Leah is beyond wonderful. Not only are her photographs stunning, she is the sweetest human on the planet!! We instantly connected at my sister in law's wedding so she was the first vendor I booked when I got engaged. I had to have her! I cannot recommend Leah enough to shoot your special day. -

When my husband and I first received our photos, our eyes instantly welled up with tears (of joy!). Every part of our day was captured so beautifully by Leah and her team. Photos are priceless; they offer windows into moments we’ll cherish forever. Leah’s artistry allows us to relive these feelings and memories again and again. Everyone on her team was absolutely wonderful to work with, and I cannot recommend Leah enough. -

My husband and I had a fantastic experience working with Leah on both our engagement shoot and subsequent wedding. During both events, she put us at ease, worked hard to capture us "in our element" and not force anything, and was consistently professional, patient, and kind. To top all of that off, she is insanely talented. Somehow, she turned around our preview album in just 2 or so days after our wedding ceremony, and I (who am normally quite picky) loved every single image. Leah balanced the perfect mix of posed and candid photos, and her editing is CHIC. We've received lots of compliments from guests on her style, and more importantly, we have zero regrets about choosing her to document and be by our side during two days in our lives that we'll remember forever. Leah made our experience truly unforgettable. What stood out most to me (the husband) was how she made my wife feel beautiful—not just in the photos, but throughout the entire process. It's one thing to take beautiful pictures, but it's another to make someone feel beautiful, and Leah did both effortlessly.
Our engagement and wedding photos turned out more stunning than we ever imagined. Leah made everything feel easy and natural—never awkward or forced. Her warm personality, genuine excitement, and deep compassion really came through in every shot.
We especially loved the candid moments, the vintage touches, and the timeless black-and-white captures. So many of our friends and family were blown away by the photos and couldn’t stop complimenting them. Leah’s work speaks for itself, and we’re so grateful for the memories she helped us preserve. -

Leah was absolutely amazing to work with! She helped us feel at ease the entire day and captured our raw emotions perfectly. Chill Photographer, Beautiful Photos
We had an excellent experience with Leah as our wedding photographer last year. From the first chat, her relaxed attitude put me at ease. She was responsive, thoughtful, and communicative despite my arranging our calls from overseas dealing with different time zones. Her style was a great fit for me and my husband (who hates staged photos!). She was professional throughout and flexible with last-minute changes (suggesting a great alternative to the DC monuments that fit our post-ceremony schedule perfectly and photographed beautifully on a cloudy day). Her eye for photography is obvious and she executed like the seasoned professional she is on the day. Our guests kept gushing about how seamlessly she moved through the crowd, ensuring we got the shots we wanted and some priceless candids. I especially adore her black and white photos. Her website has been easy to use to scroll through our gallery, order prints, etc. Could not recommend highly enough for those looking for a Washington DC area wedding photographer. -

Absolutely amazing!
Leah was an absolute dream photographer to work with. Due to COVID forcing us to push our wedding date, Leah and I had actually never met before my wedding day! I was nervous, of course, but as soon as we met, I knew I made the right choice by choosing her as our wedding photographer. She contacted us plenty of times before the wedding date and was available to answer any of our questions. On our wedding day she was incredibly calm, but was able to command our large group with ease. During those intimate times during the wedding day, it almost felt like she wasn't even there - but she still managed to capture those moments beautifully. Of course, when we received our sneak peek and final gallery, we were amazed at how beautifully and authentic our pictures were. We are so grateful for you, Leah! -

We had the pleasure of working with Leah twice this past week while hosting a conference for wedding planners in Nashville! Before we even arrived, I knew Leah was the right choice thanks to her quick response times and flexibility in a few changes we had to make. She came and took photos of one of our sessions where the canned lighting was very harsh. She sent sneak peeks that same day* and they looked amazing!! When she joined us next for photos in our hotel, she worked so efficiently that we were able to have time for each of our attendees to grab a couple of new headshots. She helped pose us and make location recommendations. She is a joy to work with and has a great attitude and personality that you NEED for your next event. Take it from a group of 10 wedding planners, hire Leah for your next event! We can't wait to see the full gallery!

If you want a photographer that can allow you to FEEL that special day, over and over, hire Leah.
Leah and I are personal friends, which made it even sweeter that she was able to balance being our guest and our photographer - making us feel comfortable and supported. We’re now approaching 3 years of being married and I still love looking at all of our photos. I feel like I am fully immersed back to that special day.
Leah has a unique way of capturing the day centered around the bride + groom, while also capturing the smaller moments and details too. Her personality is calming, which can be needed when things go awry. Her priority is to honor what the bride + groom prefer, she is never intrusive, and you can sense how much she loves being able to tell the story of your day through her work.
I have recommended her to friends, one of which was married last month. Leah did a phenomenal job capturing their unique style and personalities. -

What can I say? Leah was everything I had been looking for in a wedding photographer. Leah was amazing at communication, and extremely flexible when it came to things like adjusting day of timelines/adding additional time. When she arrived the day of she was extremely prepared and organized. After the ceremony we had very limited time in the church to take pictures, and Leah made sure we got every single shot that we wanted, not only quickly but efficiently. When we got to the venue Leah took the time to capture beautiful photos of not only myself and my husband but of the bridal party as well. She also did a fantastic and beautiful job capturing candids throughout the reception. When we got our wedding photos my husband and I were in awe. Not only was she able to capture the special moments between us, but she was able to capture the emotions of every attending the wedding. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! -

My husband and I would choose Leah a hundred times over! Leah tunes into what matters most and for us that meant capturing the true emotions between us two, the details, and the celebration shared with our family and friends. She communicates well and is punctual in showing up and getting pictures back. She helped us stay on schedule while fulfilling all of our photo requests. Just a plus— Leah eased my nerves the morning of with a sweet, encouraging text to make me feel my best self on my wedding day!
