    So beautiful!

    This place is amazing. Beautiful gardens, vintage furniture and the sweetest owner ever. I recently coordinated an event here and loved every minute of it.

    I love this venue and wish I could get married here every year! Everything was wonderful from the venue to the owner. Love!!!! And I highly recommend booking with Virginia at Le San Michele!

    I cannot say enough about my experience at Le San Michele! The space is perfectly decorated and flows wonderfully. All of my guests were in ah of the layout and setup. Despite the cold, we had a wonderful time and can't thank the staff enough for their hospitality and attentiveness.

    I am so glad that we had decided to go with Le San Michele! Virginia was so sweet and accommodating. She was there for me when I was not prepared for rain that, of course, was forecast the weekend of my wedding.

    The whole wedding was a dream, and everyone kept telling me how beautiful the venue was. If I had to do it again (which thank goodness I don't have to anymore!), I would definitely pick Le San Michele in a heartbeat!

    My wife and I had such a great time getting married here. Usually I let her decide on everything and roll with it but when I saw this place i really enjoyed it since I love the outdoors. Great choice!

    Le San Michele was a great place to get married in! The grounds are beautiful, as are the furniture and decorations. Virginia was very helpful and accommodating. She suggested a few vendors and made sure everything was set up how we wanted it. The day of our wedding ended up being a bit chilly, which was a bit stressful since we had not gotten a tent and it was too late to rent heaters, but Virginia was very accommodating, suggesting we place the buffet and bar indoors and making sure our guests could warm up by the fireplace when they needed a break. It was a beautiful wedding and all of our guests commented on how great the venue was.

    Le San Michele was the first and the last venue I looked at for my wedding. I went on a site visit and I knew it was perfect. Virginia was absolutely wonderful to work with. Her house and gardens are an absolute dream. My wedding day was amazing and having it at Le San Michele is one of the main reasons why!

    We don't even know where to begin. Thank you Virginia and Chuck for being so amazing. We fell in love with this venue from the minute we saw it online. We lived in Austin for several years and were in the middle of transitioning back home to Plano, Texas when we selected this venue. No other venue can compare to the charm of Le San Michele. We planned an outdoor wedding in October expecting fall weather- unfortunately, the weather turned and Virginia was beyond helpful with all questions and concerns we had of getting a tent. Her ease and positive attitude made securing a tent for the venue a breeze. We could not have asked for a better venue or owners to work with on the most important day of our lives. All vendors that day were incredible. Thank you so much Virginia and Chuck- Your home is truly one of a kind.

    Le San Michele is awesome. Chuck and Virginia (the owners) are awesome. Everything about this place is awesome. The gardens are beautiful & they take great care to bring out the beauty of the Texas landscape. Nestled in the little town of Buda, TX, Le San Michele is truly a hidden gem. It's only about 15 minutes from South Austin - a fact we took advantage of for both accommodations for our guests and my bachelor party. The owners are really easy to work with and will do whatever you need to make your day special. While equally beautiful during the day and at night, the atmosphere transforms as the sun sets giving way to scenery that will make you think you're in a small Tuscan villa! My wife and I couldn't recommend this place any more highly!

    This venue is absolutely beautiful. The owners are awesome and it was so affordable. I couldn't believe the price they charge. This venue is definitely one of a kind.

    Amazing venue and Virginia is a pleasure to work with! The grounds are beautiful, especially at night with everything lit up. The venue comes with chairs and tables (even for your vendors), so it really helps save money in that area.

    If you want night time magic, with incredible lighting galore....Le San Michele is your venue! This is not for anyone who wishes to buy a package. This is a gorgeous, unique, hidden treasure!! Our guests are still talking about our wedding and how incredibly gorgeous the grounds, the chateau, the gardens, and all were. Virginia, the owner, is a Texas sweetheart, a real professional, and now, a very dear friend of ours. She is the most wonderful person to work with and really listens to your desires and your vision for what you want out of your special day. Day time is gorgeous at the Venus also, but night time is magic, with chandeliers and twinkle lights everywhere. Virginia has very high end garden furniture and all tables and chairs are included in the price of your rental, so you are not stuck renting tacky plastic chairs. As the bride, I had so many treasured moments from meetings with Virginia and walking the fountains and gardens, to watching my guests be seated for the wedding as I watched from the window upstairs in the bridal suite! There is no other venue such as this anywhere and you will feel the incredible energy from the moment you walk onto this majestic property! We recommend Le San Michele for any of your special events. It is truly, the most special venue in the Texas Hill Country!! We will never forget our incredible day <3

    Le San Michele was perfect for our ceremony and reception. The house and gardens are absolutely gorgeous and provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding. Lighting, tables and chairs are already included, which is one of the things that makes this venue such an amazing value. Virginia is easy to work with and gets things done! Dinner under the trees and chandeliers was particularly magical. Many of our guests have told us how much they loved the venue, and we are so glad that we chose it for our day!

    Le San Michele is a lovely venue - it offers elegance, whimsy, and beauty. My daughter chose the venue because of all three attributes above, and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. The grounds themselves are enough for decor, though we embellished with whimsy and a touch of eclecticism. It was a lovely afternoon and evening with both ceremony and reception held on the grounds. Virginia, the owner, was more than helpful in the planning stages with suggestions for vendors, how to set the grounds to provide a good "flow," and did this with friendliness and interest in all we wanted to do. Her replies to my questions were prompt, she offered solutions to different issues that came up along the way, and was a calming influence on the day of the wedding. From start to finish, the day was beautiful and my daughter and our new son-in-law were thrilled with the outcome. The vistas in the various gardens are perfect for pictures, and the grounds so accommodating to whatever style of event you want to have. I highly recommend Le San Michele... and Virginia, I thank you.

    I think San Michele is one of the best kept secrets of wedding venues. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful! The house is amazing and the gardens are breathtaking. Virginia has a lot of tables and chairs available to use, which definitely helped a lot with our budget! She also has all kinds of dishes and serving-ware available to rent for a small fee. It worked out great because she already has all these wonderful decor options that coordinate perfectly with the venue. We receive so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful our wedding was, and I think that was in large part due to the gorgeous venue. Highly recommended!

    Beautiful event space. Very elegant while also unique. The environment evokes the idea that you could be anywhere in the world, Greece, France, etc. Mrs. Fleming is very attentive and willing to help with whatever is needed. She makes her home- your home. I literally didn't have to order flowers b/c her grounds supplied such a beautiful landscape- it just wasn't necessary. I highly recommend Le San Michele for any event - wedding, shower, reception, even high profile meetings.

    I could not recommend a venue or an event professional more highly than Le San Michele and Virginia Fleming. The grounds are astoundingly gorgeous, vibrant, authentic and quite adaptable for a fun and thoroughly unique experience. Virginia goes above and beyond for her clients. Her warm, winning personality at once welcomes guests, melts anxieties and orchestrates the best night of your life.

    Glad we picked this place, it's beautiful and she even connected me with the bride whom was getting married the day before so we could split the cost of extra rentals! Everyone always ask me where I got married!
    I'm even considering renting it out for a lunch party one day!

    I feel like the venue is one of the hardest decisions to make about your special day. There are so many factors to keep in mind while choosing your venue. Le San Michele is a beautiful outdoor venue and the property is gorgeous. The venue already has a beautiful ambiance and decor about it, the beautiful gardens, fountains and lanterns/chandeliers hanging from the trees. Virginia is the owner and she was a blessing to work with, she has a great calm energy about her and was so helpful throughout the planning process. You must go visit the venue if you are looking for beautiful garden wedding. We would not have changed one thing about our wedding day, it was perfect!! I might even have another type of party there (baby shower, engagement shower, etc...) thanks!!

    Le San Michele is a beautiful venue in Buda, TX. We had our wedding reception there at sunset. The lights, the gardens, the house, everything was beautiful. Virginia was very helpful and responsive when I emailed her questions. She was great to work with and made sure everything was set up just right. I would highly recommend this venue. All our guests (and we too!) are still talking about how beautiful it was.

    Le San Michele is a beautiful venue and the flowers are different every season. Our biggest issues were flexibility. For example, we could not be at the venue earlier than an hour before the wedding and we had to be gone by 10pm, even though our contract from an outside agency stated we would have until midnight. This was never resolved with us, mainly to the strict rules of the owner. The coordintor was still putting out decorations as the guests arrived because of this, too. Additionally, the owner sat inside, on the couch, for the entire wedding. When I walked downstairs to see my dad for the first time, she was there sitting. When we cut the cake, she was still sitting there. When I went inside to greet guests, she was still there...

    We still loved the venue but those are two issues and dislikes about choosing Le San Michele.

    Le San Michele's reply:

    I'm so sorry there was any confusion about the number of hours you rented and number of hours you had for setup time. We publish our rates on our website, along with our contract, so that people will know what they are. The contract for your wedding came through, as you said a third party company, which provided a package rental for your wedding at Le San Michele. In the contract I received from them was for a 6 hour rental at our regular 6 hour rental rate. We are flexible if guests wish to rent more than 6 hours, but we have an additional hourly rate charge. Had I known you wanted an 8 hour rental, your contract and rental rate could have been adjusted.
    We allow vendors delivering perishable items, like flowers and cakes, to do an indoor delivery the day of of your wedding. We include 6 hours of outdoor time on our grounds for setup, takedown, deliveries, pickups, decorating, and outdoor rehearsal. This time does not have to be contiguous, and normally gives vendors plenty of time to get everything setup before guests arrive.
    When I met with the company representative of the company you rented your wedding package through, I explained that I would be here throughout the event in my chair, available if anything should be needed during your event. This is my standard practice, as Le San Michele is also our home.
    If I had known you had any concerns or problems with any of this before your wedding, I don’t think you would be writing this review. As it was, I was only able to meet you briefly when you arrived for your rehearsal the day before, and when you arrived for your event, which did not give us time to have any conversations about your wishes or your expectations. I feel early communication is very important to assure that everyone understands our contract, what everyone’s needs and expectations are, and what is going to be provided, along with our rules and regulations.
    Our goal is for guests to have a great experience at Le San Michele.

    AMAZING! The property is beautiful, and it was the perfect wedding! Whether it's an evening wedding (ours was 7:30pm to 1AM) or an afternoon wedding - it's the best venue hands down. The lighting is precious, and the small details are impossible to beat. Virginia is constantly adding to her property so it just gets prettier each year. Our wedding was in late June, and surprisingly the weather turned out perfectly. Our ceremony was in front of the water fountain, and only our judge was miked - it was perfect! We had a single violinist for the ceremony, and it filled the air without problems. We had a DJ for the reception to the left of the house (if you're looking at it towards the house from the backyard), a hookah lounge under the lantern tree area, buffet next to the pond, and our bar was setup between the hookah lounge and the DJ. You might think it impossible to fill this beautiful area, but it's magnificent whether it's filled or not because of the great decor provided.

    Make sure that you allot enough time for any rehearsals, getting ready at the property (best option since there is nothing nearby), and include time for setup and cleanup - she does distinguish between indoor and outdoor hours, but don't worry it is enough and cost effective. Thanks to this venue I will have amazing memories!

    We wanted so badly to like this venue but we just couldn't. We went by for a tour and they mentioned there was a wedding the night before. They showed us the inside and the owner mentioned we could use the tables inside for our cakes, gifts, etc but we weren't allowed to move any of her decor. It's because it is their home that they are living in! The groom quarters is there sons old room full of junk. And in the kitchen area there was a large bowl filled with old mail and moldy bread! That is the last thing I was my guests seeing at a wedding. The Vermont chairs were also very low and narrow so it would be difficult for any tall or wider guests. Wish we could have used this venue ??
