We had high hopes and expectations but Leah went wildly above what we hoped for. Her style fits the San Diego aesthetic wonderfully and her ability to capture the mood/hype/emotion of our wedding was incredible.
Our one worry, unrelated to any photographer, was our wedding size(50 people). I was worried it would look a little empty due to the smaller headcount but without me even asking, Leah was able to use her skill to still make it look grand.
My wife, myself, and everybody close to us are obsessed with these photos! Do yourself a favor and book her for your next event, you’l be thankful you did! -

We were having a themed wedding in Idyllwild and after searching through photographers in and around the area, we came across Leah’s gallery and was impressed with her use of light, the quality of her framing, and poses she’d captured. After setting up a call and discussing that we were looking for video and photography, Leah was ready with options to share based on our budget and what we had in mind. Her team was so excited about the event based on our wedding website we shared that they were overflowing with ideas, especially since the venue had so much character to offer. I was blown away by how thorough they were. From capturing the aesthetic of the venue, guests’ arrival, both me and my husband getting ready before the big moments, portraits with our guests, the ceremony itself, and then fun cinematic shots of us running around with swords in the woods. They really helped preserve our memories for such a special day we worked so hard to create for ourselves and our guests. They were incredibly easy to work with, were great at giving direction for poses, and genuinely fun to be around. As you can see from the photos, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better team to capture your special memories. Hire Leah and her team IMMEDIATELY. -

Amazing person to work with
We worked with Leah for photography and Gavin for videography. Leah’s team was amazing and patient. They went above and beyond to make our day perfect, adjusting to any changes or requests made. Leah was always quick to check on us and make sure we were doing okay throughout the time we spent with her. Gavin was also amazing and willing to work with any requests we made the day of. Their work is amazing, and we couldn’t have made a better decision for a wedding photographer and videographer. If I recommend her team a million times, it wouldn’t be enough! -

Where do I start? Leah is a world class photographer. I found her name on Wedding Wire but her Instagram really sold me. She has shot many different styles, and settings and her product is always flawless. It was such a pleasure to have her at my wedding, she was fun and accommodating during our schedule. She was prepared and organized before hand and she made it so easy for us. Her final edits of us are my most precious mementos from our wedding. She has an amazing way of capturing love and connection. I would 100% hire her for more events in the future, such a gem. -

Leah was highly recommended by our friend and videographer and we could not have been more satisfied for choosing her to capture our special day. Wedding photos are something to last a lifetime so we definitely wanted to be confident in our decision. We had leah photograph our engagement photos so we could get to meet her and she could see our personalities prior to the wedding day. Turn around for those photos were super quick and she did an amazing job. Leah was also kind enough to do a venue walk through with our vendors so she could get a lay of the land and decide ahead of time what photos she wanted to take where which left more time on our wedding day for us to enjoy. Fast forward to our wedding day, leah was always on time and super efficient. She was with us for 8 hours and captured every aspect of the wedding and provided us with almost 4,000 photos to cherish. Very quickly after our wedding we got a sneak peek and then shortly there after a highlights reel which were perfect. The touch ups/editing she does is timeless, the different poses she put us in were natural. In short we are thrilled we had her capture the start to our next chapter! -

The perfect photographer
Leah and her husband are amazing! We looked Leah pre-Covid and she was able to work with changing my date and so understanding. The engagement shoot was a vision I had that she brought to life. From the drive home from the engagement shoot me and my now husband just kept saying how nice, professional and so funny Leah and her husband were. She always answered all my questions very quickly, and really listens to her couples. I would choose her a million times again, so thankful I found her and know without a doubt our wedding photos will AMAZING. -

Great Value Engagement Photographer!
Leah was our engagement photographer during our COVID era photoshoot, and she was a pleasure to work with! She was very responsive, from my first email asking for quote information, to my last email requesting a touch up to a photo I wanted to use for my wedding website. We were very happy with the quality of our photos and would highly recommend her for anyone looking for engagement photos in the San Diego area. -

I was so thrilled when I saw my photos, I seriously cried. All the moments I didn't get to see, Leah and her team captured ALL of it. I was reliving my wedding day all over again, except now I get to see everything. Family photos are very important to me and she made sure we didn't miss anything. Having someone who knew what they were doing helped me have a stress free day and just enjoy the moment. She always made us feel so relaxed through the whole process. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, we loved working with her. I would book her now if you're considering it! She was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. -

We have been using LeahRachel Photography for over 10 years now. Leah has been there when my daughter was born 10 years ago, our Wedding, and family photos. She take great quality photos, very flexible with time because we’re military family, and best of all her artistic ability to know how and the locations to take great photos. We wouldn’t go to anyone else. -

Rankin wedding
My husband and I had the funnest time with Leah and her hubby. They go above and beyond to make sure your special day is special. We had a blast and it was so easy and non stressful having them around . Our guests and family all complemented how great they were and how beautiful our pictures turned out :) I look forward to having them photograph for us again . -
