Amazing and Super Flexible!
This review is way overdue. We were married in August 2018 and Kimi was nothing but amazing and super flexible. I had a long list of photos I really wanted and some required having two photographers. Her husband had an injury but he was still even there to help; that was quite amazing and I couldn’t say thank you more. Kimi wanted to make sure that the photos were everything we could possibly want and she went above and beyond. Even with prior preparation and requests, we still had trouble getting her into Petco Park to take some photos pre-game due to restrictions on professional photographers allowed during the baseball game but she went with the swing of things. On top of it all, our wedding set a record for heat and Kimi and husband were such troopers. I just couldn’t have asked for anything more. I definitely recommend using Lavish Lark Photography for any of your photography needs! -

Kimberley did such an amazing job on our wedding day & our photos. She made sure that we we're satisfied with our pictures, & that we got all the poses we wanted. The pictures came out absolutely perfect, we're obsessed with them. She is amazing & I highly recommend that if anyone is looking for a photographer for any event, there's no better person for the job than Kim. -

Kimberley was perfect. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she took the time before and during the wedding to listen to our vision and combine it with her artistic license. The photos came out beautifully and all our guests commented on how kind and professional Kimberley was to work with. Kimberley went above and beyond to make our day special, she even brought me (the bride) an emergency bridal kit! -

Kim was our photographer for our 10 year anniversary, and we traveled halfway across the country to renew our vows on the lovely beaches of San Diego. Fate had other plans, and the day of the ceremony we had high wind and cloudy skies. Kim worked with us and was AMAZING from the start, helping us relax and have fun regardless of the weather, and captured some fantastic candid images of us and our kids. After the ceremony she helped us work through some shots and leverage the stormy skies as a really dramatic backdrop. We just got our edits and were FLOORED by how amazing and stunning the images are. We were hoping to create a memory that would last, but Kim took us from a a loving memory to a bold statement of our love, and these images are something we will cherish and proudly display around our home for years to come. -

Kim was great! She made me and my now husband feel super comfortable, it felt more like a close friend taking our pictures. The finish product was beautiful, so many to choose from! And to top it all off, once we were all done she gave my husband and I a ride to the restaurant of our reception instead of us having to wait and pay for an Uber! So nice and I'm sure it was way out of her way. Thank you so much for everything! -

Kimberley is the best! She really took the time to get to no my fiancé and I, and our needs which made it that much better. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer . My husband and I are from Texas so we really did not know where to begin looking for elopement options when we decided to elope in San Diego. We came across Reverend Christopher from Elope to San Diego who then referred us to Kimberley from Lavish Lark Photography. Kimberley was always happy to answer any questions I had and I sent her many emails discussing our wedding day. We are absolutely in love with all the photos she took and she sent us plenty to make our special day even more memorable! She even stayed and chatted with us when we were done for awhile, even though she didn't have to! You could just tell photography is her passion and she likes to get to know her clients not just get it done and on to the next. Thank you so much Kimberley! You captured our special day perfectly. -

Kimberley and Carl are an amazing team. They captured every detail of our wedding. They were professional, prepared, and made my whole family feel comfortable. Kimmy even gave me her own watch when we finished my personal photos and realized I would have no way to know when to cross the street and enter my ceremony site for the wedding. The turn around to get our pictures was very quick and all of the photos are beautiful. They are very reasonable and have now done three separate sessions (Christmas, Engagement, and Wedding) for us. I would highly recommend Lavish Lark! -

She did photos for my Parents 50th Wedding Anniversary and most recently for our 25th Anniversary! She is so easy going, easy to talk to & has an artist eye for sure. We love the candid shots too.....she doesn’t miss anything! Forever in debt to her for helping make such great memories for our family!!!

She Was the only photographer I contacted that made me feel comfortable and like family than a client. No matter what question I had about anything she answer. I absolutely LOVE HER. My wedding photos took my breath away. She did a beautiful job. Every single photo we got came in black and white and also color. Im so speechless when it come to kim. All I can say is you will regret not booking her. I love love love her and her amazing work

We could not have asked for better photos nor a better photographer. She captured every moment beautifully and had a perfect mix of posed and natural photos. Not sure how she did it - but my husband and I never looked better! I highly recommend her for her quality photos and her professionalism.

We live in Maine and decided to do a simple elopement ceremony on the beach in Oceanside. It was a little frightening to try to book services and plan from thousands of miles away, but I was lucky to find Kim at Lavish Lark to do my wedding photos and we couldn't be happier! Oh sure, it's easy when you have a young pretty bride and a Hollywood production for a wedding, but Kim made this 50 year old couple feel like stars! We had a simple but beautiful wedding on the beach with our kids and Kim made it a work of art. She not only found the prettiest views and best angles at our condo resort, but she truly captured the emotion of the day and made it magical. She took the love and laughter and turned them into gorgeous photographs that we will cherish forever. She took her time and made us feel soooo special, not to mention we had a ball being the stars of our own photo shoot! From the moment we met her, it was like having a friend there at our wedding. Kim is warm, kind, sweet, funny and a true professional. My only regret is that she was behind the lens and not in some of the pictures with us - we loved her that much! -

They are professional, easy to work with, on time and unlike others, do not take over the wedding but are in the background doing their job. The turnaround time to the finished photos was quick. Their pricing was less than I could have ever expected and every photo was perfection. 5 stars all the way!

Hayley Sent on 02/14/2018I got married in November on the beach in Coronado. Kimberly was amazing and I love my photos. My husband can't stand to take pictures and she was able to make him feel comfortable and we were all laughing having fun during our photos after the ceremony. If you want to really smile during your wedding photos and not have one of those horrible photographers who is constantly yelling at you and adding stress to your day, Kimberly is the one for you. Hailey Sent on 02/14/2018We had a quick ceremony on the beach, just my husband and me. Kimberly was amazing! Great price, great pictures, and fast work. We got a good amount of pictures, each one in color and black and white. I believe we had an hour for photos, but it went so easily it only lasted about 20 minutes! That's how good she was. She showed us the pictures along the way too as we took them which I loved because I can be pretty picky. Everything came out perfectly! I would definitely hire her again for a special occasion! -

Hannah Sent on 02/14/2018My husband and I decided to elope with no one but ourselves, and we came all the way from Iowa to do it, so we chose a company who took care of both the ceremony and took some pictures as well so we didn’t have those extra tasks to worry about thousands of miles away. That’s how we ended up with Lavish Lark Photography! We emailed frequently, and I never had a doubt in my mind that our photos would turn out amazing. Fast forward to our wedding, at sunset, on the beach.. it was quick, organized, and everything we could have dreamed of.. and it was inexpensive compared to anything else we looked at! We could not have planned this all the way from Iowa without them. Would highly recommend Lavish Park to anyone looking!

Karissa Sent on 02/14/2018There are not enough words to express how thankful and appreciative we are for the beautiful, magical and wonderful photos Kimmi and Carl took for our engagement and wedding. They went above and beyond to capture special days for all of us. I have never felt or seen somebody so patient and passionate about what they do. My husband isn’t a big fan of taking photos but with there kind hearts and funny sense of humor he enjoyed every minute. I just can’t say enough. Will defiantly book for any special occasions/events and have recommended to all friends and family.
