    Robyn creates beautiful cakes and is very on top of current wedding trends. Her work reminds me of the beautiful wedding blogs I used to plan! Working with her was easy and delicious!

    THAT...CAKE...WAS...AMAZING!!! Our venue staff was even asking if they could try the cake everyone was talking about. Thankfully we over ordered because there was absolutely none left after our guests had two pieces and the venue staff got their hands on some slices. She is very professional and knows what she is doing. All her cakes are to die for and look too perfect to eat. Her cakes of course come at a price but don't worry you won't be left disappointed.

    Robin did an AMAZING job on our wedding cake. We were not really sure what we wanted when we met with her and she ended up creating something that fit perfectly with our wedding theme and beyond. She was very flexible with meeting times with us and always kept us in the loop. Did we mention her cakes not only looking great, but taste AMAZING as well. Many of our guests still tell us how much they loved the cake. We highly recommend Robin and Le Cake. You won't be disappointed.

    We had the hardest time finding a cake, looking locally and on the web. Walked into an event and my mom and I both looked at the most beautiful cake we had ever seen, and said "want that, will have that, what budget?".

    I called Robin, the cake designer, and turns out we could have that cake and still keep our budget intact. I am putting off the cake until the last possible moment so it can be seen by all guests, multiple times. The samples were most, almost juicy, without looking wet, and still remaining fluffy. Each forkful was like an edible sweet sponge. When pressed with a fork, it held together without falling into crumbs. My fiance rarely eats sweets. He ate all three cupcakes.

    Great wedding cake by Robin at Le Cake! We had all Vanilla Almond, her most popular flavor, and it was a hit! The cake itself was gorgeous and she executed our design beautifully! The only thing I would do differently would be to have buttercream instead of fondant. The fondant looked great, but it ended up being a bit too thick on the cake for me. You will really enjoy working with Robin and her cakes!

    Robin is the BEST, hands down! I originally met her at a bridal fair and was blown away by her design and even more by the taste of her cake. She did our wedding cake in 2008 and we received so many compliments from our friends and family. The Vanilla Almond cake is my favorite, but the guests couldn't say enough about the Chocolate Rum cake. I told her what I had in mind as far as the design and she exceeded my expectations. She also made us our anniversary cake and recently made our daughters Baptism cake. I'm definitely a LeCake customer for life!

    Perfect cakes every time!

    Robin has made more than one cake for me; not only wedding but other special occasion cakes. I can honestly say that, without exception, they are delicious and beautiful and Robin is always a pleasure to work with. She cares about her customers as well as the quality of her cakes. I saw the one negative review here and that person comes across as vindictive and mean-spirited. There is no conceit, ever, and no bragging. She wants every customer to be thrilled with the cake she makes for them. I know I have been every time.

    Our cake was absolutely gorgeous and it tasted amazing. She was very flexible and easy to work with. We did 3 flavors, the vanilla almond, chocolate mocha, and orange cream. They were all so great, I couldn't decide on a favorite. I highly recommend her cakes!

    I gave Robin a picture of the cake I wanted and she duplicated it exactly. It was wonderful and the talk of the reception!!!

    Robin made an absolutely spectacular cake for us. The cake was something I was struggling with because to me, a cake either looks good or it doesn't.... I didn't have really strong opinions on what I wanted. I decided that I liked one of her display cakes, and we went through it and customized it until it was something that fit our colors and tastes. We wound up with a very unique cake that looked and tasted awesome! You can't go wrong with Robin's vanilla almond flavor; definitely one of the best cakes I've ever had.

    All wedding cakes are expensive, so you might as well have one that tastes great!! Le Cake was AMAZING!!!! BEAUTIFUL CAKES! SOOO YUMMY! Affordable as wedding cakes go (even cheaper than Hy-Vee quoted me!)

    Robin makes the BEST wedding cakes hands down! We honestly believe that was the best wedding cake we have ever had. We went with the vanilla almond for 2 layers and the other two were lemon cake with raspberry filling. I am glad we ordered such a large cake because we were told after the wedding that many people had two pieces because they liked it so much!
    I also like that we didn't have to keep the top layer of our cake for our anniversary, she is going to make us a fresh one in a year!
    The only thing that was difficult was that we had to order all of the jewels for the cake even though she showed us exactly which one to get, it couldn't just be added to our price of the cake. This was only an issue because we live 45 minutes away from Le Cake so having to take a trip just to drop off the jewel bands was a little inconvenient.
    Other than that everything was wonderful. We loved the look of it and are excited for our one year when we can really enjoy the cake instead of having to quickly eat a piece before everyone went back for seconds!

    A horrendous egotistical owner!

    My wife and I get a cake in the winter every year. We ran across thisplace and decided we’d give them a try this year. This is the review you want to read.

    My wife was on speaker phone with Robin, the owner, so I could hear the conversation if I wanted to ask anything.
    Robin is hands down the most conceited, egotistical, impertinent, person I have ever had the displeasure of talking to. She should be in the Guinness book of world records for this.

    When discussing the design of the cake that we wanted my wife was repeatedly told that she was “wrong" and "nobody" would want a cake to look like that.
    Robin goes on to say things like, "My cakes are the best and people from all over come to buy my cakes" and " My cakes are magazine quality and are expensive because they look perfect".
    She just repeats how great her cakes are when she's not telling us her life problems or complaining about how we want our cake to look. Telling us your life problems is very unprofessional by the way.

    Robin continuously tried to add/change things that we didn’t want because she didn’t like our design.
    When my wife mentioned she didn’t want this or that sometimes Robin would reply with “Well I’m a PRO and PROS do things my way.
    She also refused to do any decorations in frosting due to her not wanting them to crack and make her cake look bad. Interesting, we’ve never had frosting from other bakeries crack.

    When discussing if she could do some of the decorations we are wanting done “her way”, she sends us a pic of a previous cake she made proving she can do it. It was nothing like we were asking and when we brought that up, she got a bigger attitude.
    She tells us that maybe we should just go somewhere else. So, she tells customers to go elsewhere if she doesn’t get her way. Remarkable.

    Robin then tells us," If you still want one of my cakes you need to do a cake testing. That’s $40 and you get 6 different flavors.” She says she usually doesn't charge for a cake testing for smaller cakes but she's going to charge us for one.

    Now wait a minute. We know what kind of cake flavor we want, and we know how we want it decorated. Robin goes on to tell us if we want one of her cakes, she will do the designing of it, and we can pick between three of her designs.

    Well at this point the entire situation is laughable. We get to hear our design isn’t good enough, we get told basically it's her way or the highway, we get to hear about her life problems, and we get to see her try to take as much money from us as possible.

    We ask her for a price estimate on the cake we want even though at this point due to her rudeness wed never get a cake here. Brace yourselves!

    For a 10" single white cake with just a molded fondant pattern on the side and NOTHING ELSE ON THE CAKE the price came to $323 including the cake testing. Again, that price is for noting on top, as she said we be charged per decoration.

    OUR WEDDING CAKE DIDN’T COST THAT MUCH!

    But wait there’s more, she let something slip on the phone I imagine she didn’t mean to say. When talking about the price she tells us that the reason she will be giving us this plain cake "CHEAP" is because the mold she uses for the fondant pattern we want is quick and easy for her to make. I don’t care if someone uses a mold, but hearing her say how easy it was to make is what got to me.

    I’ve noticed Robin has gotten google to remove her negative reviews. When we started talking to her, she had around 17 reviews, and a few were about how rude she was. Those have since been removed. She clearly doesn’t want potential customers to know what kind of person she is. I expect her to lie to get this review removed too.

    If you are desperate enough to get a cake from this place, make sure you get what you want not what SHE wants.
    Also go ahead and look at pics of her cakes, they do have flaws. Remember she charges a fortune for her “perfect cakes”. Wedding cakes must cost thousands here. The average price of a wedding cake is $500 for anyone who wants to know.
    I will never recommend this place!
