    Beautiful well priced with friendly staff

    I emailed Laurel Ridge and they were immediately responsive, polite and friendly. The photos were just beautiful. The venue looks beautiful, very clean and new. The price is a great value. Yes, I would recommend this venue.

    A piece of heaven

    When I drove up to the estate I immediately fell in love. Breathtaking views of the natural habitat - rolling hills, mature trees, creek, all surrounded by stunning white fencing. I could not believe this gem was secretly tucked away right outside city limits. I drove from downtown to be on site in like 10 minutes.

    Super Versatile

    I’ve seen and attended multiple events at this venue and it is always stunning. Christi and Tyler are wonderful hosts that pay attention to the details! Wedding, Business meetings, family gatherings....the space and service is marvelous each time. Soooo many customizing options and in such an ideal location! Can’t wait to see more happen here!

    Wonderful Experience

    Tyler was super great to work with! He was very responsive to our questions. Any time we needed something, or had a question the LR team was on top of it! The morning after the wedding, we thought we had forgotten something, and the LR team was ready to help us with it! We are so glad we chose this beautiful venue!

    Management driven by greed

    TLDR; My kids participated in a wedding; I brought them lunch as we weren't eating until 6 hrs later. Later, Laurel Ridge reviewed security footage for the day looking for an excuse to keep the security deposit; saw someone eating Taco Johns, kept the bride and groom's deposit. There were no signs posted outlawing food (only outside alcohol) and worker told them it was OK. Please do the right thing and give them their deposit back, management.

    I had young daughters participating in a wedding at Laurel Ridge. They had to be there 6 hours before the reception, and we didn't have a lot of time with everything that needed to be done that morning so I dropped them off to start getting ready, and then ran and got fast food so they could feed themselves before the reception later that night (again 6 hrs later). Little did I know, you're not allowed to bring food or drinks of any kind into Laurel Ridge even though in many cases you'll need to be there all day getting ready. How should I have known? There are no signs outlawing food or drink, only a sign saying no outside alcohol, which we, and everyone else, abided by. It gets worse; when the bride saw they had food she mentioned the food ban, so my wife asked someone working there (long blonde pony tail) if it was OK and she responded that it was fine. It gets better, they have a fridge in the changing rooms, for what? To trick you into bringing in drinks so that they can keep the deposit apparently.

    Come one Laurel Ridge management, you charge THOUSANDS to rent for the day, you get THOUSANDS from the bar that's set up (again no outside alcohol), and you turn around and spend who knows how much time pouring over security footage looking for anything to keep the security deposit? That's pure greed, plain and simple. Again, NO ONE running this place mentioned that food was a problem (we weren't hiding anything), in fact someone told my wife it was fine. And yet you keep the wedding party's security deposit over something so trivial? They're a young couple who scraped together everything they had to book this place and this is how you thank them for their business? In my opinion this is about as low as it gets. Laurel Ridge Barn management should be ashamed of themselves. Please do the right thing and give the Bride her deposit back (she did nothing wrong) and make sure signs are clearly posted for future guests. Wedding was on Sept 12th.

    Brides stay away!!!

    Brides stay away from this place! The owner is very deceiving person! Not worth at all! He gives you a price then last minute changes it! The workers there are rude and don’t smile at all! Not welcoming! The employees go through ur personal bags even trash bags in the getting ready room! Then after the wedding the owner cuts you off and stops responding to the messages! The place is such a beautiful spot for a wedding but it’s so not worth all the drama! Drinks at the bar are overpriced, and the owner can’t provide the receipt! Also the water that the bride payed &300 for tasted like iron and people had to buy water at the bar and go to their cars to drink!

    HORRIBLE. I would never choose this place again.. :(

    I’m a bride. And I would never choose this place again. It was terrible. Tyler is a liar and just wants your money. After my family left reviews he got other people to leave reviews within the hour to hide ours!!!!!!!!!! He will stop responding right after the wedding to both you and your husband. Expect to pay about 3,000 more than you agrwe on. HAVE EVERYTHING in writing because he changes things and lies.... a lot. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK. We tried getting it back and he said no because we used their knife and plates for cake.......... then stopped responding. (and no we did not use their plates, our caterer let us use theirs and they did not charge) His wife went through our bags while we were getting married, (NOT OKAY) to find alcohol! She ate a huge ass plate of our food that we payed $22 dollars for a plate, she also took my husbands drink out of his hand after his father bought it for him FROM the bar. They also threatened to shut down the wedding because they found alcohol in our car so they then decided to start taking it out of OUR CAR which we have video evidence of. He tried scamming us $500 by sending us a contract over text saying a different price the week of the wedding but good thing we still had our contract so we sent him a picture of THAT and it was $500 less than what we originally agreed on. Good thing my husband caught that, so he owed us money back and the only reason we got it was because we still had to pay for WATER so we just didn’t pay that. Yes you have to pay for each guest to have water. And be ready for your guests to complain about the water because its disgusting and un drinkable. Im the bride and i was SO thirsty on my wedding day but coudnt get myself to drink their nasty water so i had to keep buying more water at the bar after paying SO MUCH for water already. BRIDES DONT DO IT!!!!!!!! The beaty of the barn is NOT worth it I promise :( I posted photos to prove that he’s ignoring us for days now, and scammed us $500.

    Beautiful place, HORRIBLE customer service

    Beautiful place! Terrible service! Tyler (the owner) is a perfect definition of a con artist. He is so deceiving. When you talk to him hes nice and will tell you what you want to hear. My sister paid almost $300 for WATERRRR! & it tasted like iron very poorly filtered...ppl werent able to drink their water you had to go buy a bottle at the bar cars and bags were searched for out side drinks and confiscated. Poor Alina Zherebyova cried 3 times during her wedding and said this is the worst most humiliating day of her life. I am not lying when i say i didnt see even one staff member smile..the entire night and i even cracked a couple.jokes..I can go on and on about the details of why i would never recommend getting married here but no one wants to read so much. Its not fair that he gets to ruin wedding after wedding. This needs to stop. These girls get ONE wedding day!
