Stop looking and hire Catherine! You won't regret it :)

Catherine was a dream to work with. To start, I know nothing about flowers and was constantly tweaking my ideas for florals and what I wanted for all aspects of the day. She handled all the back and forth of adjustments with grace and clearly communicated to me that I could continue to change my mind up until a specific date. She brought to life the florals of my dreams within my budget and was just so easy to work with. She really knows how to create the most romantic settings and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist in the Colorado area.

I was one of the lucky bridesmaids to my bestfriend's 06/22 wedding at the Four Seasons and I can still remember the details from that wedding! The ceiling, the centerpieces, the church decor, the sign in table, the bar, our bouquets!!!! I cannot even stop thinking about those details because they were perfect. The way this company made everything a reality from my bestie's vision was definitely worth it!!!! What an amazing vendor, who also have a good heart!!!!

As a wedding photographer myself, I know the HUGE part flower can play in your day, so even though we were eloping, I knew I had to have something show-stopping. I found Layers of Lovely on Instagram after we decided we were going to run away to Vegas to tie the knot!! Everything was taken care of online and it was super easy!! I sent a few inspo pics and let me just tell you.... My wedding bouquet was IN.CRED.I.BLE!!!!! LIKE!! So crazy perfect!!! I would recommend Layers of Lovely a million times over!!!! She seriously has such a beautiful talent!! So original, and not some 1999 tackiness that Vegas can sometimes be known for!! lol

Planning for a wedding you hear a lot of advice from a lot of different people, "flowers are too much" "why spend so much on flowers for a few hours" "it's not a wedding without flowers". And I have to agree with the latter. I am just so glad that we invested in a florist and that we chose Catherine, because she's by far the best.

Catherine decorated my ceremony and reception area and it was all so dreamy; just as I had envisioned and had communicated to Catherine. I received so many compliments, even to this day when people see my wedding pictures they always mention how beautiful my flowers were. Throughout the planning process there were many times when I would email Catherine and ask her opinion and she would provide great feedback. She also surprised us on our wedding day by adding a special touch to our tables, and it was perfect! My husband and I have absolutely no regrets in booking Catherine. She is all that and a bag of chips for sure.

Catherine is so talented! Very professional yet approachable. We gave her our ideas but let her “do her thing” creatively and she perfectly produced what we had envisioned! We had wanted to keep the flowers simple and autumn-themed, and she nailed it- never once did she pressure us to go for “more.” Working with Catherine is like working with a respected friend- absolutely fabulous to work with!

Catherine and Layers of Lovely did an amazing job with our flowers! Catherine's vision was so inventive and beautiful for our open, white warehouse wedding. The bouquet was full of the most luscious blooms I have ever seen (there is truly no other word for it). Catherine even went the extra mile, throwing together a last-minute bouquet of roses for our small church ceremony the day before. I would absolutely recommend Layers of Lovely over and over again!

Catherine did such a beautiful job and my husband and I cannot thank her enough! We had come to her thinking of only getting a bouquet for myself, three small bridesmaid bouquets and four boutonnieres for our in-suite wedding. However, she came up with an affordable, tasteful and meaningful floral plan that truly enhanced our wedding. The archway she created to hide the suite doors impressed even the hotel staff! And we loved that she brought the flowers a day early and came to pick them up our last day of the trip so that we could be the full benefit of them. Thank you, Catherine, from the bottom of our hearts!

We were married on 4/29/17 and Catherine's florals were EVERYTHING. I have never seen such gorgeous floral arrangements in my life until I was introduced to Catherine's work. Catherine was able to sit down with us and listen to us describe in not-very-technical-terms what we were envisioning.... and she made it (and much more) come to life. I still cannot get over those bouquets, centerpieces, huppah decor... everything was so perfect and so beautiful.

She is, without a doubt, the best choice for florals in Las Vegas...and quite frankly, the best choice for florals anywhere.

WOW WOW WOW WOW!!! That's all we, as well as our guests could say when we saw our flowers and arrangements the day of our wedding at Four Seasons Las Vegas. Catherine is absolutely amazing!! I seriously couldn't have dreamed of anything so beautiful. We wanted no greenery and mostly peonies, and had a decent sized wedding with 140 guests. My bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were so stunning I couldn't believe it. When I walked down the isle and saw the arch that Catherine had created and the amazing peonies covering it my jaw dropped. Then walking into my reception and seeing the draping, center pieces, flowers on the cake, and row of flowers on the head table I about fell over. Never in my life have I seen such beautiful flowers and arrangements.

The day of my wedding we had to move my ceremony indoors last minute do to wind and Catherine came through with extra draping to make the indoor ceremony absolutely stunning! She and her team stayed through the ceremony to move the flowers over to the reception once it was finished and they were so seamless no one even saw them!

We also had a unique escort card set up with little football jerseys on sticks and she made a beautiful grass football field for us to put them on!

She was so responsive throughout the planning process, and so helpful whenever I had questions or wanted to meet to go over plans!

I HIGHLY recommend Layers of Lovely to everyone!! They will exceed all of your expectations just as they did mine (and mine were high)!!!

Catherine and Layers of Lovely gave me the wedding of my dreams. I envisioned a Great Gatsby theme and she went over and above creating the beauty and luxuriousness required. From the feathers in my bouquet to the gorgeous tables filled with feathers and amazing flowers, I couldn't be happier. She also hung chandeliers and did a beautiful beaded backdrop for my photo booth! The ceremony was outdoor and it was the most beautiful creation I had ever seen. My dreams came true and Catherine at Layers of Lovely made it a reality. THANK YOU!!!

Flowers at a wedding have always been very important for me. I first found out about them through a stunning hair and makeup photoshoot on instagram. You can tell how professional and how gorgeous a vendor is by how well they present something - and I got this vibe automatically from seeing all of her flowers all over photoshoots, pinterest, and wedding blogs. I met with Catherine and showed her the kinds of bouquets and aesthetic that I loved and wanted to emulate without even knowing much about flowers - and I was definitely in good hands!! The bouquet she made was perfect and I wish I could have kept it for more than a day! She is very accommodating and respects all of your decisions. She is also a great communicator and will be very honest with you, a trait I feel is very important, of course. I highly recommend them!

I loved working with Catherine! I brought in a few photos from our first consultation and she seriously brought my vision to life! Everything was absolutely beautiful and truly a dream come true. I cannot rave enough about Catherine and the florals that she put together for our wedding in May. I fell in love with the images posted on the website and Facebook. I worked with Catherine via email, so on the day of, I was nervous/excited to see what she had put together. Once I saw the gorgeous centerpieces and bouquets, any concerns I might have had completely vanished. From the floral for the arch to the AMAZING centerpieces, every detail was absolutely perfect. She completely captured the vision we had for the wedding. I would/will definitely recommend Layers of Lovely to any person who asks.

Catherine is amazing and her work is absolutely beautiful. My mom was very concerned with cost but Catherine met with us as many times as we needed to make her feel comfortable. I was also very nervous at first because Im very much a Type A person and was worried about my vision being lost but Catherine was able to take it to the next level. Our flowers were beyond gorgeous, from a leafy garland on our church pews to a breathtaking floral archway and a show stopping floral chandelier. I only wish flowers lasted forever so we could keep them all!

"Wow," is all I can say about my bouquet and experience with Catherine at Layers of Lovely. After being let-down a couple of weeks prior to my Las Vegas elopement by another florist in the area, Catherine stepped in and made all the difference. Her pricing was extremely reasonable and her flowers were out of this world. I'm sure every bride says this, but my bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen! Not knowing a single thing about flowers (and just sending a few photos and saying, "Something like this?! I'll leave it up to you!"), nervous from planning from afar, I wasn't sure what to expect - but Catherine made it happen. I'm sad we never actually got to meet, as I sent my now-husband on the day of, but he said, "She was so nice! You would've really liked her!"

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Layers of Lovely. Highly recommended.

Our wedding theme was 'modern poolside' at the four seasons and layers of lovely delivered in every way possible! The arrangements/designs were perfect and they were able to incorporate all of the ideas my fiance and I had! From submerged flowers in vases for the centerpieces to flowers on the leash for our corgi puppies in addition to the traditional setup, it was all amazing!!

Catherine came up with the best floral designs after giving her a reference images of things i liked and didn't like. Didn't help that i also added a lego design for her to incorporate. We received so many compliments on our bouquets and they were just what i had imagined.

I wish we could have kept every flower from our wedding forever, they were stunning. I was so relieved when we met with Catherine, I felt she was the only florist we met with that understood the vision we had for our florals. I knew her work was gorgeous and that everything would turn out perfect the day of but we were still blown away. Every arrangement was so gorgeous and LUSH. All of our bouquets and boutonnieres were the most beautiful I have ever seen. Also, our flower girl's basket (made of flowers) and halo turned out so lovely. I could go on and on about how gorgeous our florals were. Working with Catherine made the whole process easy and effortless. I would recommend Layers of Lovely to every bride and for every occasion, you will not be disappointed.

Layers of Lovely was recommended to my husband and me by our wedding planner. Catherine was extremely nice and professional to work with, and she really went above and beyond at our wedding. They were not only excellent at matching our floral inspiration photos, but the quality of flowers they used was incredible. Our guests raved about our reception in great part due to the flowers – the arrangements both looked and smelled incredible. Neither of us expected to have such an amazing job from our florist – it truly exceeded our expectations. We recommend them without reservation.

The flowers were a really big deal to me. Catherine at Layers of Lovely was amazing. She sat with me for like 20 minutes and basically said, “okay, I know what you want”. I’m not going to lie, I was a bit reluctant and kind of scared but I had no reason to be. The flowers completely blew me away. They were beautiful and amazing! My bouquet was so gorgeous and the alter was like that out of a magazine adorned in pink chiffon with huge bands of floral to hold back the draping. To save money we used the same arrangements from the ceremony for the center pieces at the reception. I loved how they looked like two totally different arrangements. They were lively and fun but also sophisticated and elegant. Our sweetheart table was the best! We had big gorgeous floral draping down the front of it. I can remember walking into the space for the first time, right before our grand entrance and our first dance thinking, “oh my goodness, this is like a dream come true.” The flowers and tea candles definitely added that wow factor to the room, that’s for sure.

I absolutely loved my flowers at our wedding !!! I have gotten so many compliments of how lush and gorgeous the centerpieces were and our bouquets. Catherine's work is awesome! I was planning my wedding from Phoenix and had actually never met or even spoken on the phone with her, which is kind of funny. Catherine is truly worth her weight in gold. The creativity and beauty she injected into each element of our wedding honesty left me breathless.

From the beautiful and lush bouquets that were delivered to my room in the morning, to the gorgeous ceremony set up, to the extravagant reception space with the lit chandeliers, pallet arch, centerpieces and cake table - it was all beyond anything I even imagined.

Catherine was also wonderful to deal with leading up to the wedding. She was responsive, creative and willing to help.

Catherine and her team did an amazing job for my May 2015 wedding. My bridal bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. Catherine at layers of lovely is amazing!! All of my wedding florals exceeded my expectations. The colors were so vibrant, they make my pictures look so beautiful. Aside from the flowers, she also brought in wood rounds for the centerpieces, pool floats, candles, lanterns, mason jars, and crates for our cake display!!! The bridal party's bouquets were stunning! Holy moly people!! Brides: if you are anything like me and are a hot mess planning your wedding because you have no idea exactly what you like/want...have Catherine from Layers of Lovely handle it for you! Poor Catherine had to deal with my indecisiveness for several months and when it came down to it our flowers and decor were EXACTLY and I repeat exactly how we envisioned them. I don't know how she did it considering I felt like I can her barely any insight to what exactly I wanted. Everything Catherine did for us was so beautiful and unique. I want to do my wedding over again just so I can see the magic that Catherine creates!!

Catherine NAILED it. Perfectly executed exactly what I wanted. I want my flowers to last FOREVER! The flowers and decor set the tone for my wedding. We LOVED our flowers from Layers of Lovely. Their name says it all! Words can not describe how much we loved Catherine and Chris's flowers. We wanted country, shabby chic and that is completely what we got. She knew my vision and she created it. When we saw their creations, we were simply astonished and almost brought to tears because of their beauty and the way she was able to make my dream come to life. Catherine is so calm and young and talented. When were saw her work, we were hooked. Please use this florist!

Her pictures were amazing!!!! I am not the hugest flower person. But at least 10 people told me that my bouquets were the nicest they have ever seen

I wanted gold sequenced linens to go with my Vegas theme. They were perfect! The bouts for the guys are really nice too. I was wowed by her work and that doesn't happen to me very often with flowers

Thank you Catherine! I had wanted roses babies breath in pinks and ivorys. I dropped off my own mason jars I had made and she brought them before our photos. We also had 4 babies breath and mini roses bridesmaid bouquets and mine which was greenery and blush roses. Just gorgeous! I just loved how romantic they looked and she hit my idea right on the head! Thank you they were beautiful! I made my photographer get great pictures of them and I'm putting my dried bouquet in a shadow box so I can remember them! :)

Catherine did such a lovely job providing the floral arrangements for my wedding! She was so patient and flexible as I constantly changed our proposal to add things and take things away up until the last couple weeks. I had a very particular bridal bouquet in mind for colors and she just nailed it with a phenomenal bouquet! I would definitely recommend using Layers of Lovely for your wedding.

As a bride planning my destination wedding across the country, I was worried that my vendors would not understand my vision just through email. Not the case in Vegas! These vendors are the BEST!!!! Catherine from Layers of Lovely is so incredibly sweet. She totally understood the whole design concept I was going for after our first conversation! We met Catherine once during our planning process and she was so helpful. I really felt like she got to know us in order to provide us the best service possible. Her florals and design are absolutely stunning. When I walked into our ceremony and reception space I was just stunned. Everything was perfect. I could not have asked for more beautiful floral arrangements and decor. Just incredible. I am still smiling from ear to ear because everything was just so beautiful! Incredible is the only way to describe Layers of Lovely. I communicated via email due to the fact I live in Australia and nothing was a problem. They created an incredible centrepiece that I wish I could have taken home with me....I couldn't stop looking at it!! All I gave was my colours and the fact the theme was classy elegance - Layers of Lovely exceeded my expectations. I can not thank them enough for the beautiful arrangements and gorgeous archway with chandelier.

It's been two weeks since our wedding and I am still absolutely speechless when I think about how beautiful our flowers were. Catherine and her team took my vision and exceeded my expectation x 10. I teared up when I saw my bouquet and then again when I saw the reception site for the first time. Her creations are one of a kind and it's obvious she puts 110% into her work to make sure her weddings are extraordinary. What I was so impressed with from the beginning was during our initial meeting. I was worried I'd be pressured into spending over my budget or she'd tell me my vision wasn't going to be possible, but I was completely wrong. I told her my max budget and the flowers/colors that I wanted to see in the arrangements...and she did the rest. Catherine at Layers of Lovely is so wonderful to work with. She is the preferred florist for Planet Hollywood (where I hosted my ceremony) and I was a bit hesitant to work with a vendor that I did not freely choose. She was more than willing to meet with me and discuss my vision for bouquets. She took my vision and took it beyond what I could have ever imagined. I could not be happier that I chose Layers of Lovely for my wedding floral! From the first meeting Catherine was extremely calming and professional. She gave me great suggestions and totally understood the look and feel I was going for. My florals were absolutely gorgeous and I got several compliments from my guests. My mother in law had planned to do the florals for our rehearsal dinner herself, and after realizing how large of a job it was she called Catherine the day before to see if she could help. My flowers were absolutely beautiful, they took my breath away!

I booked Layers of Lovely via email but somehow Catherine managed to create exactly what I had dreamed of. She took the time to meet with us once we got to town, talked through our requirements and used her own initiative to beautiful effect!

I met Catherine and her mom at the bridal spectacular and loved her booth. We had a meeting, her studio was so adorable, she was so sweet and knowledgable that I knew she would be perfect to do our wedding flowers. When I walked into my venue, I never could have imagined how truly blown away I was. She did such a magnificent job. Our reception looked like a page out of a Martha Stewart catalog. She is a floral genius. I would recommend her to anyone. And to top it off my family took some of the centerpieces home and the flowers are still beautiful, 8 days later!! I have never had roses that stay looking this goo for so long!

Loved my flowers, the bouquet was amazing. Contacted Catherine via email, she agreed to do just a bouquet and a boutonniere for us. Send over some inspirational references, paid online and had my flowers delivered to the hotel room on the wedding day. They were exactly what I wanted - very artistic, gentle, fresh, the right size and color. Catherine is amazingly talented florist. Would go there again for sure.

Catherine and her team literally transformed my wedding venue into a dream come true. Layers of Lovely was just that...details upon details of amazingness that were above and beyond my expectations. I only used Catherine for my centerpieces for our reception and glad I did. They came out absolutely perfect! I wanted vintage style cases with "fluffy" flowers and provided pictures for her and she gave me what I asked for. They went perfectly with my table decorations and the them I was going for. Catherine and Layers of Lovely were incredible. From my first meeting with Catherine I know that she could see my vision and I completely trusted her. Unlike other florists I never felt like she was steering me towards what was easier for her. She really listened to everything I wanted and was so great to work with. Catherine is a rockstar and she made my bride's wedding shine with her arrangements. We had her do the full get-up with bouquets, centerpieces, and more. It was all perfect. Seriously, perfect. Let me just tell you Catherine is such a sweetheart! Not only that but very talented!My wedding date was May 18th this year and I met Catherine a couple months before my wedding, I was a little nervous talking to a florist in general because I am so not a flower person but i knew in a wedding you had to have flowers! Catherine was so nice to meet with, I knew as soon as I walked into her room it was going to be perfect, she is so creative and unique. She wrote down every single idea, and really took time in her consultation to understand me and what look we were going for at our wedding. I had met with Catherine several times at our venue and at her studio. Although catherine was just my florist I can say she went above and beyond to help me make my wedding so perfect from giving me wedding advice to completely helping me design the layout of my wedding and where I wanted things to be. Catherine was so flexible with me on everything as well! My bouquet was definitely one of my favorite things! I'm so happy I chose Layers of Lovely. I live in Michigan and got married in Vegas. Didn't know anybody there and heard about Layers of Lovely from my venue. I trusted them 100% and I'm so happy I did it. I changed my mind some many times to figure out the best decoration for the reception and Catherine was always patient and helped me to get the most out of my budged. Catherine at Layers of Lovely worked hard to develop my vision of what my wedding day floral would look like. She tirelessly sent e-mails with inspiration pictures and floral designs so that I could give her an idea of what I liked while trying to plan my destination wedding. The end product was absolutely lovely! I had tables of flowers, some with wood stained boxes overflowing with flowers, and others with bottles lit inside and flowers overflowing out the top. What really made the arrangements from Layers of Lovely stand out was the texture achieved from greens and floral that was beyond the typical. We chose bold colored dahlias, succulents, billy balls, ranunculus, etc.

Catherine literally SAVED my wedding reception by helping me last minute when the flowers I ordered from an online vendor arrived 3 days late and DEAD! When I first laid my eyes on the floral design she had created for our wedding I was ecstatic! Catherine and her team did such an amazing job in turing our ceremony space so romantic and breathtaking. There are no adequate words to describe how amazing a job Catherine Thompson & Weeds did on our wedding. I would have been lost without Catherine's generosity of time, patience and endless creative ideas and expertise. My ideas were all over the place and she rolled with the punches to completely floor me on my wedding days with the world's most gorgeous floral decor. My guests can't stop talking about it either. She went above and beyond flowers - she helped in managing all our deliveries, all our non-floral decorations, everything and that made such a big difference for someone planning a wedding from 3,000 miles away. When I think of my wedding, I think of the beautiful purple, white and green, the big fronds, the succulents, the fluffy hydrangea, the orchids, the sweet pea.... I cannot say enough good things about Catherine and her company. She was incredibly patient, caring, and really made everything feel custom tailored. The biggest surprise I had was how reasonable she was in the cost. I hate to say it but she could easily demand twice what she charges! That just shows she loves what she does. Thanks, Catherine!

I loved my bouquet that I ordered from Catherine! I found her online and began to follow her on Instagram. After seeing so many beautiful floral arrangements that she created, I knew I had to get a bouquet and boutonniere from her. I was right... I LOVED my bouquet!! and of course the boutonniere too!! I only rated her 4.5 for responsiveness because there were times that I didn't hear from her for a few days. No matter the case, it all ended up perfect and I received the more beautiful flowers that were delivered on time.

I was just looking back at my wedding photos and realized I never gave Catherine a proper review on Wedding Wire, which she definitely deserves. It's hard to choose your vendors when you're not in the same city as them, and I spent many hours reading through reviews before settling on her. I would highly recommend her. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted flower-wise, but since we were never able to meet before-hand I wasn't sure that it would come across exactly as I wanted. Though e-mails and photos she understood exactly what to put together. I was nervous to see if everything would come together on the wedding day as I had envisioned, but I have to say she did an amazing job and exceeded my expectations. She really knocked it out of the ballpark. Her prices are reasonable and the quality is great.

Catherine did an amazing job with our wedding floral. Honestly, I did not initially seek a quote from her because I thought her fabulous work would be beyond my budget. After receiving numerous outrageous quotes from Las Vegas area vendors (I kid you not, I got about 10 separate quotes), I finally decided to reach out to her. Boy, am I glad I did! Her price was one of the most affordable quotes I got, but her work looked the most gorgeous and high-quality. Her description of my vision and color combination was exactly what I had in mind, and the end product was even better. All of the arrangements were extremely lush and full, with the most high-end flower types throughout. There was absolutely NO skimping whatsoever in her work. Also, most florists included a "set-up and delivery" fee of $300+ in their quotes, which Catherine did not.

Although the response time to my initial inquiry and some of my emails was longer than what I would have hoped (hence, my only 4.5/5), I completely understood when I realized how extremely busy this woman is. So, I only write this so that future brides don't become discouraged. It's worth the couple of days to wait for a response to have her breathtaking work at your wedding!

Catherine was amazing! She was responsive, professional and creative. I gave her full creative control with just a few words of inspiration and I was pleasantly suprised with my results the day of my wedding. I was missing some flowers on my ceremony arch which I thought were going to be there but other than that everything was great.

My wedding florals and decor were breathtaking to say the least. I had a vision and Catherine helped me paint it thoroughly. On the day of my wedding, I was so choked up with how everything came together - because it was just so gorgeous and even more so live in front of me.

Catherine and her team are truly talented. It might take a quick minute or so for them to get back to you but it is likely because of the excellent quality of their florals and that they are probably the best choice for floral in the LV area and in demand. They are responsive nonetheless, and will work with you achieve exactly what it is you are looking for in your floral and decor needs. Thank you Catherine and team!

Working with Catherine and Layers of Lovely was an amazing experience. We met with her for an initial consultation and she had tons of imagery/examples to look at for inspiration. From that point, we simply told her what our vision was, what type of flowers we loved, what we didn't like and then left it up to her and her team. And boy did she deliver! Walking into the ceremony and seeing my bouquet for the first time brought tears to my eyes. It was all so stunning.
We had them work on everything from boutonnieres, bouquets, table arrangements, floating arrangements, cocktail table displays, dance floor floral chandeliers, chuppah adornment, aisle arrangements and a cake topper. Everything was beyond beautiful.
More guests commented on the amazing floral than almost any other element of our wedding. We would highly recommend Catherine and Layers of Lovely to anyone and everyone, especially the discerning/type-A/particular bride.

My bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets were gorgeous! The ring bearer pillow was awesome! All my arrangements looked perfect. Florist was very flexible with me adding things to order closer to wedding. A few minor mishaps the day of but I was probably her smallest order on a Saturday and was not set up by the main florist. Overall I was incredibly happy with this vendor.

Our wedding planner recommended Layers of Lovely and they did a great job.
We had a meeting with Layers of Lovely a year prior to our wedding as we lived overseas, the meeting felt a little rushed and she did not offer any ideas as we did not have many ideas about what we wanted except the colour!

The flowers were delivered on time and they were beautiful, they died quite early but that was because of the heat.
We ordered a spiral design down the aisle and for $300 it did not come out the way we imagined, it looked a little like circles of rose petals.
Layers of Lovely did an AMAZING job at the reception, the flowers really made our table decor.

Overall we were really pleased with our flowers :)

Catherine provided amazing floral pieces for two bridal photo shoot while I was in Las Vegas. She was great to collaborate with and followed my suggestions for the style I was looking for. She was very flexible with my timeline and needs for my photo shoot! I would love to work with Catherine again for other photography needs.
