You absolutely get the value you’re paying for. Great wedding package, rain backup options, well established, employees are extremely helpful and professional, gorgeous views and property, beautiful rustic/naturesque lodge, and extremely accommodative. They had golf carts for us to use for guests and bridal party, ramps were great for anyone who can’t walk/walk well, and accommodates for food allergies and makes sure to list them for your event! In house food and bar service (both absolutely exceptional and reasonable priced, everyone raved over how great the food and cake tasted!!), and the venue itself is so beautiful on its own you only need minimal decor. Holly and Ariel were the absolute best to work with and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the entire process. My wedding went so smoothly because of everyone who worked there knew exactly what they were doing and the venue even recommends external vendors so you can find the best option for you and they’ll know the exact flow and layout that Laurel Ridge has as well. All of my guests kept talking about how beautiful, enjoyable, and fun of a wedding it was all thanks to Laurel Ridge. 100000/10 recommend!! -

Laurel Ridge saved my daughters wedding day. We reserved last minute after our original venue fell through, and it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. The property is beautiful, the staff is exceptional, and the entire event was flawless. They stepped in, stepped up, and delivered a stunning event with almost no lead time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a gorgeous, reliable wedding venue. Ariel is fantastic to work with and helped answer every one of our questions (and trust me there were a lot of them) -

March 7 wedding
We held our ceremony and reception here earlier this month and had the best time! The view was amazing and the space itself was breathtaking. Event coordinators responded quickly and answered every question we had. They had a select number of preferred vendors who were also wonderful! Overall they helped make our day as special as it could get. -

My husband and I just got married here last month and it was PERFECT!! We STILL have people raving about how beautiful the venue was. The views are 12/10 and you'll have picture backdrops that are straight out of a wedding magazine.
Holly and her team were the best to work with, and we didn't have to worry about a single thing day of. She answered our a million and one questions throughout the year with details & photos since we planned our wedding from states away. She even facetimed us the entire venue a couple of times so we could really get a feel for the space. I'm so beyond thankful for her and all the work the staff did day of to make it truly the best day ever. I can't recommend them enough!!! -

My daughter's wedding day at Laurel Ridge was more than we could have dreamed of. Holly and her staff were very professional from the moment we arrived and even the most minor of details were attended to. The bartenders were efficient and extremely personable. The food was served promptly (not easy with 138 guests!) and everyone raved about the quality. The location is magical and, and pair that with the amazing Holly, you have the perfect wedding venue! -

My husband and I could not be more thankful we found Laurel Ridge. We got married outside at the Arbor and had our reception at the Pavillion. The director, Holly, is the sweetest person you will ever meet. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we, and our guests, had a perfect night. The bridal suite breakfast far exceeded our expectations (and was the best bacon I probably have ever had). Our guests raved about the food (parmesan crusted salmon and prime rib) and the views!
The two most important items to us in finding a venue was to be in the mountains and to find a place our dog, Monty (a Rottie), could walk down the aisle. Laurel Ridge blew both of those requirements out of the water. They were so accommodating to Monty and all of our last minute changes (including to the floor plan!). We had never heard of Waynesville before finding Laurel Ridge online as a possible venue. Now it is a place we love and can’t wait to return to. If you, like us, are planning a destination wedding, the views at Laurel Ridge make the travel so worth it!
Finally, we were able to stay well within our budget - and Holly made the planning process so easy! We cannot say enough positive things about this special place and team. -

My husband and I just got married at Laurel Ridge last weekend and I could not possibly do their team justice in one review, but I will try my best. Holly and Ariel were absolutely wonderful to work with from our first walkthrough. They are kind, communicative, and incredibly helpful. Every part of the wedding planning process was so easy with this team. The food was absolutely incredible, bar staff and servers were incredibly kind, and Holly and Ariel worked with our vendors to ensure that our day was perfect - and it truly was.
If you are looking for a venue that will take your breath away, do yourself a favor and set up a walkthrough here. The views are beautiful and each reception space is ideal. We had our ceremony at the arbor and our reception at the pavilion, but if we had to move inside for the rain, I would have still been thrilled. So many of our guests had stated that they looked at pictures of the venue before attending and were still awestruck when they stepped onto the property.
We could not possibly be more grateful for Laurel Ridge Country Club and its team for giving us the most wonderful wedding day. -

Could not have imagined a more perfect venue for our wedding! Functionally, the most seamless venue for a one-stop-shop wedding venue: several options for indoor or outdoor ceremony, reception, rain plan, and rehearsal needs all within feet of each other which makes it easy to move people between events. They are flexible to work with in providing standard cutlery/tables/linens/etc or work with outside vendors who provide more options meaning you can tailor your wedding as much as you want to your taste and budget. Not to mention the stunning views of the mountains and a venue with rustic class. Above all is the amazing staff - the wedding managers, Holly and Ariel, are attentive to detail, thoughtful, talented at their work, and above all just the kindest people to plan such a special day with. The great staff doesn’t stop there: the food team (shoutout Dustin), the chef (best wedding food you’ve ever had), the bar staff (shoutout Sam), and all everyone we encountered were beyond generous, helpful, and made our wedding especially perfect! -

Hey there! So I got married at Laurel Ridge Country Club this past winter and let me tell you, it was the absolute best decision I could have made! Holly and her team of staff are absolutely top notch. They work so hard to make your wedding day perfect. My family and friends went on and on about how incredibly beautiful the venue is, how nice the staff was, and how great the food tasted. I would recommend this venue to any bride. They strive to create your vision and I cannot stress how wonderful the whole experience was. If you are a bride looking for a venue, this is the place you want your wedding to be at. -

Everyone at Laurel Ridge Country Club was amazing and our wedding day was so magical! From the bridal suite, golf cart rides to picture places, amazing mountain views, to amazing food, and the beautiful indoor reception space, everything was above and beyond! Holly and Ariel were so easy to work with and so kind. Can’t say enough good about this venue! The staff was also so friendly and did just about everything for us. They set up and take down the ceremony chairs and dining sets, serve, and they even set up a room for my husband and I to enjoy our first meal together. It made it so fun and romantic! The only down side was the day flew by so fast 😉 -

Get married at laurel ridge
My husband and I recently got married here.
We are from Florida and Holly made the wedding planning experience so easy! I was so worried with how everything would come together and it truly came out amazing! The staff is so wonderful and personable. We had our ceremony at the Arbor and reception in the Piedmont room.
The food was so delicious! We chose the chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and the parmesan crusted salmon. Everyone complimented the food and how amazing the venue was.
It's been almost a month since we got married at Laurel Ridge. We are still on cloud nine with how perfectly the day went. Us and our guests continue to talk about our wedding to this day!
We already miss Holly and the amazing staff.
We plan on making a trip back up soon to see everyone! Thank you Laurel Ridge for creating the best day ever!! -

My husband , Tim, and I had absolutely wonderful wedding reception at the Laurel Ridge Country Club. Holly Smith, the Director of Catering and Events, helped us through the entire planning process. From catering menus to linen discussions, Holly always had a smile and a willingness to help make our day as special as possible. She and her assistant, Ariel, were kind, thoughtful, and professional each time we spoke or met with them. Our great experience at the Laurel Ridge Country Club is greatly due to Holly's facilitating and friendly professionalism. Ariel, whom we met towards the end of our planning, was warm and pleasant as well. Ariel helped ensure I had everything I needed in the bridal suite the day of my wedding, and my friends and family enjoyed the food and champagne we ordered.
Venue: Tim and I loved the venue the moment we entered it. The stately large windows exhibited rolling green golf-course hills, and trees that were both calming and beautiful. The venue presented both a classy and rustic decor, with a large fireplace on one end of the main hall, and an exit to a patio area on the other. Although my husband and I chose the indoor venue, the outdoor venue contained a covered area with a large fireplace with nearby lighted trees at dusk. Our guests were welcome to this area as well.
Food: Our tasting was a fun culinary experience, and Holly met with us to discuss our favorite options. We chose the parmesan crusted salmon and the sirloin steak, which our guests loved. Since there were two children present at the reception, the chefs made kid-friendly meals such as grilled cheese or chicken tenders with fries.
Going the Extra Mile: We had our cake delivered for all the guests, but Tim and I needed a last minute frosting for our own gluten-free cake due to unexpected changes. Sarah, a staff member, helped frost a photo-worthy cake that was prettier than I imagined. Holly and Ariel also helped with a smile and a positive attitude throughout the reception evening.
LRCC Inn: The Country Club has four associated rooms across from the main courtyard. Mandy was an excellent communicator and ensured that we had everything that we needed from a borrowed iron and ironing board to a cooler. Each inn room opened up to a connected outside porch with rocking chairs and a view of the country club. Guests will enjoy the closeness to the LRCC entrance and the relaxing atmosphere of the inn. The rooms were clean and inviting.
Overall, the Laurel Ridge Country Club has our highest recommendation for a wedding venue as well as Holly Smith, the Events Coordinator. We look forward to visiting during our one-year anniversary!

Exceptional experience
Our daughter was married in June 2023 at Laurel Ridge County Club. The venue’s mountain & golf course views are absolutely spectacular! Several different ceremony & reception sites are available to choose from. We chose an outdoor wedding by the arbor, just steps away from the indoor reception. The rustic, high, open ceilings with stone fireplace dining room was gorgeous with incredible views from all the windows. The food was delicious. The wait staff was very attentive and welcoming to all. We had the pleasure of working with Holly Smith, the event coordinator. She was so very helpful throughout the entire process. She always made the time to sit down with us and answered any questions we might have. She shared so many wonderful ideas that we incorporated to make the day so special. She maintained communication throughout the nine months of planning via phone calls & emails as well. Holly also shared a list of preferred vendors that helped make the planning process much easier. The entire day was flawless. We continue to receive compliments from guests saying it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended! -

The Laurel Ridge Country club was not only a spectacular wedding venue, but the even coordination team was outstanding! We had the pleasure of working with Holly Smith who made sure the planning leading up to the wedding was as perfect as the day itself. Holly went above and beyond on several occasions to make sure our special day was perfect. It should be highlighted that there was a chance of rain on our wedding day and the Laurel Ridge event team was both willing and able to work with us on any last minute accommodations. Thankfully we didn't need to exercise our back up plan but knowing that we had one made the day so much less stressful. We couldn't have been happier with our overall experience! The food and drinks were outstanding and the servers were 5 star. We've received so many compliments about everything at our wedding and we owe a lot of that to Laurel Ridge and Holly! -

We cannot image having our special day anywhere else!
Laurel Ridge was everything we hoped for in a wedding venue! We had a winter wedding and were looking for a mountain lodge when searching for a venue. Laurel Ridge captured all of that with the huge stone fireplace, wooden floors, lodge chairs and not to mention the floor to ceiling windows with the mountain views! It was spectacular and perfect for our winter mountain wedding! Holly was fantastic, so helpful and genuinely cared about the details and making sure our day went smoothly! The meal was incredible, and the guests were simply "wowed" by the day. We cannot imagine having our special day anywhere else! Thank you, Laurel Ridge! -

Amazing, Incredible, Beautiful, More Than I Dreamed!!
No words to explain how amazing everything was here! I was originally pulled in by the building design/décor and antler chandeliers. I didn't want to have a destination wedding so I didn't want to like it but the second I saw this venue, I was hooked. It is the most stunning place so I was expecting everything else to be subpar. NOPE The food was outstanding and the people there were so incredible. They don't treat you like just another bride, you feel like you are buds with them by the end of it. Everyone there was incredible. Holly was who I dealt with the most and she was the best to be around! She kept me calm and laughing all day and made sure me and my family had everything that we needed.
I got so many compliments on how nice everyone was, how amazing the food was and how completely stunning the venue was. I could not have picked a better place for our wedding. It was my dream design/look and will recommend it to anyone who will listen. Going to miss hanging with the Laurel Ridge crew!! -

We had the most wonderful wedding at Laurel Lane Country Club on 6/18/2022 with 110 guests. Dale was super accommodating throughout the process. We came just to try the food before picking Laurel Lane officially and the food was phenomenal. Jose cooks large portions with fantastic quality. The steak was by far a favorite, and the pasta aioli was also fabulous. Dale kept in touch by email and phone call throughout the planning process. She was helpful in lending centerpiece materials and providing insight.
Our guests had a fabulous time and raved about the location. The greenery of the golf course outside was perfect, especially towards sunset. Dale recommended a location for outdoor pictures, which turned out to be great with a small garden and archway on the course. The wrap around porch was great to take a break from dancing, take pictures with the beautiful greenery in the background, and chat with guests.
Dale closed Rudy's Bar and Grille - the restaurant for the golf course - earlier in the day so our guests would be able to use the bar area for the cocktail hour. The bartenders were attentive, and diligent about ensuring guests were okay.
The reception area was phenomenally put together. The staff laid the tablecloths, napkins, silverware, and bread plates beforehand so we could add our special centerpiece touches the night before the wedding. This was helpful in making the day of the wedding less stressful. My mother-in-law was able to come by and put together last minute decorations on-site.
The actual reception was great in terms of timing, drinks, the food was phenomenal (I thoroughly enjoyed my sirloin steak, potatoes, and green beans), and the staff was very attentive to guests.

My husband and I both could not emphasize enough how much we loved getting married at LRCC. So many of our guests kept asking how we found such a beautiful place. The food and the decor was amazing. We had rain all day and though we had to go with plan C (maybe it was plan Z, the bride gets spared a lot of details) I couldn’t have asked for a better alternative - in fact, I think it was more “us” anyways. I hope to go back one day! -

Danielle at Laurel Ridge was the best to work with on my daughters wedding! I honestly couldn’t have did it without her. She answered every call/email and worked hard on every detail before and especially the day of the wedding to make sure it was a day to remember! She is very coordinated, knowledgeable and professional but also very personable. Danielle goes above and beyond! The food was amazing as well! Laurel Ridge is absolutely beautiful and many offered compliments on our wedding venue Choice . -

I couldn’t imagine any other venue than Laurel Ridge to host my wedding ceremony AND reception! The venue was by far the most complimented part of the day. I chose to go without a wedding planner, and with the help of Danielle, we pulled this off in about 5 months - and it was flawless! Danielle goes above and beyond for her clients. She caught every detail, thought, and idea and executed them flawlessly. The food was AMAZING and I went with a very simple menu - house salad, chicken, vegetables, and rolls. Laurel Ridge handles all tables, chairs, linens, and even extra items like vases and sparklers, which helped a ton. Our pictures turned out amazing, and it doesn’t even do the venue justice! I can’t say enough about this venue and the staff - thank you for the perfect day! -

Leshall and Danielle and the ENTIRE STAFF at Laurel Ridge were INCREDIBLE. I planned the wedding from two states away and Leshall and Danielle made it so easy and as stress free as one could possibly be. Leshall kept everyone on schedule, kept the night going smoothly and even helped with decor on our wedding day. She is truly a talent in this business and so is Danielle. We were congratulated by Mike who helped set everything up. He was so friendly. The staff was dancing as they helped remove plates. I have family who have been to extravagant weddings in NYC and they told me Laurel Ridge and the food was at the top of their wedding venue list. Wow- where to even start? Danielle and staff are amazing to work with! They are responsive and heard all of our desires and was able to make it happen!
The food was incredible and people are still calling us over a week later just to rave about the venue and the menu!
If we have any event needs we would absolutely use LRCC again! -

The most wonderful place imaginable for a wedding. The venue is beautiful on it's own before the flowers and decorations. My guests were asking me how I found such a place and commented that the wedding was like a fairytale! The food was amazing, the staff was extremely helpful, polite & accommodating. We stayed on the grounds in the 4 rooms across the parking lot and they were beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. I cannot say enough about how much help and guidance we received from Danielle Brendell and Shell Isenberg from the moment we got there from the personal help with my family in our rooms to the help my florist and decorator received as they prepared for the wedding day. Many guests to include ourselves will be back to stay to play golf, fish and attend the delicious brunch. We are so lucky to have stumbled onto Laurel Ridge when looking for wedding venues!!!!! -

Great wedding at a great location
Danielle was so amazing everything was just how we wanted ( except for the weather) which she adjusted from the arbor to the pavilion nicely for us to still have it outside . Food was great . Staff was very awesome ,fun and professional ! Everyone had a blast. -

Beautiful - venue, staff, & experience at Laurel Ridge
As our first to get married, we knew our daughter would love something rustic, simple, and classy. One visit and we knew it was the right venue. Not only a lovely building and facilities, but the staff was so friendly, the food so delicious. The price was unbelievable, the options many, and the care spectacular. Danielle was the real treasure. Efficient, organized, kind, calm. We have no complaints and only compliments on the year leading up to a truly magical day. -

She makes sure your day goes off without a hitch; we loved every moment of our special day. If you are looking for rustic mountain beauty, look no further than Laurel Ridge. There are several different spaces to choose from for reception, and our ceremony we chose inside I front of the floor to ceiling windows. There is a beautiful spot up the golf course to take pictures with the mountains in the background. I highly recommend this venue and everything they have to offer.

The bartenders were not overly friendly but they were efficient, there was never a long wait for guests to get drinks. This place will always be special and they made our wedding day unforgettable! -

She provided lots of helpful information and direction prior to and on the day of the wedding. She answered all of our emails and phone calls in advance and was extremely responsive the whole time. The venue was beautiful and the entire staff accommodated our requests. The food was amazing and the service was on time and prompt. Our guests had a fabulous time at Laurel Ridge. Again, we can't say enough about how well Leshall took care of us on our special day!
