  Incredible Experience from Start to Finish

  Leslee and her team were more than my husband and I could have asked for in a wedding photographer. We knew we wanted someone who was adept with film and viewed photography as a fine art and calling rather than just a DSLR hobby. Leslee understands light and framing well and did my bridal portrait and wedding photos with ease. Leslee is witty, kind, and puts brides andguests alike at ease when she shoots. Her portfolio speaks for itself - Vogue, Martha Stewart, Style Me Pretty etc.
  
  We would not hesitate to use Leslee again and look forward to recommending her to our friends who marry in the future.

  Leslie is amazing. One bad review is fake.

  Leslie Mitchell is an Amazing photographer. I cannot say that enough as a groom. So amazing that I am writing this to defend her as I see reviews made by a bride and her family who are review bombing her. This bride got too drunk, forgot her groom's name at the altar in front of half the town, threw a monumental tantrum after and even had to retake her pictures a year later because of the state she was in. This family demanded unedited pictures and post and harass Leslie to this day.
  
  If you are considering Leslie: do it. She takes the utmost pride in her work and pours over her images with the utmost care and attention to detail. The time she puts in is evident and her images are breathtaking. She became a great friend after shooting my wedding and my wife and I still keep up with her.

  I randomly discovered the super talented Leslee Mitchell on Instagram. After looking through all of her photos and a phone conversation with Leslee I knew we wouldn't regret hiring her for our Connecticut wedding. Leslee came to Connecticut a few days before the wedding to scope out all the sights and get a feel for our venue. She was awesome to work with and made being in front of the camera all day feel surprisingly comfortable. We have only seen a sneak peak of our pictures since our wedding was just a month ago but they are beautiful! We can't wait to see what else Leslee has in store for us! If you are looking for an unreal talent to photograph you're wedding you can't go wrong with Leslee Mitchell. Book her!

  Leslee is extremely talented in her work. Her focus is completely on creating the perfect backdrop for your photos and she wastes no time capturing the perfect moment for each photo and moves on to the next. She also went out of her way to help with extra nuances that came up during my wedding day such as ironing the grooms shirt, fixing the bustle on my dress when it came undone several times during the reception, grabbing us (the bride and groom) drinks when we were empty handed, and running around to move eye sores for photos. She is extremely gifted in her profession! Highly recommend!

  Wedding Photography was one of my absolutely highest priorities for my wedding and once I found Leslee I trusted her immediately. She is truly talented and the images I have seen so far are to die for.

  I do not recommend Leslee Mitchell.

  We hired Leslee Mitchell for my June 2019 wedding. I would NEVER recommend her services to ANYONE. In fact, we just had our photos retaken by a different photographer a year after our wedding.
  
  For reference, we paid, in total, $8,774.30 for her to photograph my wedding: $7,036 for her services, $850 for her second shooter, $888.30 for their hotel rooms.
  
  To say the product Leslee gave us was a disgrace would be a gross understatement (see attached photos). Photos are blurry, poorly edited, and out of frame - ceiling shots, cut-off heads, photoshopped images, and unrecognizable people. Not to mention, she missed several key moments during the day, example: my mother in law walking my husband down the aisle. In addition, her behavior was absolutely inappropriate, unprofessional, rude, and shocking. Here is an example from one of my bridesmaids: "In the group wedding party photo she counted and took the photo on “2” when nobody was ready and then rolled her eyes and said “next”. Pretty sure everyone’s eyes were closed and people were still moving. That is a specific memory I remember that made me pull aside the wedding planners and ask what was wrong with the photographer."
  
  What really broke my heart was the way she treated me, my family, my husband, my husband's family, and our wedding party after we voiced concerns about picture quality (I've included excerpts from the email she sent us when we raised concerns - the email is 25 screenshots long, and Wedding Wire only allows 20 photos to be uploaded, so I could not upload the whole email). We went back and forth with her and her assistant for WEEKS trying to partner with her on a resolution. Her response was condescending, threatening, and left me speechless - until now.
  
  After all of the BS she put us through, she refunded us a measly $120 of the $8,774.30 we spent on her. Working with her was an absolute nightmare. Please save yourself the heartache and DO NOT HIRE HER.
