the pictures and I'm in awe of how lovely it was... also makes me wish I had a piece of it now! It was really yummy. Lesley helped me find affordable solutions for our wedding. We had about 150 guest and Lesley suggested a venue that was AMAZING, provided linens and catering, and a chocolate fountain. My husband did NOT want a wedding cake, he hates cake, so chocolate fountain it was! Her pricing was much less than many others in the industry, and the food was excellent. I am so pleased with the way everything turned out and would definately consider using Lesley for other events.

ok. so I had three daughters get married. the first on was March 19th,(300 guests) 2011. Lesley did the cake for that wedding, provided equipment and her mom Kathy did the flowers. While two weddings should have been extremely stressful, lesley and kathy were the main reasonsi did not lose my sanity! Besides the cake beoing visually beautiful, it tasted amazing! I was THRILLED to see left over cake after the wedding! The flowers were perfect! We had a huge bridal party, 18 girls! All the bouquets were perfect and so was the family corsages and bouttanierres!

Next was our daughter who got married in Georgia. We skyped it with all our family since it was a military wedding on the base. Lesley and her mom were just so supportive and kind...couldnt provide much services for this one but will when we have a wedding for them...I would have NO ONE ELSE help! these women are kind and so supportive!

Next, was our daughters wedding on April 16th (200 guests). The grooms grandmother made the cake, but once again, Kathy did the flowers, loved them! and lesley provided linens and decor. I can not thank these women enough for all they have done for our family!

Lesley made the cake for my brother's wedding. The cake turned out beautiful! It also smelled wonderful! Cake is one of my favorite things to eat and this is the best cake I have ever eaten!!! I wish I would have met Lesley sooner, I wish she could have done my wedding cake a few years ago! Most wedding cakes I have eaten look nice but taste horrible. Lesley's was by far the best! Lesley did an AWESOME job on our wedding cake. I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted for my cake and I wanted to be surprised, so I let her be creative in creating our wedding cake. She did an amazing job. It was beautiful and the cake tasted great! All of our guests commented on how nice the cake was and how good it tasted. My wife and I were married on Jan 31st 2010. We decided to use lesley for the majority of wedding needs, which put allot of faith in her services. Of course this put me in the hot seat with the wife since it was my call to do it..lol. I foud Lesley to be the most personable and professional vendor we used. Her catering costs were undermarket for similer vendors and over the quality I would have expected. Both my wife and I were extreamly happy along with our guests with the quality of food and the presentation. We opted for the brides choise cake and it was both beautiful and yummy!! Even though our photos ran late the food was neither dry or bland. I highly recommend Lesley for any of your even need. In addition to the cake and catering we also used her mother for our flower, a service that was offered in our first meeting. The flowers were both fresh and beautiful and also priced below market. I would also recommend her for your floral need. I only sorry that there wasn't more then 5 stars to give them!!!

I had had a problem with another cake vendor and had to cancel my contract last minute. Leslie was able to meet with me last minute and take the other ideas and make it into something just as beautiful and way less expensive. She was very friendly and took some time to get to know me and what I really wanted. On the day of she delivered right on time and everything was exactly how I wanted it! I even had a few extra things I wanted added on. Leslie is great and the cake tasted great as well. I got a cake for 130 ppl for 350$ wow! a similar cake at another vendor was going to cost me nearly 500$ I am so happy with Leslie!!!!

Lesley was the most patient vendor I worked with and her mom Kathy was too!! They knew I was very stressed out and were always available by txt or email to anwer my questions (almost all last-minute). The food was absolutely delicious; one of my guests still wants the recipe for the chicken. The cake was beautiful and the best I have ever tasted!! My husband is a cake lover and was not gonna settle; he loved it. Kathy did all of the flowers and the price was wonderful. We ordered a 6" cake and about 80 cupcakes with the rose flower frosting design from Lesley and our flowers (baby's breath for the center and aisle pieces and three bouquets of white tiger lilies) from Christine for our wedding this past May, and we couldn't have been any happier with how things turned out! The cake/cupcakes tasted amazing and everything looked absolutely beautiful. Both ladies were easy to communicate with, the rates for were quite reasonable and everything was above and beyond our expectations. Thank you both for helping make our day so memorable!

Lesley and Kathy are quite a team. My husband and I are living in Vancouver, BC and thus, had to plan our wedding from 1500 miles away. We met with Lesley on a week-long visit to Phoenix in June, 2013. Up until then I wasn’t sure what to expect as we had briefly emailed back and forth only a week prior (and her emails can come off as slightly unprofessional). We left our meeting with Lesley reassured and very confident that our cake would be incredible—and it was! Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted amazing!! It was four tiers and Lesley told us each tier could be a different flavor—WHAT?! I highly recommend the lemon cake with blueberry filling. Our cake consultation was quick and easy and right after Lesley had us meet with her mother, Kathy. Kathy took care of all our bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres. They were all delivered with our cake promptly at 3:00pm on our wedding day and they all looked amazing. Not only that, but I really felt like Kathy and Lesley were very honest with us about everything. Since our wedding was at the end of August, the hottest month normally in AZ, Kathy deterred us from flowers she knew wouldn’t stand the heat and our bouquets lasted a week!

Lesley's cakes are so good. Our cake was included in our wedding package from Villa Tuscana. We could choose between two cake bakers, and after tasting Lesley's lemon cake we were sold. Her cakes were far more flavorful and moist than the other option. The cake turned out great and I wish that I would have eaten more than one piece. My small complaint about our cake was that we wanted it to be a champagne/gold color, and it turned out looking more yellow. I'm not sure whether it was the frosting or the lighting of the room that made it look that way. It still tasted great, and I can't wait to order a cake from Lesley for our first anniversary.

Overall, Lesley did a great job. The cake looked exactly like the picture I gave her and I got numerous compliments about how fantastic it tasted. We chose coconut, white w/ rasberry filling, and strawberry. I did have a minor issue with the design of the cake. It was very important to me to not have a cake with any fondant on it, therefore I asked Lesley about butter cream frosting before I booked with her. I was told she did the smoothest, best in the valley, however when I picked designs for my cake she told me they couldn't be done in butter cream, only fondant. I eventually went with a ribbon cake because I got too frustrated trying to figure out what design could be done in butter cream. All in all my cake was fantastic and I loved it, just a little frustrating if you have a preference on frosting.

Cake: 8/10 We used Lesley’s cakes. She was the only vendor option for cakes at the Windmill Winery. There was another vendor there that offered a dessert table with lots of yummy desserts but not a wedding cake. I had dreamed of having a beautiful wedding cake on my wedding day and didn’t want to give that up. So the Cake itself, very good! My favorite was the Almond Cake with Cannoli filling. Also she was able to copy a design I saw on Pinterest exactly like the picture! I was disappointed to find out that we wouldn’t have the traditional cake tasting like you see in movies and tv. I hoped that my fiancé and I could go into the shop with Lesley 1:1 and sample all the cake flavors. This is not how she does it. She does an open house monthly at her shop in Gilbert and also at the Windmill Winery. You have to go to this open house and sample what they have that day. Usually they have 3 or 4 cake flavors to try. But you are at this open house with several other people. The only other thing I wish she could do differently was send pictures of the cake when she was done just to make sure it was what I wanted. But instead you just have to trust she is going to do what you have shown her with pictures and see it the day of your wedding. This caused me some anxiety. I also wish she would get someone else to handle all her correspondence. I felt like I was bothering her anytime I emailed her.

Reading all of these reviews, I am confused by how this is the same company! I should have known in the first meeting when she was talking negatively about past customers that there would be trouble. Meeting with her was a inconvenient as she could never pick a time or place and then would bail out the day of. Her email responses came days later and were written in short incomplete sentences that would only address a few questions. She was unorganized as far as payment and prices were concerned. Lastly, my cake was a huge disappointment. The flavors were there but it looked like a sad version of the picture I had originally showed her. I wish I could say nice things, but I can't.

The worst experience I’ve had with any business ever.

I’m not one to post negative reviews, but I was very disappointed with Lesley’s Creative Cake’s services the past few days. I initially had asked for 2 dozen cupcakes for a Bachelorette party in 2 weeks. My order wasn’t even set in stone and written up for me to verify and she asked me for a $50.00 deposit, in which I didn’t realize was NON-REFUNDABLE. I was at work during the time I received the email regarding the deposit and all I saw was that she was needing a $50.00 deposit… I didn’t see the non-refundable print below since I was busy and not fully paying attention. Unfortunately the event had to be cancelled, which again is in 2 WEEKS with the order not being fully verified, and she refused to give me my deposit back. She claims that she has this “non-refundable” policy in place since customers haven’t picked up their orders in the past, which is too bad, but not my issue nor my fault. I was very much interested in her services and her baked goods looked amazing and I was really looking forward to being a customer in the future, but since she’s not giving me my money back I will no longer be interested in her services EVER AGAIN. I think it’s very rude and unprofessional the way things were handled and I wish things would’ve been handled differently. Life happens and things don’t always go as planned and she should understand this. $50.00 is a decent amount of money and it’s terrible that I’m out $50.00 because of cupcakes. I hope that my money is used towards something useful at the very least… :-) We all work very hard for our money and I’m so frustrated with this entire situation… have a little bit of compassion. It seems this small business owner only cares about money and nothing else. I’m sorry to post such a negative review, but I felt like this needed to be voiced so people know that the deposits are 100% non-refundable, even if there’s an unexpected circumstance. If you’re purchasing something from a business and they ask for a deposit right away without your purchase being written up and fully verified, then you shouldn’t be purchasing anything from them to begin with. I guess I didn’t catch onto the fact that she’s slightly selfish and lacks compassion. It was a red flag right away when money was requested for an order that wasn’t 100% verified.

just awful. was the contracted bakery through our venue, tried to set up a tasting, which they dont do. Have to come to an open house. okay, weird but alright. Tried multiple times to find out if they would have samples that would accommodate my wife's gluten allergy, said they would but then didnt (was super rude about it when we asked in person too). I figured I would try the options they had, figured we could get something from a different place that my wife could eat and then just serve Lesleys stuff to everyone else. Had maybe 2 options out of the 6(?) samples that might be considered standard for a wedding cake (lemon on lemon and funfetti with cookies and cream). The others included carrot cake, salted caramel brownie, and something with coconut. Poor selection, the only one I picked was the funfetti, which was severely underbaked. the person (who i assume was lesley) who was helping explained that the gluten free "is basically the same as the regular" and refused to even acknowledge that we had tried to ask for more options. was the worst vendor we talked to, by far. left the "tasting" pissed off at the experience. got the venue to cancel our contract with her, got a credit, and went with a different bakery that was amazing, who went way above and beyond. Lesley seemed like she could care less about her customers, she was just trying to sell as many as possible, customer experience irrelevant. 0/10 would not recommend

I chose Lesley's because they were a preferred vendor through Villa Tuscana, which was an amazing venue. The cake tastings are strange cause they only have them once a month and with only 3-4 flavors you can try. So you kinda have to guess which ones you will like unless you start a year in advance so you can taste everything. I was very confident in the bakery until the day of. The cake did not look good! The writing was incredibly sloppy and and "gold" was a mustard yellow. I didn't make a fuss then because what could we do? But I waited until I got the pictures back from the photographer. Definitely not what we wanted or agreed on, but it did taste ok, though I feel some flavors were off. I have included a picture. In the left is what I showed her and the right is our cake. For the $400 price, I would have been happier going to Safeway.
