Lem did a great job with our ceremony. We met a few times beforehand via phone calls so he could get to know us better and get an idea of what we were looking for. He prepared a perfect custom ceremony for us. He kept the ceremony lighthearted and personable. A few of our guests even asked us how we knew him afterwards because of how personal he was in how he delivered the ceremony, they were shocked when we said we found him online and didn't know him personally prior. He arrived to the ceremony with ample time as well. He was also very quick to jump aside for the kiss so he wasn't in our photo for that, this was something I didn't even think about so I appreciated it was something he thought of. He has got the whole thing down from start to finish! Highly recommend!

The Best Officiant
We cannot say enough great things about our officiant, Lem. From start to finish, he was incredibly hands-on and truly invested in making our ceremony meaningful and stress-free. He stayed completely aligned with our Christian beliefs, which meant so much to us, and delivered a ceremony that felt genuine, intentional, and personal.
On top of that, Lem went above and beyond by handling and delivering our marriage license, which took a huge weight off our shoulders and allowed us to fully enjoy our day without added stress. Overall, he was wonderful to work with—professional, thoughtful, and supportive every step of the way. We could not recommend him enough!

My husband and I got married but in October and we couldn't be happier to choose Lem. He was amazing to work with for our wedding. We thought we wanted to go with a family member officiating but after doing some research we decided to change, only a couple months prior. Best Officiant Ever!!!
Lem was our wedding officiant and he was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We truly could not have asked for a better person for the job. From the initial phone conversation, our 1:1 meeting in person, email/text communication on the days leading up to and on our wedding day, Lem was personable, extremely attentive, and supportive throughout the entire wedding process. We had many questions, which Lem happily answered them all within a timely manner and walked us through our ceremony step by step which helped ease our nerves. Lem also gave us advice and allowed us to bounced ideas off him. During the ceremony, Lem made our wedding guest laugh and although we didn’t exchange public vows, Lem ensured our ceremony was still intimate and that we felt connected to the guests. He had probably the most important job of the day at our wedding and because of him, it was the most perfect ceremony!! You can really tell he really loves what he does!

Great Officiant in Charlotte
We used Lem LeRoy’s services for our wedding in Charlotte during December 2022. From the start, Lem was very responsive and was able to have a phone conversation outlining his process for a wedding. We quickly met up at a local brewery for further conversation and to get to know each others background. We were all set and Lem was very organized and flexible on how we wanted the Ceremony to make it fit exactly how we wanted it but with his guidance. Lem joined us for the rehearsal dinner the day before to make sure everyone was lined up and ready the day before. On the night of our Wedding Lem performed a very nice ceremony. All the attendees at the wedding enjoyed it. Would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding officiant in Charlotte. Thank you Lem!

We are so grateful to Lem for making our ceremony so special! He truly went above and beyond to make the ceremony personalized and just the right tone for what we wanted. Personable, flexible officiant
Was the ideal complement to the ceremony. Lem was open to tweaking how much religion was implemented and order of service, and our vision ended up mostly aligning with what he already had in mind. We were confident both our sets of parents would appreciate Lem's message and candor, and that came to fruition! If you want a religious service that's still personable to all, Lem is an ideal choice.

We are so happy we found Lem and he was available to officiate our wedding ceremony! He is very easy to work with and flexible. He is open to collaborating with the couple and took the time to get an understanding of our vision for the ceremony, whether religious or non religious, short or long, etc. we felt very comfortable and confident with him as our officiant and we are so thankful he was part of our big day!

We will forever be grateful to Lem and can't speak highly enough!
We knew after our first conversation with Lem that he was going to be a wonderful part of our wedding ceremony. Prior to the wedding, he met with us in person to get to know us, talk us through the ceremony, give us suggestions on how best to write our own vows, and answer all of our questions. He tailored the ceremony to fit what we wanted, and we were able to incorporate readings that reflected who we are as a couple. His words and delivery provided just the right balance of humor/ levity and sentimentality during the ceremony. Even though we did not know Lem personally prior to planning our wedding, on our wedding day we felt like he was truly someone we could count on, he provided a ceremony that felt very personal and reflected our relationship perfectly, and we will always be grateful for the major role he has played in our lives. We highly recommend Lem as a wedding officiant, whether you are planning a religious or non-religious ceremony.

100% recommend Lem!!
I can’t say enough about Lem! My husband and I feel so lucky that Lem married us. From the beginning he was professional, listened to our ideas, and was excited to be apart of our big day. We had an initial phone conversation and then met in personal to get to know each other while going through our ceremony draft. Lem was super helpful at walking us through the process and bouncing ideas on how to personalize our ceremony to what we had in mind. Lem let us lead with the key points we wanted to incorporate into our ceremony (personalized vows, quote/reading, etc) but had everything else sorted out so that we didn’t have to worry about actually having to write it all out. We really appreciated the time Lem took to get to know both of us, hear our story, and also let us get to know him. We instantly felt comfortable and excited he would be the marrying us. Lem was very helpful at our rehearsal in walking us through the timeline and making sure we were ready to go! Our ceremony was so beautiful and it really was because Lem brought it all together. He had a great way of making the ceremony heart felt but light and energetic at the same time. I cannot recommend Lem enough and we are so happy our paths crossed!

Wonderful Experience with this Officiant
From the moment he arrived Lem set a wonderful tone for our wedding by being personal, warm and engaging with everyone. He put us at ease with this attitude and the fact that he prepared us ahead of time on what to expect. He gave us examples of vows and scriptures to use, along with suggestions, and we were able to make it our own. We can't say enough good things about the way he officiated our wedding!

You won’t regret it!
We are so grateful to have found Lem to be our officiant. He was professional but also personable and was truly a joy to have helping us through our special day. He helped us create a custom ceremony where he found the balance between tradition/religion that my husband was hoping for and my non-religious perspective. He even rolled with the punches when we had a small mishap during the ceremony (not at all caused by Lem and completely out of his control) and we all had a good laugh later. Everyone enjoyed chatting with him after the ceremony as well. You will not regret hiring Lem to be your officiant.

I found Lem a few months before our wedding date and after reading his stellar reviews, I was so thankful that he was available on our date. Amazing Human Being!!!!
Lem was absolutely amazing to work with. My now-husband and I felt so at ease with him! He was incredibly detailed, going over everything with us, progression of events, what to expect etc. Lem was always quick to respond if we needed anything and just always there for us. During the actual ceremony, everything he said was beautiful and absolutely spot on. He was able to capture our entire relationship perfectly. Both our families LOVED him too! It was amazing to be able to have him stay after and hang out for a bit too to meet everyone. I couldn't recommend him more!

Pastor LeRoy officiated our wedding in Black Mountain NC. He is very professional but makes you feel like he's part of your family. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Fantastic experience!
We cannot recommend Lem enough. He was very helpful and patient with us when our licensed was delayed. He was there every step of the way offering any assistance he could.

Amazing Experience
Lem made our day truly special and perfect! He was very responsive and made the whole process so smooth. We eloped from out of state and he was very helpful with any questions or concerns that we had. He also made sure to make our wedding personalized how we wanted it and really catered to our needs. Lem was awesome!
Lem Leroy was an awesome Officiant! He really kept in contact all the way up to the day of our wedding. We did traditional vows, but Lem added personal touches to make our vows more special. He even took pictures for us! Lem really went out of his way, especially since our wedding was in Chimney Rock, NC and he drove from Charlotte! Very professional, and dependable! Would definitely recommend Lem Leroy!

Lem was a fantastic officiant! He's personable, organized, and reliable. He went above and beyond his services by providing reminders about obtaining a marriage license and recommendations for ceremony locations. He even has backup officiant connections in case he's ever unavailable on the day of the event. He's a wonderful addition to a special day!

Lem was very personable and so easy to work with. Made our Friday rehearsal extremely relaxing. (We had rain in the forecast). Was able to talk about the cool things in both our lives at the service and weave in how Christ worked in and through our lives to get us to the altar.
He was very punctual and thorough in preparation and officiating our ceremony. We would definitely recommend Lem for your wedding ceremony.

Lem Is The Best!
We were so glad to have Lem as a part of our wedding as our pianist. He was so easy to work with, came early, accommodated to every request we had in terms of song selection, and was perfectly subdued about his playing style that it set the tone, yet left the focus on us and the importance of the day. We had a wonderful experience with Lem as our officiant. Our wedding was planned quickly and Lem took the change of venue in stride.
