Loved Laurelwood

Laurelwood Designs made the most beautiful floral arrangements we could have asked for our wedding. She and her team arrived early to our venue and set up two fireplaces and all of our table arrangements, in addition to the wedding party bouquets + corsages. She truly gave us so much more than what we could have asked for. The floral arrangements were full, colorful, and so large in size as requested. They were really beautiful and made all of the photos really stand out for the wedding party. The photos for the family and wedding party were specifically positioned in front of the fireplaces where they had decorated them in flowers and candles. These spaces were so beautiful and well designed. They elevated every photo and made it seem like we were in a winter wonderland. Laura was so easy to work with, she was very fair on price, and went above and beyond with her team to deliver us a day we will never forget. I would recommend her and her team to everyone looking for a florist for their special day.

Absolutely beautiful, definitely recommend!

Laurelwood Designs was hands-down one of the best decisions we made when it came to our wending vendors. The floral arrangements, ceremony arch, bouquets, etc. surpassed expectations - everything was absolutely stunning. The florals completely transformed our ceremony and reception rooms in the best way, and I truly couldn't imagine the day without them!

I shared inspiration photos with Laurie when we first met, and the flowers on the wedding day turned out exactly as I imagined they'd be, but better! My mom and I still talk about how gorgeous every arrangement was and how much we appreciate Laurelwood Designs for the incredible work they did to make the wedding day so beautiful. 10/10 recommend!

We are so happy with our decision to work with Laurie and her team for our wedding! From the very first meeting, we connected right away and she understood my vision exactly. She is so easy to work with and is so kind! Even weeks leading up to the wedding I wanted to add in an additional colored flower and she had them ordered quickly and without any issue. In addition, both Laurie and her team were extremely easy to work with and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. Seeing how she was able to seamlessly put everything together on the day of the wedding was incredible. She took my vision and exceeded our expectations. the best experience

Laurel Designs was a TEN - i do recommend them and am already thinking of using the company for my daughters sweet 16 which is in 3.5 yrs. I had the best experience and the flowers were absolutely perfect- the color scheme, the beauty, the professionalism had me in awe! Everything was extremely prerfect. My bouquet was breathtaking- every center piece was so beautiful. I did feel like we got our moneys worth! Thank You Laurie-to our perfect wedding day- OUR vow renewal- everything was so perfect! 11/16/23🫶🏽 I am still waiting for the professional photos but i tried to share the beautiful flowers made by this amazing vendor!

Best Florist In NJ

Laurie completely made my dreams come true with the florals she created!! I was going for a different look with my flowers than most people do so it was very hard to find inspiration pictures of what I wanted. Laurie drew sketches, pulled inspiration of her own and totally knocked it out of the park. From the staircase, ceremony arch, escort table arrangement and reception arrangements everything was done to perfection! She even stayed with her team until after the ceremony to move the arch into the reception area. Pictures don’t do her work justice, everyone was blown away by the stunning flowers. I cannot recommend Laurie enough!!

Cannot recommend eough!!!

Laurie and her team were truly so so amazing to work with! I had only a few inspiration pictures but besides that didn’t really have a set ‘vision,’ but she really helped me orchestrate one and bring it all to life.. From our very first meeting she helped with absolutely everything design wise and walked through all the different types of options for types of flowers, suggestions on where things should go in my venue, and so much more! A week leading up to the wedding I decided I wanted to add flowers to our welcome mirror and seating chart and she was able to add on/handle with no problems- which just showed how responsive and patient her team are!. The end result was absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t have been happier! Cannot recommend enough!!!!!

1000000/10 Stars - My Wedding Was a Dream

We wanted a timeless, classic, chic aesthetic for our wedding, and Laurie of Laurelwood Designs hit it out of the park. She worked with us at every stage of the process (very patiently, I might add!) while we went back and forth on various ideas and concepts, and gave great guidance and ideas until our vision came to life.

Not only did everything turn out absolutely gorgeous and beyond my wildest expectations, but she also gave consistently smart and thoughtful recommendations that enhanced the experience. For example, she had the brilliant idea of using my reception centerpieces to line the aisle so I wouldn’t have to pay for both aisle decor AND centerpieces. The arch flowers were then repurposed for our sweetheart table.

In addition to creating all of our floral arrangements, she handled every aspect of my ceremony decor, including coordinating the staging (which she covered in white fabric), the pipe & drape, the arch and aisle runner. Standing on that platform during our vows -- with the lighting and white backdrop — seriously felt like we were in a cloud or a dream.

Laurie is an absolute master at what she does. When you hire her, you are not just hiring someone to sell you flowers, but -- more importantly -- an expert who will guide you every step of the way towards the gorgeous wedding of your dreams. Hiring Laurie will be the best investment you will make for your wedding.

Truly spectacular!

It’s rare to find someone who you already know is truly amazing and have them beat your expectations. Laurie and her team are absolutely incredible - from day one, they were accommodating, responsive, professional and a down right delight to work with.

When COVID halted my bridal shower two days before the event, and ultimately pushed our events a year back, she made a nervous bride feel at ease and managed the circumstances perfectly. Laurie even went as far as calling my church the day of my wedding to ensure they could relocate the leftover Easter flowers to ensure everything was perfectly placed.

I was truly blown away when I was handed my bouquet and walked into my reception. The team bailed every aspect of our vision and guests are still talking about it today!

Not only did Laurie perfectly execute my wedding day, we worked with her for my bridal shower and rehearsal, my brothers engagement party and rehearsal dinner, and I know she’ll play a special part in all our important life events in the future.

I cannot recommend Laurelwood enough - they’re truly spectacular.

Beauriful work!!

Laurie was incredible! From our first call I could tell we would work well together. Her proposal was by far the most cost effective of all of the florist proposals I recieved, and friends who had previously worked with her raved about how she really gives you your money’s worth. I was not disappointed! I knew her standard client had a more traditional vision than I did, but she eagerly jumped in to planning colorful, wild and unique florals for my wedding. When the sample wasn’t exactly what I had in mind, Laurie was happy to amend the designs with new colors and types of flowers, and the florals at the wedding were perfect! My bouquet was ENORMOUS and gorgeous, and the chuppah, centerpieces and venue decorations were exactly what I pictured. She also reused the flowers from the chuppah and built a sweetheart table installation at no additional cost. I was thrilled to work with her and would absolutely recommend her!

Perfect in every way!

Laurelwood Designs was excellent! When we had our initial consultation, Laurie was thorough and made sure she really understood our vision. She took the time to review past florals she had done and identify what we did and did not like for our aesthetic. Laurie was honest about what we really “needed” for our venue space and did not try to upsell us or suggest any unnecessary extras. We really appreciated her genuine business approach. Laurie provided us with a full centerpiece sample that allowed us to really see the vision come to life before the wedding day. Laurie was wonderful when we needed to reschedule twice due to COVID. She made me a beautiful bouquet for our August 2020 small ceremony, so I of course had high hopes for our August 2021 reception florals. When I say the flowers were exactly what I envisioned I am being sincere. The centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres were beautiful, but my absolute favorite thing was the ceremony and sweetheart table floral garland. It was full and truly completed the aesthetic. Laurie and her team made our vision come to life!

Beyond thankful

Laurelwood knocked my wedding out of the park. I was able to show just a few photos to Laurie and she made my vision (and even what i didnt think about) come together perfectly. Not only did they cone through with the vision but they even moved my ceremony site detail to my sweetheart table afterwards which my maitre d even admitted he wouldnt have done justice to the decoration like they did. I highly recommend and wish i had more events to hire them for!

Planning a wedding during the pandemic was anything but fun and enjoyable. But working with Laurie was a dream! Her responsiveness and vision was everything I pictured working with a vendor would be. Made all my visions come to life!

I can’t say enough good things about Laurie & her team. She was always responsive, professional & budget friendly every step of the way.

I met with Laurie at my initial appointment to go over everything and a few months before our wedding we changed venues which meant tons of changes to what I originally had planned. Laurie made these changes so easy and stress free which is what every bride needs while wedding planning LOL. Laurie was super flexible & helped me come up with new ideas to create what I was looking for at the new venue.

During the whole process she always suggested ideas to repurpose arrangements from the ceremony to the reception so that I could keep costs down. I remember telling her the littlest things about what I was looking for and she just got me and my vision right away! You can tell she’s a professional and just GETS IT!

The day of her & her team literally set up everything so perfectly I cried happy tears when I saw the ballroom and ceremony space for the first time.

Overall, amazing experience & I would recommend her over and over!

Laurie was so amazing to work with! We met with Laurie back in 2019 and felt so comfortable with her. My husband and I knew she would do an incredible job since we have seen her unique work multiple times at our venue! Stunning florals

Laurie & Laurelwood were great to work with. We didn't have a super specific vision of what we wanted, but they were able to help us along and create exactly what we didn't know we wanted! We did a floral arch as well as bouquets, low centerpieces, corsages and boutonnieres and all of them were gorgeous. We got oohs & ahhs and so many compliments on the flowers! Top of the Line Florist in North NJ

Laurie absolutely knocked it out of the park with our flowers! She completely nailed my vision and made so many helpful suggestions that transformed our venue. Our centerpieces were so stunning, and our sweetheart table – from the flowers to other pieces she used to creatively design it were UNREAL. Our bouquets were stunning – exactly what I was going for. She just made everything so unbelievably perfect and wildly exceeded my already high expectations! Laurie also did the florals for my shower, which were also just impeccable. Stunning flowers

Laurie is the best of the best and I am so glad that I hired her as my florist! The flowers were stunning, and made an absolutely beautiful venue even more beautiful. We received so many compliments on ALL of the flowers. She was so responsive during the wedding planning process and helped make it easier for me. Laurie is not only a florist, she is warm, honest and completely a true artist. We had a very firm vision for our design and flowers, she transformed it into something beyond our dreams while still helping us completely switch seasons from spring to fall. She never changed our vision she just supported us each step of the way and encouraged us to pick what we love. She treated us both like family, supported us though every hurdle and every change due to the venue, the change to a tent, and then the change back to an indoor outdoor ballroom two weeks prior. She created a wedding that was pure magic with not one flaw. Hand designed by us both and hand done completely by her and her amazing staff. If you have the honor to work with her your beyond blessed. Laurie is true perfection!

Our minimony

Laurelwood Designs team is the absolute best! We are working with them for our big wedding ceremony next year and they were able to pull together a quick minimony for us as well this year! They even delivered our flowers to different locations so that my husband and I wouldn’t see each other that morning. Dream Winter Wedding

I used Laurelwood Designs as my mother in law heard through a friend of hers that they were wonderful and appropriately priced. I had ZERO clue of what I envisioned for wedding flowers and felt completely overwhelmed. But Laurie was able to hear what I didnt want, provide floral displays and ideas to make the process so much easier. It was a winter wedding and I knew I wanted white flowers and to incorporate branches of some sort. She took all my thoughts and ideas and created an unbelievable display of flowers for my ceremony as well as the reception. They were PERFECT! Everyone was raving about them. It felt like such a whimsical dream. I couldnt have asked for a prettier setting and will always remember these gorgeous flowers!

Best Florist!!

SO happy I decided to hire Laurelwood Designs as my florist for my wedding on 10/4/20. Due to the pandemic, I had to change my wedding plans multiple times and Laurie and her team were always very responsive and always assisted me. I emailed Laurie MANY times and she was ALWAYS responded and helped my vision come to life. Flowers are really necessary to create a beautiful atmosphere and Laurie did just that! Incredible to work with, and gorgeous florals!

Laurie and Nicole are such a delight! They've been incredibly helpful throughout all of this. We postponed our reception to 2021 and planned a micro wedding on our original date this summer. The process was smooth sailing, not to mention our flowers! I couldn't sing their praises enough. My bouquet was absolutely stunning. I had it preserved so I can keep it with me forever! Laurelwood has made COVID and replanning our wedding so much less stressful!

Due to COVID, we’ve now had to reschedule our wedding twice and Laurelwood has done nothing but been supportive, kind, and helpful (some vendors have made replanning our wedding so hard and stressful, but Laurelwood has been amazing)!

Laurie is truly talented and generous - they give you much more than other florists (she put samples together for us and they all exceeded our expectations). Also, her prices are VERY reasonable and in my experience you get much more for your money (I am comparing this to my experience with both NJ and NY florists).

I highly recommend Laurelwood to anyone for any event. Thank you for being kind and helpful during covid.

A floral dream come true!

My husband and I got married on September 27th at the Park Chateau. I found Laurie because I had seen pictures of another wedding and I absolutely loved the flowers. I found out Laurelwood Designs was the vendor and wrote it down. But to be honest, I was hesitant to call because I thought it was so beautiful that it had to be ridiculously expensive. I’m so glad we called because after one time meeting Laurie we knew we had met our florist. She was extremely nice, accommodating, and clearly very talented. She is willing to work with you and help your vision come to life. A few months before the wedding we saw a sample and loved it. However, you still never know what it’s going to look like when it all comes together that day. I cannot say it enough that the flowers at our wedding SURPASSED everything we ever envisioned. Nearly everyone complimented the flowers that night and for weeks to come. Any time someone I know gets engaged I immediately tell them they should book Laurelwood Designs as their florist. Thank you so much to Laurie and the team at Laurelwood Designs for making our wedding look like a fairytale!!

Amazingly quality, you get so much for your money, and it’s BEAUTIFUL.... they’re also great to work with and make your day stressless

Laurie's Work is Perfection

I have always admired Laurie's work and having her provide the flowers for my wedding was a dream come true. She knows what looks great and was able to translate my ideas into something tangible. Absolutely incredible.

Working with Laurie was a given after she did my sister's wedding. She was so wonderful to work with and she completely brought everything to life. I knew I made the right decision when I saw my flower mock up at her office. My breath was completely taken away. The day of the wedding, I was at a loss for words when I walked into my ballroom. The room was complete because of the job that Laurie did.

Wow! Amazing flowers, experience, and value.

When planning our wedding, the choice of florist was a top priority. However, my groom and I were having a small wedding on short timeline so we were not sure how the process of selecting florist might play out. Well contacting and working with Laurelwood Designs was the high point of my wedding planning. Laurie is kind and thoughtful and made the entire process effortless. After our initial meeting I knew I had met my florist. My friends, two of whom are interior designers, could not stop raving about the flowers at my wedding. The chuppah was to die for. Each arrangement from the staircase, to the escort table, to my bouquet was designed to bring the colors and feel of the wedding together. The bouquets arrived exactly when expected. Laurie and her employees turned the chuppah into into an arch after the ceremony for dinner so we could continue to enjoy the amazing flowers. The centerpieces were glorious and exactly what I envisioned. Every detail executed was exceptional and personalized.

When the wedding pictures arrived, I could fully take in the beauty Laurelwood Designs brought to my wedding. It would not have been the same without Laurie's expertise and marvelous attention to detail. Thank you Laurelwood Designs for creating a magical day for Evan and I.

The most gorgeous (wedding) flowers I have ever seen!

Laurie and her team absolutely nailed our outdoor wedding florals! Extremely patient, understanding and helpful. She will go above and beyond any of your expectations. Flower goddess❤️

Laurie is AMAZING!!! We got married at the Park chateau and showed her pictures of what we wanted and when I tell you we were both very specific, she knew exactly what to show us to make us fall in love. When we saw our ballroom our mouths dropped it was beautiful!!! More than we could have dreamed of. She’s so talented and it truly shows!! We just told her the colors we liked and maybe one or two flowers and she put together the most beautiful and romantic bouquets l, centerpieces and even the gorgeous staircase at the venue. The candles and details were just the icing on the cake. We were so happy we made an appt with her, THANK YOU !!! 💛💛

Magazine Worthy Florals

Laurelwood Designs was the second florist that I met with on my vendor-hunt and I instantly knew she was the florist for us. Upon the initial meeting with Laurie, she provided pictures and physical floral samples of what she had to offer. We talked through my vision and she seemed to instantly bring it to life through her creative mind. She assured us that we could have exactly what we were looking for within budget - and even suggested alternatives for in-season flowers to keep costs down.

The day of the wedding, Laurie and her assistant arrived at our venue super early to set up. We opted for a mix of high and low table centerpieces, sweetheart table, escort card table, and gift table arrangements in addition to floral arrangements specific to the venue's architecture.

Every arrangement was STUNNING. I am consistently asked who my florist was for our wedding because Laurelwood is simply incredible. The flowers were exactly what I asked for and they tied together beautifully with all of the colors of our bridal party's attire and the venue itself. I couldn't recommend Laurelwood Designs enough!

Loved Laurelwood - the Flowers were Stunning!

Wow -where to begin? Laurie was so easy to work with, listened to my ideas but also provided her own and she stuck to my budget with no questions asked. The rehearsal dinner - people were fighting to take home the arrangements at the end!! It was exactly what we discussed and I imagined, just gorgeous and really made the room pop.

Now, the wedding - WOW!! i mean, i can't even explain. The chuppah was stunning, the table arrangements, the escort card table - all of it!! Oh and my bouquet!! I mean all of it was just perfect!! Laurie used a piece of my mom's wedding dress to wrap the bouquet - all the details were perfect and thoughtful! I continue to get sooo many compliments on everything. The whole weekend was a dream come true and would not have been the same if Laurie were not part of it. I highly recommend working with Laurelwood Designs - I hope I get to do it in the future!

Laurie brought my vision to life and even better then I imagined!

Laurie made my wedding everything I had visioned it to be. Actually even better then my vision was. She was such a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed every time we met in person to discuss details. She was flexible when the day before thew wedding I realized i didn't get my mother and mother-in-law flowers but it wasn't a problem and she arrived with beautiful corsages the next day. The BEST decision!

I could NOT have picked a better florist for my wedding! From the moment I met Laurie I knew she was the one who could make my wedding vision come to life. I showed her a few pictures of what I was envisioning and BAM, she made it happen. I received so many compliments on my flowers and many people asked if I had a wedding planner (which I didn't.) Without Laurie's work, our wedding would not have lived up to the beauty of our venue. Timeless, elegant, natural, romantic; these were all things I was imaging our wedding would capture and Laurie absolutely nailed it.

Laurie went above and beyond for our wedding flowers and design. From the beginning of our relationship, Laurie took her time to listen to every single detail, concern, and idea. I am so happy that I booked Laurelwood Designs for my July 1st wedding at the Ryland Inn. From the moment we stepped into her shop to initially meet her I felt like family. Laurie was wonderful to work with, she understood what I was envisioning for my wedding. When we sat down to discuss everything she opened up her portfolio on her computer to show me past weddings she has done. It was so helpful to see her work and point out what I loved and wanted for my own wedding.

Our wedding day ended up being the hottest day of the summer, so we moved our ceremony inside. Laurie, knowing I was a little upset about the move, made sure that the inside ceremony spot looked absolutely stunning. She is so talented!!!

Right before the let our guest into our reception they gave my husband and I a sneak peak of the ballroom and I started to cry. It was everything I ever wanted. The flowers were just absolutely gorgeous from the centerpieces, to the fireplace, our cake, and cocktail decorations. Every detail exceeded my expectations!

I highly recommend using Laurelwood designs, you will not be disappointed!!

I used Laurie for my floral design for my August 2017 wedding and all I can say is that I am forever grateful that I came across her & chose her as my florist! To say Laurie knocked it out of the park would be a complete understatement. Laurie is the sweetest, most creative person and took hours out of her week to talk and meet and plan with me to make my dreams a reality!

I got married at a rather large venue, and really wanted to create a certain vibe in several rooms of the venue. Laurie took complete creative control, and I trusted her with my vision. She did not miss a single detail, and it was the most gorgeous day I could have ever imagined. I was absolutely stunned walking through the venue with my husband, and seeing how absolutely spectacular everything was. Every idea that I had dreamed up in my head, Laurie executed flawlessly. She really was the MVP of our wedding day, and the best decision I could have ever made. I could go on and on about the experience we had with Laurelwood!!

Not only is Laurie SO talented, but she was an absolute delight to work with. I promise every bride that she will blow you away with her gorgeous designs. I could not have been happier having Laurie as my florist for my big day! Our first consultation my mom and I were completely blown away with her portfolio and professionalism. She understood my vision so clearly, which not many other florists did. I was very lucky to have a gorgeous winter wedding, and Laurie executed my flowers and centerpieces perfectly. My flowers were ivory, cream and blush with lots of greenery to contrast my wine bridesmaids dresses, and my centerpieces were beautiful lanterns, candles, greenery and pinecones on long farmhouse tables. Laurie executed my vision with perfection and grace. Almost every person at our wedding commented on how beautiful every little detail was, and many engaged couples there asked for her information!

During the wedding planning process I reached out to Laurie a few times with questions and changes. She would answer me so quickly, and give me concept ideas and recommendations in each email. Laurie was so trustworthy, professional and kind. I cannot recommend Laurelwood Designs enough - thank you Laurie and your team for making my day absolutely perfect!

Laurie was an absolute pleasure to work with! During my initial consult with Laurie, I knew immediately she'd be a perfect fit to do the flowers for our wedding. She had a great vision and worked seamlessly with my ideas and budget and executed the floral arrangements perfectly. I received so many compliments not only on the bridesmaid bouquets and my bridal bouquet but by all of the reception centerpieces, as well. We requested that she put baseballs in the centerpiece on our memory table and it came out looking perfect! I planned our daughter's wedding from KY which is a long way from NJ!! I was overwhelmed with the process of choosing vendors not having any idea about distances, reputations, pricing or even the wedding culture in NJ. I read reviews on The Wedding Wire and The Knot and began calling florists. Some would not work with me if I could not come in to see them in person which of course, was impossible living in KY. I talked to at least 8 florists and Laurelwood was the one who immediately just got what look we were going for. I was really blown away by how intuitive Laurie, the owner, was when we talked about what we were trying to achieve. She is so easy to work with, has such an eye for detail, and is so very very talented. Living so far away was a non-issue. We communicated easily by phone and email. When I did make a trip to NJ she was very flexible and accommodating and met with us in her shop where we went over the finer details of the flowers, the containers, and where we wanted the flowers delivered. She even had a sample floral arrangement all made up for us to see!! Laurelwood Designs has many different containers and design styles for whatever look you are trying to achieve. She has so much experience and expertise which makes her a wealth of knowledge. Laurie's prices were very reasonable for the exceptional quality, beauty and creative design. And I never felt she was pushing anything on me. In fact, she was familiar with our venue and suggested NOT providing flowers for the cocktail hour. She provided flowers for the ladies room at no extra cost and decorated an amenity basket that I left in the ladies room and made it gorgeous. I just loved those touches! We had a bridal luncheon for my daughter the day before the wedding and had a theme of yellow butterflies. The flower arrangements that she came up with blew everyone away!! They were just gorgeous and featured yellow butterflies on branches coming from the arrangements. Love Laurelwood!!!

THE BEST wedding decision I ever made was picking Laurie at Laurelwood Designs. AMAZING! My family has been using Laurelwood Designs for many events in the best including my sweet sixteen and it was such a pleasure having her do my wedding flowers. Laurie is such a great person and worked with the flowers I wanted to make BEAUTIFUL centerpieces, bouquets and sweetheart table pieces that were also used for our ceremony. Her team did a great job and the flowers were on time at both locations. I remember walking over to the box where our bouquets were and just started tearing up because they were exactly what I had invisioned. AMAZING! Laurie and her team absolutely NAILED it for our wedding. Everyone was raving about so many things but especially the flowers! From first meeting to final mock-up, Laurie was such a pleasure to work with. Her relaxed/no drama approach is so refreshing in a sea of wedding vendors. She is a consummate professional and INCREDIBLY talented. The scene she created far exceeded our expectations. The flowers lasted FOREVER - we walked into our house after a 2.5 week honeymoon to find some still in bloom! The flowers for my wedding were amazing! The bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids were beautiful and the boutonnieres were exactly what I had hoped for. The centerpieces for my reception were more beautiful than I could have imagined. Laurie created exactly what I had dreamed of for my reception. Working with her was amazing from start to finish. The flowers at my wedding exceeded all of my expectations. My guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the room was because of my flowers and decor. Laurie went above and beyond to make sure she provided me with exactly what I asked for. She provided excellent advice and suggestions and was very flexible. Even though I booked her a year in advance, she stayed in contact with me throughout the year and checked in to see if I wanted to make any changes. She provided a sample of my bouquet and table centerpieces and was so easy to work with. On the day of the wedding she spent a lot of time making sure the room was decorated according to plan. I had to switch my ceremony to inside on the day of because of the weather and she made the inside room look so gorgeous that I didn't mind at all not being outside. She is so knowledgeable about flowers and what looks good, in addition to so many venues in New Jersey / New York. I highly suggest using her for any important event in your life!

I can't even begin to describe how amazing Laurie & her wonderful team were! From our very first consultation she was extremely professional, creative, and sweet. She gave us great ideas for our ceremony and reception and worked hard to find ways to reuse ceremony flowers during the reception in order to save us money! Her work way exceeded our expectations. Wow! Is the only thing I can say about the flowers for my daughter's wedding!! I was so in awe about all the details Laurie put into the designs! It absolutely exceeded all of our expectations and dreams! The centerpieces were breathtaking and so elegant! The bouquets were stunning and even the corsages and boutineers were so perfect! I truly believe my wedding wouldn't have been as beautiful as it was without Laurelwood Designs. Laurie goes above and beyond- making all your crazy ideas an actual vision. I got married at the Florentine Gardens in Rivervale, NJ. Laurie and her team made the venue truly a romantic atmosphere. Everyone could not stop talking about how breathtaking the centerpieces, front lobby table and overall decor was. My bouquet was STUNNING! I legit cried when I saw it on my wedding day because it was better than I had ever imagined. Everyone's flowers were amazing!! The color scheme was exactly what I wanted! Laurie was absolutely amazing! From the first time we met her, we knew she would take our wedding vision and give us the flower arrangements of our dreams! Working with laurelwood designs was one of the best experiences I had planning my wedding. Laurie is passionate, enthusiastic and extremely talented floral designer. Paying very close attention to detail. I knew what flowers I wanted and a rough idea of how I wanted them and she transformed my vision into a masterpiece. I had a strict budget and she did anything and everything to stay within that budget but still giving me a beautiful, breathtaking outcome the day of my wedding. Laurie was my favorite vendor to work with during the process of planning my wedding. Laurie goes over and beyond for her clients. I love that she does a sample centerpiece prior to the wedding making sure it's exactly what you want (she was spot on with the sample!) Laurie made our secret garden wedding come to life. From the day we said "I do" to Laurelwood, to the day we said "I do" at our ceremony, Laurie and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Worrying about how our florals would turn out was the least of our concerns. We met with a handful of florists and Laurie definitely stood out. Her passion, knowledge, and honesty out shined the rest.
Other florists would tell us, "Yes, we can do whatever you want" - it was as if they were only saying that to get our business. For example, I wanted trees ... yes, actual trees in our reception room. Laurie informed me that we could do trees, but mentioned additional costs and care after the wedding (i.e. what would we do with the trees afterward?). Obviously with a particular vision in mind, any bride could be blinded by what she wants vs. practicality. Understanding our vision, Laurie came up with an alternative option. There were pillars within our reception room and Laurie suggested that we transform the pillars into the trees that I wanted - genius. We appreciated that and so did all of our guests. It has been over one month since our wedding and our guests still talk about our florals. "Spectacular", "perfect", "magical", "romantic", and "beautiful", are all words that have been used to describe our decor - this is all thanks to Laurie and her team. I would recommend Laurelwood Designs for flowers! They did such an amazing job! The bouquets matched my bridesmaids dresses perfectly. The color combination she recommended for the color of the dresses and the time of year could have been better.

Laurie and her assistant, Julie were great from the beginning. We booked her over a year in advance and she gave us pointers for all kinds of things (where to buy linens, names of other vendors, etc). We gave her creative freedom, but showed her examples of things we liked and asked that she used seasonal florals.

The choices on the day of were a surprise, but were exactly what we were looking for. She was right on target with the venue and the rest of the decor.

Laurie did an absolutely amazing job with the flower arrangements for the entire event. The flowers were completely breathtaking!!! When I went for our first meeting I didn't really have a specific idea of what I wanted just a generalized feeling and colors scheme and Laurie turned it into exactly what I didn't know I wanted. The entire ceremony scene was out of a fairy tale and the card table was exactly what I envisioned. The center pieces and bouquets were unbelievabley beautiful. When I first saw Laurie's sample flowers displayed at one of the bridal expo's I knew I had fallen in love with her style. My Flowers were simply a dream come true and I couldn't have dreamnt of anything better. Laurie and her team were AMAZING!! I got married i September 13, 2015. I have been working on picking my flowers for over a year with Laurie. Not only was she reasonable in price and worked with my budget, but I can't even tell you how beautiful my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets were! There are so many amazing things to say about Laurie that I don't know where to start. I had visited two other florists prior to meeting with Laurelwood and as soon as I started talking with her I knew that it was going to be a great appointment and experience overall. Laurie is not only an exceptional floral designer but she is an exceptional person. She is incredibly personable, caring, kind, and will strive for perfection in each and every arrangement to assure that you are happy. Having a hard time visualizing different ideas, Laurie was able to pull up a database with hundreds if not thousands of pictures to help me better visualize my ideas and hers. This was incredibly helpful for me and got me so excited for our wedding day flowers! I had high expectations and Laurie and her team greatly exceeded them! All of our flowers - the bouquets, flower girl flowers, boutonnieres, ceremony space flowers, and reception flowers - and candle accents - were honestly breathtaking. So many people have asked me who we used for our florist because they couldn't get over how beautiful all of the flowers were designed and executed. Laurelwood designs did an amazing job for my daughter's June 20th wedding. After our first meeting with Laurie, we knew we wanted her to handle the event. She was easy to work with, stayed within our budget and came up with a floral plan that we loved. Follow up was easy, she was always reachable and agreed readily when we added or made changes to our order. The day of the wedding, the ceremony had to be moved inside due to weather and again Laurelwood Designs made all the changes needed. The ceremony flowers and arch were beautiful and surpassed our expectations. When we walked into the reception, the centerpiece took our breath away. I was obsessed with how beautiful the bridesmaid bouquets and my bouquet turned out! Everything was so romantic and prefect thanks to her! Highly recommended!

I met with several florists before I decided to work with Laurie. She was by far the most attentive to my needs and guided me to the flowers she knew that would work for what I was looking for without being pushy. I didn't want any white flowers...I wanted bright jewel tones with pops of fuchsia and what she came up with was above and beyond my expectations at the same time not breaking the bank of my wedding budget (which is very easy to do). They created EXACTLY what I had envisioned, from my bouquet all the way to the centerpieces, my reception venue looked magical. I cannot express how great their service was. Laurie even added a piece of my mother's bridal gown to my bouquet as an added touch since she is no longer with us. Everything was just so special. I wish I can post pics of how gorgeous and vibrant the flowers were.

Once I got engaged, the recommendations for wedding vendors came flowing in. Laurie was one of the florists who came highly recommended and after meeting with a few florists for quotes and creative ideas, we booked her with confidence. Laurie is very down to earth, honest and funny! She takes your ideas to heart and works within your budget without ever being pushy. I did not know quite how our ideas would pan out until my sample appointment which was at the venue, at her suggestion. This brought the whole thing to life and my mother and I were overjoyed with the beauty and lusciousness of the entire design. The day of one's wedding can be stressful but I never felt anxious knowing that Laurie and her team were going to be there doing what they do best. The chuppah took my breath away as did everything else. I will continually recommend Laurie as a florist for all events and hope I can work with her again in the future!

Let me start of by saying this beautiful woman is extremely talented. We used Laurie for our wedding this past saturday 3/21/15 for our wedding flowers as well as our floral arrangements for church. OMG let me just tell you all the arrangements were simply to die for! They were breathtaking all of my guests were stunned with how beautiful she decorated the room. When I first saw the ballroom at the Florentine Gardens I was speechless. It was more than I could have asked for I was simply stunned! Mind you i fell in love with the samples she showed me but wow were my arrangements on my wedding day were just spectacular! She is by far one of the best florists I have ever met. She is so kind, warm hearted, and talented. She was such a pleasure to work with we could not have chosen a better florist because in all honesty she is the BEST!!
