If you are planning a wedding and need a planner, I cannot recommend Marnie enough.
We actually first worked with Marnie back in 2018 when she helped with my sister’s wedding, and she was amazing then. So when I got engaged, reaching out to her was an absolute no brainer.
From the beginning she was there for everything…answering my million questions, helping with every little detail, and making the whole planning process feel so much less overwhelming. She truly handled so much behind the scenes and kept everything running smoothly.
On the day of the wedding, Marnie was incredible. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing because I knew she had it all under control. That allowed us to just enjoy the day and soak in every moment.
Marnie is not only amazing at what she does, but she’s also just a genuinely wonderful person. I’m so grateful we got to work with her again and I can’t recommend her enough to anyone planning a wedding.
Marnie, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We love you!

Marnie is truly the absolute best. If you want to enjoy your wedding day and have a completely stress free experience, you need to hire her, no question!
We had the most incredible day, and it’s all thanks to Marnie. Several of our vendors even told us our wedding was one of the easiest they’ve ever worked, which says so much about the level of organization and professionalism she brings. I worked with her for about a year, and she was always there for anything we needed, no matter how big or small. When our original venue unexpectedly fell through just 3 ½ months before the wedding, Marnie jumped in immediately and helped us find another beautiful venue I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. She completely saved the day. She is so easy to work with, incredibly organized, and just an all around wonderful person. We are beyond grateful for everything she did to make our wedding so special. Also, Debbie and Ginger were absolutely fabulous, such an amazing team all around! Thank you Marnie for everything! -

Working with Marnie Kennedy of Leave It to Marnie was nothing short of a blessing. Just two weeks before our wedding, my family experienced an unimaginable loss with the unexpected passing of my ex-husband and the father of my children. In the midst of grief and overwhelming emotions, Marnie stepped in and essentially took over the entire planning process without hesitation.
Her compassion, professionalism, and ability to handle every detail allowed us the space to focus on what truly mattered—being there for our children during such a difficult time. She and her team went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was not only seamless, but as beautiful and meaningful as it could possibly be given the circumstances.
Because of Marnie and her team, our day was filled with love, support, and moments we will forever cherish. We were so grateful for her that she is now planning our daughter’s wedding, and we couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with such an important day.
I truly don’t know what we would have done without her. If you are looking for someone who genuinely cares and will show up for you in every possible way, I would highly recommend Marnie and her team at Leave It to Marnie to plan your next event—they are simply the best. -

Marnie is Amazing!
Deciding to reach out to Marnie a couple months before our wedding was the best decision we made. Marnie immediately made us feel at ease and seamlessly took over all communication and managing aspects of our event. We hired Marnie as a day of coordinator however feel as though she went above and beyond that title. 10/10 would absolutely recommend using Marnie for your wedding needs! -

She was honest with our ideas and knew how to make them better, while also introducing things we didn’t even know we needed. Leave it to Marnie is the BEST!
During my wedding weekend she was by my side. She made sure the rehearsal ran smoothly and that my bridal party would be prepared. She decorated my reception area with a colleague the night before so that she’d be available all day for anything I needed. From driving my bridal party to the ceremony due to transportation issues, to bringing my wedding gifts and left overs to my hotel suite so that no one else had to worry, she went above and beyond! I couldn’t recommend anyone more to help plan and coordinate a wedding! -

Absolutely phenomenal! We had the privilege of working with Marnie Kennedy as our wedding planner for our celebration on 10/11/25, and I truly cannot imagine a more perfect experience. From our very first meeting, Marnie’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the planning process. She anticipated needs we didn’t even know we had, and her organizational skills ensured that everything ran seamlessly.
On the big day, I felt completely pampered—something I haven’t experienced in ages! Marnie made sure I could simply enjoy every moment, knowing that she had everything under control. Every detail, from the décor to the timeline, was executed flawlessly. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful and well-coordinated everything was.

I am SO thankful that Marnie responded to my broad reach out in a Myrtle Beach wedding Facebook group. I was planning a wedding from out of state, sight unseen, and my one connection with Marnie saved me from filtering through dozens of comments and recommendations. She was a life saver and helped me navigate a contact change at the venue we chose, the details I would have never thought of, took care of recommending wonderful vendors she is well-connected with (and well-respected by!), and made my week of the wedding stress free and fun. I was so glad to meet her for coffee a couple days before the wedding and truly feel that I gained a new friend on top of having a rockstar wedding coordinator. I even cried at the end of my wedding night because our working relationship was over - she was that wonderful! I recommend Leave It Marnie 100 times over. You will absolutely not regret choosing her to help coordinate your wedding! -

Marnie went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was nothing short of amazing. We came from out of state and she helped secure our venue, book all our vendors, and helped coach us through the whole wedding planning experience. She was a total pro at day of coordination, and we barely had to lift a finger during our wedding because before we even thought of something she was on it.

Best ever!! When my daughter got married, Lauri and Marnie made the whole process so easy. I couldn’t have done it without them. They were incredible and I loved having them taking care of everything for me. I wish I had another daughter because I want to have them at my next wedding!! I had the best process leading up to my wedding thanks to Lauri and Marnie! Not only did they know extremely helpful tips and tricks for everything to flow smoothly but they also made sure they handled everything on my wedding day and made sure it was up to par! I didn’t even know until the next day that they had to send my cake back because it wasn’t up to par! I am so grateful for their expertise, compassion, and fun throughout the day! they truly were the best and you can’t go wrong with these two! 🩷 -

Marnie is amazing, so is her team of wonderful people. My wedding was beautiful and above what i expected. And laurie made us all laugh with our wedding vows. Marnie did everything all i did was show up for my wedding. If it wasnt for her i dont think i could've pulled this off. Javon and Chantel’s Wedding
Lauri is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! This is the person you want to hire because she is wonderful!! Our wedding was on March 27 and Lauri was our wedding reception coordinator and EVERYTHING was professionally coordinated!!! Lauri was ON IT from the beginning and I talked to her almost everyday, literally!! Any questions, advice, even about my wedding she was a text or phone call away!!! Lauri was helping me with wedding questions and advice when I had a wedding planner that wasn’t communicating! This lady has been a life saver for me. If she sensed a little bit of stress she immediately took over and just said everything that I needed to hear before getting off the call. I can tell you that with Lauri taking over my reception, there were no worries or stress at all. Did I mention I live in Texas and my wedding was on Myrtle Beach, SC. Having an out of state wedding can already be stressful but when you have a coordinator as great as I did, you can sleep very well at night! Lauri took charge and visited vendors that I was interested in, booked furniture, made sure everyone was present and ON TIME. Lauri and Marnie were both at my reception and when I tell you made me feel like a QUEEN!!! They constantly checked in on me to make sure I didn’t have to lift a finger for ANYTHING! Our food was on the table and ready when we arrived, drinks and Lauri came over to make sure we didn’t want more food or drinks!! She would even come over to ask if everything is ok and if there was anything or anyone that she needed to take care of! Lauri even made sure my DJ was taken care of with food!! Looking at my photos, Marnie and Lauri were even over helping with the serving of food!!!!!! This team is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! My husband and I felt like we already knew Lauri for years when just meeting face to face for the first time on our wedding day!!! Lauri is SO AMAZING that I could go on and on and on about her!!!!!! Oh my God she is wonderful because I was able to enjoy my wedding reception without worrying about a THING!!!!!!! The was the happiest day of my life and Lauri definitely added to that!!!! I’m trying to think of a reason that I need to use her again right now but I don’t have one lol!!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kennedy Doss!!!!!! Lauri is a SPECIAL Person and will be hearing from me again!!!! She took over COMPLETELY and took ALL MY STRESS AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! -

Upon the first phone conversation, Marnie was on it! Sending me the perfect vendors to call.. When visiting the venue to nail down ideas and details, Marnie walked us through, what could have been complicated and made things flow so easy for our wedding day. Everything was perfect!
Megan, our day of coordinator, was right there at every step keeping us on time and helping with a big pop up surprise from my new husband for me. We couldn’t have had such a perfect day without them!!
I didn’t think I had it in the budget to hire a wedding coordinator, but I am so glad I did!! -
