LDS is extremely professional, friendly, and flexible. Cat helped my wife to plan the wedding down to the smallest detail and everything came out awesome. Cat had 2 events that day and left her crew in charge to take care of the other event. They were great! They got us where we needed to be and took care of any behind the scenes issues/coordination (if there were any problems, we didn't know). It seems that most people have had a positive experience with LDS and we highly recommend LDS to all of our newly engaged friends. And of course to those of you looking for an organized, outgoing, and amazing wedding planning staff - you should pick Lemon Drop Socials!!!

It was SO great having Cat to call on - from having her pick things up, drop things off, help with scheduling, contact vendors, deal with mishaps, Cat was there whenever we needed her. She was always calm, cool, and collected - never made me feel anxious or worried, was always on my side when it came to dealing with vendors, and truly knew exactly what she was doing. Our wedding was pretty much perfect, and I really do not think it would have been that way without her and her assistants. Plus, she contributed significantly to my peace of mind for the entire month before the wedding. I would recommend Lemon Drop Socials without hesitation!

Unlike most brides, I have not been planning my wedding for years :). When I first spoke to Catherine from Lemon Drop Socials about what I liked and didn't like from other weddings and overall theme ideas, she was able to take what we talked about and turned it into the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to! My theme followed a somewhat "Ever After" idea - daisies, woodsy fairytale theme.

Catherine was also so amazing in that she was always available and willing to help! Her crew (Betty and Becky) helped make the day perfect! Catherine made sure we got great deals on vendors and helped cut down the work I had to do in finding a reception site. They also made sure that any of the small issues were taken care of without either my husband or myself having to deal with any problems.

Both my husband and I had such an awesome time working with Lemon Drop Socials and are so grateful for all of the hard work that they put into our wedding to make it classy and spectacular! Thank you Catherine, Betty, and Becky! We loved every minute!

You'd be a fool to NOT work with Lemon Drop Socials for any of your party planning needs! Cat is amazing to work with! While she mainly worked with me on flowers, she was so knowledgeable about everything wedding related and went out of her way to make sure I had covered all of my bases.

And her flower arrangements were AMAZING! I seriosuly think friends, family and even the photographer took more pics of the flowers than of the happy couple! Cat met all of my needs, even though some of my ideas were a little unique and funky. She was easy to wo work with, creative and the price was right! You won't be disappointed with Cat - she was born to do party planning!

I highly recommend Cat Pham of Lemon Drop Socials! AAAAAA++++++!!!
Cat was introduced to me by my MOH about 9 months before our wedding. At the time, I was looking for a DOC but quickly realized Cat would be extremely valuable to the wedding planning process. I was what most people would consider the �apathetic bride,� i.e. I had a budget and a vision and we needed to stick to it but I didn�t want to know if we were using cream versus white roses. Cat designed the chic, clean cut green and gray wedding I dreamed off and all the small details to boot. The first thing she did at our consult was lay out a game plan of what I did NOT want.

We asked her to be involved in the full scale process, from helping us choose our photographer to designing our menu cards. Everything she touched turned out beautifully. She is hard-working, detail oriented and very passionate. I really appreciated how she reached out to our families and vendors early on. Many of our guests (including my very picky mom) kept singing her praises! I didn't know she remembered that I requested that all napkins be folded squares and that I wanted crystals on our altar arrangements; she made sure these happened! The icing on the cake was that at the end of the night not only did she make arrangements to transfer our money box, gifts, decorate our hotel room but also gifted us with a box of Sprinkles cupcakes (my husband�s favorite).

Citrine Package & Floral Services: $1380 (

First of all, I must start out saying that I asked Cat Pham owner of Lemon Drop Socials to coordinate my wedding because we were FRIENDS! After all was said and done, of course we are no longer friends because “friends” do not take advantage of those that they care about!!!! So here is a tiny bit of why I am so fully disappointed in “Lemon Drop Socials” (FYI – Cat Pham is NOT certified/not associated with ACPWC (The Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants)). Please take into consideration her lack of any formal training.

I was devastated on my big day when I received the worst two substitute "day of wedding coordinators" I could have ever imagined. I can and have filled pages with example after example of how awful the entire coordination service was (and could include photographs and video as well! I have video of a "coordinator" asking, "What am I supposed to do with the flowers and where should I go?" etc etc). The two major points of horror from my wedding day that stand out the most were the "wedding coordinators" clear lack of experience on the day, droopy/floppy wilted flowers that were different that what I had asked for, and coming back to a hotel room that was not decorated as Lemon Drop Socials advertises and contracts as their "romantic signature" for your first night as husband and wife. (FYI - Cat Pham did not know what a Gardenia was and I had to fill her in - if you choose anything other than cymbidium orchids, plan on the flowers being wilted). I have tried to contact Cat Pham several times requesting a refund for services not rendered as promised and have not received any response in return for my request. No apology, no communication. At this point in time I feel as though I have been robbed of my payment of $1380.
I am writing this review so that other new brides-to-be will not end up in the same situation as I - with wilted flowers on her big day, or clueless college age students as "fill ins" when Cat has overbooked herself (please note that she has another bride (Heidi, below this review) reviewing on this site for the same date of 10-10-10 and she had a great wedding- it seems that Cat chose one wedding to focus on and the reviews speak the truth of which wedding was the priority.

I will never forget walking down the aisle with water down my dress from the coordinators inexperienced "hand off" and those big floppy/wilted flowers - dripping all over me. I had water stains down my beautiful gown...I walked down the aisle worried that my husband to be would notice. A bride should never have to worry about such a thing.

I am quite frankly shocked at the clear lack of professionalism. Lemon Drop Socials is a business out to make money while exerting as little effort as humanly possible. "Overpromise and Under Deliver" should be Lemon Drop Social's new signature slogan. Cat is much too busy with her fulltime job, numerous side businesses, children/family and multiple weddings at once to handle your wedding (so please do not make the same mistake I did). She works a fulltime position as an admin - she uses all of their supplies: paper, ink, and Xerox machines to make wedding programs.

I also must note that she contested the reviews that came from my bridal party: my brother who walked me down the aisle, my bridesmaid, and my mother. Cat Pham does not want their HONEST and valid reviews on this website because she is embarrassed of her actions and also fears losing future business from new hopeful brides who she can “pull one over on”.
If anybody is interested in verifying my information, would like photographs or videos of the abovementioned or has any questions, please feel free to contact me or any of my wedding party - they were the ones who saw and experienced the disaster firsthand.

I was so upset by the Lemon Drop disaster on my wedding day that I contacted her as soon as I returned from my honeymoon - and after her complete disregard for me, I took Cat Pham/Lemon Drop Socials to Small Claims Court. The case was dropped when I did not appear - I was too sick to make it to court that day (5 months pregnant and very ill). Unfortunately I did not get to prove my case, but that is okay because my health and my son's health is much more important than wasting MORE of my time and life on Lemon Drop Socials. Just know that if you plan on using Lemon Drop Socials, I recommend that you do your homework first...and make sure Cat isn't double booking on your special day and that SHE will be there (not last minute subs). Also, make sure that you get samples of what flowers will be used and also any changes in writing (ask her to provide the contracted note taking "minutes" after each meeting) or you will surely end up in the same boat. She never provided me "minutes" from any of our 2 Starbucks coffee meetings. Oh - and don't expect your wedding suite decorated as contracted.

Lemon Drop Socials respects the opinions of our brides and thanks our clients for any constructive criticism they may have to help us nurture and better our services for future clients and for the betterment of our staff.

After writing this review and having it contested, this bride took the issue one step further. We would like to note that she is the first and only bride to take us to Small Claims court, citing that we did not fulfill all our duties, as outlined in our contract. This accusation was and is false. The case was dismissed in Orange County Superior Court. The bride did not show up for the hearing.

We documented over 75 hours of labor, 76 text message exchanges and over 100 email exchanges between Lemon Drop Socials and this bride. We take pride in our work and try to accommodate to our brides' requests and needs as best as we can. In addition, the bride was fully aware of who would be coordinating her wedding, as her contract clearly states the name of her day-of coordinator, which was given to her months before the wedding. The day-of coordinator is an experienced wedding professional who has worked with not only Lemon Drop Socials but also another reputable event-planning company in Southern California and has many successful events under her belt. The notion that the coordinator was a "last minute" decision is false.

Lemon Drop Socials is regretful to hear that the bride had such a poor experience. We emailed the bride the day after the wedding as a follow-up. She did not respond to us until 10 days later. We did speak with her after her honeymoon and after she had emailed her dismay in a series of five emails within a 48 hour period following upon the return from her honeymoon. Unfortunately, she was unwilling to hear anything we had to say.

The bride's DJ/Emcee, whom she hired, has requested to work with us again. We feel that if another wedding professional saw the event as being a complete "disaster," he would not desire to work with us again. This is only a testament to how untrue her statements are.

Once again, we respect her opinion. But, also respectfully disagree with her review and hope that our other shining reviews will outweigh this one.
