My husband and I were more than happy having Chris and the Lazy Farmer team cater our wedding. Right from the start, Chris was easy to work with offering multiple quotes and options for us to customize our menu. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. During the tasting, Chris mentioned that our guests would rave about his honey fried chicken appetizer. He was not wrong. As if our guests were prompted, everyone mentioned how delicious the honey fried chicken apps were. The rest of the food was no exception. To this day, guests still mention how good the mashed potatoes were. We got many comments from our guests that the food was the best wedding food they ever had. There was plenty of food for our guests and everyone left full and happy. I would highly recommend Chris and his team. -

Chris's food is simply amazing. Several of our guests told us that this was the best food they ever had at a wedding, and we have to agree.
We got married at an organic farm, and the owner of the farm is very picky about who can work there. After the wedding he told us how amazing Chris was- and that he was thrilled by how respectful his entire team was.
We definitely recommend using the lazy farmer- you won't be disappointed. -

The food was amazing in every respect; it was fresh, served hot, cooked to perfection....the guests could not stop raving about the food!! Chris and his staff were easy to work with and there were no hidden fees or surprises. We never had a formal "tasting" so choosing the Lazy Farmer was somewhat of a risk; we could not be more pleased!!! -
User2358014 Sent on 10/08/2015Chris and his team were fantastic. He was able to bring his food truck quite along way and cater for 100 guests at our wedding. WE did BBQ w/ pulled pork, BBQ chicken legs, BBQ tempeh and VT mushrooms, and wonderful sides. We had the meal family style and everything was hot and delicious. Chris also did late night food from the truck (tacos, bratwurst, and fries) for people who stayed to camp, AND brunch in the morning. He is extremely professional and his food was absolutely delicious. He sources great ingredients and was willing to come up with a great menu that everyone at the wedding enjoyed. Hands down the best food I've had in a long time, let alone at a wedding. I would recommed Chris as a caterer to anyone and can't wait to eat some of his food again when in the Burlington area. -
User2362404 Sent on 10/12/2015My husband and I cannot say enough about Chris and his crew. We were wed over labor day weekend and had about 80 guests that were catered for. The food was incredible and made our day just perfect. Food is the most important thing for us and our expectations were met and beyond. Chris is easy to work with, responsive and flexible - there were no issues or headaches. We wish you all the best as you build your business and will treasure our wedding day and how special you helped to make it!!! I wish we lived closer so I could enjoy the falafel for often - so good!!!!! -

It was an incredibly hard decision since I love food and know that most of my guests expected me to choose someone fabulous. I felt incredibly lucky to have found Chris and his team. His menu options were varied, yet approachable. All my guests raved about the food which made my day that much more special. -

We live in France but were going to get married upstate NY. So we had to organize everything through the web.
We chose Lazy Farmer because we wanted something fresh, local very good but not posh : it was pic-nic style !
We wrote each other a lot : telling him what kind of food we wanted ; getting quick answers with clever ideas and several quotes.
When we finally met, a few hours before the party, we knew that everything was perfect on paper but we had not clue of how it actually would be...
It turned out to be perfect : they (Chris and the 2 girls with him) did a wonderful job. It was fresh, tasty and beautifull. Moreover, they were really nice and friendly.
We're so happy to have found Lazy Farmer on the net. We hope to help those who are looking for a caterer to make a good choice !

User2677692 Sent on 07/07/2016Lazy Farmer was great for our 100 person guest list! Chris was helpful with planning and figuring out a menu to fit the event, as well as different dietary needs. The food was AMAZING! Everything was fresh, tasted great, and was always available on our buffet for the guests. The staff working during the wedding were so friendly and checked in throughout the night to make sure everything was going how we planned. We kept our menu simple with sliders, tacos, and creamies served out of the food trailer, but we still had an incredible amount of food and no one went hungry. Such an amazing quantity and quality, for a really affordable price!
