  Stellar Communication and Execution

  We had the pleasure of working with Leah twice this past week while hosting a conference for wedding planners in Nashville! Before we even arrived, I knew Leah was the right choice thanks to her quick response times and flexibility in a few changes we had to make. She came and took photos of one of our sessions where the canned lighting was very harsh. She sent sneak peeks that same day* and they looked amazing!! When she joined us next for photos in our hotel, she worked so efficiently that we were able to have time for each of our attendees to grab a couple of new headshots. She helped pose us and make location recommendations. She is a joy to work with and has a great attitude and personality that you NEED for your next event. Take it from a group of 10 wedding planners, hire Leah for your next event! We can't wait to see the full gallery!

  Absolutely amazing!

  Leah was an absolute dream photographer to work with. Due to COVID forcing us to push our wedding date, Leah and I had actually never met before my wedding day! I was nervous, of course, but as soon as we met, I knew I made the right choice by choosing her as our wedding photographer. She contacted us plenty of times before the wedding date and was available to answer any of our questions. On our wedding day she was incredibly calm, but was able to command our large group with ease. During those intimate times during the wedding day, it almost felt like she wasn't even there - but she still managed to capture those moments beautifully. Of course, when we received our sneak peek and final gallery, we were amazed at how beautifully and authentic our pictures were. We are so grateful for you, Leah!

  We lucked out with Leah!

  Due to a couple of factors (COVID, planning a long-distance wedding) my fiance and I did not get the chance to meet Leah before our wedding day, and had only spoken to her on the phone. We hired her based on a recommendation from our wedding planner, and could not be happier that we did!
  
  Things we loved about Leah:
  1) She was flexible and generous. Because we were not able to do the engagement shoot that was included in our package, she added an extra hour of coverage on our wedding day.
  2) Her energy was exactly what we needed. She was instructive without being bossy or pushy, and didn't get rattled by anything. She genuinely seemed like she was having fun, which put us at ease. There were times when I was getting ready with my bridesmaids and during the wedding when I forgot she was there (in the best way) but when we were getting all the posed wedding party and family shots, she moved things along at exactly the right pace.
  3) She got us. Of course we did some of the classic posed pictures that happen at every wedding, but she also was really helpful in making sure we got pictures that captured who we are as a couple and what was unique and special about our wedding, which was so important to us.
  4) Her work is outstanding. We've only gotten our sneak peek, but I couldn't be happier, more impressed, or excited about our wedding photos. She is incredibly talented and her work blew us away.
  
  I would work with her again in a heartbeat, and would recommend her to anyone getting married. Thank you, Leah!

  Love love love Leah!

  Writing this review was difficult because I struggled with how to adequately express how much I LOVE my wedding photos… and this is just based on the sneak peek! I can’t stop flipping through the photos on my phone, on my computer, or any other screen I have access to. Leah went above and beyond. Her photos are gorgeous and so is her personality. I think I nearly gave her a heart attack when I got tunnel vision and put on my dress while she had stepped out of the room, but Leah recovered like a champ and didn’t skip a beat. My husband and I were equally thrilled with Leah’s associate, Paola (we opted to have a second photographer). Multiple friends and family members have commented to me how lovely and professional both Leah and Paola were. Our wedding was a dream and I’m so glad I get to relive every special moment through the beautiful photos we have of it!

  AMAZING! Would hire again in a heartbeat!

  Leah was an absolute dream to work with on capturing our wedding day. I don’t think we could have chosen a more qualified photographer. She was on it from the moment she arrived and made me feel completely at ease. She captured amazing photos from the ceremony, of our families and us as a couple. She has a contagiously enthusiastic personality and made us both feel at ease immediately. I can’t thank her enough for the AMAZING photos. They came out better than I could have dreamed of. Not only were the pictures amazing but I feel like she captured our true essence of how we are as individuals and as a couple.   Absolutely in love with my wedding photos

  What can I say? Leah was everything I had been looking for in a wedding photographer. Leah was amazing at communication, and extremely flexible when it came to things like adjusting day of timelines/adding additional time. When she arrived the day of she was extremely prepared and organized. After the ceremony we had very limited time in the church to take pictures, and Leah made sure we got every single shot that we wanted, not only quickly but efficiently. When we got to the venue Leah took the time to capture beautiful photos of not only myself and my husband but of the bridal party as well. She also did a fantastic and beautiful job capturing candids throughout the reception. When we got our wedding photos my husband and I were in awe. Not only was she able to capture the special moments between us, but she was able to capture the emotions of every attending the wedding. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

  Years later, still obsessed with our photos!

  If you want a photographer that can allow you to FEEL that special day, over and over, hire Leah.
  
  Leah and I are personal friends, which made it even sweeter that she was able to balance being our guest and our photographer - making us feel comfortable and supported. We’re now approaching 3 years of being married and I still love looking at all of our photos. I feel like I am fully immersed back to that special day.
  
  Leah has a unique way of capturing the day centered around the bride + groom, while also capturing the smaller moments and details too. Her personality is calming, which can be needed when things go awry. Her priority is to honor what the bride + groom prefer, she is never intrusive, and you can sense how much she loves being able to tell the story of your day through her work.

  Beautiful Photography

  Every photo from Leah is absolutely beautiful and my husband and I are not by any means photogenic! She is a true professional and took great shots from all different angles. I love these photos and will cherish them forever.

  Amazing photographer, pleasure to work with!

  Leah was AMAZING! She made us both really comfortable--especially my husband, who is not much of a picture guy. The pictures came out so beautiful, we could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding!

  Wonderful wedding photography experience

  Our experience with Leah was great from the start! Even when I first emailed and met her to go over her photography, she was always so responsive and it felt like being with a friend. She did our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn’t have asked for a more patient, kind, or fun photographer. She made us feel comfortable the entire time and was so wonderful! She was very flexible with our families wanting extra pictures at our reception but still was able to keep us on schedule and unstressed. We absolutely love all our photos, they are beautiful and capture our wedding day perfectly! We could not recommend Leah more!

  BEAUTIFUL photography and a JOY to work with

  Leah is AMAZING! Gorgeous pictures, SO kind and discrete during our wedding day while still ensuring she got tons of photos. As soon as Leah arrived on the wedding day, her expertise and sweet, relaxed and professional nature was apparent. She rolled with the day and got all the photos in while not interfering- felt like having another friend along with us!
  
  We were able to relax and enjoy the day while knowing we were in good hands and special moments were being captured easily and fluidly. The church photos are stunning, formal family/bridal party photos relaxed and natural, and reception photos full of life and perfectly capturing the atmosphere.
  
  We wanted lots of cocktail hour photos of guests mingling (rather than dancing candids) and even though I hardly noticed Leah there, she got tons of AMAZING shots that captured the fun and joy of the day.
  
  Seeing our wedding photos a few weeks later totally brought us back to the day! Each one captures a special moment or person(s) or interaction. Leah has a expert eye and such artistry in the shots she took. We had some formal shots done at the monuments and they are spectacular!
  
  Summary: Leah does BEAUTIFUL photography work and is a JOY to work with on your special day!!

  Fall Outdoor Wedding

  My husband and I would choose Leah a hundred times over! Leah tunes into what matters most and for us that meant capturing the true emotions between us two, the details, and the celebration shared with our family and friends. She communicates well and is punctual in showing up and getting pictures back. She helped us stay on schedule while fulfilling all of our photo requests. Just a plus— Leah eased my nerves the morning of with a sweet, encouraging text to make me feel my best self on my wedding day!

  Leah's a star!

  Our best decision for our wedding, other than marrying each other, was asking Leah to be our photographer! She was responsive, detail-oriented and extremely skilled in her craft. She captured so many special moments that we’ll never forget, thanks to her photos. We would recommend Leah unconditionally!

  Leah was an amazing photographer for our wedding! She made the experience fun and very enjoyable for us and our guests. There is so many beautiful pictures she captured that I will always cherish. She made us feel comfortable and gave us the confidence to get stunning shots. She was very prepared and made the whole experience stress free. Leah is the one to go with! She will make your day feel laid back and natural while getting the most professional pictures.

  Leah was the best! Fun, Stress free and now we have a gorgeous book of memories. She captured every shot we asked for and way more, and I don't know how one person can be in so many places at one time.

  Wonderful!

  Leah and her husband Ross are simply the best! I first met Leah when she photographed my sister's wedding about a year before mine. It was obvious right away what a gem she is! She was able to put my shy sister at ease (not always an easy task) and capture beautiful moments at her wedding.   Passionate, Creative + Flawless wedding photographer

  My husband and I highly recommend Leah for your wedding photo needs. She was organized in her process of understanding our needs (shot lists, look + feel), passionate and inspired in her approach and execution and made the whole process seem seamless and effortless. The most difficult part was picking our favorites! And, we love our leather bound wedding photo album; so much so that we ordered a second one as a gift to my parents. We would work with Leah again on an anniversary party shoot!

  My husband and I highly recommend Leah for your wedding photo needs.   This is our second time having Leah shoot us as a couple- each time has been amazing! She has the knack to capture those special moments like a laugh or a sweet kiss that turn photographs into keepsakes. Her wide range of event and photography experience make her style standout and unbeatable. Her calm spirit is a welcome addition to the craziness of any event.   You know the "Meghan Markle" moment? When she looks up at Prince Harry? We had that moment during our wedding, too. Leah captured it for us. My husband loves the picture and got it printed for his office. Leah was an amazing photographer to work with. She was super responsive. She brought adorable clear dome umbrellas for our wedding day as it was raining. She got at least one candid shot of every guest. I cannot say enough great things about working with Leah! Husband: She was easy to work with, she did not get flustered even when we were in a small space with a lot going on, and she understood our budget.

  Gray Kammera Photography did an unbelievable job photographing our engagement photos and wedding. Leah perfectly captured all the emotions from our special day.   I am so happy we worked with Leah for our engagement and wedding photos. I have never felt like a photogenic person, but I am in love with my wedding pictures, which is such a relief because I was so worried I would look at myself as a bride and feel disappointed. Not with Leah. She found the best light and and angles, captured all of our sweet little moments, the happy tears, the laughter, and all of our guests having a blast. She is easy to work with, so kind, and really just a lovely person to have around on your wedding day. She managed a lot of stressed out personalities with grace and made everything fun and happy. Can't recommend her enough!

  Leah is the absolute best and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision to hire her to capture our wedding! First, her talent is IMMENSE, and, coupled with the fact that she strives to understand what you want our of your photos, it means that you will get fabulous photos of the day. Guys, her work is flawless - she got all the "stock" photos but also managed to capture unique, fun, intimate moments (without us even knowing!) that made us SO happy. (Her day-of assistant was also amazing and caught GREAT shots.) Second, she is the sweetest, warmest, most sincere/likable person ever - this is really important since you spend most of your wedding day with her flying about you!! We thoroughly enjoyed being around Leah and working with her. Bottom line: we really cannot recommend Leah enough if you are having a wedding in DC! She is incredible!!

  Leah is amazing- she is able to make what would normally feel awkward feel totally natural and comfortable. She was so flexible and adaptable to all of our requests and patient with our crazy families. Leah is highly professional and organized, but is such a beautiful creative person and manages to create a perfect balance in this. She is ridiculously talented and was great in communication leading up to the big day, which relieved a lot of stress and expectation. Trust me- you will feel so lucky that you found Leah, she played a huge role in making our wedding feel perfect.
