There is no doubt that Leeann is amazing. Her images speak for themselves. I don’t need to try and explain the epic awesomeness with words when you can clearly see it with one short click through her well-crafted website or blog. What I do want to share is the experience of being a Leeann Marie Photography bride. It is unlike any other. From day one, Mike and I received top notch, professional, full service treatment from Leeann. She didn't even judge us for coming in about 4 months before we were even engaged (when you know, you know - Husbands, Photographers, same rules apply). Throughout the planning process, she was always available, enthusiastic and comforting – especially when I became a bit frantic when the weather forecast turned to rain! The day of the wedding, both Leeann and Melissa were phenomenal. We were able to get the oh-so-important pre-ceremony photos for both the girls and the guys, not to mention have two sets of extremely talented eyes that led to– you guessed it – one giant set of breathtaking photos. Thanks to what I can only assume are super powers, Leeann and Melissa were able to wrangle our giant bridal party (whom we love dearly but were a bit feisty!), and snap some sweet and crazy shots. For Mike and I, a stroll down the North Shore Riverwalk turned into photos that look like they were taken in 5 different locations – teleportation by photography, who could ask for anything more?! Once at the reception, we did not even see the photography ninjas – yet from the pictures, I can only imagine there were points they were hanging from the ceiling to get those dancing shots! Before the night ended, Leeann remembered that I never got a picture with my Godparents or my brother – two photos I would have regretted missing dearly. Mike and I cannot begin to express the emotions we felt going through our photos - Thank you for so artfully and enchantingly capturing the happiest day of our lives and for being so fantastic in each and every way.

I LOVE HER!!! Leeann did our engagement photos when we were living in Pittsburgh. After working with her I couldn't imagine having someone else do our wedding. She has such a laid back ease about her that you automatically feel comfortable. I was impressed with her professionalism and ability to work with the bridal party.
Most importantly though, her photos are amazing! She ran a slide show at the reception and everyone came up to me afterwards saying how gorgeous her work is. We haven't gotten to see the final results yet but I cannot wait!
I would definitely recommend Leeann to anyone!

My husband and I couldn't be more thrilled with the way our wedding pictures turned out! Leeann and Melissa did an amazing job on our wedding day. We loved working with Leeann throught the entire process. She was extremely quick to respond to emails and phone calls and even helped us with non-photography related questions. We had a copy of all of our pictures within 2 weeks of the wedding which has impressed everyone! We have also received our photo album design already. She is extremely professional and you can tell that she genuinely wants the best for her clients. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing wedding photographer!!

Working with Leeann was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Everyone we talked to after the event commented on how amazing she is before we even asked! For the more posed pictures she is very creative and during the event, she does a perfect job of not getting in the way while capturing every moment beautifully. I wish I was getting married again just so I can take pictures with her.

I've had the pleasure of working with and seeing Leeann photograph several of my friends weddings, so when it was finally my turn I knew there was only one person to call! Leeann is so easy to work with, very responsive, and a joy to be around! With all of the stress of wedding planning, I knew as long as I had her booked our photographs were the one thing we wouldn't have to worry about. And even with all of that, she exceeded all of our expectations! It was a very very hott day for our June outdoor wedding, but she managed to get all of our pictures done in no time and ones that we'll cherish for a lifetime. Not only that but she had our full gallery done in less than a week, and a beautiful book mailed to us shortly after! I can assure you there is noone better in the Pittsburgh area then Leeann Marie Photography- book her and you'll be looking at your photos everyday like we do! Thanks Leeann!

Leeann is absolutely amazing. Her professionalism and eye for detail are unparalled. My husband and I live in Pittsburgh, but we were married in Virginia. We wanted our engagement pictures done here so Leeann photographed us downtown last June. We were very impressed with the result. Leeann was a pleasure to work with and we've received nothing but compliments on her photographic artwork. We hope she'll become our family photographer in the future :)

Leeann Marie Photography was the best money I spent on my wedding! I've been married for 2 weeks and all of my photos have already been sent to me including my album design! She's crazy fast!! The pictures are absolutely stunning, and even though it rained so all of our original ideas had to be scrapped, Leeann came up with awesome creative pictures that I adore!! She's so easy to work with, incredibly quick to respond to phone calls or emails, super flexible, and just generally awesome. I can't say enough good things about Leeann Marie Photography, if you're getting married just hire her and her team to take your pictures. Don't even think about. Seriously, just do it, you won't regret it! Leeann's THE best there is. And you don't even have to be getting married in PA - she travels! If I could rate her higher than 5's here, I would.

Leeann is quick to respond to my questions, very personable, able to work with your budget & was able to improvise! I wanted the fairytale look -- when our limo broke down, we couldn't shoot at Mellon Park & she made Pitt's campus my fairytale. I absolutely love her style, creativity & personality. Her hard work and dedication truly shows in her photos. Our picture were BEAUTIFUL not only for the wedding but for our engagement session too! Leeann was exceptional and so helpful with the photography process. Our engagement session was the first professional pictures that we had taken, and she was so helpful in guiding us through the process and making us feeling comfortable. Her responses were always timely and thorough, and she was extremely flexible to meet our needs. The morning of our shoot, downtown Pittsburgh was covered in fog (are you surprised?). We wanted to see if the fog would burn off so we called right before our session to swap our two shoot locations. Leeann had no problem making the swap on the spot. As far as the end product, we couldn’t be happier with our photos.

Finding Leeann Marie and hiring her as our wedding photographer was one of the best and smartest decisions I made during wedding planning. Her photos are fabulous - I was first drawn to them because they're simply gorgeous - and I found myself immediately looking through everything she had on her website because the photos were just so pretty. Then, I started following her on Twitter, and I could tell she was someone I would trust capturing our wedding - and that she would have fun while doing it. I never once regretted the decision to hire her - even without ever meeting her face to face until she took our engagement photos. She is the ultimate professional, so extremely easy to work with and our photos are gorgeous - I couldn't be happier.

Wonderful Wedding Photographer!!

Leeann is simply amazing! Her and Rachel were able to catch the most amazing moments and details throughout our day! My husband and I were so comfortable taking pictures with her- she made it so fun and easy to be in front of the camera! On top of being an stellar photographer, Leeann was so flexible with plan changes (and there were many of them being a COVID bride)! We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! Her skill and professionalism is unmatched!

Simply put, Leeann is amazing. She shoot our engagement photos last May, and did an unbelievable job. It was our first time being photographed and she totally put us at ease. She listened to what I wanted, and put her own spin on it. When we got the pictures back, they were beyond my expectations! The weather had been pretty crummy, and she still managed to make them bright and colorful. She is the best in Pittsburgh!

Leeann Marie was awesome. She treats your wedding like an open book. She is extremely open to the couples' ideas on how they want to look in their pictures, and what sort of shots they want to get. Any type of request we asked, she had no problem fulfilling it. Also, on the other end of that spectrum, if you're really stuck on how you want something to look, or what shots to take, Leeann is very creative and capable in arranging special shots, looks, backgrounds, etc to make pictures pop! Overall she's a very laid back person, who is not your typical "intense wedding photographer" who's shoving cameras in your face and yelling at you to get out of the way. During the reception, I didn't even see her, but as I look at all the awesome photos it amazes that I never saw her. On a scale of 1-100 (100 being the best), I give her a 350.

So if you're looking for someone who's open to a bride's suggestions, extremely professional and talented, has great experience, and is truly a great person to be around, pick Leeann. You won't regret it. I'm not going to lie, I looked at our pictures, and then I saw other peoples' pictures, and our photos were easily 50x better

One last thought: It took her about...oh, 2 weeks to get us ALL of our photos for online viewing. I've seen weddings where it takes several months!! She is so fast, you'd think that she's got a whole workshop of munchkins editing and processing photos, but it's just her!! Do the engagement session as well, very worth it.

Leeann is a very talented photographer. She is flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to capture those memorable moments. Lee was also extremely personable and easy to work with. We met with her one time, filled out a questionnaire, and it was as easy at that! I was especially thrilled with how quickly she was able to post the photos. While we were on our honeymoon, she had already created a beautiful blog with some of the best photos of the day. It was so easy to share all the photos with my eager friends and family. To top it all off, we have a gorgeous album to keep forever. Leeann is friendly, dedicated, creative, flexible, talented, and everything you could possibly want in a wedding photographer. My only regret is that I spent time looking for other photographers. She is great. You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I weren't able to afford engagement pictures prior to our wedding, so we waited until our first anniversary and had Leeann take engagement-style pictures for us. For being one of her very first clients, the pictures turned out beautifully. Leeann has a natural talent for photography and really hit the ground running with her new business. Leeann was a DREAM to work with. We were clueless going through this process, and she was so easy to work with and helpful. We had a ton of questions along the way, and she was responsive, gave suggestions, etc. and made the process fun! She's really funny and has a great personality (which I think is super important for developing a quick relationship etc., since this person will be capturing all of your memories on your big day!). My husband and I were a little nervous about all of the photos we would be taking and could've been very awkard, but Leeann helped us not take it too seriously and captured AMAZING photos/moments. Her work is the best I've seen, and she truly captured so much emotion that day. We opted to only have one photographer (her), and she hustled to get amazing angles, etc. I do not think we missed anything without a second photographer. I would recommend her highly for any bride or couple that wants unbelievable pictures and natural moments that truly capture all of the emotion of the day.

Leeann was a fantastic photographer to work with, and our wedding photos were GORGEOUS! My husband and I are not entirely comfortable in front of the camera, but she made sure we were at ease and both our engagement session and our wedding photos were spectacular. Leeann never pushed us into anything that didn't feel like us, and our pictures really reflect how happy we were on our wedding day. She has a super fun personality coupled with an uncanny ability to disappear into the background when necessary, while still capturing every minute. Highly recommend!

Superb photographer and person

We were immediately impressed by Leeann just by seeing her work. I loved her use of light, her ability to capture emotions, and the joy and love that shines through in her photos. Once we met her, we were able to see how easy she is to get along with, how organized she is, and what an amazing part of our wedding team she would be. We had the pleasure of working with Leeann several times over 3 years (engagement photos, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding) and each time we were blown away by her work.
For starters - at our engagement photo session she helped us to decide where to go, what to wear (even helping my husband choose a shirt when he couldn't decide), and at what time to take them. We got absolutely stunning photos right at sunset, due to her perfect timing. She made us feel so comfortable, when we usually feel awkward and hesitant while taking photos.
At the bridal shower and rehearsal dinner - we could not have been happier to have her there. It is such a stress relief to not have to worry about taking photos, or making sure that the entire family is captured in a picture. Leeann takes care of everything, and does so in a completely seamless fashion, so that we did not feel like we were missing out on the day to take photos.
Leading up to the wedding, she made the planning process simple and effective. I felt confident knowing that she would get each shot that I wanted. On the actual wedding, I was thrilled knowing she was there with us. We were hit with some heavy Pittsburgh rain right before the ceremony, and she so excellently pivoted to our pre-planned backup location that she helped us choose prior (that I truthfully think worked out even better than our original plan). She organized mine and my husband's entire family to get every single photo that we wanted, and did so within the time constraints of our church. Our bridal party and family were so impressed with her efficiency, while being so fun and calm! Leeann has the ability to make everyone feel comfortable and excited, while keeping the entire crew on schedule.
Our photos are something that we will cherish for a lifetime, and it is so important to have a photographer that you trust. We have not stopped receiving compliments on our wedding photos. I cannot recommend Leeann enough. I relive our wedding day every time I look through our photos - and the emotions and happiness that she captured, takes me right back to that day.

Leeann is full of energy and unique ideas. She is able to take the regular wedding photo op and turn it into a work of art. She provided us with the most beautiful memories from our wedding day and everytime I look through our photos I'm so grateful Leeann captured all of the little moments that made our day so special. We had our hearts set on taking pictures on the North Shore by Heinz Field. We were kinding of pushing it to make it back to the reception in time and everyone, including our limo driver, thought driving to the North Shore and back was a terrible idea. Not Leeann! She quickly pulled up a traffic app on her phone, saw that things were moving smoothly and just like that we were on our way. She is resourceful, flexible, caring and professional. On top of that she is a blast to work with! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer in the Pittsburgh area. She is the best BY FAR!

Leeann is a phenomenal talent and I am so happy that we chose her to photograph our wedding. Leeann has been my "go to" for every photo op over the past 3 years. I originally had another photographer booked for my ever popular wedding date (9-10-11) but my heart was not convinced. I'm so glad I questioned my own intentions and decided to meet with Leeann for some pre- wedding boudoir pictures for my now husband. WOW - Lets just say it was a match made in photo heaven. The way she handled every step of the process was exactly what I was looking for in a wedding photographer. Responsive, professional, ease of doing business, modernly savvy and skilled at her trade! I immediately booked her for every thing leading up to my wedding and let me tell you our engagement photos are amazing! The wedding was captured beautifully. I cannot say enough good things about the Leeann Marie Collective. I was living in Florida planning our Pittsburgh wedding and Leeann made planning a breeze. She was incredibly flexible with my schedule and meeting when I was in town. She also provided me with so much information that was really helpful in planning and selecting other vendors. Leeann has lightning fast email powers and literally gets back to you in no time when you have questions. For my wedding I had Loren and Melissa photographing, and both were awesome to work with. I was nervous because it rained on my wedding day and most of the locations I wanted to take photos weren't going to work out. Not only did the girls reassure me that it would all be ok, but they also found some great spots for photos that were just as good if not better than what I had in mind. My husband and I absolutely love our wedding photos!! They are beautiful and really captured our happiness on that day. If I could change anything about the experience it would only be to have them there longer to have more of their fantastic photos!!! Believe it or not, this is the second time that I booked Leeann Marie Photography for a wedding! When I knew I was getting remarried, I decided to contact Leeann because she had done such a beautiful job on my first wedding. She not only was able to work within my budget because of her Intimate Weddings package, but she was willing try a few new techniques to reflect my wedding's style. I have had the pleasure of working with Leeann Marie over this past year on several occasions. Let me begin by saying that I am amazed by her art each and every time I see it. Our engagement pictures were phenomenal! They encompassed who we are as a couple with a ton of added flare! Leeann's creativity amazes me and not only was the experiance super fun but the photos were creative, beautiful and timeless. She has always been open to new ideas as well as AMAZING at coming up with wonderful and creative ideas that surpass any expectation. Our wedding experiance was wonderful, we have beautiful portraits to cherish forever. I was so impressed with the diversity of our portraits and various feels, backdrops and styles we recieved. We were left with amazing memories that captured our special and intimate day!I re-live my special day each time I go back and look at the beautiful images she created for us. We recieved our photos in such a timely manner and she was/is always more than willing to go above and beyond in answering my MANY questions regarding products and printing. To top this all off I recently brought our cycle full circle and did a Trash the Dress session with Leeann which I LOVED!! She completly "got me'' and allowed for my visions to come to life through her artistry and amazing talent! I would HIGHLY recommend Leeann Marie Photography to any bride to be for any type of photography! I am beyond happy with all of the products that I have recieved .Leeann is fun, creative, UBER talented , professional, hard working and an all around wonderful individual!

I can't say enough about Leeann Marie. Hiring her and Melissa to photograph my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. She made everything so easy and the quality of her work was beyond expectation. My husband and I had a blast with them on our day and we couldn't believe how fast she sent our pictures to us. We also ordered a large leather album of our pictures that also came to us fast and the quality is unbelievable. I hope that she's available for your special day, because she'll capture every special moment!

If you're looking for a wedding/engagement photographer who will not just take your picture, but will turn it into a piece of art, Leeann is your girl. Her images are absolutely stunning. My husband and I have gotten SO many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos because Leeann has such a creative eye for photography. She is professional, but she treats her clients like her friends (and I wouldn't be surprised if most of them become her friends...she is just. that. awesome.), and has a knack for making you feel at home in front of the camera. Leeann is super-attentive and helpful, answers any and all questions you may have, and seems to truly enjoy what she does. She hires awesome second-shooters, too. :) Remember, you're going to spend a lot of time with your wedding photographer on your wedding day, so you want someone who will make you feel at ease. I highly recommend Leeann Marie Photography because she does just that!!

She gets to know who you really are and learns what you want your wedding day to be like. Before you wedding, Leeann has already clarified the types of photos that bride and groom want, family members names, important moments to be captured, and the overall way you as a bride and groom want to remember your special day. She truly customizes your photography package, and never asks or interferes with the overall happenings at the wedding. Once you receive your beautiful photos, you'll be like "WOW when did she or they take that picture .... I love it!" Leeann truly captures the day, the emotion, and the love shared between the bride and groom. Oh and did I mention the COLOR QUALITY OF HER PHOTOS .... FABULOUS!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Melissa. As our ceremony photographer, she was able to handle the chaos of family and friends and still managed to get all of the pictures we wanted, ahead of the timeline we were on. Leeann was so quick to respond to any inquiries I had through the process and they even had a preview photo up the day after the wedding on their facebook!

Leeann and Loren were our photographers - and they are worth every penny! Leeann is professional, extremely responsive, and very pleasant to work with! Our wedding day was rainy and gross, which bummed me out because I had my heart set on outside photos. We did them anyway - Loren stood over us with an umbrella, and Leeann carried around special lighting - the pictures are SERIOUSLY GORGEOUS! The rain actually added to the photos - and I couldn't be happier with them! You can barely tell it was overcast. They sped along the bridal party photos like champs as well. When I woke up the next day, I already had 20 photos to preview. Our family and guests couldn't say enough great things about her work!

So happy we chose her as our photographer! Definitely recommend.

Our Wedding 8.20.21

I had heard from friends that Leeann was the best of the best. Immediately after we got engaged I sought her out to see if she was available. Boy did she not disappoint!! She is VERY responsive. If I had questions or needed advice she was on it!! I knew that she was focused on making this journey and our wedding day as special as she could. She has a questionnaire for her couples to complete to help prep for the wedding day. IT IS AMAZING. I didn’t have to worry about missing any shots or our timeline for events. The questionnaire covered all of that! Even better she sets up a call to go over everything with you!! She heard our needs and made sure we were happy. Wedding planning (especially in covid) can be stressful but she made it SO easy and we can’t thank her enough!! Now let’s talk photos…I had 90-100 previews at the end of our wedding weekend!!! We were so excited to be able to share a sneak peek with our family and friends!! When we received the full album my mouth hit the floor. IT. WAS. INCREDIBLE. Our photos were absolutely stunning!!!! Not only did we have all our shots in color but we also have them each in black and white!! Leeann’s attention to detail is amazing. She captured all the right moments and now we can treasure that day for the rest of our lives. She truly is the BEST in the business and she has a big heart. If you need a photographer…look no further!! Leeann thank you for everything. Our day was perfect and you contributed to that more than you know!!

We were lucky enough to have Leeann and Melissa photograph our wedding and we are SO HAPPY with the photos! Leeann has a very streamlined process which made it so easy for us to fill out information forms, pay her, sign the contract, etc. Everything is digital and super easy to use. We knew where we stood every step of the way! Leeann also photographed our engagement session downtown which was so much fun! Both she and Melissa are extremely good people and are so fun to be around. They take their jobs seriously and make everyone feel so natural and relaxed throughout the entire process. We felt completely confident in Leeann and Melissa throughout our wedding day and they captured everything so beautifully!! They are extremely efficient with the portrait photographs after the ceremony and are so understanding and sensitive to family dynamics. They are talented, caring, patient, efficient and so hard working!! My husband and I are so, so happy we chose Leeann Marie Photographers for our wedding and highly recommend them to our friends, family and colleagues! We can't wait for our album!!

Leeann was absolutely amazing to work with! She responded to all of my emails quickly and was able to make sure everything would go smoothly on my wedding day! Melissa was my wedding day photographer and she was just as sweet and helpful! She felt more like a part of the family and made sure I wasn't stressed at all. The photos were stunning and I still can't help but look at them! Leeann helped to make an album that was perfect. They were the absolute best choice!

Leeann understands and performs event photography better than anyone I've ever seen. My wife and I just received our pictures and have spent the last 16 hours looking at these photos again and again, at home and at work. She has an uncanny instinct for being in the right place at the right time and yet manages to be completely invisible.

Her pictures of our ceremony and the details are fit for the front cover of any high end wedding magazine. During the reception, she was able to take pictures that even with a high-def long range lens seem impossible to have taken for people who weren't posing; but they weren't, they were having a total blast at our wedding and didn't even notice Leeann doing her job. She not only totally understood the spirit of our wedding but gave it a second life with a selection of photography so comprehensive that it could almost be called narrative.

Leeann is a total professional, catering to our needs and always available for contact; she is well versed in all forms of social media and will make your photos easily available. I have absolutely no complaints about any aspect of her service or the finished product and in fact cannot speak highly enough of her; do yourself a favor and hire her for any event.

Our wedding photos were absolutely stunning! Leeann was a pleasure to work with both before, after and on the wedding day. My only complaint is that we don't have any photos from our cocktail hour, and I wish that I would have given her a list of specific photos I wanted because there were some key ones we didn't get. Otherwise, service, professionalism and quality were great!!!

I had originally wrote a great review, but after getting our wedding pics back I had to change it. Our engagement pics were amazing so we were so excited for the wedding. When we got them back we noticed that there weren't any pics of my mom or grandparents walking down the aisle. When I asked her she said if she knew it was important she would have made it top priority. How is mother of the bride and grandparents of the bride not top priority?? We even had two photographers! The other guy was useless. So we basically paid an extra 350 for nothing. They also didn't get one of our ring bearer and flower girl walking down the aisle also. No pics of our rings together, I also said I wanted pics with my college friends. There were none. And not one of our entire wedding party together. I had to fill out a questionnaire and we spoke before the wedding to talk about shots to take and locations and these people were all included. It is just very sad to know that I don't have these. It's not that I don't recommend bc I do like her work, I just had a disappointing experience. And we only spoke over email. I thought at least a phone call after knowing I was upset would have happened.

Very pleased with the quality of work from this photographer. Very good skills when it comes to pictures. Be sure and ask for the baisc pictures that you want ( Such as a picture with your mother, as the bride, I was discouraged because i didn't get one with my mom, that broke my heart) So double check and make sure she gets pics such as that. I also never recieved a photobook of some of my pictures, Very surpised for how expensive . Overall i was pleased with her photography abilities.

This review is not about Leeann. We had Loren for our wedding and it's been 2.5 years and I still cannot even look at my pictures. I decided to do my own book recently and looking through them is almost painful. I was married at my parents home and you wouldn't even know it. Loren had us go up the hill and half the pictures have some street cable or my neighbors house in them ! Also, there's part of an ugly fence that's around my parents vegetable garden behind my bridesmaids pictures. It's not my job to pay attention to the background. The grass was all muddy and cut up where she had us and the coloring is terrible. The front of my parents house has a beautiful garden and no muddy grass. My only thought is that she didn't feel like taking our pictures in the blazing sun, which is ridiculous. I filled in the spreadsheet I was sent for te pictures I wanted with family and almost none of that was fulfilled. It's as if my fathers side and my husbands fathers side wasn't even there. She also wore ripped up jeans and some tank top that looked like it came out of her dirty laundry. On top of all that, she left without telling a soul, and left before I did my bouquet toss and before I left. We have no pictures of any of those two events. I really liked Loren when I spoke with her before the wedding and I loved her artistic style, and I feel bad for leaving this review, but if Loren is still in this studio, I would NOT recommend her. It looks like almost everyone has had Leeann or Leeann and Melissa. I wish I had at least one of those women there with Loren so I would have gotten the pictures I paid for. When I contacted Leeann a year later, all she offered was to redo the pictures... Thats not really a day you can recreate.. I realize we should have contacted her earlier, but I looked at them once and never opened them again they upset me so much. I'm sure Leeann is amazing. But I wouldn't know personally.
