  The Challenger Reception Hall was one of the best choices of vendors (if not the best) I've made for my wedding! I can't even begin to explain how beautiful and classy this venue is, and on top of it all, the service and food are simply impeccable! Joe Russo is very easy to work with and responds to questions and concerns in a very reasonable time. As most of almost newlyweds to be, we were very uncertain and insecure with some details, but the Challenger staff does a great job in reassuring you that you are in good hands! I had friends and family coming from Europe and all over the States, and everyone was simply amazed with the beautiful venue and had NOTHING to complain about when it came to the food! They even asked for a second serving! The cocktail hour and sweet table were some of the best I've ever seen or tasted, everything was fresh and delicious! The service in the bridal suite was also impeccable, as they made sure no one was missing anything and made sure we had lots of the bites served at the cocktail hour! I would recommend this venue to any couple, having visited over 8-9 of them in the Montreal and surrounding area, I am 10000% sure I have picked the best one in all aspects!

  If I could describe in one word the experience I had with Le Challenger it would be "reliable". Every time I had questions, doubts or concerns I would always receive a clear and fast reply from them. The staff is very professional and I heard great things from my guests about the quality of the food. The service was impeccable and I had no issues on my wedding day, the whole night went smoothly and it all happened so fast! If you wish to organize your own wedding (like I did) or have someone else taking care of the details for you, this is the place to go!
  
  PS: Lots of parking space.

  We wanted to thank you for everything you did for us. Everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, everyone was complimenting us. From the pasta, to the meat, which was cooked to perfection, to the sweet table. All I can saw is wow! Everyone was raving about it. The staff went above and beyond our expectations. The service was impeccable. Everyone was so friendly and nice and extremely helpful.

  Where on earth to start, Le Challenger is just absolutely stunning; it was everything I was looking for in my venue beautiful inside and out. But I don’t just pick a place because of the look; I needed to trust the person who was going to be there on the day. I had a Meeting with Joe 2 years ago, he listen to everything we wanted and made sure we got it, I hadn’t asked all my questions because I had another appointment but I sent him a long point form e-mail asking him everything my wedding planner asked. Joe took the time to answer every single question, and still told me if I had anything else to him know. Joe won my trust and we booked with him, I met with a lot of halls and he was the only one that looked at me, answered my questions, and made time for us without answering phone calls in between. The day of my wedding was a perfect day, the staff incredible, the food out of this world, the room was exactly as I imagined it would be. Let’s just say Joe delivered! I hope I get to go to many more events at Le Challenger because it doesn’t disappoint! My guests still tell me how the food and service was amazing, best wedding they’ve been too.

  We are so glad we chose Le Challenger to hold our wedding reception. The room was gorgeous, well maintained and very nicely decorated (which makes it much easier to adapt your own wedding decos to the room). The staff was so professional, we received so many good comments from our guests about how amazing they got served during the reception. As a bride who did not have a wedding planner, the team at the Challenger helped me keep everything on track and made sure our evening was perfect!
  I would recommend them to anybody!!!

  The challenger was amazing for our wedding! The hall is beautiful and up to date, and the staff was more then accommodating. There was even a professional seamstress to help when I ripped my train! The grounds are perfect for pictures with a lot of green space in the back. there is also a beautiful park with a pond, bridge and waterfall only 5 minute drive away. I would absolutely recommend this hall to anyone!

  I had heard good things about this venue. Things were going well until a month before my wedding.
  I asked to have the bridal room at 8 am as I was having makeup/ hair come to the venue. The manager told me that they had a party the night before and that it wasn't fair to ask his staff to come in so early. I couldn't believe he was asking me to rearrange MY plans on the day of MY wedding to accommodate HIS staff.
  It took nearly two weeks for the manager to get back to me about a rehearsal. On the date of the rehearsal, no one from the venue was there to guide us and the room was cluttered so we had to re-organize the room in order to create a mock aisle. When I sent the manager an email about it, he called me right away and apologized.
  Day of the wedding- we arrive and no one is there. No staff, no nothing. The florist comes at 10 am to deliver the flowers and he can’t get into the reception room because the doors are locked and no one is to be found. I had to run around the building with my hair in rollers looking for someone.
  My parents paid extra to rent EVERY room in the venue and we found out they booked another event anyhow. My father yelled at the manager like I have never seen him yell before. They then moved the other party to the adjoining restaurant, and after that everyone was super nice, literally waiting on us hand and foot.
  I will tell you one thing though: the place is GORGEOUS (the reception room is mostly windows and overlooks the golf course). The food was also incredible- we had lamb and my guests couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Also, it was less pricey than a lot of similar venues.
  Overall, my actual wedding turned out perfectly and went off without a hitch. However, I would not recommend this venue as the stress in the morning (for me and my parents) was not worth it and you shouldn’t have to yell at a venue in order for them to treat you properly, especially when you are paying them a lot of money.
