We did our First Looks here and our Wedding Party Photos and it was AMAZING! We just paid a sitting fee and were allowed to go roam where ever we wanted to, no one ever bothered us! Other people who were there were so awesome and respectful when we were taking photos around the gardens, even standing watching and applauding us! This was the perfect place for First Looks! =)

Our wedding reception at Lauritzen Gardens was absolutely breathtaking. James was so helpful in making sure that everything looked perfect and answering any questions we had a long the way. Our guests loved being able to stroll through the conservatory. They also appreciated that tropical atmosphere while it was snowing outside! I would highly recommend Lauritzen as a wedding reception venue.

Was a beautiful venue but we didn't get a lot for our money. We were not notified when our original contact left the company. We were promised and planned our time frame around using a tram that would transport the whole wedding party to where we were taking photos, but due to construction couldn't use it, and we were given a 5 passenger golf cart in its place which required three trips each way. Jennifer was helpful in planning the flow of the reception and set up of the ceremony so that the construction on the main building didn't show in our ceremony photos

I loved the venue itself - the garden is so pretty and the pictures turned out amazing! The staff on the other hand was the worst to work with. Really turned me off to ever having another event there. The garden hired a new wedding coordinator and he is terrible!!! For as much experience as he says he has - he made so many mistakes... THAT if I would not corrected MYSELF I would have had to pay for... Think twice before having your event there...

Horrible. They care more about their facility than your big day done your way and treat you as though you are an adolescent. So many rules, no flexibility. Find somewhere else if you want your wedding to be about you. Stephanie makes you worry every moment.

You'll notice a trend here...terrible staff and event planner support, more concern about the facility than your special day, and people lying to your face the day of the event to cover their backside. The beauty of the facility is not in question. The beauty of the people who work there, the event planners, and the management...absolutely in question and horrible to work with. They changed event planners on us three times over the course of the year leading up to the event. Those planners took very little notes, and therefore we had to reinvent the wheel with each one. Then, multiple things were changed on us from as far out as a month before the wedding to the week of to the day before to actually the day OF the wedding. Imagine coming to the Gardens four days before the wedding and being told the location you had planned on for over a year was NEVER an option for a wedding...even though all three event planners walked the location with us as we described what we hoped for. DO NOT hold your wedding here...there are many beautiful places in Omaha, and they will do a much better job of making you feel important.
