We had the absolute best experience working with Lerris Marius Photography for our wedding, and I truly can’t say enough good things about him!
From the very beginning, his communication was incredible. He was always quick to respond, answered every question we had, and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. We were planning everything from a different country, and he made communication feel completely seamless despite the distance. That alone gave us so much peace of mind leading up to the wedding!
On top of that, his pricing was extremely reasonable—especially considering the level of talent and professionalism he brings. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and the work he produces.
And speaking of his work… we are still blown away. The photos are stunning, natural, and captured every moment perfectly. We constantly receive compliments from friends and family about how beautiful our photos are and how well he captured the energy of the day.

I am so happy that we decided to book a session with Lerris to capture the memories of our trip to St. Lucia for our first anniversary. His communication was professional and prompt, and was very helpful in providing options and suggestions for locations and timing. His warmth and friendliness allowed us to feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. He guided us through different poses and shots that were creative and dynamic, and showed us previews on his camera so we could get an idea of what we were working with and adjust anything if needed. From the start, our photographer Lerris shown himself to be professional and got right down to business. Punctuality is key and he did not disappoint!
He assisted through the poses and gave guidance for effective shots that we can still marvel and be impressed with to this day!
The shots were professional, comparable to any of the most spoken of on island and his rates are quite competitive.
Even better, we got our complete shots in under a week!
For us, the Sylvestres, there was no better choice!!

I came across Lerris instagram page when I was searching for a photographer for our wedding in 2024. I wanted to find someone who was not (popular) at that time Lerris was building his portfolio. Wanted a very talented person and love what they do. I found that in Lerris and more . The very first time I spoke to Lerris he was calm very polite and professional. He was open to my ideas about my pre wedding photo shoot which I went for a Nigeria attire (Asoebi). He was like I love this am so excited to shoot this look I never done this before. And we seal the deal from there, on the day of the shoot a week before my wedding Lerris came on time dress professional and had a pleasant smile. He was very patient and he knew exactly what pose we needed and the shoot came out beautifully. On the day of our wedding Lerris out did himself . It’s over a year and people who see our wedding pictures are fascinated by them. Lerris is so so talented 👏 he really loves what he do , he also like to think outside the box and come up with ideas for shoot that will blow your mind. Wesllyne Sent on 04/20/2026Great videography, but very disappointing photography coverage that did not meet expectations.
I hired Lerris Marius for my wedding and unfortunately did not receive the level of photography I expected for such an important day.
While communication was present, there was no real structure or planning. On the day we met, there was no conversation about my vision, no discussion of a shot list, and no clarity on how the shoot would be directed. On the wedding day itself, there wasn’t any direction given. He followed us around like paparazzi instead of a paid photographer. 90 percent of my shots are candid shots!
Because of this, many essential wedding moments were not captured. I do not have family portraits, beach photos, or meaningful couple portraits that most couples expect from their wedding day. The overall gallery feels incomplete, with limited usable images that truly reflect the day.
Several photos also reflect poor angles and basic composition issues. In one image, my head is cut off, and when I asked about it, I was told the focus was on a bottle in the frame. Lighting was also inconsistent, with no flash used and reliance on videographer lighting, which impacted overall image quality.
What is especially disappointing is that the final work does not reflect the quality or style shown in his portfolio online, which was a major factor in my decision to book. I’m not understanding how he has all these 5 star reviews.
Because I did not receive proper couple portraits, I now have to hire another photographer after my wedding to capture images I expected to already have.
I also paid him his fees and a $1,700 outside vendor fee to the resort to work with him. So, in total that’s approximately little over $2850 spent for subpar photography service.
When I raised my concerns, he acknowledged the issues and apologized for the quality of the work. He also asked what amount of refund I felt would be appropriate. I provided a reasonable amount, however my refund request was ultimately denied.
I would strongly recommend future clients ensure there is a very clear shot list, structure, and expectation-setting process before booking, and carefully consider other options for wedding photography based on my experience.Lerris Marius Photography's reply:
