  Laurel and I met in college (we had a photography class together) and we became fast friends. I even worked for her on and off for a couple years as her assistant and sometimes second shooter for weddings. So when it came time to book a photographer for my own wedding it was a no brainer! Now that I've been both behind and in front of her camera I can say that she truly is the best of the best! She is professional, reliable, and without a doubt passionate about her work. She has an amazing eye for detail that makes her photography one of a kind. She does so much more than just take pictures too. For my wedding she helped keep us on schedule the entire evening, helped relay information to my groom prior to the ceremony, wrangled my family for portraits, and my personal favorite - "shooed" away the waves of guests trying to get pictures with us right after the ceremony (in a nice and professional way of course, with the promise of taking pictures with them during the reception) so I didn't have to play the "bad guy" towards my guests as we had very limited time (and daylight) to get the post-ceremony portraits done. She is so much more than an amazing photographer, she caters to the bride and groom in every way she can. She is worth every penny!

  I can't stop staring at my wedding photos. Each one Laurel took is truly beautiful. She is so gifted and is so talented. She was on time, professional, gave my husband and I terrific directions and the product speaks for itself. The pictures are breathtaking. We will cherish them for the rest of our lives. We made a mistake not hiring her for our engagement photos. I will never use another photographer. I highly recommend her.

  Very talented photographer! I used her for my engagement photos as well as a very sexy boudoir shoot for my soon to be husband, all of the pictures came out wonderful! She is very considerate and will make you feel very comfortable. Laurel truly has a gift and does wonderful work! . Her photos are something that we will cherish forever :-)

  Laurel and Katie were wonderful to work with from day one on! We hired laurel based on yhe recommendation from a co-worker and hands down was the bet decision we made for our wedding! She was always right on top of everything and I never once had to worry about wether or not she got the shot for us! I can't recommend her enough!

  Theres nothing bad I can say about Laurel. This very professional photographer went above and beyond to make sure I got all the shots possible at my wedding. She was there from the beginning of me getting ready and stayed the whole night working tirelessly with her assistant. I really felt like I was her no. 1 priority that day. The photos ended up great with a good mixture of the classic standards with many impromptu special moments. I highly recommend Laurel Serra because she loves what she does and thats what makes her work great!

  We were just married two weeks ago and Laurel did our wedding pictures. She and her assistant did an amazing job!!! They were on time..there even before I was! She knew what to do and when to do it, was not a distraction to anyone, but got all of the important shots! She was there from before I got dressed until we tossed the garter and cut the cake. I must say I am very impressed! Everyone else was as well! I will for sure be using her again in the future as well as some of my family!

  I recently got married November 7th 2009 and I originally had a neighbor that we have lived next door to for years that promised to do our wedding photos he was a photographer, Well guess what at the last minute and I mean last minute he backed out on us. I was so upset I was in panic mode, some one at work recommended I call a friend of a friend. (Laurel Serra) I must say at first I was nervous but I called and spoke with her over the phone several times she was not pushy did not try to take advantage of my last minute situation , she was great she asked me to first review her web site , she also listened to my ideas and concerns..That’s had to find!! I was very comfortable with her she made it very easy she was great every one complimented me on her she was so good with the kids. Not to mention the amazing photos I must say she is a one of a kind she does a fabulous job I love my wedding pictures.Did I say LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them she made me look amazing in these pictures. I have never liked to take pictures. I swear I am not photogenic but she pulled it off. I look great :) That may seem silly but honestly I don’t usually take pictures. We have even scheduled our 1st family group photo we are so excited!
  
  She is one of the best around you will not be disappointed she is a true professional!
