We had such a fantastic experience working with Leah! She shot both our engagement photos and our wedding day, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera.
On our wedding day, she kept things running smoothly and helped us stay on schedule, but was also so easygoing and flexible when plans shifted. We also loved that she had a second shooter. It’s really cool that one moment in time is being captured from multiple angles.
Our engagement & wedding photos are absolutely stunning!
We can’t recommend Leah enough! -

Amazing Experience
Leah and her husband Kurt photographed our wedding on September 16th, 2023. They also did our engagement photos the year prior. On both occasions they were amazing. They were professional, great at making us feel relaxed in front of the camera, and the photos came out absolutely beautifully. We are so happy we got to work with Leah for our special day. She captured it perfectly! -

Perfectly captured our day
Photography was something that was really important to me when planning our wedding and Leah's photos really caught my eye with how natural they were and I loved how they were edited. Only made better with how easy Leah was to work with. She gave great advice, listened to my wishlist and kept everything running smoothly on the day. She was so communicative, set expectations and delivered our photos when she said she would. We had her do both our engagement photos, as well as our wedding, and we are SO happy we did. They are memories and photos that we will cherish forever! -

Leah was awesome to work with! We wanted someone that could capture the big moments as well as the little moments. One thing we noticed about some galleries during our initial search was that many photos looked forced or staged. It was important to us to get someone that also captured those candid moments. Leah can do it all! She did a great job directing everyone for the posed pictures but also was great at catching people just having a good time. Her husband assists her so we actually had two cameras going at all times. Her communication is quick and available. She worked seamlessly with our schedule and gave tips on the planned photoshoot time. 10/10 would hire her again for vow renewals in 40 years if she's still at it! -

Leah & her husband are AMAZING! We met Leah for our engagement photoshoot in the Columbia Gorge & fell in love with her! She is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet & has an amazing eye for natural photography (which is what drew me to her)! On our wedding day, her husband & her we’re all over getting pictures of everyone, never missing a moment! We are sooo thankful for them & will be using them for our other life adventures in the future ♥️ -

Leah and her husband were excellent wedding photographers. They were very easy to work with, very prepared for all situations, and great communicators. On the day of the wedding, they were so calming and happy and really felt like part of the family! And we have just gotten the photos back and we could not be happier with the quality of them. Leah captured all of the moments I was hoping would be captured, and then some! She had great instincts and a style that we loved. Timeless, professional
Leah and her husband absolutely blew away my expectations for our wedding day. My husband and I were looking for a wedding photographer whose style was timeless and natural. We wanted our wedding photos to still be in style many many years from now, rather than dated with sepia-tone. Leah absolutely delivered what we were looking for. From the beginning she was very responsive, organized, and affordable (in my personal opinion she is a hidden-gem and could charge much more for the quality and artistic ability she provides!). She offered amazing input about the flow of the wedding day and where to fit in pictures with family, first look with my father, wedding party, etc. She really is an expert in how to make weddings flow with photography as naturally as possible. Yet she still met my requests of certain must-have photo opportunities. Not to mention, Leah and her husband had a smile on their face the ENTIRE day and night despite the unexpected 106+ degree weather. Leah, you provided us with photos of our special day we will be able to cherish for a lifetime. We had such a hard time choosing which to frame around our house, that we ordered nearly all the rest in a wedding photo album. I could not recommend Leah enough. Leah, thank you thank you thank you. We are blown away. -

We say it time and time again - hiring Leah was by far the best wedding decision we made (other than choosing each other of course). Leah happened to be a part of our getting together, although she never knew it, and had mutual friends with us both from different seasons of life.
I loved the high quality of Leah's work, her timeless style, her joyful and authentic personality, and her heart to serve first and foremost.
I was pretty picky about my vision for an engagement shoot. I asked Leah if we could hike out to a particular spot. It wasn't the right time of the year so she lovingly redirected me to some different options - some of which even she was unfamiliar with but willing to offer. We ended up choosing one of the unknowns that required a little bit of driving. We loved getting to hang out with Leah and her husband, Kurt. We had a blast of a time and left just thinking "okay, but can we be friends after our wedding please??!" We knew right then and there we had made the best decision.
When it came to our wedding, we are both the first in our families to get married and didn't have a wedding planner. Planning a wedding in under 7 months is already stressful let alone during Covid. Leah was so helpful to offer advice when we asked along the way, and help guide us through the process as her photography clients. When the big day came, Leah kept us calm, collected, and overjoyed (even when silly wedding hiccups came along the way).
We truly love Leah, her heart, and her quality of work and cannot recommend her enough. Hiring her just might be the best wedding decision you make too. ;) -

Leah was amazing for our engagement shoot and mini ceremony (due to covid). Prior to covid, when we were planning a large ceremony and reception, she made time to meet with us and helped us put together a day of timeline. She is very personable, flexible, and does an all around amazing job! -

A Vendor I'd Choose Over and Over Again
Leah & her husband (her second shooter the day of our wedding) were terrific! I am so happy that I found her on Wedding Wire. Leah was easy to talk to, and made herself available leading up to the wedding. We were able to have a virtual meeting, as our schedules did not allow us to meet up in person, and by the time the wedding day came I felt like I already knew her so well. On the wedding day, she was the glue that held it all together! She took charge of the chaos and many family members and friends. I didn't have to worry about making sure people were where they needed to be, and I am so grateful for that! I was able to take it all in, as she coordinated the different groups of people for different shoots. We received a sneak peek of our photos the week after the wedding that gave us a glimpse of what was to come! And man, did she deliver! Our wedding photos were stunning! My husband and I could not have been more impressed with the quality of her work, and the fact that we were happy with all of our photos. Leah was amazing, her personality and her work is something that every bride deserves to have on their wedding day. After all, besides your husband - the photos are the only thing from the wedding day you get to keep! ;) -

Stunning Job!
Leah (and her second photographer Tifanie) did an amazing job! We loved her style of photography and her work ethic. Most of the time we barely knew she was there (in a good way!) and we love the candid moments she captured along with the beautiful portraits she took of us and our family. We are still getting compliments about how incredible our pictures are! She gave us a gift that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. -

Fantastic!
I can't say enough great things about Leah! She did our engagement and wedding photos and they turned out beautifully! She was so easy to work with and super helpful in creating our day of timeline and keeping everyone on track the day of the wedding. My husband and I both felt a little awkward about having our photos taken, but Leah made us feel so relaxed and we really enjoyed laughing and joking with her. It was more like hanging out with a friend who just happens to be taking tons of pictures of you :) I'm so thankful we found Leah and have these beautiful photos to remember our big day! -

Leah was an absolute mastermind behind the camera! I stumbled across Leah's page before she moved to the Cincinnati area and fell in love with how natural her photos looked - no sultry stares between bride and groom, no sweeping cityscapes with bride and groom tucked in the corner, and no doctored lighting. Her photos just captured the day. And it was such a lovely day! Leah was so relaxing and comfortable around us and our families. It was like having a friend of ours take pictures the whole time - she just slid in like a guest at the wedding! We loved how she just captured the day and the people. We couldn't be happier. -

Booking a wedding photographer was the most stressful part of planning a wedding for us. I spent so much time researching. It was hard for me to just hand over responsibility of catching every single special moment of our day. But once we met with Leah all of that stress evaporated. It was so nice to have once less thing to worry about! -

Ashley Sent on 01/17/2018Leah goes above and beyond wedding day photographers' protocol -- Of course, we expect the big day will be met with communication challenges and overall stress, and I was not the exception for such a scenario! Not only did Leah liaise between the bridal party and families, but she made sure her partner was on the same page. As some of us were fretting over who needs to be where, when, Leah calmly and professionally orchestrated the capturing of the best moments among over 200 people all day. The quality of her finished product is outstanding - the album my husband and I received in the form of a rustic gift box enclosing a wooden USB exceeded my expectations, and the images took our breath away. However, when it comes to Leah's services, the thing I will honestly hold the most dear is one small moment during the big day where she read what must have been an expression of exasperation and, dropping everything, put her hand upon my shoulder, asking, "what do you need?".

We received all of our photos within the timeline she quoted and we could not be happier with how they turned out. She is extremely talent at what she does!!!
